(06/30/2019) The Requirements for Relationship

Christ and Nicodemus

Today, reply is that the full presentation of Jesus Christ in the Scriptures to proclaim his work as the architect of salvation, chief shepherd, redeemer, and savior also must proclaim his work as divine avenger, high priest, sacred judge, and executioner in final judgment. Christ will speak with lawful authority, sacred knowledge, inarguable wisdom, and vision that reveals the content of eternity. The full transformation of mankind to exist as an immortal, incorruptible companion to the divine fullness (i.e., the Godhead; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) requires that the living receive a fresh endowment of life essence (breath; spirit; word) imparted from Deity. Through the ministries of Christ on earth and from heaven, those who are “born again” are granted opportunities to “grow up again” and become mature/ripe for harvest as the offspring of GOD, joint heirs with Christ, and the new creation. It is written: John 3: 11-13, King James Version (KJV): 11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. 12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? 13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile is shown) posted the following:

Did Jesus of Nazareth talk arrogantly?

"I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. (John 15:5-6 NIV)
Update: Arrogantly: characterized by or proceeding from arrogance, or a sense of superiority, self-importance, or entitlement: (www.dictionary.com)

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. 10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. 11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir. Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger. (Isaiah 13: 9-13, King James Version, KJV)

Anonymous”, Christ is most to be recognized among men through his acknowledgment of the Father along with his obedience, respect, and reverence. Redemption and salvation from sin are secured by mankind having an eternal and unbreakable relationship with divinity, who has appeared on the earth as Jesus Christ using the forms and process of human flesh (we say, the Incarnation). The character, makeup imparted from GOD, and divine fullness of Christ must be discerned and recognized through such elements as the operations of divine law, sacred promise, prophecy, unselfish service, and suffering. Inseparable aspects of divinity must appear within Christ as both the Son of Man and Son of GOD that include balance, the distance and impartiality that establish authority as authentic, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Christ is also to be recognized in the absence of brawling, cheap talk, covetousness, deceit, envy, politics, self-promotion, slander, and violence. Consider again the following from the Bible:

1. Psalms 40: 4-8, King James Version (KJV): 4 Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. 5 Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered. 6 Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required. 7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, 8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.

2. Isaiah 28: 14-19, KJV: 14 Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem. 15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves: 16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. 17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place. 18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it. 19 From the time that it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report.

3. John 7: 16-18, KJV: 16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. 17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. 18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

4. 2nd John 1: 7-10, KJV: 7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. 9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 5. John 7: 37-46, KJV: 37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. 38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. 39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) 40 Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet. 41 Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee? 42 Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was? 43 So there was a division among the people because of him. 44 And some of them would have taken him; but no man laid hands on him. 45 Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said unto them, Why have ye not brought him? 46 The officers answered, Never man spake like this man.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(06/28/2019) Death Used in Salvation

Today, reply is on the divine uses of physical and spiritual death that include admonition, release from sin, salvation, and sanctification. It is a common error, even among developing Christian believers, to think that all our obligations to GOD may be met by our good behavior, observing family duties, customs, and tradition; and making outward displays that promote religious teachings. (Examples are attending funerals, feeding the poor, and observing sacred feasts.) Jesus Christ demonstrated that it is more necessary to discern, acknowledge, embody, and respond to the active presence of divine spirit substance; that those who obey divine law also are to make visible the spirit and sacred purposes contained within the law; and that those serve best who share spirit content imparted from the makeup of GOD; and that imparting life from divinity should be priority in our serving GOD. It is written: Luke 9: 53-60, King James Version (KJV): 53 And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem. 54 And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did? 55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. 56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy mens lives, but to save them. And they went to another village. 57 And it came to pass, that, as they went in the way, a certain man said unto him, Lord, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest. 58 And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head. 59 And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. 60 Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God. A fighter in the “Yahoo! What did Jesus mean when He said, Let the DEAD bury the dead in Mathew 8v22?

Update: Do you think Jesus is saying that living human beings are dead without Him?
And if so, how does that change our understanding of what physical death at the end of our lives is?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2: 1-9, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: The Penalty of Death? (04/26/2019); The Solutions From GOD (04/03/2019); Satisfying Creation and Law (01/22/2019); The Elimination of Sin (11/25/2018); Why Punishment After Death? James”, the Scriptures acknowledge death as a condition and process for ones flesh as well as for ones spirit. Divinity continues to use mankinds consciousness of human mortality to establish the authority, character, purpose, and substance of GOD as Creator. Using the concepts of judgment, death and restoration, freedom from sin has been defined along with resurrection, new creation, salvation and eternal life. The following verses from the Bible have provided balance with the continual consciousness of death intended through Jesus Christ:

1. Ecclesiastes 9: 3, King James Version (KJV): 3 This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event unto all: yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead.

