(07/31/2017) The First Divine Thought?

Today, reply is made on divine spirit being different from intellect, mind, and thought.  In their discipline to remain grounded, practical and sober, mature Christian believers avoid conjecture and speculation on events and operations of divinity not revealed within the holy writings.  It is as absurd and unfruitful to imagine GOD surrounded by nothing or immersed within the streams of chaos and flux as to estimate the number of years between the founding of heaven and the earth, or seek to grasp what might have been GOD’s first thought and why.  There is no meaningful provision of sacrament, salvation, revelation, or the sacred knowledge essential to securing eternal life.  One of the fighters at “Yahoo! Answers (New Zealand)” who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile data shared) posted the following:

What was God doing all that time before he made his first thought?

God is eternal, with no beginning. But there must have been a first thought. So was God just blank for trillions of infinite millenniums?

"trillions of infinite millenniums?" I don't know what that means either.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  The secret things belong unto the LORD our God:  but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.  (Deuteronomy 29:  29, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  GOD Revealed As One (07/12/2017); A Beginning And End? (06/01/2017); The Best Starting Point? (09/13/2016); The First Book of the Bible? (11/20/2014); The Beginning of Wisdom? (11/21/2014); Alpha and Omega (12/29/2013); Fear & GOD? (12/30/2013)

“Anonymous”, to avoid spiritual confusion, most Christian believers share the revelation of GOD that is recorded within the holy writings.  In the Scriptures, the Creator proclaims how he is to be known and spoken of by created beings and living creatures, and becomes “visible” by using thousands of events, occurring within thousands of lives, over the course of thousands of years.  Many mature Christians agree that the character, makeup, and substance of divinity is spirit, and can not be completely and correctly known by relying only on life experiences that are carnal, material, secular, and social.  Sacred knowledge and the authentic discovery of invisible spirit is only acquired by those realizing that divinity is an active presence who communicates with the living by using specific, unchanging meanings, messages, motives, operations, and values.

The living are aware and apprehend their own existence on the basis of finite elements generated by form and physical being that include appetite (e.g., hunger, thirst, cravings for sexual release), sensation (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching), emotion/mental functions (e.g., anger, fear, imagination, recall), and self-will.  The existence and process of divinity are in accordance with the exchanges and interactions among diverse, inseparable divine matter (e.g., faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, righteousness, wisdom, wrath against sin).  The fullness of divinity coheres as oneness without sameness, therefore, Deity appears both as the collective movements of the GODhead and as the actions by distinct persons having divine fullness (i.e., the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit).

While the divine fullness has not yet been—and may never be—comprehended by relying upon the frameworks of time and space, logic, mathematics, and discursive thought, human efforts to understand divinity have included applying systems for rational order that include demystification, personification, and projections from mankind as bearing “the image of GOD.”  As actors, agents and objects within relationships with divinity, mankind engages divinity through various levels of thought.  However, this requires there be full acceptance of the premise that GOD is eternal spirit without beginning and without end.  More than this, with and without action, consciousness, purpose, or thought (as mankind and other created beings and living creatures experience them), GOD manifests as breath, life essence, perfection, utterance, and word.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  Isaiah 55:  7-11, King James Version (KJV):  7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts:  and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.  8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.  9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.  10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:  11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth:  it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

(2.)  Isaiah 58: 13-14, KJV:  13 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:  14 Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father:  for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  Jeremiah 29:  11-13, KJV:  11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.  12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 13 And you shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

(07/30/2017) Mercy to the Merciless?

Today, the integrity of Christ as judge, and the beauty, good, and righteousness of divine judgment are in focus.  Divine judgment and salvation that see the granting of forgiveness, mercy, and release from sin already are occurring on a daily basis, and will soon be completed.  Through the operations of sin the living will lose the “image of GOD” and all resemblance to the character and makeup of Jesus Christ.  Both men and angels may become grotesque, indifferent, unrecognizable, and unresponsive as created beings and living creatures who have been fashioned by GOD and infused with spirit content from the makeup of Deity.  As surely as they no longer value or respect godliness, the Creation as the handiwork of GOD, divine law, eternal purpose, and sacred love, they despise correction, forgiveness and divine mercy.  Their final destruction, and the removal from existence of all corruption, decay and rot are to be acknowledged as acts of healing, justice, lovingkindness, and purification.  One of the many fighters at “Yahoo! Answers (India)” who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

Why was Jesus so cruel and inhumane that he approved of denying a man burning alive a single drop of water?

