Rules used when presenting certain words within the Scriptures come into view, today.  Also, there is more on salvation as conditional.  A writer at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Mtatikas” (Level 1 with 120 points, a member since June 09, 2013) posted the following:

THE BATTLE AXE:  Salvation is Conditional? (01/30/2014)—(5.)  Even common sense tells us that doing what you believe to be right is only effective and useful when what you believe actually is right.  More than this, believing what is right has no benefit unless one consistently performs, and practices what they believe is right without breakdowns in self-discipline, contradictions, lapses, and reversals.  Saying this another way:  Without faith and all the other inseparable aspects of divinity (such as holiness, wisdom, and wrath against sin), it is impossible to please GOD, or obtain the full benefit of redemption and salvation that is being provided through the Son of the Highest, Jesus Christ.  Among those who are simple (i.e., gullible, immature, impulsive, naïve, underdeveloped, unpredictable, unstable) and young, displays of defiance, rebellion and stubbornness against GOD often create acceptable illusions of accomplishment, authority, freedom, maturity, power, self-sufficiency, and strength.  However, where such counterfeits and errors appear, genuine communion, devotion, fellowship, godliness, growth, learning, respect, reverence, and true worship become cut off and defiled.  Many will not question the source for what they understand as their own special way of being alive, and being who they are.  However, it remains, “courage from a bottle” does not have the same results in judgment as “holy boldness” received through the divine love of Christ.  See Romans 9:  14-16, Romans 9:  30-33, Titus 3:  1-11, Hebrews 10:  19-22, Hebrews 11:  6, James 2:  10-20, James 2:  26 and 1 John 4:  16-18, KJV.

“Mtatikas”, here are a few points to consider that may help:

(1.)  Throughout the King James Version (KJV) and many other (yet, not all) presentations of the holy writings, there are several words that appear having two spellings, one with its initial letter shown in lower-case, and a second spelling having an initial capital letter (e.g.,  holy, Holy, jealous, Jealous, spirit, and Spirit).  When a spelling with initial capital appears the usage may be as a name, or a reference to a divine person who is a permanent presence within the full GODhead.  The lower-case usage for “spirit” is often a reference to what we call the animal aspects, and human nature within mankind. 

(2.)  Imparted “spirit” that was breathed into mankind from GOD in Creation is often called the breath of life, life essence, and the spark of life.  On the one hand, it is the same divine substance that is granted to believers in Jesus through baptism (called, their death and rebirth, or their being born again from divine DNA).  On the other hand, it is a deposit of the spirit content that operated within Jesus Christ.

(3.)  The spiritual “gifts” from the Holy Spirit (such as healing, prophecy, and speaking in tongues) are also spoken of as “spirit”, and are not a person of the GODhead.  Ability, authority, license, skills and talents may be established within believers for purposes of their ministry and service to the Gospel.  Spirit that has been sent as an anointing, and endowment that resides within mankind can never be the full Divine Person also called the Holy Ghost, the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Prophecy, and the Spirit of Truth.

There is far more to be said, properly shared, and spiritually understood.  (For example, (4.)  In general, modern editors and publishers have discontinued use of capital letters for pronouns referring to divinity.  Thus, we see less and less use of “He” and “Him”.  The use of a capital letter is applied to proper nouns (e.g., the Bible), and reserved for direct address.  Descriptive use (as an adjective) is to be lower-case (e.g., bible-based).  Thus, “holy ground” continues among Christian believers as common ground, yet, an area set apart for divine use (we say, sanctified); and the “Holy One” always is used to acknowledge the awesomeness of GOD, and to show respect to divine sovereignty as though within the active presence and speaking directly to the Most High.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Addiction and alcoholism are used considering salvation, today.  Also, there is more on entering covenant and having genuine relationship with GOD.  A writer at “Yahoo! If jesus did for all our sins,how can god then put conditions on that sacrifice.he either died for all or not?

apostle ..sin is sin ...are you saying that god sent his son just for the people he thought deserved saved...that you cant change your ways...and even if you did ..you still get refused because of past sins before you came to christs teaching...is that what you are saying


