(08/31/2014) Why Similar Accounts

Today, more points are shared on the process of Scripture and why similar accounts featuring different persons and times may appear. 


THE BATTLE AXE:  Stories Repeated in the Bible? (08/30/2014)—(5.)  Often, what appears as repetition in the Scriptures presents added and new information that furthers discernment and insight.  The process of spirit growth is one of gradual change and transformation.  The many life lessons of the Bible are conveyed using such elements as comparison, contrast, and diversity.  Many points are provided as admonitions and warning, others for explanation and instruction, while some serve to establish or trigger memory.  What appears to be their similarity and sameness is often the result of their displaying a shared and single spirit.  In the power and purpose of GOD, holy writings provide deposits of spirit content that continually nourish, refresh, and revive ones own endowment of spirit from GOD.  Finite intelligence may only recognize these operations when they appear through familiar forms and clear patterns.  Consider how, when assembling a jigsaw puzzle with thousands of pieces, we find there are many parts that at first appear all to be the same, that we later discover have form and unique details that make each one different from the others.  More than serving to publish carnal and historical information, the Scriptures impart inseparable (where one appears, all the others appear) aspects of divinity from the makeup of GOD.  Thus, with faith there are also holiness, joy, love, righteousness, truth, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  To those lacking discernment (ability to use their own spirit content to recognize and respond to spirit content in events, objects, persons, purposes) these aspects of GOD are lumped together, spoken of, and thought to be interchangeable—that they do the same thing and work the same way.  In fact, however, they are all distinct, yet only have their sacred effect interacting and working together.

(6.)  The device of divine prophecy first appears in the Scriptures during the account of Adam and Eve hearing GOD rebuke the serpent.  Early accounts of prophecy where dreams are used to proclaim divine intent include visions given patriarchs Abraham and Jacob.  Later examples are kings David and Solomon, prophets Ezekiel and Micah, the Apostle Paul, and John the Revelator.  In the Bible, lessons are repeated to demonstrate that the word from GOD given forth as proclamation, promise, and prophecy is credible, focused, trustworthy, and unchanging.

(7.)  Both Daniel and Joseph are symbols, and types (figures that appear repeatedly to represent a peculiar theme, a specific principle, or an operation of GOD) like Jacob and Esau that point to features among humanity such as birthright, brotherhood, competition, covenant, duty, gifts, sibling rivalry, and inheritance to clarify priesthood, service to GOD, and intimate relationship with divinity.  Believers are to discern and recognize that the same GOD is able to function and operate in different conditions and circumstances. 

(8.)  All dreams do not carry messages from GOD that reveal sacred events with otherwise hidden and invisible purpose, and our routine dreams are not prophetic in nature.  Prophetic dreams appear through operations by an aspect of full divine person, the Holy Spirit, through and upon the spirit content of those having faith from GOD.  Ordinarily, dreams are a product of ones emotional and mental states.  Actions and declarations are repeated in Scripture to indicate the correct interpretation, divine origin, and significance of dreams and prophesies.  Where a dream from GOD recurs or repeats, it is to indicate the firmness of divine purpose.  See Deuteronomy 13:  1-5, Ecclesiastes 5:  2-3 and 7, Jeremiah 23:  31-33, Daniel 2:  28, Amos 3:  7, Genesis 41:  32 and Acts 2:17, KJV.

(08/30/2014) Stories Repeated in the Bible?

I was watching shows with my younger cousin and I realized between VeggieTales and Joseph: King of Dreams, that the two stories are almost identical. Guy understands dreams, king is happy, things get ****** up, happy ending. Are these two seperate religions? Or both Christianity? What's the point of the same story being retold twice?


THE BATTLE AXE:  Family and Beliefs of Children? (08/29/2014)—(5.)  Parents are not brainwashing or coercing their children because they introduce the ABC’s, reading, and spelling.  Neither are parents enslaving their child by sharing the Bible, church attendance, and unselfish service.  All children taught the alphabet do not go on to learn reading and writing.  Many choose to become defiant, rebellious, and do not learn in classroom settings and schools.  It remains that caretakers and parents can not teach faith.  Faith is an aspect of divine makeup along with other inseparable spirit content that must be provided by operations from GOD.  Included are forgiveness, holiness, joy, longsuffering, love, truthfulness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Parents may create, identify, and set up opportunities for their children; provide examples and models; clarify sacred knowledge; or acknowledge, encourage and praise efforts of their children to learn and conform to sacred standards.  The home must prepare children for growth and participation within the church; and experience within the two social settings must complete and reinforce the sacred content and process of one another.  See again Genesis 18:  19, Ezra 9:  1-3, Malachi 2:  11-17, Malachi 3:  14-18 and Malachi 4:  5-6, KJV.

“Brittany”, here are a few points on Christian belief that you might find helpful:

(1.)  The ancient writings collected together as the Bible are a record of cosmic and human events that display the active presence of GOD through thousands of lives, over thousands of years (we say, a divine perspective).

(2.)  GOD is a spirit who has put forth all existence.  The language throughout the Scriptures comes from finite carnal, material and social relationships among created beings and living creatures, yet, is intended to describe and reveal divinity that is totally spirit in makeup and substance.  We say GOD is immutable and unchanging, given that he repeatedly uses specific devices and divine operations (e.g., covenant, law, dreams, healing, prophecy, suffering, raising the dead) to make known and reveal divinity to the living.

