(03/31/2020) Endure Trials Through Faith

Today, reply is on continuing to express faith as the response Christian believers are to make against the current threats of the covid-19 pandemic. Faith and the many other spirit gifts from GOD do not influence and manipulate human circumstances, events, and conditions so much as they interact and operate to transform the content of human consciousness and self-will. The imbalance, infirmity and weakness among men require responses by divinity that will build up, edify, and nourish the spirit power and substance within the living. Inheritance and mortality were two of the divine devices fashioned from love and mercy that were used to circumvent immediately executing the sentence of death for transgression (i.e., the annihilation of mankind). By these, the process of GOD is revealed to be one like that a smith uses when making objects of metal. The finished product is hardened, tempered, and given its permanent strength first by hammering, then by heating in fire, and then by dousing in cold water. It is written: Hebrews 11: 32-40, King James Version (KJV): 32 And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: 33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions. 34 Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. 35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: 36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: 37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; 38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. 39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: 40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile data shown) posted the following:

What would Jesus do in the current COVID-19 pandemic?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8: 28-31, KJV)

(12/28/2018)

Anonymous”, among Christians, our best answers to calamity, catastrophe, uncertainty, and upheaval must continue to express the faith we ourselves have received from GOD, and that we are to minister to others. The current focus that death and destruction will overspread the earth because of covid-19 expresses our human concern for the features of life that pertain to the flesh (e.g., appetite, sensation, emotion), and does not also address the features of life that pertain to the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ carried out a ministry among men on the earth that addressed the process and substance of the Spirit from GOD that exists within comfort and forgiveness from divinity, divine law, prophecy, unselfish service, and godly suffering. Mankind has been in a continuing condition of mortality since the fall of Adam. By divine dispensation, the sanction of death against transgression that came upon mankind in the fall of Adam is delayed and postponed to appear as the second death that will follow final judgment. Multiple sacred operations also have been created to continue the existence of mankind as a companion to immortal, incorruptible, invisible divinity. Included are adoption, glorification, justification, redemption, resurrection from the dead, salvation, and sanctification.

Mature Christian believers agree that divinity appeared in the earth using human form and life process as Jesus Christ (the Son of Man) to continue the priesthood granted to Adam that was modeled after the sacred observances in heaven. As the Son of GOD, Jesus responded to covenant law, divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of divine fullness. Christ prepared mankind to receive a fresh endowment of life essence (i.e., breath; spirit; word) that would establish his followers as the new creation. Finite human tools of intellect, logic, carnal reason, and self-will (willpower) can not bring about the elimination of sin. Even so, the living can be equipped to resemble, reflect, and reveal the character and likeness of Jesus that expresses commitment, discernment, and reconciliation to GOD. Through the ministry of Christ as a divine High Priest, an atonement for sin has been made, and inseparable aspects of divine fullness are imparted to indwell humanity. Included are faith, holiness, hope, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

Christ has demonstrated the operations and substance of divine spirit residing within flesh. Just as human self-will can not eliminate sin, men on the earth who are anointed and ordained as vessels of divine spirit can not dismiss or remove mortality. The deposits of divine spirit that believers receive enable an uninterrupted focus on Christ, and increases the ability to endure bereavement, conflict, contradiction, disaster, loss, and ruin. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Douglas Miller:

(1.) 2nd Timothy 1: 7, King James Version (KJV): 7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

(2.) Luke 13: 1-5, KJV: 1 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. 2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? 3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. 4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

(3.) 1st Peter 1: 3-9, KJV: 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: 7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: 8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: 9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENv7zIo_j9M.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(03/29/2020) Divine Acceptance of Homosexuality?

The image is being used to depict the challenges regarding repentance and salvation compared to those regarding homosexual conduct and lifestyles.

