(12/14/2014) Can Man Kill GOD?

Points are shared, today, on the appearance of GOD as Jesus Christ, GOD as a spirit, and the removal of sin.  A “Yahoo! Answers” writer using the ID “chuck” (Level 1 with 151 points, a member since December 14, 2014) posted the following:

How can man kill god, or the son of god, who is god?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:  God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.  (1st Timothy 3:  16, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:   Made in the Image of GOD? (10/09/2014); All Who Read Convert? (10/10/2014); His Resurrection Still Relevant? (10/05/2014); The Testing of Job? (10/06/2014); Death is a Divine Tool (09/15/2014); A Sleep and a Second Death (09/16/2014)

“chuck”, here are a few points that may help you avoid the spiritual confusion caused through the academic, sarcastic or scholarly answers that you may be given at this site.  Mature Christians generally agree upon the following:

(1.)  GOD is an eternal, immortal spirit who reveals divinity (we say, makes himself known) through specific actions, principles, processes, and relationships.

(2.)  GOD has put forth created beings and living creatures as an expression of active being and person.  Sin has not been created by GOD, and opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and all divine order for the universe.  Sin has no independent existence as someone alive, is without divine function or purpose, yet, when they are apart from GOD, sin may dominate awareness and self-will within the living.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  Not being a material thing, sin can not be destroyed.  For mankind to become aware of sin that operates as an influence or force contrary to its own inborn nature, divine Spirit must take form within flesh and through flesh.  GOD has appeared in the person of Jesus Christ (we say, incarnate) upon the earth; has met the same life challenges that come against all men; and has suffered, died and was raised from the dead to provide a fresh endowment of divine content that enables believers to recognize and resist sin.  More than this, Christ has completed divine operations to permanently remove the lasting and lingering effects of sin.)  I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