(3.)  Depictions and portrayals of the Bible shown in animations, TV programs, and movies (e.g., Noah, The Passion, The Ten Commandments) often are adaptations where the text has been altered responding to varying limitations.  The sacred quality of the Scriptures may be totally ignored in the effort to produce something dramatic, simple, sensational, and sexually engaging.  Profane and non-spiritual elements will appear when, in their efforts to be professional, directors and producers make no requirement of belief and commitment for those who are asked to carry out their projects.  Oversimplification and other spiritual errors will be common because of aesthetic, artistic, and budgeting concerns as well as on the basis of the godliness, insight, understanding, and quality of skill and talent among actors, illustrators, and technical staff.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example (4.)  Through baptism (death of ones inborn spirit, rebirth having divine DNA, so to speak), believers are equipped to correctly understand and value the aspects of divinity that have been revealed.  Just like a blind man may be willing, and want to see, yet, is not equipped, so believers can not “see” without an experience of rebirth.  Born again, believers gradually “grow up” again by acquiring sacred knowledge, continuing sacred practices, overcoming life challenges, and participating in fellowship with other believers.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

(08/29/2014) Family and Beliefs of Children?

THE BATTLE AXE:  Love at First Sight? (08/28/2014)—(4.)  The initial encounter of two persons joined by an agreement for arranged marriage may, or may not, include the experience of bonding we call “love at first sight.”  However, it absolutely must include a foundation of child-parent love, dutifulness, respect, and trust.  Infatuation and what we call “puppy love” describe experiences of young people marked by efforts to establish and prolong temporary emotional excitement, exaggerated romantic attraction, and (occasionally) sexual arousal that alters, confuses, and disrupts their usual patterns of behavior, discipline, home life, and thought.  By contrast genuine experiences of love introduce growth, self assessment, planning, and reflection.  Efforts are focused upon continuity, discovery, increased intimacy, sharing, and stability.  Just as a single seed contains the full life and every stage of a plant’s future development, a blind date or casual encounter also may provide the complete potential for mature love.  Where the seed a couple contain is one for life companionship, their courtship and dating begins a relationship that should naturally result with the two firmly established as life companions.  Where men and women, instead, are rooted only in the animal aspects of their humanity obstacles to genuine love must repeatedly appear such as conceit, fear, materialism, possessiveness, pride and sexual appetite that hinder the gradual unfolding of love.   See again Genesis 2:  18, Proverbs 28:  4, Song of Solomon 8:  6-7 and Malachi 2:  13-15, KJV.

(1.)  Families are more than simply groups having a physical bond through sexual reproduction, or legal contracts of adoption and marriage.  Families also are identified as groups practicing and sharing specific beliefs as well as clear patterns displaying emotional, intellectual, political, psychological, and spiritual values.

(2.)  Minor children must depend upon stable families for nourishment and protection throughout their early development.  By regularly repeating peculiar exchanges and interactions, children are instructed and prepared to operate independently having their own integrity as mature persons.  Family relationships are the first setting wherein children develop and use both nonverbal and oral communication.  Later, preschool, kindergarten, and day care become the areas where their social character is further molded.

(3.)  Either deliberately or unintentionally—formally or informally— all children eventually are introduced to every belief system of their parents, and carried forward into every relationship of their parents that existed before they were born.  Where parents are not grounded in sacred knowledge and spiritual belief systems, usually their children may not pursue such interests without emotional conflict, and various levels of separation.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example (4.)  Parents may share only surface aspects of their own spiritual experiences with their children; and each child must determine how they will benefit best from what they have been given.  Just as parents are not cruel monsters who force their children to learn the ABC’s, parents are not tyrants for allowing their children a place in their church attendance, Bible study, and prayers.  Only with the ABC’s may our children someday read and write; and only with basic sacred knowledge and practice with others will children someday prosper as adult believers.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

(08/28/2014) Love at First Sight?

Divine love, attraction, and healthy relationships are topics, today; and the periodic table for the tests of love and healthy relationship are featured.  A “Yahoo! Answers” writer using the ID “charlene” (Level 1 with 81 points, a member since August 27, 2014) posted the following:

“charlene”, there are many things that are “real” that can not be easily explained with words.  Here are a few points on love that are important among Christian believers:

(1.)  Love is understood as a process wherein independent spirits contact one another, interact, and are permanently joined on a continuing basis (we say, in stable relationships).  As with many aspects of sacred knowledge within Christian belief, only those who actually have experienced divine love, the sacred spirit that is love, and “love at first sight” may give a reliable first-hand report on what it is like.  I’m convinced that such experiences only occur where one first has been prepared through peculiar emotional, mental, psychological, and spiritual events.

(2.)  What I experienced as “love at first sight” was an immediate sense of mutual acceptance and connection when I was introduced to a stranger.  After some conversation, I found my self embracing this person as a peer and a “soul mate” (someone I felt was my equal in commitment, intellect, purpose, quality, and trust).  This was unasked for and unexpected.  I was surprised, and a little suspicious (believers are cautioned always to try the spirits, whether they be of GOD).  I was challenged to put aside all bias, fear, guilt, prejudice, and shame.  I was challenged to put aside all judgment, and suspend my usual “moves” to impress others by showing off aspects of my mastery of African American heritage, and to completely rely upon GOD, instead.  The love I experienced in that moment, decades ago, is still in effect, and has stood the test of time.  I trust this person continues in my heart and in my thoughts through operations of the Holy Spirit.  By no means was our meeting and sharing with one another the kind of sexual encounter we call a “one night stand.”  Yet, the two of us have not seen one another eye-to-eye, or spent time together in the same place since our first being introduced.