Today, a Battleaxe continues the discussion of Adam, Eve, and homosexuality. GOD is impartial, and the same condemnation and provisions for salvation are made on behalf of both heterosexuals and homosexuals. Sinners must change to exist before GOD in spirit, rather than in flesh, for there are many conditions and considerations that change the godliness of otherwise lawful conduct. Ones duty to GOD is to change their affection for others, rather than their affections change their duty to GOD. Belief in social privilege as completely the expression of human process and substance denies the effect and power for human life from fixed mechanical process and natural laws as well as from unchanging aspects of divine truth. Many of the present day demonstrations on behalf of homosexuality are not genuine expressions of divine intent. It is as if a committee of those desiring orange juice at breakfast conducted increasingly disruptive and violent protests demanding that apple trees also produce orange juice. Their marches and placards declare there are clear violations of economic opportunity; practices of bias, discrimination, and prejudice; and a withholding of benefits to various groups in the larger population (e.g., those drinking grape juice, grapefruit juice, and tomato juice at breakfast). Insisting that science and technology actually can meet the challenge, the apple growers offer the o-j-lovers the “emperors new clothes” requiring that the agitators be warned that the new juice product may have the aroma, calorie count, color, and flavor of apple juice. The ministry of Jesus Christ is not man-made, and does not center in human desire, or what may be accomplished through finite self-will (willpower); rather, the origin and focus of the salvation being offered to all are divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD. It is written: 1st Corinthians 3: 16-23, King James Version (KJV): 16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. 18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. 20 And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain. 21 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; 22 Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours; 23 And ye are Christs; and Christ is Gods.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1: 11-13, KJV)

(06/30/2016); Gender, Sex and Christian Beliefs? (05/18/2016); The Judgment Against Sodom? (04/10/2015)

THE BATTLE AXE: Adam, Eve, and Homosexuality (03/27/2020)—(5.) 1st Corinthians 6: 17-20, KJV: 17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. 18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s. Fornication is the defilement of spirit substance through sexual joining. Because our appetites and emotional commitments as living persons on the earth may corrupt and defile our relationships with divinity, the operations of human self-will can condemn mankind to irreversible separation from the Creator. Desire appears in the living as a focusing of consciousness and self-will in response to appetite, emotion (e.g., anger, fear, guilt, shame, sorrow), material objects, operations of mind (e.g., fantasy, recall, carnal reason, thought), experiences of sensation (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching), and operations of sin. Even so, the authority, dominion, and power of consecrated spirit are not to be despised, ignored, overthrown, or suppressed.

(6.) Ezekiel 18: 20-23, KJV: 20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. 21 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die. 22 All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live. 23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live? Just as a community may display a statue in the town square, and does not automatically encourage blasphemy, ungodliness, and the worship of idols, all sexual expression has not been labeled by GOD as “original sin” and the transgression of divine law. Among mankind, the judgment of sexual conduct continues to be liberal and tentative, for there are many points of subtlety (i.e., barely visible differences; sudden shifts in meaning and value). Sexual behavior always occurs on many different levels (emotional, physical, psychological, and spiritual) all at the same time. Thus, because of its intent to express love, holding hands and a kiss on the cheek (oral sex) may have enduring power for both partners in a relationship who desire to express continuing innocence and sexual desire. Christian belief, redemption, and salvation acknowledge multiple operations on behalf of mankind that can be carried out only by GOD. Included are atonement, forgiveness, Incarnation, rebirth, redemption, resurrection from the dead, and the second death. Conforming to the standards generated by GOD, who is immortal, incorruptible and invisible, requires that the living receive inseparable aspects from the makeup of divine fullness (e.g., faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, wrath against sin). While divinity is active presence, and may appear on the earth using human form and flesh, divinity remains spirit, and may indwell the consciousness and self-will of the living.

(7.) Galatians 5: 16-24, KJV: 16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. 18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Lawgiver, and of the divine order that establishes the universe. In the same way authentic human existence now imposes gender, mortality, and other aspects of human makeup that can not be permanently altered or removed by mankind, the presence and process of life essence (breath; spirit; word) imparted from divinity to mankind in Creation does not allow full human control of existence, life, personhood, and purpose. For mankind to exist as a companion of GOD in fruitful relationship also requires that men are to display the image of GOD, and to resemble, reflect, and reveal the character and likeness of Jesus Christ.

(8.) Romans 6: 12-16, KJV: 12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. 15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. 16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? Many mistakenly understand the liberty granted by divinity to mankind through grace to be a suspension of all demands for discipline; for restriction; and for rule through divine law, sacred practice, and the observance of consecrated principle. Sinners who become developing Christian believers may continue to desire approval and endorsement of self-assessment, peer review, and their own strivings to obtain vainglory. Human emotions and feelings of love do not consecrate self-expression and operations by the flesh. The focus of men and women to have lawful relationships in society (same sex marriage) is very different from the process of transformation for eternal life that is being advanced by divine fullness (we also say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit). The issues of being born again and becoming mature/ripe for harvest by the Lord at his appearing (we also say, the Advent; the Rapture; the Second Coming) pertain to the permanent dominion and ownership of Creation, not merely to the privilege for sexual expression within the celestial precincts or among the living on the earth.

