(08/30/2020) Always Connected By Spirit

Today, focus is on the content and process of the church founded by Jesus Christ that now is to be continuing on the earth as a spiritual body, rather than as a man-made institution fashioned to secure human prosperity and well-being. All Christians are connected wherever they are located within the frameworks of time and space. Because the church has been fashioned to reflect the image of GOD and properties of the Holy Spirit, the church is more than merely a local organization. Those who now become saved also become celestial, eternal, individual, indivisible, international, virtual congregants, and those knowing Christ in the life through multiple denominations. Even so, just as Jesus prophesied, as a Christian believer who acknowledges an eternal connection to divinity through Jesus Christ, my friendship, spiritual gifts, sacred knowledge, my willingness to learn, my willingness to serve, my willingness to share, my willingness to teach, and even my love have been unwelcome among many other believers. Included have been fellow Americans, family, former schoolmates, neighbors, and those in other nations. To me having a commitment to Christ has not meant being a member in a church community that has a rich and respected patriotic, racial, or social history. Belonging to a local congregation, and becoming prominent through my financial donations or serving in many important and needed roles has not been meaningful for me. The spiritual transformation sinners are to seek from GOD requires repentance and permanent change of ones consciousness and self-will that result by workings of divinity. Despite speaking of law and social justice, often issues of our flesh and protests within the community where the church is placed (i.e. the world) such as BLACK LIVES MATTER (BLM) can be distractions and sources for error and spiritual confusion. The challenge of Christ to me has been to operate as the Savior does within the divine fullness (i.e., the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit). While yet on the earth, I am to display the consecrated spirit of oneness without sameness that is inseparable from the other aspects of divine makeup that are imparted to mankind as the breath of life. Included are balance, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. In the holy writings, that one spirit is also called the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Prophecy, a spirit of judgment and burning, and the Spirit of Truth. It is written: Mark 6: 3-5: King James Version (KJV): 3 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him. 4 But Jesus, said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house. 5 And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.

Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, I responded to a clergyman who had written on the Internet that he is a “white Christian.” Using the technology that allows us to travel the globe in moments, I replied to him that such thinking placed a gulf between us: there are neither white nor black Christians, only “Christian Christians”. Many of the same persons who will agree that they have been created by one GOD also will argue their independence and separation from every other person created by GOD. Thus, I am impressed to say that commitment to share and work as a follower of Jesus Christ requires the practice of discernment to correctly acknowledge and respond to others who are authentic members of the Savior’s church and kingdom of GOD, rather than apostates, deceivers, heretics, slanderers, or counterfeit and unclean spirits. Even among the clergy, there now are many wolves in sheep-clothing. Believers are to recognize one another by the operations of the Holy Spirit, even where there are differences in age, ethnicity, formal education, gender, language, nationality, political affiliation, race, the practice of ceremonies, rituals, and sacraments as well as the possession of property and wealth. The Holy Spirit who is manifest in local COGIC (Church of God in Christ) congregations of Detroit (Michigan, America) is the same that must appear in cathedral worship at Protestant Canterbury (UK) and Catholic Sagrada Familia (Barcelona, Spain). Surely, every believer having a fresh endowment of the Spirit from GOD through Jesus Christ should find welcome within the gatherings for guidance, instruction, praise, and thanksgiving held among others naming Christ as their head. Most obstacles to godly communication can be reduced and removed through humility, meekness, and genuine reverence. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Acapeldridge:

Ephesians 4: 4-7, King James Version (KJV): 4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. 7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Romans 8: 35-39, KJV: 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

(08/26/2020) The Inheritance From GOD

Every inheritance entails more than a transfer of goods and wealth. Accountability, acknowledgment, duty, renewal, and respect also should appear.