Luke 16:24 So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’

25 “But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this is all the fruit to take away his sin; when he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, the groves and images shall not stand up.  Yet the defenced city shall be desolate, and the habitation forsaken, and left like a wilderness:  there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down, and consume the branches thereof.  When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off:  the women come, and set them on fire:  for it is a people of no understanding:  therefore he that made them will not have mercy on them, and he that formed them will shew them no favour.  And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall beat off from the channel of the river unto the stream of Egypt, and ye shall be gathered one by one, O ye children of Israel.  And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem.  (Isaiah 27:  9-13, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Making and Keeping Justice? (05/25/2017); The Comfort Through Christ? (01/13/2017); Signs From The Dead? (01/15/2017); About Revelation not Punishment? (11/25/2016); Life Is GOD’s Intent (11/15/2016); About Judgment By GOD (08/29/2016); Hell and The Cross? (04/10/2016)

“Anonymous”, where sinners are blind to their own accountability needed to be in right relationship with divinity, they usually also fail to acknowledge their need for the protection and benefits supplied only by sacred law.   Mature Christian believers generally accept that the issues of cruelty, human error, and exaggerated pride among those having divine authority are put aside by the non-negotiable demands of sacred judgment that include balance, finality, impartiality, mercy, righteousness, and thoroughness.  As created beings and living creatures, the living, both in heaven and on the earth, do not consistently obey and respond to the demands of divine law.  The operations of sin oppose the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and the platforms of divine order essential for the universe.  While sin appears as having no material or spirit substance, sin does display direction, effect, and presence.  Sin is the transgression of divine law that expresses the sovereign will (we also say, person, mind and heart) of GOD.

In the same way the dead do not praise GOD because they no longer have consciousness of divinity and existence, those under the influence of sin do not have self-will (willpower) that allows them to operate as agents and servants to GOD.  More than this, those dominated by sin increasingly become defiled, profane, and warped.  Sinners who lose their inborn and other freely-given endowments of spirit content from the makeup of GOD, become abominable, loathsome, and repulsive to divinity for ever.   Through the ministry of Jesus Christ, believers may receive the inseparable spirit content that includes faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

Sinners are not separated from divinity by some form of “holy hostility”, meanness, or the bullying of defenseless and innocent creatures.  Temporal elements begin a widening of separation among the living that is necessary for the independence, integrity, and stability of their coherence.  The elements like backsliding, covetousness, deceit, enmity, passion, and  rebellion only result in eternal damnation where the divine provisions of forgiveness, mercy, and repentance have been repeatedly despised and rejected.  Consider again the following:

(1.)   Hebrews 10:  26-29, King James Version (KJV):  26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,  27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.  28 He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:  29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

(2.)  James 2:  8-13, KJV:  8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:  9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.  10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.  11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.  12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.  13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  Ezekiel 18:  20-24, KJV:  20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son:  the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.  21 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.  22 All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him:  in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.  23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord God:  and not that he should return from his ways, and live?  24 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned:  in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

(07/28/2017) Hardened Minds and Hearts?

Today, focus is on admonition, covetousness, and the range of sacred operations required to oppose sin.  Correctly understood, the living, and the things of the material and natural world have been created to express and serve the will of the Creator, not merely their own self-will.  It should not be disturbing or surprising, then, that the immortal, invisible Creator of heaven and earth might use animals, angels, the sun, moon, and stars to communicate and intercede with his own finite created beings and living creatures.  What should be thought startling and strange is that the hearts and minds of many are blinded by the flesh and the world so that they can not receive the plain guidance, instruction, warnings and testimonies from the Bible, or shared by those endowed with faith through Jesus Christ.  In the account of Balaam, who was spoken to by an ass, the seer himself regularly experienced unusual events, and often was relied on as the one to give counsel to others when they were challenged and confused by strange occurrences.  The ass had to speak to counter Balaam’s hardness of heart.  Similarly, discernment and sacred knowledge are bestowed on the apostles, prophets, mature believers, and the disciples of Jesus Christ to enable their correct response to the active presence who is GOD.  Consider again the following:  Hebrews 5:  12-14, King James Version (KJV):  12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.  13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness:  for he is a babe.  14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.  One of the fighters at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information appears) posted the following:

Christian. Is the commandment to not covet your neighbour's donkey referring to one of those magical talking donkeys that you all believe in?

Because I must admit, those are some pretty good donkeys!