(03/27/2020) Adam, Eve, and Homosexuality

The image depicts the error of Adam and Eve hiding from GOD in the Garden of Eden.

Today, reply is on the first human pair (Adam), gender, and human reproduction. At their creation, Adam was like the angels, neither mortal nor immortal, and had duration as an expression of divine prerogative (only GOD exists as immortal). The practice and process of human sexuality when focused according to divine intent centers on the reproduction of mankind as a material organism created by GOD that displays the properties of both flesh and spirit. Through sexual intercourse, joining, and the fertilization of the female seed, a child having life essence from GOD can be formed who will display characteristics and traits from both their male and female parent. It is written: Genesis 1: 27-28, King James Version (KJV): 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shown) posted the following:

what do you think about the creation of adam and eve?
at the time we were discussing mortal and venial sin in religion class when my teacher asked for examples of these sins. my classmate, stood up and said homosexuality. my teacher told him that homosexuality isn't a sin, and my classmate cannot argue with the fact that adam was made a man and eve was made a woman, therefore there are only two sexes. teacher told us that we cannot claim that they are man and woman because they were immortal, and so they have no gender whatsoever. opinions?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever. (Revelation 5: 6-14, KJV)

Anonymous”, existence and life are expressions of divine will. There are only two sexes that appear through the Creation of GOD, yet, there are many expressions of human sexuality generated by self-will within mankind, and the operations of flesh. Mature Christian believers do not rely on academic and secular discussions of Creation, the character and nature of mankind, or the operations and process of sin. There are multiple definitions, meanings, standards and values that should be in place that are aspects of sacred knowledge, only. For example, GOD is a spirit who appears to created beings and living creatures as active presence. The living mistakenly use finite human tools (e.g., intellect; language; logic; science) that understate the awesome dominion, personhood, and sovereignty of the divine fullness (we also say, Deity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit). Divinity may exist within the consciousness and self-will (willpower) of the living while remaining diffuse (we also say, limitless; without material form and measurable boundaries; outside the frameworks of time and space). Divinity endures as immortal, incorruptible, and invisible, and has made themselves knowable, known, accessible, and approachable. The operations of sin oppose the continued existence of sacred law, the Lawgiver, and the entire universe appearing through divine order. Sin is a transgression of sacred law that results in imbalance (iniquity), and the corruption of all divine order throughout the universe. The first pair (GOD called them both Adam) were deliberately male and female to populate the Garden of Eden through sexual joining in a manner similar to what was to be used among the animals. Eternal purpose and gender roles were in place at the time of Adams transgression; and disobedience by the pair resulted in the loss of life essence (i.e., breath; spirit; word) that had been imparted from the makeup of GOD. The divine sanctions for correction and punishment that were declared and stated as aspects of the law as first given to mankind included continuing as subject to death (i.e., mortality; the state of sleep endured by the male while the female was fashioned from one of his ribs). Visible results from the transgression of Adam include a gradual erosion of mankinds endowment of spirit substance that resulted in exaggerations of appetite (e.g., hunger, thirst, sexual cravings), sensation (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching), and the features of emotion/mind (e.g., anger, fear, imagination, recall). Through the ministry on earth of divinity appearing in flesh (we say, the Incarnation), Jesus Christ has established a new creation providing forgiveness for sin, a reconciliation of the Father to mankind, and new life for those in flesh by means of the resurrection of Christ. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Steve Amerson:

(1.) 1st Timothy 2: 13-15, King James Version (KJV): 13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. 15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

(2.) Romans 5: 17-19, KJV: 17 For if by one mans offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) 18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. 19 For as by one mans disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

(3.) Romans 8: 5-9, KJV: 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wMPENVk1AG4.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(03/26/2020) On Behalf Of Others