(3.)  Genuine love is immutable, permanent, and unchanging.  As an eternal operation love affirms human existence without condemning any because of finite carnal abilities, needs, possibilities, and understandings.  It is never a mistake to love.  Having a realization of love is also having an awareness of duty and responsibility.  Thus, where it is our purpose to anoint, build, heal, protect, restore, and sanctify, we do not use the language “love at first sight.”  In addition, we are careful not to make excuses, or “explain away” experience as some do who deny miracles by seeking intellectual and scientific answers.  To love is to unselfishly benefit another.  Christians agree that love is more than affection, attraction based upon outward appearance, desire, and emotion.  What else is there?  See the charts below from THE FELLOWSHIP OF HIS SUFFERINGS:  Death, Love and Unity (1998.  Williams, Michael Andrew.  Washington, DC:  THE BLACK PHOENIX PRESS.)  As a content of ones spirit, love is inseparable from faith, holiness, humility, joy, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

(08/27/2014) Perfection and Prayer?

Today, focus is upon the difference between prayers that GOD will change human events, and prayers to establish sacred events.  A “Yahoo! Answers” fighter using the ID “Edward” (Level 1 with 145 points, a member since October 08, 2013) posted the following:


If Christians think god has a perfect plan, why do they constantly ask him to change it by praying?

“Edward”, here are some points that may help you understand the Christian practice of prayer more correctly:

(1.)  For mature Christians, prayers are like intimate and private conversations with GOD, and therefore are made when alone or in ones private chambers.  Secret, and sometimes unspoken because they are offered as directed thoughts, prayer may include confessions of need, intercession, and requests on behalf of others.  However, the focus in all prayer is the further revelation of GOD, acknowledging divinity, and carrying out the divine will.

(2.)  Once you get to know, or your self become a thoughtful believer, you may pray with others within an assembly as your prayer partner(s).  Mutual respect and love make it that there is no criticism or judgment of another person’s heartfelt prayers.  You may not like their choice of words, their speaking accent, how brief or how long they may speak.  Yet, as one who shares and understands their sacred intent, you accept and encourage the Spirit of GOD as it becomes visible through others.  To show your agreement, you are expected to say, Amen (so be it, may GOD make it so)!

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  For believers, perfection (i.e., maturity; readiness and ripeness for divine harvest) is only through operations of GOD such as atonement, birth, death, judgment, rebirth, salvation, and sanctification.  You’ll find that Christian prayers emphasize permanent spiritual change, yet, are directed by “common sense” not fantasy and imagination.  Change regarding human events comes only by careful thought and determined action (we say, hard work).)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

(08/26/2014) About Good Sermons?

THE BATTLE AXE:  Sermons About Good Sex? (08/25/2014)—(5.)  Rightly understood, sermons are not casual and informal conversations, or personal exchanges based on private opinions.  Preaching, prophesying, and sermons are authoritative proclamations and statements made by spokespersons sent from GOD, who speak as the Holy Spirit gives utterance.  All believers are not called to  be pulpit preachers; however, all are challenged to hear, and be doers of the word.  Saying this another way:  Sermons are proclamations of divine law as seen with Moses and those who gathered at Sinai, or with Ezra and those of the Exile who gathered in Jerusalem.  Sermons are delivered to full congregations—minor children included—and are to establish unity through shared awareness of conditions, duties, privileges and responsibilities that extend to all within the body.  In addition to pastoral counseling conducted as private sessions, personal ministries of the church also are provided that supply needed fellowship and intimacy, the peculiar details, and the special needs of various groups such as singles, married believers, those returning from the military or prison, those recovering from addictions, and young adults.

(6.)  As with sacred knowledge regarding redemption, salvation, serving as vessels for the Spirit from GOD, and eternal life, many reject the church as a source for instruction regarding the process of life commanded by the Almighty.  Within the body of believers, standards for communication must be in place so that all things may be done decently, and in order.  This may include restrictions upon such verbal behavior as pronouncing curses (wicked prayers for the harm of others), swearing an oath, speaking in tongues when interpretation is not available, using profanity, and making threats of violence.  Valuable sermons regularly include those that establish the presence of Jesus in the hearts and minds of believers; that correctly present the  full Gospel and detail the plan of salvation; that prepare  believers for the promised coming of Jesus; that remind believers of neglected and overlooked doctrine, practices and teachings that have been provided for benefit, fulfillment and power.  Examples include, the seventh day Sabbath, the gifts of the Spirit, the fruit of the Spirit, and the specific expectations believers are commanded to maintain as hope.

(08/25/2014) Sermons About Good Sex?