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And the LORD opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times?  And Balaam said unto the ass, Because thou hast mocked me:  I would there were a sword in mine hand, for now would I kill thee.  And the ass said unto Balaam, Am not I thine ass, upon which thou hast ridden ever since I was thine unto this day? was I ever wont to do so unto thee? and he said, Nay.  Then the LORD opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand:  and he bowed down his head, and fell flat on his face.  And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Wherefore hast thou smitten thine ass these three times? behold, I went out to withstand thee, because thy way is perverse before me:  And the ass saw me, and turned from me these three times:  unless she had turned from me, surely now also I had slain thee, and saved her alive.  And Balaam said unto the angel of the LORD, I have sinned; for I knew not that thou stoodest in the way against me:  now therefore, if it displease thee, I will get me back again.  And the angel of the LORD said unto Balaam, Go with the men:  but only the word that I shall speak unto thee, that thou shalt speak. So Balaam went with the princes of Balak.  And when Balak heard that Balaam was come, he went out to meet him unto a city of Moab, which is in the border of Arnon, which is in the utmost coast.  And Balak said unto Balaam, Did I not earnestly send unto thee to call thee? wherefore camest thou not unto me? am I not able indeed to promote thee to honour?  And Balaam said unto Balak, Lo, I am come unto thee:  have I now any power at all to say any thing? the word that God putteth in my mouth, that shall I speak.  (Number 22:  28-38, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Divinity Appears Using Form (07/26/2017); The Sin of Witchcraft? (01/24/2017); When the Donkey Speaks? (11/03/2016); On Really Seeing Angels (10/09/2016); Getting It Right About Angels (05/10/2015); Harden Not Your Hearts? (09/08/2014);Why Believers Fear (09/09/2014); Hardness of Heart? (11/24/2013); Prayer on Behalf of Others? (11/25/2013); Balaam (10/15/2013); About Sabbath (10/16/2013)

“Anonymous”, none of the many sacred operations carried out by GOD to cleanse, defend, heal, and maintain ongoing relationships with the living involve “magic”.  Establishing godliness within created beings and living creatures now demand such elements as acquiring sacred knowledge, forgiveness, growth, completing mortality (death), rebirth, resurrection, ripening for harvest, and sanctification.  The Spirit of GOD that put forth heaven, the earth, and Creation continues to gradually introduce permanent changes in the spirit content of sinners that include multiple subtleties (i.e., barely visible differences; sudden shifts in meaning, quality, and value), and that remain unseen to those who lack discernment.

Many fail to grasp that covetousness only appears as a transgression of divine law (we say, sin).  All sin opposes the continued existence of sacred law, the Law Giver, and divine order throughout the spheres of life.  It has not been a divine intent or eternal purpose that the living exist with their consciousness and self-will dominated by sin, and responding to an uninterrupted stream of desire.  Sin promotes destruction, nonexistence, and a return to the conditions in place before the founding of heaven and earth.  Even so, the living often accept sin as natural, normal, and in no way contrary to their own character and makeup.

In the same way divine law has been provided for guidance and instruction against sin, the account of the “talking donkey” is supplied for those who are immersed in carnal, material, secular and social realities.  Balaam was a genuine  seer (in the Bible, the early name for a prophet).  In addition to genuine prophecy from GOD that may have included visitations by angels, Balaam also may have indulged the occult through ignorance, innocence, and exaggerated pride.  Thus, a very graphic and strong warning had to be made against the self-will of Balaam and how he might support the enemies of Moses.  (Ask yourself:  Where my own self-will would be directed against the sovereign will of GOD, would it be enough for me to be answered on the Internet by a stranger (some jackass) answering in faith and love to Jesus Christ, or would I need something “extreme”, magical, and occult to be admonished and corrected by GOD?  Would GOD have to use with me what he uses for those having hardened minds and hearts?)

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

(07/27/2017) The Practice of Love

Today, thoughts are shared on the human practice of divine love.  Because we are encouraged repeatedly to think of love as being in connection with premarital courtship, dating, and romance, the reality that love is a spirit substance within the full makeup of Deity has become difficult for us to accept and grasp.  Properly understood, sacred love is never expressed by carnal desire, fantasies of home-making and marriage, or recurring lust and sexual imaginings.  Sacred love is more than attraction and affection; and sacred love is more than feelings of being sexually aroused and stimulated.  The most important feature for building and maintaining close personal relationships that fulfill our need for intimacy, respect, and reciprocity will be the visible acts used to express and show the depth and richness of our otherwise unseen spirit.  Trust is developed through acknowledgment of accountability, forgiveness, risk-taking, self-exposure, and the sharing of truth.  Saying this another way, romantic love is what we do (not merely what we say) to reveal who we are, and to be joined to others for as long as possible; and sacred love is what we do to reveal GOD, and to help others who are seeking to be joined to divinity forever.  The writer at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Nadia” (Level 5 with 6,234 points, a member since July 25, 2010) posted the following:

How to love his neighbor...?