Today, reply is on whether during the present covid-19 health crisis Christians should pray for the world or only for themselves. There are no layoffs or shut-down of ministry among believers; the sacred work of praise, fulfilling the promises of GOD, and manifesting prophecy (comfort, edification, exhortation) will continue. Ordinarily, to avoid meddling and spiritual confusion, many believers pray only for family, friends, coworkers, and persons they know through direct relationships. However, for mature Christian believers, earnest and fervent prayer are to be offered continually. This is so even where prayer is understood as intimate and personal communication with divinity that allows one to confess and share their darkest and deepest feelings as well as their most private thoughts. In the same way the operations of sin are impartial, irrational, and attack all that exists indiscriminately, epidemic disease and sickness that obey mechanical process and natural law also dismiss many sacred distinctions, and violate consecrated boundaries. Even in times like these when their gathering in public may be cut off, Christian believers are to behave as those in ongoing judgment; and all are commanded to be faithful, sober, steadfast, unwavering, and vigilant. Their duty to serve and share with others is not lessened. It is written: Ezekiel 34: 15-26, King James Version (KJV): 15 I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord GOD. 16 I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment. 17 And as for you, O my flock, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats. 18 Seemeth it a small thing unto you to have eaten up the good pasture, but ye must tread down with your feet the residue of your pastures? and to have drunk of the deep waters, but ye must foul the residue with your feet? 19 And as for my flock, they eat that which ye have trodden with your feet; and they drink that which ye have fouled with your feet. 20 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD unto them; Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat cattle and between the lean cattle. 21 Because ye have thrust with side and with shoulder, and pushed all the diseased with your horns, till ye have scattered them abroad; 22 Therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between cattle and cattle. 23 And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd. 24 And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken it. 25 And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods. 26 And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing. A fighter in the public forum on Religion & Spirituality at “Yahoo! Answers” who used the ID “REAL” (Level 2 with 815 points) posted the following:

Do anybody anywhere in the world pray ti his/her God to save the world from this pandemic or pray for themselves only?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none; And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not; And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away. (1st Corinthians 7: 29-31, KJV)

REAL”, there are unchanging aspects of eternal purpose that are to be fulfilled and performed by Creation that will not to be interrupted or suspended in response to conditions and events on the earth. Where divinity establishes evil (i.e., calamity; catastrophe; disaster; upheaval) it is for the further outworking of divine prerogative, sacred law, prophecy, and revelation. While a separation to identify and sanctify authentic authority must be continued, the divine example for men on the earth declares there also must be a manifesting of humility and unselfish service to others that includes intercessory praise and prayer specially on behalf of those who may be recognized as sinners in repentance. The primary focus for the church is to be salvation for those who are committed as members within the body. Thus, consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Hezekiah Walker:

(1.) Jeremiah 29: 4-7, King James Version (KJV): 4 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, unto all that are carried away captives, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem unto Babylon; 5 Build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them; 6 Take ye wives, and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons, and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; that ye may be increased there, and not diminished. 7 And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.

(2.) Isaiah 45: 6-8, KJV: 6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else. 7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. 8 Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it.

(3.) Romans 8: 26-27, KJV: 26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

(4.) John 17: 9-17, KJV: 9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. 10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. 11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. 12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. 13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. 14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

(5.) Romans 8: 5-9, KJV: 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

(03/22/2020) The Challenge of Covid-19

A depiction of the corona virus that causes covid-19 infection as it might appear using an electron microscope

Today, reply is on whether covid-19 is a punishment sent by GOD against mankind. To Christians, death and the fulfillment of mortality are manifestations of the flesh, rather than the Spirit of GOD. While thousands of deaths are now being attributed to the spread of the virus throughout the world, the gift of spiritual discernment provided to Christian believers indicate no clear sacred events, divine manifestations, or operations of the divine fullness are appearing through covid-19. The fulfillment of divine promise, revelation, and salvation are being continued as the most necessary and visible works of GOD. That the Advent (day of the Lord; the harvest; the Rapture; the Second Coming) arrives “as a thief in the night,” states that there will be no further atonement or warnings as provided through the ministry of Jesus Christ. It is written: 2nd Peter 3: 9-13, King James Version (KJV): 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. 15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; A fighter in the “Yahoo! Is God punishing mankind with the coronavirus?
I heard a traditional Catholic priest say in his sermon that God is punishing mankind for his sins. He was comparing the coronavirus pandemic to the Flood as recorded in the Book of Genesis.