2. 1st Timothy 5: 3-7, KJV: 3 Honour widows that are widows indeed. 4 But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to shew piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God. 5 Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusteth in God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day. 6 But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth. 7 And these things give in charge, that they may be blameless.

3. Psalms 115: 16-18, KJV: 16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORDs: but the earth hath he given to the children of men. 17 The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence. 18 But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the LORD.

4. Isaiah 38: 18-20, KJV: 18 For the grave cannot praise thee, death can not celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth. 19 The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth. 20 The LORD was ready to save me: therefore we will sing my songs to the stringed instruments all the days of our life in the house of the LORD.

5. Romans 6: 3-7, KJV: 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

6. Romans 8: 3-11, KJV: 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 7. Revelation 3: 1-3, KJV: And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. 2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. 3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(06/27/2019) The Character of GOD

A depiction of Hannibal crossing the Alps

Today, reply is on realizing the excellence of divine character and substance above human excellence and character. Expressions of consciousness, personhood and self-will that appear as extreme, strange and unlikely for mankind, in fact, are appropriate, correct, and imperative for divinity. Commitment, faithfulness, sacrifice, and unselfishness are not signs of divine self-contradiction and insanity. GOD is the origin of all the inseparable aspects of sacred process and spirit. Included are faith, forbearance, forgiveness, gratitude, hope, impartiality, integrity, judgment, longsuffering, lovingkindness, mercy, optimism, respect, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. It is written: Matthew 21: 37-44, King James Version (KJV): 37 But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son. 38 But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance. 39 And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him. 40 When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen? 41 They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons. 42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lords doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? 43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. 44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Stinky Stan” (Level 7 with 109,622 points, a member since March 17, 2014) posted the following:

I'd like you to think about this and PLEASE don't assume things about the poster of this question.;-)?

You are god, (only temporary) you sent your only son to help us, what did we do? We tortured and murdered him but, instead of unleashing all your wrath on us you simply absolve us from all crimes past and present. Doesn't this sound like pure madness to say the least? ;-)

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. (Hebrews 12: 1-10, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: A Divine Covenant Partner (06/11/2019); Rendering Our Reasonable Service (06/15/2018); Law of the Spirit (12/27/2017); Without the Divine Image? (10/15/2017); Knowing Whats In Man (03/15/2017); Become Like Jesus Christ? (10/27/2016); Actions Make Divine Essence Visible? (12/18/2015); Divinity Has Person? (05/19/2015)

Stinky Stan”, it should not surprise us that the character, personhood, and substance of GOD who is immortal is on a level far above that for mortal, temporal man. More than it takes maturity and a well-ordered mind, apprehending divinity requires having ones own inner deposit of sacred substance imparted from the makeup of GOD. Where we carefully examine the nature and character of mankind using the highest standards and values recorded across different cultures and eras of human history, we are often thrilled to find extraordinary accomplishments of mind, body, and will such as the creation of a one-world empire by the Pharaohs of Egypt who bought all the land, livestock, and the people of Egypt during a famine; the army of Hannibal crossing the Alps with elephants; and the establishment of an orbiting space station. There are numberless secular events that describe our human possibilities and potential. Applying similar patterns for study and understanding of GOD who has fashioned mankind, the spheres of life and the frameworks for time and space, we also find there are holy writings that document numberless sacred events. Included are births by aged and barren women; covenant relationships for mankind with GOD; prophetic demonstrations; the appearance and visitations of angels; and even divinity using human form and process (Incarnation) as Jesus Christ. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. 2nd Timothy 1: 7, King James Version (KJV): 7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

2. Isaiah 55: 6-13, KJV: 6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. 12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. 13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

3. John 3: 1-7, KJV: 1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: 2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

4. John 3: 11-13, KJV: 11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. 12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? 13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 5. Romans 8: 5-9, KJV: 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(06/26/2019) Decently And In Order

Today, reply is on the correctness of spirit gifts, signs and ecstatic worship appearing during church gatherings. The church is shown to be authentic as “the household of faith” through sacred events (miracles), the presence of divine spirit and truth, and the sharing of sacred substance, rather than through programs for secular education, entertainment, family recreation, and social welfare programs. Rather than edify and nourish faith, there are expressions and practices in the church that can generate embarrassment, fear, distrust, division, quarrels, and uncertainty. These worship events may not be plainly condemned or rejected by the full congregation, therefore, such practices are best maintained at home and within ones private chambers for praise, prayer, and contemplation. Examples often are dancing in the Spirit, displays of ecstasy, trances, and the use of tongues without interpretation. It is written: Ephesians 2: 19-22, King James Version (KJV): 19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow-citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

Murmurings and whispers of “Jesus” during a church service?