When we know that he will go to hell for his non-belief in jesus ?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Sanctify them through thy truth:  thy word is truth.  As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.  And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.  Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;  That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us:  that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.  And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:  I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.  Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me:  for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.  O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee:  but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.  And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it:  that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.  (John 17:  17-26, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Who Deserves Divine Love? (06/23/2017); Marriage Is A Sacrament? (06/11/2017); No Fear In Love? (05/17/2017); Divine Law Expresses Love (05/10/2017); Saying "GOD is Love" (12/18/2016); Believers Are To Love (12/07/2016); Herein Is True Love (10/21/2016); Divine Jealousy? (09/11/2015)

“Nadia”, love is made understood and visible through unselfish action.  For mature Christian believers, the meaning, purpose, and substance of love have to do with how the existence, integrity, and presence of GOD are established, recognized, and consistently responded to as residing within the makeup and life experience of created beings and living creatures.  While the holy writings proclaim that “GOD is love,” we also accept that GOD is the origin of everything and everyone having existence; and the Creator is the owner and sovereign authority over all that exists now, has ever existed before, and that ever will exist.  Love, therefore, pertains to continuing both existence and life, oneness without sameness, and the multiple ongoing exchanges and interactions among the aspects of divine spirit appearing as full divinity and GODhead.  Included are faith, forbearance, forgiveness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

The love of GOD appears through divine acts that manifest inseparable aspects of divine spirit (we also say, breath, “life essence, sacred utterance, word).  Mechanisms and operations carried out by divinity allow love to have visible form through features such as accord, agreement, creation, duration, eternal life, friendship, giving, mercy that appears only by judgment, obedience, reconciliation, reproduction, sacrifice, salvation, sharing, truth, and unselfish service.  Consider again the following points using language from the Bible that speak to the practice of love within the new testament church:

(1.)  John 15:  12-17, King James Version (KJV):  12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.  13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.  14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.  15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth:  but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.  16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain:  that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.  17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.

(2.)  1st John 4:  18-20, KJV:  18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear:  because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.  19 We love him, because he first loved us.  20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar:  for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

(3.)   John 4:  7-11, KJV:  7 Beloved, let us love one another:  for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.  8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.  9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.  10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.  11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

(4.)  Galatians 5:  19-23, KJV:  19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,  20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,  21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like:  of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.  22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,  23 Meekness, temperance:  against such there is no law.

(5.)  Colossians 3:  12-17, KJV:  12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;  13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any:  even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.  14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.  15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.  16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.  17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (6.)  Romans 13:  7-10, KJV:  7 Render therefore to all their dues:  tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.  8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another:  for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.  9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.  10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour:  therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

(07/26/2017) Divinity Appears Using Form

Today, Incarnation, invisible spirit becoming known as present, and the unchanging existence of GOD are topics.  The fullness of divinity (we say, the GODhead) reveals themselves as 3 separate persons, (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), and as a single active presence who communicates, exchanges, and interacts with and through created beings and living creatures.  Through the Incarnation of divinity in the person of Jesus Christ, such divine tools as angel visitations and miracles would become less relied upon, for often they would foster fear, spiritual confusion, and uncertainty, rather than impart godliness and faith.  The new creation introduced through Messianic covenant and holy blood would include rebirth, endowment of spirit content from the makeup of GOD, forbearance, forgiveness, and reconciliation.  A writer at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Anonymous” (Level 1 with 106 points, a member since December 27, 2016) posted the following:

Do you believe that God has a human form?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers:  all things were created by him, and for him:  And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.  And he is the head of the body, the church:  who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.  For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;  And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.  (Colossians 1:  16-20, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  GOD Revealed As One (07/12/2017); What Can Canvas Show? (07/10/2017); One Complete Divine Revelation (07/09/2017); Redemption Through Ordinary Flesh? “Anonymous”, many mature Christian believers agree that Jesus Christ is an Incarnation (i.e., appearance; manifestation) of GOD using flesh and blood.  Through operations of the spirit content that we receive from the makeup of GOD as created beings and living creatures, and as fresh deposits of spirit content from the makeup of GOD through Jesus Christ, mankind is capable of knowing and responding to the Creator who is immortal, incorruptible, and invisible—even without sense experiences (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching).  “Ordinarily”, GOD exists as a spirit (we also say, breath, life essence, spoken word, utterance) who has no measurable dimensions (e.g., height, size, weight, etc.), yet, has authority, power, and sovereign will whereby he puts forth objects and things that have material or physical form.  Included are animals, angels, mankind, and their diverse spheres of life.

Before the birth of Jesus, divinity had used multiple devices that were audible and visible to communicate with mankind.  However, many of these had created confusion, fear, and doubt, rather than true sacred knowledge.  Included were animals gifted to speak; deliverers (judges) like Deborah, Gideon, and Samson; families, tribes, and kingdoms; Patriarchs like Adam and Noah; prophets like Moses and Samuel; sacred events (we say, miracles); tables of stone written on by the finger of GOD; and angelic visitations.  The ministry of Jesus as the Son of Man and the Son of GOD demonstrates that divinity is far more than an abstract idea from finite mankind, or a product of human imagination.