Is God punishing mankind with the coronavirus?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. (John 3: 16-21, KJV)

Corey”, Jesus Christ is to be received as an High Priest who makes atonement for sin. Divinity does not use corruption, decay, rot, and surprise attacks to communicate with mankind. Even so, there are ongoing acts of divinity that will be completed without further warnings. GOD has used consecrated spokespersons to announce and proclaim forgiveness, opportunities for repentance, and possibilities for reconciliation as well as plagues and punishments that appear as expressions of divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD. Mature Christian believers are encouraged by the agreement that exists among the record of sacred events shared in the holy writings, divine law, the proclamations of prophecy, and the Incarnation of Jesus Christ that all demonstrate existence and life for mankind as a companion to divine fullness (we also say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) are unchanging aspects of divine intent. The commandments uttered to Adam and repeated to Noah, “Be fruitful, multiply, and replenish the earth”, were given no expiration dates, and have not been annulled, canceled, or yet completed to meet the highest divine standards. Thus, believers understand that the works of GOD include a vast range of “unfinished business.” Included are harvesting those who belong to Jesus Christ from the earth; resurrection of the wicked for their final judgment; the destruction of the Devil; the elimination of mortality and sin; placement of the New Jerusalem on the earth; and the second death. Much of the corruption and disease we see in the earth has appeared through the operations of mechanical process and natural law, and are not a direct expression of divine will. More than the destruction of life on the earth, the highest divine objective is salvation. Consider again the following expressions of love and divine admonition that use language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Wintley Phipps:

(1.) Luke 12: 4-5, King James Version (KJV): 4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. 5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

(2.) Hebrews 10: 26-29, KJV: 26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. 28 He that despised Moses law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

(4.) Hebrews 9: 24-28, KJV: 24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: 25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; 26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. 27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: 28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

(03/19/2020) "Sinners" And "The Righteous"

A depiction of a sinner being covered by the righteousness of Christ.

Today, reply is on how the holy writings declare that all have sinned, yet, there are some who are called “the righteous.” There is no contradiction or error, here. The children and descendants of Adam (the male and female created by GOD) all inherit the label of “sinner” and the condition of mortality. The living complete a span of life by fulfilling an obligation to experience their own death. All have been made subject to death through the sanctions against transgression that were proclaimed at Creation along with the divine law. Divinity did make allowances for mankind to display godliness by obedience to divine law and by partnership in a perpetual covenant, however, human efforts and finite self-will (willpower) could not manifest the necessary inner substance for the complete recovery of mankinds character and nature. Jesus Christ has appeared on the earth using human flesh and process to establish consecrated possibilities for mankind to be accounted as righteous, to be released from condemnation for sin, to exist permanently as the new creation, and to escape the irreversible punishment for sin (the second death). Mankind is to acknowledge the righteousness of GOD appearing through the life and ministry of Jesus serving as a divine High Priest on the earth. In addition to atonement, forgiveness, mercy and reconciliation, Christ embodies otherwise inaccessible grace, justification, eternal purpose, and sanctification. It is written: Philippians 3: 7-10, King James Version (KJV): 7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. 8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, 9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: 10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality using the ID “potato” (Level 2 with 303 points) posted the following:

If all humans are sinners, why does the Bible make a distinction between sinners and the righteous?
Psalm 1:5 - “Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.”

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. (Galatians 2: 16-21, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Acknowledging Christ as Son (03/08/2020); TWO Kinds Of People (02/21/2020); Godliness Characterizes Authentic Humanity (02/06/2020); Only Divine Resurrection Saves (12/24/2019); Vessels Filled With Righteousness (11/06/2019); Life Because of Righteousness (08/29/2019); Paying For Our Sins? (08/20/2019)