I recently started attending a new church. I love every part about it, from how scriptural the message is, to how loving the people are.

I have noticed, however, during certain services, things become..different? Once a prophet came and prayed over several people, who broke down crying on the floor. Everyone started whispering and murmuring. People screamed, “thank you Lord!” and “Jesus! Jesus!”. It definitely caught me off guard, as I haven’t seen this in the churches I’ve attended throughout my life.

Would somebody be able to tell me why this happens, or what scriptural reasoning there is for this? I would really appreciate it! I’d like to learn so I can better understand why this takes place. Thank you!

THE GOLDEN ARROW: In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord. Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe. If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad? But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all: And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth. (1st Corinthians 14: 21-25, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Another Appearance of Divinity (06/25/2019); Where Be His Miracles? (05/07/2019); You Will Receive Power? (12/28/2018); Discovering The Holy Spirit (12/23/2018); Diversity and Prophetic Gifts (11/22/2016); The Forms of Prophecy? (04/26/2016); Prayer, Dreams and Messages? (01/27/2015)

Anonymous”, correctly understood, the church is a collection of spirits and a body that regularly gathers to acknowledge divinity who exists as spirit, is immortal, is incorruptible, and is invisible. The authority, dominion, and power of GOD appears through divine operations within the lives of created beings and living creatures who are committed, guided, and become transformed through discovery, gradual growth, fellowship, unselfish service, and suffering. Christian believers become set apart for sacred service (we say, are sanctified) by receiving fresh endowments of life essence (breath; spirit; word) imparted from the makeup of GOD. While living on the earth, and meeting the same life challenges and “growing pains” as others, developing Christian believers all are to receive inseparable aspects of divine fullness (we also say, the Godhead; the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit), and become mature/ripe for harvest by the Lord at his coming. Included are balance, faith, holiness, integrity, longsuffering, lovingkindness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

The church is held to be authentic as an instrument and tool of GOD where immutable, unchanging truth is shared that includes divine law; where the multiple covenants established by GOD with mankind are acknowledged; where the sacred events (miracles) and the promises of GOD are continued; and where there are the appearance of spiritual gifts and sacred substance as an affirmation of commanded expectations (hope), the demonstration and fulfillment of prophecy, and the further revelation of divine prerogative (we also say, grace), eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD.

GOD is not the author or origin of confusion; and the church must practice discipline and restraint. However, there are many systematic and permanent changes a man must undergo to become a life companion with divinity. For example, in water baptism, ones inborn spirit must die and be buried; only then can the believer become reborn through divine DNA (so to speak), and grow to display the fruit of the Spirit. Being a vessel filled with divine seed, the believer will exist as a son or daughter of GOD, a divine heir, and the new creation of Jesus Christ. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. 1st Corinthians 12: 3-11, King James Version (KJV): 3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. 4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

2. 1st Corinthians 14: 26-33, KJV: 26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying. 27 If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret. 28 But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God. 29 Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge. 30 If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace. 31 For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted. 32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. 33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 3. Romans 8: 5-9, KJV: 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(06/25/2019) Another Appearance of Divinity

Today, the reply is on the role of the church as an embodiment of divinity, and whether the church should provide messages on politics and social issues. Often the concerns and conduct we display surrounding such issues as crime, employment, poverty, and voting rights arise from fear, lack of faith, and secular entanglement that oppose the authentic work of Christian growth and spiritual development. By continually pursuing its agenda for redemption, salvation and eternal life the church addresses pressing unmet needs and life priorities that will be fulfilled by no other agencies, authorities, and powers. It is written: Isaiah 60: 14-22, King James Version (KJV): 14 The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee; The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel. 15 Whereas thou has been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations. 16 Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob. 17 For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron: I will also make thy officers peace, and thine exactors righteousness. 18 Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise. 19 The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory. 20 Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended. 21 Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified. 22 A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” forum on Religion and Spirituality using the ID “JOE” (Level 6 with 21,612 points, a member since February 09, 2018) posted the following:

My pastor at church sticks to the scripture and refuses to make politics and issues part of his message, right or wrong?