Today, reply is on mankind’s inheritance from the living GOD, and the duty of those abiding on the earth to perform divine service as chosen agents on behalf of the deceased. In addition to blessing, glory and revelation the inheritance from divinity to those on the earth includes covenant relationships, divine law, praise, prayer, promises, prophecy, rebirth, resurrection life through Jesus Christ, sacred events (miracles), sacraments (practices to sanctify believers), and the holy writings. Mankind is correct to confess and proclaim an inheritance from GOD as the heirs of Adam and the Patriarchs. Yet, many respond as did Jacob the son of Isaac, who connived and schemed to gain the benefits and privileges that were to be given his older brother. Jacob first saw the manifestations of the inheritance from GOD hours following the blessing of Isaac. Until then, despite having obtained the birthright of the firstborn from his brother Esau, Jacob experienced only an inheritance directed by and to the flesh. Jacob acknowledged that the vision of angels ascending and descending a ladder to heaven truly was sent by GOD, and he was able to receive the revelation that Christ is above, and is served by the angels. Even so, for Jacob, GOD continued to be only the GOD of Abraham and the GOD of Isaac, and not yet the GOD of Jacob. Properly understood, the living are to fulfill human potential as well as divine proclamation, promises, and prophecy. As agents of those departed, the living are to carry out such necessary tasks as forgiveness, praise, repentance, sacrifice, and thanksgiving. Where the Holy Spirit is present in the awareness and self-will of created beings and living creatures, inseparable aspects of divinity will appear as a fresh endowment of the same life essence that was imparted from GOD to Adam (i.e., breath; spirit; utterance; word). The Incarnation of divinity as Jesus Christ has been provided to further the transformation of mankind to exist as immortal and incorruptible. It is written: 1^st Peter 5: 2-4, King James Version (KJV): 2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; 3 Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock. 4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away. My father verbally promised money to his church before he passed away, but his written will didn't include any such gift?

The attorney followed the will and his church didn't get any money. Now the church is harassing me demanding I give them money.

Is there ever a sutuation where a written and recorded will can be successfully challenged based on a deathbed verbal promise when the person has dementia and is only occassionally lucid?

“Anonymous”, the living may not save the dead through apologies, baptism, and good works; yet, the deceased are to be “remembered”, rather than condemned, and the resurrection life of Jesus is to appear by the dead also. For Christian believers, the character, operations, and substance of inheritance are not to center only on public displays of affection; the transfer of material goods and wealth; the recognition and development of connection and relationship on the basis of shared physical skills, talents and traits (e.g., eye, hair or skin color, height, weight, etc.); or the lawfulness of mandates imposed on ones siblings, spouse, and extended family. There also should be an acknowledgment of personal relationship, and otherwise unseen things that include commitment, enlightenment, intent, and purpose. Rightly understood, inheritance pertains to delegation of sacred authority, dominion, judgment, and priesthood. Just as the outcomes of judgment are not by inheritance and the son is not punished for the sins of the father, forgiveness, repentance and grace are provided as gifts from divinity and expressions of divine prerogative. The primary heir is usually granted a double portion of an inheritance so the “unfinished business” of the deceased may be carried out (e.g., among 3 heirs there are 4 portions; among 6 heirs there are 7). The deceased, who may have been corrupt, wicked and vain, is to be presented to the community at large having a new image and a new name from GOD. Where possible, their remaining debts are to be paid; and benefits and privileges are to be provided in their name that heal, nourish and revitalize the community. The proof that we have truly known the deceased is not that we celebrate or indulge the same appetites and weaknesses they embraced through their lifetime. There will be an acknowledgment of who they could have become, and the affirmation of their hearts, their spirit needs, and their unspoken requests for the things in life that they found to be higher and out of reach. Focus is not on their failures and sins; eternal purpose and what they (and we) may yet accomplish through Christ are the agenda. (08/23/2020) What The Cave Comprehended

I recently heard a sermon broadcast at familyradio.org that included an account of the Cave and the Sun visiting one another so they might understand the other’s repeated references to “darkness” and “light”. As Christian believers, our anchor and focus for answering the challenging discourse and thoughts others share must always be the proclamations, promises, prophecies and unchanging purpose we receive from divinity. In that presentation, the Cave first visited the Sun and was dazzled by the presence of light that appeared to be everywhere. When the Sun made its visit to be with the Cave, the Cave led the Sun to a deep crevice to see gross darkness. However, both the Cave and the Sun saw only light. The Cave displayed isolated pits and other locations to the Sun. However, they all were filled with light. The Cave remarked that these places were filled with darkness until the coming of the Sun; and to me the point of the sermon seemed to be, life throughout Creation was filled with darkness until the coming of Jesus Christ. In reflecting on what I had heard, I realized the Cave and the Sun account is regarded by many as a classic of wisdom, yet, I remained unwilling to become entangled in fleshly truth or discourse that challenges the Bible. Beyond the cycles of darkness that present shadows and night there are multiple aspects of darkness that serve divinity. Included are gross darkness, obscure darkness, unfathomable darkness, and unspeakable darkness. Similar accounts have been found among the Sufi as well as the writings of Plato; and have been held to be an allegory, analogy, or parable distinct from a fable (that provides a lesson using animals and objects that speak). It is written: Isaiah 60: 18-20, King James Version (KJV): 18 Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise. 19 The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory. 20 Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended. Today, reply is made that, for condemned persons to escape hell, there must be the appearance and operation of divinity to anoint and transform their relationships with GOD, rather than merely the operations of forgiveness, peer pressure, or human self-will. The behavior sciences, emotional appeals, beatings, cruelty, punishments, threats, and warnings can not bring about a lasting change in someone’s character and spiritual makeup. Being expressions and workings of the flesh, such influences and manipulations all are temporal in their nature and process. If sins can be forgiven, then what sends a person to hell?