Today, points are shared on instruction by the church regarding how to achieve sexual satisfaction.  Also, there is more on whether the Scriptures teach that some people are “just bad.”  The “Yahoo! THE BATTLE AXE:  Some People Are Just Bad? (08/24/2014)—(6.)  Given that all have sinned, from the divine point of view, there now are only two kinds of people in the world:  repentant sinners (those having godly sorrow for sin, who have claimed the revealed mercy of GOD) and impenitent sinners (those experiencing neither godly sorrow for their own sins nor divine wrath against sin as an obstacle to their own eternal life, and are determined to continue a life of offenses against GOD and mankind).  As with rebirth through baptism, acquiring forgiveness and salvation are instantaneous operations of GOD, that must be followed by continuing change and gradual growth for a believer to reach the status of spiritual maturity and divine perfection.

(7.)  The Scriptures teach that certain functions, life processes, operations, and roles were put into place in the beginnings of Creation along with admonitions, sacred laws, and sanctions to preserve and maintain divine order.  Thus, an unnamed blind man appears in Scripture who was sightless from birth in order that GOD’s glory and power would be demonstrated, and revealed through Jesus healing him in the Temple at Jerusalem.  While it was predetermined that someone would betray Jesus into the hands of the corrupt priests at the Temple, no specific person was named by GOD, or prophesied in the Scripture to carry out the task:  Judas Iscariot was self-appointed.  As with the judgment of Achan by Joshua, the penalty for ones crime or transgression may be announced long before any offense is committed; yet, does not cancel or deter its being carried out.  That a person performs works that carry out destructive or negative aspects within the divine plan (e.g., Korah, Dathan and Abiram; Caiaphas; Pontius Pilate) does not relieve the persons who commit those acts of their accountability before GOD.  With this in view, we understand that no infant is born automatically condemned to become a thief; it is through self-promotion and by self-selection that a child may end its life upon that path.  Similarly, no child is born predestined through the workings of GOD to some day marry in a same sex wedding ceremony.  Everyone who experiences being sexually attracted to a person(s) of the same gender, do not commit themselves to a gay or lesbian lifestyle.

(8.)  The Scriptures also teach there are classes of created beings and living creatures who are already sealed in judgment, and labeled as “an evil and adulterous generation,” apostates, children of disobedience, infidels, heretics, and “those who kept not their first estate.”  Such continue to operate within the spheres of life (earth and heaven), yet, there is no teaching that encourages belief that the things provided through Jesus Christ for mankind will also be applied to their condition.

(9.)  Knowing that GOD can open hearts and minds that are otherwise closed and shut to clergy, co-workers, family, and friends, believers are instructed to avoid “jumping to conclusions” (i.e., condemnation; final judgments) of others.  Believers may appear indifferent, and uncaring, yet, they are not to repeatedly challenge, confront, and harass others.  Those in Christ also must accept the divine limits upon their own ministry.  Believers are to “bide their time” submitting themselves in judgment to GOD without bias and prejudice against others.  Every offense believers are able to recognize in the attitudes and behavior of others exist within the full spectrum of their own inner life.  This includes desires, errors, fantasies, and lusts that may be disguised or maintained having an altered form.  Being truly released from all the operations of sin requires what only GOD may do, and proceeds through connections and interactions structured by divinity, rather than flesh.  Consider again Jude 1:  3-8, Psalms 53:  1-4, John 8:  23-45, 1st Corinthians 4:  5, 2nd Corinthians 6:  14-18, Colossians 3:  5-7, Titus 3:  1-11, 2nd Timothy 3:  1-9, Matthew 25:  41-46 and Revelation 21:  8, KJV.

“Connie”, here are a few points that should advance the growth of your spirit in agreement with Christian belief:

(1.)  The most necessary and urgent work for the church is the establishment of an added, fresh endowment of divinity from the makeup of GOD within those who are carnal, yet are seeking new life through Jesus Christ.  Ones inborn spirit that focuses upon appetite (e.g., hunger, thirst, sexual cravings), sensation (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching) and emotion/mental functions (e.g., anger, fantasy, fear, imagination, recall) must be replaced by spirit matter that is constantly in harmony with divine person.  Believers must be prepared to receive inseparable aspects of divinity such as faith, forgiveness, holiness, humility, longsuffering, truthfulness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

(2.)  Where pastors speak about satisfaction through sexual intimacy their focus may be upon chastity, fornication or marriage, because all sexual behavior is more than a simple, physical act.  There are emotional, psychological, and spiritual dimensions as well.  All sexual behavior—even holding hands and a kiss on the cheek—may establish a joining of spirits.  Thus, for example, joining oneself to a sex worker introduces multiple spirits from unknown and unseen persons that may confuse, defile, dominate, and otherwise weaken ones inborn spirit.  Even within marriage, there must be a preparation for, and an acceptance of permanent changes within ones own person through their spouse.  Only by death, or the operations of the imparted, indwelling Spirit from GOD, can such joining be dissolved.

(3.)  There are many secular settings that provide counseling and instruction on the mechanics of sexual arousal and intercourse.  The duty of the church is not to compete against or replace the instruction by educated, skilled, and thoughtful caretakers, parents, medical professionals, and others.  However, many see the church as imposing discipline and law upon sexual matters because there also must be a focus upon the maintenance of sexual innocence, and purity.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  The church must be understood as a diverse body made up from persons who have achieved varying levels of emotional, intellectual and spiritual maturity.  Through the provision of GOD, a particular sermon will deliver to all who hear exactly what their spirit has confessed in prayer to be their most heartfelt offerings as well as their most pressing needs.  While only 30 seconds of a 20 minute presentation may seem relevant, because it is from GOD, it operates on multiple levels to cleanse, heal, and nourish.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

(08/24/2014) Some People Are Just Bad?