THE BATTLE AXE:  Covenants and Relationships (01/29/2014)—(5.)  There are many peculiar names and phrases to describe the truth that mankind is to exist as a companion to immortal, incorruptible GOD.  Included are children of GOD, eternal life, oneness, new creatures, and vessels of the Holy Spirit.   What Christian believers receive as the record of divine actions that have occurred in heaven and upon the earth on behalf of mankind (the Bible), documents multiple divine interventions, sacred events, and ongoing processes that are making permanent changes in created beings and living creatures.  Mankind is being transformed by divinity to continue its existence as “everlasting.”  Examples and portrayals are provided that depict such elements as awe, decisiveness, humility, incorruption and reverence as well as right relationship taught through apostles, disciples, spokespersons (we say, prophets), faithful stewards, and trustworthy witnesses.  Almighty GOD always will have authority, dominion, glory and sovereignty above all throughout the spheres of existence.  Mankind is to continue in communion with GOD, yet, will never be in sameness as an equal or peer to GOD.  See 1st Timothy 6:  12-16, 2nd Timothy 2:  19-26 and Revelation 2:  10-11, KJV.

“badwolf”, here are a few points to consider that are shared in the forms of analogy and “parable” that breaks it down for those who are not Christian believers:

(1.)  Salvation that is atonement and propitiation for sins by the shed blood and broken body of Jesus Christ compares to a long-time alcoholic being granted a lifetime supply of milk at no cost.  He (or she) is accountable for their choices to drink milk instead of liquor, and vice versa.  The milk itself does not accomplish a permanent change in attitudes, behavior and conduct so much as does the exercise of faith, godliness, intelligence, and focused self-will.

(2.)  Given that alcoholism and other forms of addiction are self-destructive, interventions by family members and concerned others are only labeled as “oppression” due to immaturity, sickness, and warped understanding.  Atheism and sin are similarly suicidal, for both oppose the operations of divine law, the continued existence of GOD, and all possibility for permanent benefit to the aspects of divine Creation.  The exercise of divine authority in judgment is not a violation of divine love, or of rights and privileges for created beings and living creatures.  Saying this another way:  According to intellect, logic, reason and science, it is stupidity to suggest that “GOD” (meaning the one sovereign, supreme and above all others) can be denied authority and prerogative by those beneath him.

(3.)  Alcoholism (also called “Jellinek’s Disease”) is so difficult to remove because the metabolism and physiology of the patient’s body must be changed, and restored, not simply their diet, their habits, and their knowledge.  Similarly, for salvation, one must be born again from divine DNA, so to speak.  Through baptism provided by the ministries of Jesus Christ, there can be a fresh endowment of divinity.  Included are such inseparable aspects of sacred content as faith, forgiveness, gratitude, holiness, joy, longsuffering (we say, endurance), truthfulness, wisdom, wrath against sin, and zeal.

(01/28/2014)—Often the language in Scripture that reports GOD appearing to a man upon the earth must be understood as saying that a person (e.g., Abraham, Jacob, Solomon, Isaiah) had a simple experience (e.g., a dream, a trance, a vision) wherein they suddenly became overwhelmed by, and were able to mentally, physically and spiritually grasp their own awareness of GOD.  While they were permitted to hear and see incarnations, representations, and visions from GOD (e.g., the burning bush, the ladder from earth to heaven, the pillar of cloud by day and fire by night), the person did not look upon or see Almighty GOD who exists entirely as spirit.  GOD delivered the Ten Commandments “face to face” to the entire multitude who gathered with Moses at Sinai; and later appeared to a gathering of elders who would be endowed with a portion of the Spirit of Prophecy that resided within Moses.  At no time did GOD project an image, a likeness, or a similitude of created beings and things that could be copied or used as ones personal idol in private worship.  Being in personal relationship with GOD therefore meant maintaining continuous obedience and recognition of sacred law.  Also, thorough knowledge and adherence to the public commandments and judgments also would be acknowledgment of the active presence of divinity.  By the ministry of Jesus Christ, incarnation, judgments, law, prophecy, and more are brought together by baptism (we say, death and rebirth).  Believers all receive a fresh endowment of the Spirit imparted to indwell mankind at Creation.  It is this Spirit from GOD that amplifies and maintains their experience of divine presence, communion and fellowship with GOD.  See Deuteronomy 5:  4, Deuteronomy 4:  11-13, Exodus 24:  9-11, Numbers 11:  24-29, Numbers 12:  8, Hosea 12:  10, 1st Corinthians 6:  19-20, Romans 8:  15-17 and 1st John 4:  12-13, KJV.