If a serial killer believes in God and that Jesus died on the cross for their sins, why is that person able to go to heaven while a person doesn't believe in God but has done good in their lifetime get sent to hell? God should be more forgiving to his disbelievers.

“Anonymous”, here are some points to consider that at first may seem to be difficult. Forgiveness alone does not correct or eliminate the operations of sin among the living. More than this, it is not enough that there be an invisible, passive, unseen “god” whose character and nature are “good.” From birth, the process of life is additive, and there is a continuing need for judgment. Divinity must become known, approachable, and accessible to all created beings and living creatures. Sin is correctly understood as opposition to the existence of all order put forth by divinity (we also say, divine fullness; the Godhead; the Word; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit). Included are the existence of sacred law; divine self-expression, personhood and prerogative; proclamation, prophecy, revelation; and the sovereign will of GOD. By opposing both existence and life, sin that is no “thing” created or put forth by GOD promotes a return to the conditions of chaos, confusion, and flux that we now speak of as preexistence before heaven and earth where no matter that now appears had presence, and all things were in continual motion without direction. Fixed, immutable, unchanging elements must appear that serve as a reliable foundation for duration, knowledge, meaning, process, substance, and value. The issue of existence goes beyond merely pleasing divinity, obeying authority, becoming mature (i.e., balanced, committed, complete, consistent, stable), human opportunities, or the diverse possibilities among the living. While sin includes blasphemy and contradiction, corruption, defilement, and self-destruction, repentance, rebirth, and resurrection from the dead overturn sin and its effects. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Carol Dennis and the 1^st AME Church (Los Angeles, CA):

“sdadsad”, here, we have to think and speak in terms of sacred proclamations, promises, prophecy, and the revelation from GOD. While the process of divine fullness (we say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) to establish existence and life for mankind has included multiple levels of natural and secular operations that display mechanical patterns and sequences, natural laws, carnal reason, and material substance, the universe is a product of divine self-expression through sacred law, divine order, supreme prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD. The frameworks of time and space do not interfere with or limit divine fullness who may appear using human form and life process (we say the Incarnation as Jesus Christ), yet also appears and is manifest as Spirit without fixed form having the capacity of both measureless contraction and expansion. Long before their birth, a fetus becomes a child and a newborn within the understanding of a mother. The child becomes an object of her affection, a focus for her feelings, thoughts and possibilities, an aspect of continuity for her heritage and inheritance, and may even foster her prayers, sanctification, and thanksgivings to GOD. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Steve Amerson:

(1.) Psalms 78: 5-8, King James Version (KJV): 5 For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children: 6 That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children: 7 That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments: 8 And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not stedfast with God.

Today, reply is on the nature and process of Christian belief and practice appearing as overly conservative, self-centered, and asocial. Properly discerned and acknowledged, the goals of Christian belief do not include manipulating our family members and neighbors, oppressing and persecuting others, self-promotion, or seeking vainglory for oneself. Believers become sanctified (i.e., set apart for sacred service on the basis of their divine content) through the operations of divinity within their awareness, desire, intent, and self-will (willpower). Christians are those who were sinners that entered into new lives of repentance, rebirth, and the resurrection life provided by divinity in Jesus Christ. Often asking oneself, Am I worthy?, developing and mature Christian believers pursue lives of balance, consistency, and stability that will resemble, reflect, and reveal the character, likeness, and nature of Jesus Christ while also accomplishing the goal of providing unselfish service to others. In addition to contemplation, confession, listening, praise, prayer and prophecy, believers are to provide demonstrations, evangelism, guidance, sacred practice, testimonies, and witness in ongoing judgment. Focusing always on Jesus, his followers are to impart godliness, lovingkindness, wisdom and wrath against sin. It is written: John 6: 63-69, King James Version (KJV): 63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. 64 But there are some of you that believe not.