The idea that some are bad people who can not be saved, comes into view, today.  A “Yahoo! Answers” writer using the ID “Darryl” (Level 2 with 604 points, a member since October 28, 2010) posted the following:


Where does the Bible stand on this issue? 

As a Christian, I believe there are some people who are just bad people - not good people who do bad things bad just bad evil people that no matter what their background, opportunities or lack of, life, socio-economic background, etc will be bad people.

I do think most criminals do suffer from disadvantages, trauma, low intelligence, etc that led them to do bad things but could have been good people.

But I do believe there are such thing as truly bad people - where does the bible stand on this ?

I also believe that a man is defined but what he does - so if a man does bad things - he is a bad man and vice-versa.

“Darryl”, here are a few points to consider for a correct understanding of the Bible, of mankind, and of salvation:

(1.)  The holy writings document eternal purpose, covenant relationships, sacred events (we say, miracles), godly interventions, and operations carried out by the Spirit of GOD whereby divinity has been shown to be active and present (we say, revealed) to created beings and living creatures.  While thousands of lives over the course of thousands of years are used to establish a clear image of the Invisible, the Scriptures are very different from writing intended for academic study, amusement (we say, entertainment, fiction, stories), biographies, history, and philosophical speculation.  Believers are to internalize and experience aspects of spirit process and spirit substance that pertain to the full person of GOD.  Through their baptism (death of ones inborn spirit, rebirth having divine content) followers of Jesus are different from all other finite beings, including angels and men.

(2.)  By operating through and upon their awareness and self-will, sin may dominate created beings and living creatures.  Sin was first recognized as an ungodly influence among the holy angels, and later was introduced upon the earth.  Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, of sacred knowledge, of GOD as sovereign, and of uninterrupted divine order throughout the earth, the heaven, and the entire universe.

(3.)  In addition to diversity, the life process for mankind embraces divinely directed change and transformation on many levels, and through multiple mechanisms.  Within the frameworks of time and space provided for order among mankind, the final judgment of individuals and of the human race often seems to be delayed, or postponed.  However, the process of GOD is eternal; therefore, only ones death can deny their possibility of salvation.  Ongoing, yet, unseen divine operations include atonement, birth, death, redemption, and sanctification that are accomplished using great subtlety (barely visible differences; hidden shifts and changes).  The person you condemn in this hour, may not yet be irreversibly condemned by GOD, and may have had a saving encounter with Christ by the next time you see him or her.

(4.)  The Adversary encourages men to believe that they are doomed, and can never be saved.  He encourages despair, bitterness, death, and sin by declaring there are those GOD can not claim.  Nothing is impossible for GOD; yet, salvation is by divine grace, not by human deeds and works.  To be fully aware of their place with GOD through judgment and mercy, there is the condition that men willingly accept and acknowledge the provisions from GOD.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  In accounts such as Noah’s flood, and the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, the eternal wrath of GOD against sin is demonstrated.  The Scriptures plainly declare that all have sinned, and come short of the glory of GOD.  With this in view, even clergy, those in covenant relationships, those ordained as kings, priests, and prophets—those who have not sinned—the rich as well as the poor, all stand in need of the one salvation provided from GOD through Jesus Christ.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

(08/23/2014) The Rosary and Other Prayers?

Today, I share more points regarding spiritual benefit and power through the Rosary devotions and other prayers.


THE BATTLE AXE:  The Power in Prayer? (08/22/2014)—(5.)  The most common and recurring problems for our prayer life are exposed by the discipline of praying the Rosary.  For, too often, believers pray to get from GOD, and not to unselfishly acknowledge and give to GOD.  Believers are thinking of their own desires and needs, or those of our loved ones whom we regard as possessions and parts of ourselves; and we are not thinking of completing or finishing things begun by the Father, the Son, or the Holy Spirit.  Their true spirit is exposed for those who err by approaching prayer as a function of doctrine and intellect, rather than of faith and Spirit.  Such are repeatedly cast down and overthrown by simple observances such as the Jesus Prayer, the Prayer of Jabez, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Rosary prayers manifesting undeniable spirit power in the lives of those in humility to Christ.  Nonbelievers frequently confuse displaying and practicing faith imparted from GOD with holding to an idea out of fear, ignorance, or stubbornness.  Rightly understood, prayer is also a form of ministry wherein believers serve with Christ as advocates, mediators, and supporters in judgment before GOD.  More than simply that prayer is to further develop patience in believers by having them tarry and wait for answers from GOD, the process of prayer is intended to further develop patience and ability to wait in expectation of fulfillment for divine proclamations, promises, and prophecies.  See Psalms 34:  1-8, Proverbs 28:  9 and Luke 1:  45-47, KJV.