Christ served on earth in such roles as exorcist, healer, judge, prophet, redeemer, and provider of a new testament in blood between mankind and divinity.  In heaven, the Savior is completing the construction of the Holy City, New Jerusalem.  He will preside over the tribunals of final judgment, will determine the rewards for those who have served while on the earth, and will allot dwellings and portions of the City (inheritances) to those who are “ripe” (mature) that will be taken up when he comes to harvest from the earth those who belong to him (we say, the Advent, the Rapture, the Second Coming).  As the dead are resurrected and the living are lifted to meet him in the air, their transformation to exist as eternal companions of divinity will be completed.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, in heaven, Christ continues to use the image and form of a man from the earth.  The savior also serves in the Temple of heaven as an High Priest who makes atonement for sin, who cleanses the sanctuary by the sprinkling of holy blood, and who purifies the throne of Glory (the Judgment Seat).  Once final judgment and the second death are completed, and the New Jerusalem descends to the earth, there will no longer be death and mortality.  Divinity will live with mankind upon the earth; however, GOD will still be sovereign over all that exists.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

(07/25/2017) The Operations of Sin

Today, focus is on the account of Abel and Cain, and how the exposure of sin pertains to the full revelation of divinity.  Awareness and self-will within created beings and living creatures may be dominated and influenced by sin.  Through Jesus Christ, sinners are being disciplined and trained to make specific godly responses to the operations of sin.  Sin may not be dealt with in a casual manner, and must not be regarded as “harmless” simply because, at one point, it is remote, unexpected, unforeseen, and “unintended.”  For the living to have correct sacred knowledge that is vital to relationships with the Creator, the power of sin over angels and men, and the power of divinity against sin, both must be proclaimed in ways that are graphic and memorable.  Death apart from GOD, and the separation of spirit from body first occurred through an act of murder, and was not in accordance with the laws of sacrifice (where body and spirit are completely consumed together in fire that represents divine judgment), and the return to GOD of his life essence (we also say, breath, spirit, word).  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” who uses the ID “Sally” (Level 6 with 21,037 points, a member since March 26, 2016) posted the following:

Why did Cain lie to The Lord about just murdering his brother in Genesis 4:8? How can this be explained effectively in a way to understand?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be:  but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.  And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.  Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law:  for sin is the transgression of the law.  And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.  Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not:  whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.  Little children, let no man deceive you:  he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.  He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.  Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him:  and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.  In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil:  whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.  For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.  Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous.  (1st John 3:  2-12, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Another Form of Blindness (07/23/2017); Christian Beliefs About Sin (07/20/2017); Becoming Free From Sin (07/16/2017); Warnings Against Forgetting GOD? (02/16/2017); Cain and Genealogy? (11/27/2015); The Power of Death? (10/01/2013); Divine Love Revealed? (10/02/2013); The Common Danger (01/02/2013); The Root of Jesse (01/03/2013)

“Sally”, because sin always appears surrounded by a mix of acceptable attitudes and behavior, sin is often regarded as natural and normal; and sin can not be understood immediately as contrary to divine and human nature.  Special gifts and tools have been provided to help the living correctly recognize and respond to sin (e.g., discernment; sacred law; pain; suffering; the death of Jesus Christ on the cross; the imparted, indwelling Spirit).  Many mature Christian believers agree that the operations and processes of sin should be described as a “pattern of increasing corruption and decay” and a “chain of events” within ones ongoing relationship with GOD, rather than a single, discrete act.  All sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and the divine order of the universe.  Sin is not a living entity having feelings, mind, or self-will; and sin may not be killed and slain.  While the death of a sinner will stop that person from committing further acts offensive to GOD, the consequences and effects of their sins may continue indefinitely, and long after they are dead.  Thus, the “exceeding sinfulness of sin” must be exposed and acknowledged as illogical, mindless, and as promoting chaos, death, desolation, and nonexistence.  The breakdown and rot introduced by sin may first become visible in a sinner’s ignoring, mocking, and rejecting sacred law presented in the form of admonitions, guidance, instruction, prohibitions, and warnings from GOD.  Their gross act of disobedience and violation of the law will be accompanied by such complements as an appetite to continue and repeat the offense, deceit, denial, exaggerated pride, fear of discovery, guilt, lust, lying, and shame.  The knowledge of death provided by GOD was bestowed through the priesthood granted to Adam.  The spirit content of the living was to come into view by the blood, and be transferred to GOD from the holy altar.  When Cain killed and buried his brother, the spirit of Abel was forced to call to GOD being separated from the divine order.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  Romans 7:  12-13, King James Version (KJV):  12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.  13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