“Smiley”, here are a few points to consider that are important for Christian belief:

(1.)  Covenant relationship and priesthood for mankind with divinity was first established in Adam (the single name given by GOD to the male and female that had been created).  GOD affirmed the expression of faith displayed by the pair following the judgment against sin that had been pronounced upon the serpent.  Adam hoped (i.e., expected) and trusted that GOD would bring to pass as a benefit for mankind all that was spoken against the deceiver.  See Genesis 3:  14-15, King James Version.

(2.)  In the Garden of Eden, Adam lost mankind’s initial status in relationship as one existing in favor only because newly created of GOD.  Obedience by the pair was to emerge through acceptance, interaction, respect, and trust, rather than full knowledge of divine law, sacred process and eternal purpose.  See 1st Timothy 2:  13-15, KJV.

(3.)  Rightly understood, every covenant that appears in the Bible (for example, with Abraham, Noah, Moses, David, and Jesus Christ) may be seen as only a “contract modification”, or further development of the things first proclaimed by GOD as provisions for continuing all created beings and living creatures despite the appearance of sin through the serpent.  See Jeremiah 31:  31-37 and Ephesians 2:  11-22, KJV.

“Evol ruoY”, here are a few points many Christian believers take into account when considering Moses, and their own opportunities to have place as the children of GOD:

(1.)  Moses was flawed and imperfect in many ways:  he had a speech impediment (stuttering); he was impulsive, and often acted without first seeking the advice of others, or carefully weighing the consequences of his words and actions; and Moses was not always able to control his temper.  From the men of fighting age who formed the army of Israel created out of the multitude that left Egypt, only two actually arrived into the Promised Land (Joshua and Caleb).  Moses was only privileged to “see” the land, and was not permitted to claim a home there, because he “forgot GOD” during an angry outburst against those who had provoked Moses by their complaining.

(2.)  Moses was specially acknowledged by GOD on the basis of his meekness (we might say, he was coach-able, or because of his willingness to learn spiritual things through spiritual events and spiritual processes).  It is written:  Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.  (Numbers 12:  3, KJV)  Like the hard and weighty metal gold, Moses is precious and valuable, because Moses is pliable.  Moses is polished and used to shine light on what is otherwise invisible:  judgment, law, mercy, repentance, piety, sanctification, and zeal.

(3.)  Intimate and personal relationship with GOD as described for Abraham, Moses, and Jesus Christ is more a “heart to heart” bond than a “face to face” interaction.  GOD is a spirit who has emanated and put forth created beings, living creatures, and material objects.  GOD is “discovered” (we say, made known, revealed) through imparted spirit content (we may say, divine DNA) that generates awareness, existence, and person.  With this correctly in view, the closeness between GOD and Moses appears through such aspects as access to divine presence, faithfulness, forbearance, forgiveness, humility, receptiveness, and unselfishness.


There is far more to be said, properly shared, and spiritually understood.  (For example, (4.)  Modern-day believers all have access to divinity and are in the presence of GOD through contemplation, giving, praise, prayer, unselfish service, witness, worship, and the presence of Christ as our High Priest.  Through the ministry of Jesus Christ, the eternal authority and sovereign power of  GOD prepare believers to be used as instruments having measurable dimensions and physical form, and thereby, divine person and Spirit are continually made to appear as also carnal and material.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Praise is the topic, today; and there is more on Bible justice.  A “Yahoo! Answers” writer using the ID “KL” (Level 6 with 18,333 points, a member since 2007) posted the following six years ago with 3,716 responses:

THE BATTLE AXE:  Bible Justice? (01/26/2014)—Many want to speak about law and punishment as they appear in the holy writings; however, they tend to consider things only in a surface way, and they do not go deep enough and far enough by either their abstract, or their overly emotional understandings.  Such must realize that ancient prohibitions and sanctions once maintained through inheritance and traditions derived from the letter of divine law are now legitimately altered by the ministries of Jesus Christ through new covenant, and through the further operations of GOD by his imparted, indwelling Spirit.  The purpose of sacred law as an incarnation of GOD, as a primary tool for created beings and living creatures to identify and resist sin, and as the expression of divine pleasure or displeasure remains unchanged.    The unavoidable extremes of justice that include banishment, death, disfellowship, exile, impoverishment (confiscation), irreversible destruction, and perdition will always appear as cruel, harsh, and unloving to those lacking the divine perspective that acknowledges responsibility for the entire universe and all that it contains.  Spoken another way:  Only those experiencing the challenges and duties of divine love will completely grasp the immensity of godly judgment and justice.  See Romans 1:  18-32, Ezekiel 18:  20-24 and Ezekiel, Jeremiah 9:  23-25, Philippians 3:  7-14 and Jude 1:  14-23, King James Version.

“KL”, here are a few points to consider that have repeatedly shielded Christian believers against spiritual confusion:

(1.)  GOD is a spirit, and the “ingredients” or makeup of GOD are  entirely of inseparable, unchanging spirit substances that interact generating continuous emanation (many say, radiance) and motion.  Thus, where you find one you find them all.  Included are such aspects as awareness, existence, faith, holiness, gratitude, joy, life, longsuffering (we say, endurance), love, person, potency, presence, truthfulness, sorrow, wisdom, wrath against sin, and zeal.

(2.)  GOD appears, becomes “visible,” and is known to be active and present throughout the  universe by using multiple devices and mechanisms.  Among them are created beings and living creatures, covenant relationship, incarnation, judgment, sacred events (we say, miracles), eternal purpose, and utterance (such as blessings, curses, prayer, praise, proclamation, promise, prophecy and sacred song).  The revelation of GOD to Creation also includes the imparting of divine substance to material objects and the living such that they portray aspects of divinity by their character, form, function, nature, and operation.

(3.)  Praise is not always audible or verbal, and may include contemplation, dance, music, offering (material gifts), and sacrifice (i.e., life essence conveyed by blood, service and worship).  Praise only appears by the operation of ones spirit content, and is both an evidence of things unseen, and a response to things invisible.  Containing breath (spirit) from GOD and divine substance, the living offer praise as the display of their deposit of divinity and glory.

Why don't Christians stone people to death for sinning when the bible tells them to?

Why don't Christians stone people for being gay or working on Sunday. Surely they are disobeying god by not doing it?


THE BATTLE AXE:  What Salvation Is (01/25/2014)—Where deliverance may be thought of as assistance from GOD when there is physical danger, help during an emergency, release from bondage, or rescue, salvation is intervention and liberation by GOD from spiritual conditions that restrict fellowship and communion with the Almighty.  Included are confusion, deception, defilement, disorder, ignorance, presumption, pride, sin, uncleanness, and wickedness.  The removal of sin with all its damage and ill effects require operations on a cosmic scale that would devastate divine order throughout the universe.  Through GOD and Jesus Christ multiple divine acts and sacred events are being completed that alter and transform, yet, continue and protect the foundations of existence.  See Genesis 45:  4-11, Numbers 10:  9, Isaiah 30:  8-21, Jonah 2:  8-9, Ephesians 8:  9, James 1:  20-22 and Jude 1:  5, KJV.

“Antifa”, the first and most important work for many Christian believers is the acknowledgment of divine love, and the cementing of a right relationship with GOD by focus upon sacred truth as reported through the Bible and sacred practice as experienced in praise, prayer, study, unselfish service and worship.  Once born again having spirit substance from GOD (divine DNA so to speak), believers must learn and mature again meeting the same challenges and possibilities that all others encounter while on the earth.