(6.)  Given that all our actions, praises, and prayers offered to divinity are expressions within a personal and private relationship, the privilege of judging their beauty, completeness, depth, sincerity, and whether they are acceptable or not belongs only to those to whom they have been sent forth.  Mary is alive and in heaven through the same resurrection power that lifted Jesus, her son.  She is therefore sanctified and consecrated.  Those who acknowledge that the mother of Jesus is now exalted through the combined love of the Father and the Son, also understand that her role petitioning on behalf of believers does not replace Jesus as the one and only savior given to mankind.  Rather than answer counsel from academic theology, believers use common sense reasoning to endorse their practice of the Rosary, and every other form of group and private prayer.  Included are family prayer, prayer circles, praying in tongues, and silent or unspoken prayer.  Through the Rosary and other prayers, believers may achieve new discipline, express their love, show respect, themselves make intercession, and request and receive comfort, intercession and support both from Mary and from her blessed son.  GOD has not granted authority to anyone in heaven or upon the earth to disapprove and mock a believers heartfelt expressions of devotion and love.

(7.)  As seen among Islamic believers, agreement to honor and worship one God, the same God, is not the same as agreement to worship one way, the same way.  In other words:  there is only one God Almighty, yet, there are many acceptable ways to praise, honor and reverence the one God.  Because belief is also a matter of individual conscience, maturity, and what one may grasp as the completeness and integrity of their own being and personness, diversity will always appear within the assemblies, congregations, and households of faith.  Public worship generates the shared vocabulary of experience needed for acknowledgment of commonly held emotions and otherwise hidden feelings, clear communication, the building of trust as well as genuine fellowship among believers.  Often, symbolic ceremonies, customs, rites, and rituals are used, traditions that have been conserved, repeated, and continued without changes.  By contrast, private devotions, such as the Rosary, call ones spirit content into greater creativity, and more open individual exploration and self-expression.

So, why would people keep saying the rosary? 

Update : (Matthew 6:7) But when praying, do not say the same things over and over again, just as the people of the nations do, for they imagine they will get a hearing for their use of many words.

Update 2: FIREBALL, all I did was ask a question to try to understand why they would do this when Jesus said not to. Why did you put "NOT OUR BUSINESS...WE ARE NOT THE RELIG COPS"?

“Suzy”, here are some points to consider that may further improve and perfect your prayer life:

(1.)  The process of prayer using the Rosary is one of turning away from the harshness, treachery, and violence of the World to focus upon the beauty, and glory of Mary and her Son, our Savior.  Believers willingly direct their emotions and thoughts to events (some say, mysteries) in the lives of the holy mother and son.  For Christians, continuous and uninterrupted meditation upon the things given from GOD for eternal life and salvation establish spiritual discernment (the ability to recognize and respond to sacred content within life experiences such as events, motives, objects, other persons, purposes, sacred practices (we say, sacraments), and the holy writings. 

(2.)  The challenge against the Rosary because of repetition is a trick from the Adversary to distract ones attention away from divinity.  Common sense dictates that all divine standards and tools provided as gifts to created beings and living creatures must be employed and put to work on the basis of conditions and needs that may vary over time, yet, are themselves immutable and unchanging.  The recognition of Christ (and of his mother) is only by operations of the Holy Spirit.

(3.)  Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the lawgiver, and the Creation that relies upon sacred law for divine order.  The attack by sin is always through awareness and self-will.  The prayers of the Rosary are still a shield and weapon against sin.  The power in offering Rosary and other scriptural prayers include alertness, clarity, peace of mind, and a heightened consciousness of divine presence.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  For those in an intimate relationship, to repeatedly say “I love you,” is not regarded as boring, insulting, or offensive. Those who pray the Rosary confess their continuing joy, their need, and their respect.  Also, the Savior has taught that believers should importune (persist, repeat) in their prayers that make petitions and requests of GOD until they are answered (and, even, after they are answered) as acknowledgement of divine authority and sovereignty.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

(08/21/2014) Poem—Ferguson, MO 2014

August 9th was my birthday, however, it also was a Sabbath.  I spent most of my celebration hours acknowledging the Creator, and being refreshed after his word, his will, and his way.  The difficult events in Ferguson, Missouri were not brought to my attention right away (my heart was being drawn to Hamas and Israel); and now that they are threatening greater ruin than men may manage without GOD, I’ve chosen to share some of my thoughts in a way that challenges a reader to stop, and think.  Those of us who carried out and endured the losses of earlier days are still willing to call for justice, only, not as a lynch mob, a street gang, suicidal thugs, or a pack of roaming marauders.  Having been taught by our being there, we understand, it is an unexplainable loss of all control.  Psychotic breaks (we say, nervous breakdowns) can be the sign of a broken heart and a broken spirit, and the beginning of a breakthrough from GOD.  For the broken all require what only GOD can do.  Because an unarmed teenager was shot in the back, and then gunned down while facing the police officer holding both hands up in surrender, many want to make this the longest and hottest summer of them all.  In memory of Michael Brown, we also say, let us do all we can to make it the very last of its kind in this our Nation.



THE LONG HOT SUMMER:  Ferguson, Missouri, 2014



The fireflies used to light up the night
Just like they’re spose to do come summer
The easy insect songs in darkness
Sparkling like rhinestones sprinkled
Cross the shirt of one of those
Country, western singers
The mosquitoes and the June bugs made no hollar
Yet, the katydids woke up and claimed
That all Creation now is theirs.


How can it be that those so long asleep
May now declare all season, wisdom
Life and blood at their own discretion
With alien sounds no longer outside
But spilling all over the house
Jubilee canceled, unfinished marches for rights
Or freedom, ignoring that justice and outrage
Are now aligned against themselves, the search for summer 

love, and they should be doused in ice water challenge.

