(12/28/2014) The Sin Covered By Salvation?

The specific forms of sin addressed by redemption and salvation through Jesus Christ are considered, today.  A writer at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Lazybug” (Level 4 with 4,299 points, a member since January 03, 2011) posted the following:

When Christians say 'Jesus died for our sins', what sins they really talk about? Did people stop making 'those sins' after he was crucified?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things:  and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.  But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.  For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.  (Matthew 12:  35-37, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Living not Dying for Our Sins? (11/27/2014); Eternal Life By Means of Carnal Death? (11/28/2014); Sinless Until Advent? (11/05/2014); Holy Wars? (11/06/2014); Death is a Divine Tool (09/15/2014); A Sleep and a Second Death (09/16/2014)

“Lazybug”, here are a few points I am free to share as a servant to Jesus Christ:

(1.)  There are two aspects of sin that absolutely must be addressed by divinity through atonement and propitiation.  Both earth and heaven are now tainted through what we may call “Adamic”, collective, or historical sin as well as what we may term individual, personal, and “substance” sin.  Adamic sin is described as an inherited condition that disposes mankind to sin that may be spoken of as an influence that may dominate awareness and self-will.  Personal sin has to do with the missing spirit content for those who have not accepted things ministered to heaven and earth through Jesus Christ with its fresh endowment of spirit from divinity that includes faith, forbearance, forgiveness, holiness, joy, longsuffering, love, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

(2.)  Sin is no thing created by GOD, and has no carnal, material or social aspect from divinity, yet, sin has direction, effect, and presence. Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and all divine order generated through sacred law.  The “existence” of sin can only be recognized and resisted through divine provisions such as covenant, government, law, and the imparted Spirit.  Sin may be described as “self destruction,” and has no function or purpose in agreement with divine intent and eternal purposes such as being, life, and person.

(3.)  The blood of Jesus upon the cross is essential to the sacred process of atonement that alone may alter the record of personal sin, yet, does not eliminate and remove sin itself (for sin has no existence).  We describe divine judgment as though it is simple; however, in divine judgment men are not accused and indicted by GOD, by Satan, by angels or by other men.  The record of a person’s own deeds and words will commend or condemn them.  The blood of Jesus selectively applied will “cover” a multitude of sins (i.e., errors, bad conduct, misdeeds), yet, may not erase or expunge them.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Given the operations of sin have altered the endowment of spirit substance originally imparted to Adam (we say, the breath of life, the Holy Spirit, the word of GOD) a fresh deposit of divinity must be provided through baptism (death of ones inborn spirit, rebirth from divine substance).  Born again, believers must “grow again” facing life challenges upon the earth, acquiring sacred knowledge, and developing through fellowship with other believers.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