Like Creation, Incarnation, Redemption, and Salvation, divine Judgment is accomplished by multiple operations of divinity.  As carnal, finite and material expressions of godly will, created beings and living creatures may participate in these sacred events, however, they must meet high standards and strict criteria addressing such elements as covenant promise, divine law, humility, impartiality, their own innocence, sacred proclamations, prophecy, their own purity, righteousness, sanctity, and zeal.

When asked his opinion for a case that had just been decided by those who were escorting a woman caught in the act of adultery to execution by stoning, Jesus taught a much repeated, yet continually misunderstood principle for judgment:  Let he who is without sin cast the first stone (see John 8:  1-11, KJV).  Judgment is not to be condemned, despised, held to be a bad thing, or regarded as oppression.  Instead, judgment must be godly, lawful and righteous in all its aspects and phases.

THE BATTLE AXE:  Mankind Destroyed? (01/24/2014)—The blessing of divine judgment is intended to resolve all destructive conflicts, and settle the many recurring disputes among created beings and living creatures by an authoritative application of sacred law, by an undeniable demonstration of divine righteousness, and a full revelation of the invisible persons of GOD.  Beings who have refused the divine provisions that correct the damage generated through the operations of sin have already lost the divine content that permits eternal existence with GOD.  Because they are no longer truly angels, no longer truly human, no longer truly sacred beasts, many who once were expressions of divine being and sovereign will have become forms and objects that are no more than fiends, monsters, and rubbish that must be destroyed.  Had they a balanced and complete residue of divinity that is eternal, those once holy and righteous could never be destroyed.  See Matthew 25:  29-46, Revelation 2:  11 and Revelation 20:  13-15, KJV.

“valerie”, a Christian believer’s explanation of divine salvation for sinners cannot be separated from their conversation about divine love, eternal life, and continuous fellowship with GOD in intimacy and close personal relationship.  There is so much to take into consideration that most believer’s simply say, you must be born again, and undergo changes in attitude, comprehension, disposition, and orientation.  Only then can it be clearly understood that Salvation appears among mankind as a set of divine operations and sacred events intended to fulfill the eternal purposes of GOD.  Just as salvation does not remove duty, godliness, or truth, salvation does not erase accountability.

Mankind has had to operate accepting many conditions for life such as birth, death, time, space, and the earth as our sphere of existence.  In the same way we seek to expand the finite limits upon our emotional, mental, physical and psychological person, we also seek to expand the many limits upon our spirit content.  Sin is a major barrier to our achieving full maturity, and being able to experience all the richness of life.  Sin opposes the existence of divine law, of GOD as the law giver, and of all that GOD has put forth as Creation.  Sin has become a fixed obstacle to experience for all created beings and living creatures, and cannot be eliminated through human imagination, logic, reason, romance, science or technology.

There is far more to be said, properly shared, and spiritually understood.  (For example, sin operates as an influence upon awareness and self-will.  As a result, sin does not appear as foreign, as an outside force, or as something strange.  Sin appears as normal, natural, and an acceptable aspect of oneself.  Often, like the back of our own head, others will know or see our faults and sins before we ourselves do.  Divine law allows us to recognize the awful action and consequences of sin; however, law has not eliminated sin.  Through the ministry of Jesus, believers receive a fresh endowment of divine Spirit that enables resistance to sin.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

(10/15/2010)]—The use of clothing began with mankind’s use of leaves as aprons.  Through a perversion [i.e., turning away from truth; applying sacred objects and truths to profane, and secular purpose], the pair associated themselves with trees rather than animals or created beings, and sought to be covered and hidden through “rootedness” [i.e., inactivity, silence, stillness].  In place of leaves, GOD supplied Adam and Eve with a physical covering of sheepskin through the sacrifice of a living creature that still held its sacred content in innocence, a lamb.  The pair also required a “covering” for their minds.  Thus, the divinely prepared clothing was to serve as a memorial to the lamb that was slain, and a prophetic foreshadowing of Christ, the Messiah.  Thereafter, each time they looked on one another the pair was to be reminded of (1) the difference from their former status, (2) the difference in their accountability as female and male, and (3) that the divine person is revealed in judgment, just as GOD would see the blood and spirit-covering of Jesus eternally when looking upon the believers among fallen mankind.