(2.)  Romans 5:  17-19, KJV:  17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)  18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.  19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  Revelation 3:  17-21, KJV:  17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:  18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.  19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten:  be zealous therefore, and repent.  20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock:  if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.  21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

(07/24/2017) Obstacles To Developing Believers

Today, ambivalence (being drawn in opposite directions at the same time), double-mindedness, hypocrisy, and self-contradiction displayed by entertainers, individuals, and nations are topics.  Many Christians of all ages seem to feel it is acceptable to behave one way in church, another at home, another in the workplace, another with close friends.  Praise, prayer, listening to sacred music, and even speaking the truth may be portioned out on the basis of “time, place, and who is in attendance,” instead of coming from ones commitment, conviction, and unchanging purpose.  (Like keeping ones word, and holding to promises, perseverance and continuing with purpose are often what provides our deliverance and salvation.)  Inconsistency, instability, and “conduct unbecoming” interrupt the smooth flow of exchange and interaction among the aspects of spirit content, and can promote spiritual confusion among those just beginning to seek their own salvation.  Sinners who come to Jesus Christ must receive divine seed from the makeup of GOD, and then pass through multiple seasons of development and growth.  Among those participating in the modern youth culture, many mistakenly approach life as a new creation through Jesus Christ thinking they are in a process of politicization, social experimentation, or self-mastery, rather than related sacred operations that require one to increasingly yield their inner makeup and substance to GOD.  The sinner who seeks the Lord, is to become a vessel containing inseparable spirit content from the makeup of GOD.  Included are faith, gratitude, holiness, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Ones personal truth is to be understood as having far less value than divine law, doctrine, prophecy, and sacred promise.  Even so, entertainers often rely on compartmentalizing (i.e., emotionally and mentally shutting people and thoughts out; giving expression to certain things only in specific settings), imagining, and pretending to create their persona (familiar characters and patterns), the face they show to the public.  A fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Eve” (Level 1 with 1 point, a member since June 22, 2016) posted the following:

Why do you think some rappers act all religious and praise god and jesus while their music says otherwise and don't have the best messages?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.  But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.  For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.  A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.  (James 1:  5-8, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Becoming Free From Sin (07/16/2017); Discernment, Focus and Meekness? (07/07/2017); Transformation Not Obedience Alone (07/02/2017); What Young People Need? (06/26/2017); Christianity Is Not Mindless (05/02/2017); Becoming A Full Person (02/12/2017); Can A Church Not Be "Religious"? (07/27/2016)

“Eve”, here are some thoughts you might find helpful.  Many today experience the same problems that challenged our first parents in the Garden of Eden.  It is a defining condition, and an inescapable limitation, that created beings and living creatures must concentrate their own awareness, apply their own willpower, and make full use of their multiple endowments and sacred faculties to endure within continuous relationships with one another and with divinity.  Life experience and the operations of GOD provided for the living now include the acknowledgment of divine standards (e.g., sacred law, divine governance, covenant, priesthood); gradual acquisition of complete and correct sacred knowledge through aging, discovery, growth, and maturation as well as independently expressing ones self-will and separation from divinity (we say, self-discipline, self-government) with integrity, respect, and trust as well as without conflict.

For most of us, becoming mature as a Christian believer requires a lifetime of learning, trial and error, correction, renewal, risk-taking, and repentance.  The inborn nature (we say, the flesh) received from Adam and Eve inclines their offspring to seek carnal and material things, secular knowledge, and social companionship only; and does not properly direct mankind to share the oneness without sameness that exists among the three persons of divinity.  All Christians must be “born again”, “grow up again” and become fully transformed to be immortal, incorruptible companions of divinity.  This means enduring “growing pains” and accepting permanent changes in their makeup that will be made through the Spirit of GOD.

Many artists and creative persons who have become prominent and well-known give an appearance of “living double.”  This may be the result of many factors.  Young people often start out having acceptable desires to be accounted as expert, genuine, sincere, and truthful.  Their efforts may become grossly misdirected as they strive to acknowledge and conform to standards within the world system that primarily promote elements that are brief and episodic (such as appetite, feelings, carnal reason, and sense experience).  Young people often are burdened by inner conflicts and issues; however, the same life frustrations may apply to all without regard to age.  Your most heartfelt goals are more difficult to achieve where they are poorly described and expressed where you lack distance and perspective (we say, the big picture; how things are all fitted together), and where you have a limited sense of purpose and value.  Life tends to appear as only combat, disappointment, and pointless struggle where we lack the sense of possibility (we say, a vision, a future, eternal purpose) that comes by the Spirit of GOD.  Deceit, disguise, illusion, and money are repeatedly used by the world (we also say, the culture, fandom, society, the people) that generate a false sense of control—completion, happiness, hope, or success—that does not last.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