potato”, sin can not be eliminated through human efforts and imperfect obedience to sacred law. Even so, the righteousness of GOD may appear within men as faith and other spirit substance. Among Christian believers, only where sinners become joined to Christ, and begin to manifest Jesus in their lifestyles and daily routines are they spoken of as “the righteous.” Mankind may be understood as continuing to exist in spite of sin through multiple operations of divinity that express the unchanging character, purpose, and substance of divine fullness (we also say, Deity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit). Adam (the first pair) became subject to the sanctions that were stated as a further aspect of the revelation provided to fit them for companionship with GOD who is immortal, incorruptible, and invisible. The “law” proclaimed that death (we say, mortality; sleep; the second death) would result by disobedience, yet, did not explain that humanity is to display the image of GOD that only appears by the exchange and interaction of the inseparable aspects of “life essence” (breath; spirit; word) imparted from the makeup of GOD. Included are balance, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Divinity did not alter or annul the divine law. To continue and fulfill the consecrated intent expressed in the Creation, divinity has provided atonement, correction, covenant, forgiveness, Incarnation (divinity using human flesh and process to appear as Jesus Christ), priesthood, promise, prophecy, resurrection from death, and many other sacred operations. By acts of GOD, mankind is released from the condemnation to exist as sinners that resulted when Adam violated their relationship with the Creator. The operations of sin oppose the continued existence of divine law, the Lawgiver, and the universe produced by divine order. Sin promotes nonexistence, and a return to the conditions of chaos, confusion, and flux that were in place before the founding of heaven and earth (we say, preexistence). Sin may dominate consciousness and self-will (willpower) in created beings and living creatures; yet, sin cannot influence or manipulate the sovereign will of GOD. Salvation from sin and eternal relationship as a companion to divinity are accomplished by GOD as the living acknowledge they are being transformed to exist as vessels of divine DNA (so to speak), joint-heirs with Christ, and “the new creation.” Believers are to resemble, reflect, and reveal the character and likeness of Jesus Christ. The Savior himself is the most complete and correct appearance of the renewed righteousness that must be found within mankind. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Steve Amerson:

(1.) Romans 5: 18-19, King James Version (KJV): 18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. 19 For as by one mans disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

(2.) Romans 6: 3-11, KJV: 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7 For he that is dead is freed from sin. 8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: 9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. 10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. 11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

(3.) Romans 1-9, KJV: 1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

(03/18/2020) Leadership By The Church

Today, reply is on the response by Christian congregations to recommendations from health care providers and government officials that social distancing and the suspension of public gatherings be practiced during the current global health crisis focused on the coronavirus. There can be no surrender to depression, despair, or other emotional and psychological extremes. All are encouraged to go forward relying on the same determination and values that ensure our survival as families, households, neighborhoods, and nations. The need is for accountability, commitment, cooperation, endurance, maturity, respect, and vigilance, rather than complaining, divisiveness, fault-finding, laying blame, negativity, quarreling, and seeking to gain advantage over others. It is written: Romans 13: 9-14, King James Version (KJV): 9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. 11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. 13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. 14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality who used the ID “Anonymous” (no profile data appeared) posted the following:

Why are churches closing down at this time of despair in the world?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. (John 17: 15-17, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Why Do They Sing? (11/14/2019); Justified By Church Attendance? (06/21/2019); A Possible “Home Remedy?” (11/08/2018); Duties of a Christian? (03/13/2018); Not All Are Welcome (11/28/2017); Will GOD Bless My Team? (12/31/2012); Put Every Man His Sword By His Side (01/01/2013)

Anonymous”, this is a time of challenge, yet, not a time of despair. The leadership that now must be shown by Christian believers in the church is to be seen in its cooperation with the policies and recommendations from health professionals and government officials who are acting on behalf of the commonwealth and well-being of vast communities having many diverse groups. The coronavirus, and the contagious disease it is promoting within our communities, are threats to the flesh of mankind and our continuing social order, rather than a threat against the spirit substance that divinity has deposited within mankind on the earth. The virus is only one more challenge to the duration (longevity) and quality of life that can be dealt with as major public health problems that operate in accordance with mechanical process and natural laws, and are not subject directly to the will of GOD. In the same way mortality is now a human condition (angels are neither mortal nor immortal, and only GOD is immortal), the consciousness that all (parents, children, employers, co-workers, etc.) may die at some point requires that humanity embrace specific values and standards to meet the challenges that come by living on the earth. Included are adopting attitudes and behaviors that express accountability, balance, commitment, integrity as human beings, maturity, and respect. Also, there should be willingness to change through discovery, gradual growth, learning, practice, unselfish service, and suffering. Correctly understood, many aspects of existence and life that the living are to embrace should be acknowledged as necessary duty and responsibility that must be discharged to become complete and full persons. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of John Michael Talbot

(1.) 2nd Timothy 1: 7, King James Version (KJV): 7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

(2.) Romans 8: 22-23, KJV: 22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

(3.) 2nd Corinthians 4: 5-12, KJV: 5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus sake. 6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. 8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 11 For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. 12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you.

(4.) Romans 8: 5-9, KJV: 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

(5.) Romans 13: 1-8, KJV: 1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. 5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. 6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are Gods ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. 7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. 8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