“Carl”, mankind will never be destroyed or terminated by Almighty GOD; and even today, humanity is being altered and permanently changed through the ministry of Jesus Christ to exist forever with GOD.  Here are a few points shared with Christians believers through the Bible:

(1.)  Satan is called the “accuser of the brethren,” and is thought to control and rule Death.  However, all the wicked who have ever lived will be raised from the dead to appear before Christ in a separate judgment after Satan has been cast into the lake of fire.  As judge, Jesus will not accuse any from the earth, nor will holy angels, demons, devils, or other men.  Each person must appear to answer the witness of their deeds recorded in the Books of Life.  Each person’s own life will be their only accuser.

(2.)  Jesus will come to harvest the earth of all those who have accepted, participated in, and responded to his divine authority, sacred messages, and eternal purposes.  Called the “Advent,” the “second coming,” and “the Rapture”, this sacred event is also called the “first resurrection,” because it will include the quick (many who are alive at that time), and the dead (who may have been in their graves for many ages).

(3.)  Because now the earth we are living upon is polluted with blood and sin, the believers must meet Christ “in the air.”  As they are taken up, they will be made immortal and incorruptible (i.e., no longer vulnerable to decay, defilement and sin).  The consecrated and sanctified Savior will not set foot upon the earth until the earth and heavens are made new.

“ebenezer”, often in present-day assemblies and congregations there is an acceptance of casual dress and “street clothing” at church gatherings in order to place emphasis upon inward learning and growth, rather than upon outward and surface appearances.  Here are a few points from Scripture you may find useful:

(1.)  What a person wears may set them apart (we say, prepare and sanctify them) for holy service; and their apparel when they approach GOD in worship communicates intent, respect and the content of their spirit (such as faith, gratitude, holiness, humility, joy, wisdom, wrath against sin, and zeal).  Thus, it is written:  And take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office, even Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons.  And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty.  And thou shalt speak unto all that are wise hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron’s garments to consecrate him, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office (Exodus 28:  1-3, KJV).

(2.)  They shall have linen bonnets upon their heads, and shall have linen breeches upon their loins; they shall not gird themselves with any thing that causeth sweat.  And when they go forth into the utter court, even into the utter court to the people, they shall put off their garments wherein they ministered, and lay them in the holy chambers, and they shall put on other garments; and they shall not sanctify the people with their garments.  Neither shall they shave their heads, nor suffer their locks to grow long; they shall only poll their heads.  (Ezekiel 44:  18-20, KJV)

Presumption is acting with unfounded confidence; assuming authority or privilege without concession or consent by others; taking to oneself the identity and  resources of another without permission (i.e., stealing).  The statement, “I never knew you,” is made in sacred judgment to those who presume upon GOD, and the servants of GOD.  Believers are admonished, cautioned, and exhorted [i.e., further energized to be alert; roused to action; urged on] by this statement.  The wicked, the unrighteous, and all unbelievers, are condemned and consigned to perdition, the second death, by this statement.

To be known of GOD is not the same as knowing about GOD.  Having information to describe divine acts, divine attributes, divine intent, or divine names is not the same as containing divine substance that would allow one to be recognized in sacred judgment as having proceeded forth from GOD.  The Scripture speaks to this point in many ways, including the language that says men must receive the mark of GOD, be sealed in their spirit, and be covered by the blood of the Lamb.

Nudity, and the human condition as fallen is brought into discussion, again.  The writer “Joe M” at “Yahoo! Answers” posted the following:

If God made us nude, why should we wear clothes except on cold days? God must think we are crazy !?


THE BATTLE AXE:  Appetite (10/14/2010)—While appetite and arousal are undercurrents in all sexual activity, sexual joining (even by holding hands, or a kiss on the cheek--oral sex) is never simply a mechanical, and physical act.  Sexual encounters all are marked by emotional, intellectual, psychological and spiritual elements as well.  The complete mix may include errors in judgment, false expectations, fantasies, and overwhelming visceral stimulation.  From this, we have the idea that sexual activity is complex, dangerous, risky, and unpredictable.  In the same way all men and women are born with the kinesthetic sense we call “a fear of falling,” also all are born with a fear of sexuality.  (In learning to walk we suppress, and never fully overcome or remove the fear of falling.  Rightly understood, we go forward when walking by repeatedly falling, catching ourselves, and rebalancing.  As a result, our maturity is marked by the quickness and smoothness of our movement, and the continuous control of our fear.)  There is actually little human control, and outcomes of full sexual intercourse are never the same twice:  depression, discontent, disease, pain, pregnancy, shared satisfaction.  Knowing sex is unpredictable, mature persons seek to caution, counsel, instruct, and shield those who are ignorant, immature, inexperienced, underdeveloped, and vulnerable.