(07/23/2017) Another Form of Blindness

Today, reply is on why sacred knowledge and the word of GOD repeatedly focus on the operations of sin.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” who uses the ID “STEVAN” (Level 3 with 2,461 points, a member since October 17, 2007) posted the following:

Why are Christians obsessed with speaking about sinning?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:  old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.  And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;  To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.  Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us:  we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.  For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.  (2nd Corinthians 5:  17-21, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Christian Beliefs About Sin (07/20/2017); Becoming Free From Sin (07/16/2017); Warnings Against Forgetting GOD? (02/16/2017); Become An Anointed Healer (09/04/2016); Sin Must Be Personal (04/29/2016); Sight to the Blind? (07/30/2015); Night Cometh (06/11/2013); Missing Information? (06/12/2013)

STEVAN”, along with ignorance and presumptuousness, the operations of sin in the lives of created beings and living creatures may be described as a form of blindness that can be healed through the ministry of Jesus Christ.  Sin is no material object or spirit substance created by GOD; yet, sin may dominate awareness and self-will within the living.  Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and the entire universe put forth by divinity.  Sin has direction, effect, and presence; however, without the provisions of GOD for discernment and healing (e.g., sacred law, preaching, rebirth), the living fail to correctly recognize and respond to sin in the life as a threat to their own existence.

Many today can not grasp that sin supports only the expression of an animal nature for mankind, and is contrary to the fulfillment of all our truly human and divine potential.  They argue that sin is “natural”, normal, and even, necessary.  Yet, sin can not be eliminated or removed by relying only upon scholarship, secular knowledge, and finite tools such as intellect, logic, carnal reason, critical thinking, philosophy and science.  Increasingly, the campus and the classroom are defiled and profaned by sin.  The elimination of sin requires the various operations performed by divinity.  Included are atonement, judgment, sanctification, and the second death.

The active presence (we also say, breath, life essence, spirit) who is GOD appears, and uses human form (we say, is incarnate) through Christian believers that serve as vessels of his word and his imparted Spirit.  The revelation of GOD that makes divinity knowable, known, and accessible, also exposes the destroying influence and power of sin.  In the same way, Jesus of Nazareth died on the cross as an embodiment of sinners from Israel and all humanity, Jesus also was an embodiment of sin and separation from GOD.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  John 9:  1-7, King James Version (KJV):  1 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.  2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?  3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents:  but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.  4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day:  the night cometh, when no man can work.  5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.  6 When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,  7 And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.

(2.)  Ephesians 4:  17-19, KJV:  17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,  18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:  19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

There is much more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  John 9:  39-41, KJV:  39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.  40 And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?  41 Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin:  but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

(07/21/2017) Spirit Manifest From GOD?

Today, focus is on Incarnation, and the substance from GOD deposited within Jesus Christ that makes him a “son of God.”  What Jesus contains that makes him an offspring to divinity are the inseparable aspects of sacred spirit (e.g., faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, righteousness, wisdom, wrath against sin).  What the Lord contained that made him human on the earth was flesh (e.g., appetite, mind, mortality, sensation, sentiment).  One of the many fighters at “Yahoo! Answers” who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information appears) posted the following:

Christians if jesus is son of god then half of his genetic material should come from god!that means god have dna!!how do you explain this?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,  To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary.  And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee:  blessed art thou among women.  And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.  And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary:  for thou hast found favour with God.  And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.  He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest:  and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:  And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.  Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?  And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee:  therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.  And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age:  and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.  For with God nothing shall be impossible.  (Luke 1:  26-37, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  One Complete Divine Revelation (07/09/2017); Tools For Knowing Divinity (05/12/2017); That GOD Is Immutable (05/04/2017); How Christ Is Known? (04/24/2017); Redemption Through Ordinary Flesh? (04/20/2017); His Birth Signals Rebirth (01/03/2017); His Children Are Sanctified (10/12/2016)

“Anonymous”, your thoughts seem pinned to the academic models describing biological and sexual reproduction that ignore the operations of divinity by centering only on what is carnal, material, secular, and social.  The existence, power and possibilities of spirit substance can not be completely and correctly known while depending upon carnal reason, secular knowledge, and such finite tools as intellect, logic, philosophy, and science.  Many false and inappropriate assumptions are made, and ideas from conjecture and speculation are relied on that have no validity (truth value).