The dead are not mourned as if loved or alive in their hearts
The living are not obeyed as if guides to a dream of safety
A jar of ice water, and a breeze from North to South
Unfiltered by the mesh screen, the TV by the window so’s you 

Can see and hear when you sit out on the porch
The steady sounds of rockin chair, or that old love seat
Swing from granddad’s day where, in spite of poverty
We grew up.  The memories of summer where the gas blown 

Up from down in the town now choke one with sorrow.

How can men be satisfied with no more than the knowledge
That their minds and hearts are right
That they have built their home without lies
Without murders, without failing and railing against GOD
How can a man believe himself of value without swearing
Against government, law, patience, and forgiveness
Or look into the face of those to whom his life is pledged
Having created nothing better than a Black Ku Klux Klan
Or a cesspool of godless and lawless liars?


The locust fill the night with plagues, and moans, and fear
Why is there judgment against our quiet days
Surely the burning past that now engulfs the concrete
And the blacktop will soon engulf our future fields
Like rockets launched by Hamas to alter GOD’s
Perpetual divine.  Sleepless, temporarily insane
The problem is some must embrace the problem
The long hot nightmare travels through the mind
The insomnia of riot follows rage.  Cherchez le femme

(08/19/2014)(4.)  Christian believers must reject many premises and unspoken points of truth established at birth that are widely held as carnal thoughts, popular culture, and social consciousness.  For example, it is common to hold that, where GOD has something to say to me, no human may speak for GOD.  GOD must speak for himself.  Such a belief also denies that GOD has authority to appoint or send angels, agents, congregations, covenant people, pastors, or any other representatives as his spokesperson (we say, prophet).  No document, record or holy writings may convey the heart and mind of GOD.  Only his physical appearance and audible voice are acceptable.  More than this, GOD may not appear incarnate (in flesh or human form), for then, he can not be acknowledged as having divine person and power as GOD.  For those who are born again, the content and operations of the flesh and mind are being gradually changed and transformed to constantly maintain genuine spiritual focus.  Created beings and living creatures do not otherwise escape the inborn mechanics of appetite, self, and sensation that continually make the false declarations:  Life is only good when I can get what I want; I can’t live without what I desire; where we can’t have our way we should refuse to obey the command to live; I’ll die if I can’t have my way.

(5.)  For many, observing a principle that GOD is One—an amount or quantity, rather than an immeasurable aspect or quality of existence (we say, spirit)—denies that GOD may at once appear, or be expressed through multiple forms, functions, and person.  Insisting that only a single Supreme Being may be in ones life as an expression of sovereign truth also results in the rejection of admonition, chastisement, comfort, and divine love that are generated and proclaimed by the imparted Spirit of GOD residing within those who are his Creation, his offspring, and his servants.  Curiously, many of those insisting that GOD is One, reject a second principle that also must be upheld:  Nothing shall be impossible for GOD.

(6.)  Because we call it “being saved” and “salvation” many fail to recognize the Gospel calls mankind into a divine process of correction.  As with many aspects of rebirth, eternal life and divinity, the frameworks of time and space must be suspended to embrace the divine victory over sin.  For even though the sinner is destroyed by death, the consequences of their deeds continue indefinitely.  Believers are not to deny or forget their own experience of errors and problems that blocked their access to GOD before coming to Christ.  All are to develop discernment, the ability to identify the spirit content within such focuses as events, messages, motives, objects, other persons, the holy writings, and themselves.   Discernment makes it possible to clearly identify ones own disobedience, doubt, short comings, spiritual needs, and sin; and then correctly apply sacred knowledge for cleansing and permanent change.

(7.)  Clergy, parents, those charged to make critical evaluations or reviews, and all other authority figures will be attacked when they are incorrectly seen to be despots, “false gods,” and manipulators.  The covenant agreement between Christ and a believer that is established through the Savior’s blood and body is a contract for intercession and mediation in judgment that does not immediately eliminate, or remove all sin and temptation.  Also, believers are not relieved of accountability, obligation to GOD, duty, or responsibility within the covenant relationship.  In this sense, salvation is conditional and requires acceptance, communication (e.g., praise, prayer, promise, prophecy), cooperation, discipline, fulfillment of terms, and trust.  Conflict, defiance, doubt, rebellion, and suspicion appear within a church body until believers become balanced, mature and stable through the Holy Spirit. 

(8.)  While public prohibitions of early, pre-marital and same gender sexual experiences are becoming relaxed and suspended on the basis of inclusiveness, political franchise, popular culture, and campaigns by social media among secular communities, the standard within the church community must remain fixed as the expression of sacred law, divine order and eternal purpose.  Almighty GOD is correctly described as loving, responsive, and understanding, yet, he is also immutable and unchanging.  There must be repentance—not necessarily guilt or shame—and the redirecting of ones will regarding things held to be “natural”, normal, and of unquestioned value.  Under the spells of appetite and sensation many young people “innocently” become entrapped within defilement and uncleanness that weaken their bond to GOD.  The unexpected spiritual outcomes from fornication can only be reversed through purification provided from GOD.  Sexual behavior may be thought of as always being dangerous, for the consequences—even with the same couple (a man and his wife) who have had no other partners since sharing loss of virginity on their wedding night, in the same location, under the same circumstances—may vary greatly from one episode to the next (e.g., dissatisfaction, failure to climax, unwanted pregnancy, STDs).  In general, sex is an animal aspect that can not be controlled, or made predictable simply using finite intellect, logic, reason, and science.  While the joining of spirits through sexual activity can be a sacred device to build, heal, and strengthen individuals, through lust, pride and violence sex also becomes an instrument that spreads confusion, cuts off ones divine possibilities, weakens, and destroys.  Sacred knowledge and fellowship within the body of Christ will ever oppose ignorance of divine law regarding sexuality as well as the correct processes for marriage and commitment to ones life companions (e.g., offspring, parents, spouse).


THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?  Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?  Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?  If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.  I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?  But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.  Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?  Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren.  Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived:  neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,  Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.  And such were some of you:  but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.  (1st Corinthians 6:  1-11, KJV)

(08/19/2014) Condemned by the Church?

The church as a divine tool to prepare believers for judgment is the topic, today.  Also, there is more on children embracing the church.  A “Yahoo! Answers” writer using the ID “XOXO love” (Level 2 with 590 points, a member since six years ago) posted the following:


Have any of you out there who are Christians felt judged by the body of Christ? 

This question is also open to those who aren't Christians. no judgement. Lately, I've experienced low faith in my brothers and sisters from a previous church due to pride in the Pentecostal denomination. I may be saved by grace though I have my doubts like everyone else in life. I do not doubt that Jesus died on the cross for me,that he truly is the Son of God , that He rose from the grave and that He lives today. My conflict is towards adult topics such as physical intimacy with a significant other before marriage. I do agree with God's hope for us to wait until marriage to consummate the marriage...though I feel the body of Christ can be judgemental towards those who did not wait. :/


THE BATTLE AXE:  When Children Embrace Church? (08/18/2014)—(5.)  In most instances, a child may only participate in aspects of their own development (for example, artistic, emotional, intellectual, psychological, sexual, social, and spiritual growth) when it is convenient for their parents.  The balance and godly skill it takes to raise a child who truly praises GOD must be supplied from GOD.  The life process is one where both parent and child are to change, grow, and learn apart from one another as well as in by exchange and interaction when together.  Just as children must be taught to put away and take care of their clothing, shoes, and toys, they must be taught to value their birthright and inheritance from GOD.  Like adults, children may become warped through excuse-making, inability to maintain focus (because they have a short attention span), lying, self-importance, and self-justification.  Caretakers and parents may feel as if under a child’s condemnation, criticism, and judgment, and may develop attitudes of anger, avoidance, distrust, doubt, and resentment.  Parents must be mature and secure to love a child, and be certain that their own relationship and walk with GOD is as it should be.  In their efforts to maintain control over another person (their own child) who rightly belongs to GOD, many are consumed by disbelief, failed expectations, lack of sacred knowledge, pride, and sin.   Mary and Joseph, the earthly parents of Jesus, often felt uncertain and weak; and submitted themselves and their child to GOD.  Rather than deliver and shelter us from challenges and problems, the roles of our caretakers and parents can be to prepare, release us, and send us forth.  In that sense, their work is to be with us physically for a short while, and internalized within us as attitudes, beliefs, and values for the rest of our lives.  See again Judges 3:  1-3, Judges 13:  1-16, Proverbs 22:  6 and Luke 2:  1-52, KJV.

“XOXO love”, here are a few points to consider that are vital to full Christian experience:

(1.)  Most believers do not embrace the church with a complete and finished knowledge of who Christ is, and what are the demands they must answer in sacred relationship.  As they start, few truly comprehend the divine goals and eternal purposes of the “new life;” and their continuing experience may seem to be one of repeated disappointments, humiliations, losses, and surprises.  Born again, believers must grow and mature by meeting life challenges in the earth (we say, growing pains, sufferings).  More than simple church attendance, a believer’s  day-to-day becomes one of growth, learning, rising and falling, trial and error.

(2.)  GOD is a spirit who has put forth material beings and objects that are to operate and function in accordance with divine standards.  The revelation of GOD wherein divinity is made known and visible to created beings and living creatures includes multiple sacred operations such as birth, death, forgiveness, judgment, rebirth, resurrection, and sanctification.  As the creator, owner and ruler over all, GOD has unquestionable authority, influence and power over all that is, and assigns value (judges) to all that exists on the basis of inner content, divine substance, and sacred will, not so much actions, attitudes, behavior and conduct.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  Before we attain certain levels of spiritual maturity, it is extremely painful to accept constructive criticism, and godly rebuke.  The church must prepare believers to meet face-to-face with a god of Judgment.  As with idolatry, human sexuality generates profound conflicts against correct relationship with GOD.  Because the church absolutely must demonstrate the divine mind and speak on behalf of GOD, there has to be critical instruction and warnings against fornication (i.e., joining spirits through sexual activity), ignorance, pride, and self-will.  Ones possibilities as a finite human may develop and display an animal or human nature in place of the divine aspect.  Apart from GOD, sin does not appear contrary to ones nature.  Through gradual workings of sacred knowledge, divine law, and operations carried out by the imparted Spirit, believers are changed and transformed (we say, grafted in) to truly be members of Christ.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