Many mature Christian believers have been blessed to receive the following truths:

GOD fully understands and correctly values the devastating blow to mankind and all Creation that has resulted from disobedience, and sin.  The human condition was never intended to display the many consequences of sin that now are customarily seen and experienced.  By eating the forbidden fruit, and transgressing the direct commandment of GOD, the human will introduced unforeseen and unintended elements.  Included were corruption, decay, doubt, fear, forgetting, evasiveness [i.e., seeking to disguise ones feelings and thoughts from close contacts], iniquity [i.e., imbalance, inequality], pain, self-destruction, and shame.  Sin is subject to neither human nor divine will; and just as GOD does not cause or generate sin, GOD is not the source for such products from sin as anger, bereavement, bitterness, depression, despair, insanity, murder, stress, or suicidal tendencies.

The original spiritual endowment for Adam [i.e., the name given by GOD to both the male and female] provided an aura, a light, that served as the outward covering for the pair.  Acceptance, beauty, grace, joy, and love within radiated, and shimmered about the pair through their communion and contact with GOD.  Until the woman was deceived and the male chose to join her by rebellion, there was no need for physical coverings against the climate or weather.  Once their sin came before GOD [i.e., judgment—resolution of conflict; settlement of dispute], re-valuing of human spirit-content and the earth as mankind’s environment became vital to their survival.  Thus, the Scripture teaches GOD cursed the earth “for their sakes,” not the destruction of mankind.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, the sentence of death was passed upon mankind, however, Adam and other of the patriarchs are recorded as having lived for more than nine-hundred fifty years (almost one millennium, a thousand years)!  Without air pollution from automobiles, water pollution from litter and dead batteries, or diet and health issues from pesticides used on fruits and vegetables, the natural course of physical human life still continued to be on a high level.  More than this, at a time when there were no books, broadcast media, and other communications technology, the experiential knowledge of GOD continued on the earth through the device of human vessels [i.e., the priesthood].)   Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, divine and human “free will” are in discussion.  The writer “redwire” posted the following at “Yahoo! Answers:”


If god has free will can god sin?


if god is perfect it is reasonable to assume he cant create anything imperfectly. (perfect as in cant be better) so if we can sin because we have free will, why cant god?if he has an automatic good nature that prevents it, why dont we?

THE BATTLE AXE:  What is Worship? (10/18/2010)—Sin makes it that all existence and life are continually at risk.  To avoid, defy, disobey, forget, hide from, ignore, provoke, refuse, reject, tempt or withhold truth from GOD is sin.  Worship acknowledges and affirms (1) the existence of divine person, (2) invokes or calls the divine into presence, (3) responds to divine actions or sacred utterance (including proclamation, promise and prophecy) with obeisance, praise, supplication and thanksgiving, and (4) supplies experiences of ecstasy and transcendence wherein believers are themselves joined to the divine person.  It is by joining ones spirit to GOD through worship that a person receives cleansing, healing, inner peace, sacred knowledge and strength—the same certainty, peace and wholeness that abides within the divine person.  Because idols lack divine person, divine power, and divine substance, the worship of idols is accounted as false and vain [i.e., empty, fruitless, unfulfilling].  In Scripture, where dead, inanimate, manmade, unfeeling objects are used to picture and portray divine beings, they are called idols, images, likenesses, similitudes, and vanities.  (Examples are carvings, buildings, and statues.)  Living creatures, including human children and adults may be worshiped as chosen objects, and substitutions for divine persons; however, these too lack the full character of one divine.  Effective worship must be heartfelt, and in accordance with the intent, nature, purposes and will of GOD.  Worship, like love, is heartfelt to the extent one demands it of oneself, gives full expression to their own integrity, and totally embraces unity with the divine.


THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.  For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.  For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:  That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;  Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:  That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter:  because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.  For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.  He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.  (1st Thessalonians 4:  1-8)

Many perfect [i.e., complete, balanced, mature, stable] Christian believers understand human will is not “free” under the influence of sin; and there is no such thing as “free will.”  Instead there is rebellion, rejection, submitted will, or there is yielded will, where one is directed to operate in the consciousness of divine purpose as expressed through law [i.e., the revealed will of GOD], through divine utterance [i.e., the word of GOD; proclamation, promise, prophecy], or through promptings from the imparted, indwelling Spirit of GOD.

All men are born having will; and will continues—like the appetite, the ears, the eyes, the hands, the knee caps—from cradle to grave as an aspect of ones full person.  Along with pain from the acid on their skin once they have wet their diaper, a baby cries by an act of will.  Just as one gradually acquires the ability to say “mama” or “dada” after multiple repetitions, and becomes toilet trained, the will is trained to be focused and efficient through gradual development. The undisciplined will cannot generate endurance, patience or self-restraint.
The kingdom of GOD is not the “land of do as you please;” rather, it is the land of “first, do what pleases GOD.”  All who are in right relationship with GOD are responding to (1) compelling truth, (2) the force of repentance that is generated by the Holy Spirit, and (3) their own inward demands for self-discipline, self-regimen, and self-respect.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, GOD exists as a unique being by virtue of the unique sacred will.  GOD does not violate the divine person as men debase, pollute and violate themselves, and one another.  Thus, GOD remains, holy, pure, sanctified, and undefiled.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

What or who may receive worship is the focus of today’s question from “Yahoo! Answers.”  A writer using the screen name “royy c” posted the following:


What is worship? Could it be more than acknowledging a supernatural power?


Many still think it has to be to a deity.

Do you think people can worship things, places or people around them? Or is that, to you, a re-definition of the word , "worship"? Or has this always been what worship means?


THE BATTLE AXE:  Meek Abram (10/17/2010)—Despite the promise of GOD that he would receive a permanent homeland, Abram lived and died as a nomad.  Before his death, Abram ministered to others everywhere he traveled.  In addition to digging and leaving an inheritance of life-giving wells of water, Abram built altars that served as monuments to the one, true GOD.  Abram commanded a community of over 300 servants in covenant with GOD, who worshiped in obedience, and were a role-model to the surrounding nations.

You are correct in thinking that human beings direct themselves in worship to a broad range of forces and objects.  In addition to drawings (on cave walls), totems, and other man-made pieces used to represent the whole of unseen influences (called “false gods” and “idols” in Scripture), men have mistakenly worshipped such elements as the wind, the rain, the sun, moon and stars, birth, death, fertility, other living creatures, science, and wisdom.

For mature believers, the worship of GOD and Christ appears to emerge from interaction of (1) awareness of divine substance [e.g., faith, grace, holiness, humility, life, love, wrath against sin], and (2) self-awareness [i.e., a correct consciousness of ones capabilities, limitations, spirit nature, strengths, and weaknesses].  Because the fullness of collective and individual being come into expression, worship is at once emotional, intellectual, psychological, and spiritual.


One who worships experiences continuing and repeated discernment, and recognition of the same spirit content existing in others, and within the Greater Divine, that resides within oneself.  Without customs, rituals and traditions developed over long periods, worship is the simple acknowledgment of the Holy through acts of being.  Interactive and social behavior to express worship may not include celebration, church attendance, a music ministry featuring a one-hundred men’s or woman’s choir, “pomp and circumstance.”  Instead, worship may center in childbearing, fasting and other forms of self-denial, forbearance in judgment, giving, humility, obedience, prayer, respect, sharing, trust, and truth-speaking.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, discernment and recognition vital to Christian worship occurs only by the active presence of the imparted, indwelling Spirit from GOD.  A man or woman must be re-born, as it were, possessing divine DNA.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