The holy writings actually do provide a language and coherent set of meanings and values that even permit consideration of the full aggregation of spirit substance (we say, the Godhead).  Acknowledging ourselves as made in the image and through the processes of divinity, created beings and living creatures seek communication, exchange, and continuous interactions with divinity (we say, ongoing relationships).  In addition to active presence, authority, balance, completeness, and perfection, divinity is understood as appearing through the use of form and multiple persons (the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit).  In agreement with this, divine law, diverse principles, and sacred standards should come into view that include the living completing mortality; oneness without sameness; sinners receiving imparted spirit content from the makeup of GOD; rebirth, spiritual revival, and regeneration; resurrection from the dead; and the final destruction of sin through the second death.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, 1st Corinthians 2:  9-14, King James Version (KJV):  9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.  10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit:  for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.  11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.  12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.  13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.  14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God:  for they are foolishness unto him:  neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

(07/20/2017) Christian Beliefs About Sin

Today, the principle of oneness without sameness is used to describe sins instead of comparing them on a scale from bad to worse.  Sin is an influence that may dominate awareness and self-will in the living, and that becomes visible as the direction and effect of discrete events, and life experiences.  Correctly understood, only one consequence and effect eventually follows the operations of sin:  dishonor; spiritual confusion; fear of discovery and exposure; guilt; separation from divinity; and the second death.  While sin is not yet removed from the earth, divine gifts and ongoing sacred operations are in place that provide relief and renewal to the living.  Included are atonement, forgiveness, promise, prophecy, rebirth, and reconciliation.  Sinners can receive divine benefits such as oneness of Spirit with those who belong to GOD through Jesus Christ.  In place of sameness developing believers also may experience accord, agreement, balance, completion, diversity, interdependence, mutual support, and shared understanding.  One of the fighters at “Yahoo! Answers” who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

Why do Christians say all sin is the same?

When clearly there are sins worse than other.

Update:  others*

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.  If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:  But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.  If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.  (1st John 1:  5-10, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Becoming Free From Sin (07/16/2017); Thoughts On The Commandments (06/27/2017); Determining What Is Sin (06/15/2017); On Law and Sin (06/07/2017); Corruption of Ones Spirit? (05/14/2017); The Fullness of GODhead? (01/09/2014); World Without End? (01/10/2014)

“Anonymous”, for the followers of Jesus Christ, guidance and instruction regarding sin are shared on multiple levels.  Divinity must be acknowledged as the origin of existence, of specific life processes and purposes as well as a living entity who displays authority and sovereign will.  As when speaking of the complete fullness of active presence that Christian believers acknowledge as a single “divine person” (we say, the GODhead, Father, Son and Holy Spirit), the principle of oneness without sameness also comes into use when speaking of sin.  Because GOD is a spirit, and being in a continuous relationship with divinity requires more than carnal, material, secular, and social understandings, mature Christian beliefs about sin center on being in covenant and sacred exchange through praise, prayer, divine proclamation (we also say, commandment, law), the fresh endowment of imparted spirit content from the makeup of GOD (we also say, breath, life essence, word), promise, and prophecy.

Sin is not to be dealt with always on the basis of attitudes, behavior, and conduct so much as in terms of its character, nature, and substance that may dominate awareness and self-will within created beings and living creatures.  The operations of sin oppose the continued existence of divine law (i.e., the expressed will of GOD), the Law Giver, and all divine order that appears throughout the universe.  Sin is no object or thing having measurable dimensions or spirit substance from GOD, yet, sin has direction, effect, and presence.  Sin is not rational and selective; and sin promotes nonexistence and the return to conditions in place before the foundation of heaven and earth.

The will of GOD is not subject to sin.  Neither the ministry of Jesus Christ on the earth nor from the heaven as Risen Lord have yet eliminated sin.  Even so, the living may receive fresh endowments of spirit content from the makeup of GOD that permit increased commitment, discernment, and discovery of Deity as well as exposure of and renewed resistance against sin.  Inseparable aspects from the makeup of GOD are imparted including faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Leviticus 5:  15-19, King James Version (KJV):  15 If a soul commit a trespass, and sin through ignorance, in the holy things of the LORD; then he shall bring for his trespass unto the LORD a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with thy estimation by shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering.  16 And he shall make amends for the harm that he hath done in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and it shall be forgiven him.  17 And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the LORD; though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.  18 And he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy estimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest:  and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his ignorance wherein he erred and wist it not, and it shall be forgiven him.  19 It is a trespass offering:  he hath certainly trespassed against the LORD.

(2.)  1st John 3:  4-10, KJV:  4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law:  for sin is the transgression of the law.  5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.  6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not:  whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.  7 Little children, let no man deceive you:  he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.  8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.  9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him:  and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.  10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil:  whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

(3.)  Romans 14:  19-23, KJV:  19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.  20 For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.  21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.  22 Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.  23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith:  for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  1st John 5:  16-20, KJV:  16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death:  I do not say that he shall pray for it.  17 All unrighteousness is sin:  and there is a sin not unto death.  18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.  19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.  20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