Update: It's an evangelical church, he's a great orator, but will not go down the politics/religion messaging.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: (Colossians 1: 16-22, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Our Displays of Divinity (06/19/2019); To Be Jesus Sheep (06/10/2019); Scripture Has No Ethnicity (05/27/2019); Commitment To Jesus Christ (03/07/2019); On Diversity and Equality (05/22/2018); Separation of Church and State (07/04/2014); The Point of Wisdom? (07/05/2014); Holy Ground (03/30/2014); The Temple Mount (03/31/2014)

JOE”, for many developing and mature Christian believers, the church is to be acknowledged as a sacred process and a divine tool that is used to reveal and make divinity knowable, known, accessible, and approachable by those who are living on the earth. Like divine law that proclaims and makes present the grace of GOD (we also say, divine prerogative), eternal purpose, prophecy, and the sovereign will of GOD, the church is a physical and social embodiment of Jesus Christ who continues communication, exchange, and interaction with mankind by imparting fresh endowments of inseparable spirit substance from the makeup of GOD. Included are balance, faith, forbearance, holiness, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

In the same way the Bible is a record of GOD appearing through thousands of human and natural events, within thousands of lives, over the course of thousands of years, the church is an appearing of Jesus Christ today through godly character; commandments, determinations, and principles within sacred law as well as the resolution of conflicts and settlement of sacred disputes through applications of divine law; sacred events (we say, miracles); the endurance of sufferings; and the continuance and fulfillment of divine works. The members of the church will not be everyone whose name is listed as enrolled so much as those who voluntarily become sanctified (set apart to serve divinity) by their commitment, their devotion, their giving and financial support, their repentance, their lifestyles, and their daily living routines.

Those who become “born again” as members within the church must “grow up again,” and become mature/ripe for harvest from the earth by the Lord at his coming. Living on the earth as vessels of divine substance, the offspring of GOD, and heirs with Jesus, the church will face many intense life challenges and “growing pains.” even so, the church is reinforced with the promises of GOD. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Psalms 34: 17-19, King James Version (KJV): 17 The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. 18 The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. 19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

2. John 17: 14-19, KJV: 14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. 18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

3. 2nd Corinthians 4: 6-11, KJV: 6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. 8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 11 For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. Galatians 2: 20, KJV: 20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(06/24/2019) Believing That GOD Is

Today, reply is on whether “believing” there is GOD is a matter of acknowledging a broad range of attributes and characteristics (e.g., authority, ethnicity, faith, lovingkindness, personhood, power, race) that require meaningful human responses, or is a simple act of definition for a common object in the life of mankind. According to Christian beliefs, as an emanation from divinity and a creation of GOD, the completeness, integrity, and quality of human existence and life for mankind should vary as a function of divine prerogative, sacred law, eternal purpose, and sovereign will. Thus, it is written: Malachi 1: 6-10, King James Version (KJV): 6 A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name? 7 Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the LORD is contemptible. 8 And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the LORD of hosts. 9 And now, I pray you, beseech God that he will be gracious unto us: this hath been by your means: will he regard your persons? saith the LORD of hosts. 10 Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the LORD of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand. The fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Wisecracker” (Level 05 with 9,341 points, a member since April 07, 2019) posted the following:

Believing in God means more than simply acknowledging His existence. Agree or Disagree?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee?Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts? And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered. Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not. (Malachi 3: 13-18, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: According To Divine Purpose (06/09/2019); From Spirit Not Mud (02/26/2019); That GOD Is Judge (11/01/2018); The Origin And Source (04/26/2018); Sacred Operations By GOD (04/12/2018); What Is A Spirit? (03/06/2018); The Meaning of Worship? (07/09/2014); To Serve GOD Acceptably (07/10/2014)

Wisecracker”, correctly understood, many take “believing” in GOD to be only an emotional, intellectual, and mental process. In fact, however, acknowledging and responding to GOD are operations that depend on spirit process and substance. Where a person thoughtfully reflects on divinity (we also say, divine fullness; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) as being more than another physical object like themselves that definitely has existence, and might also have life, the method and process to make an accurate and complete consideration involves posing multiple questions, pursuing patterns of logical connection, and organizing all the data one may collect to provide a clear presentation of ones process and findings. Academic descriptions, information about “the gods” and reports on their activities will be very different from those presentations shared as priestly sacraments, revelation, and utterances from divinity to maintain communication, exchange, and interaction with mankind.

For many, Christianity has been the most challenging belief system that shares the thoughts and words from divinity to make divine fullness knowable, known, accessible, and approachable. Included have been divine law; covenant relationship; and the appearance of GOD through thousands of events, within thousands of lives, over the course of thousands of years. While divinity ordinarily exists as inseparable spirit substance (e.g., faith, holiness, forbearance, forgiveness, gratitude, humility, personhood, oneness without sameness, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin), divinity also has appeared on the earth as Jesus Christ using the forms and operations of human flesh (we say, the Incarnation).

The character, process, and substance of divinity is Spirit; therefore, GOD is held to be boundless, limitless, and without measurable dimensions. More than this, GOD is the origin for all that exists, for order throughout the universe as well as for all that have life. In Christian belief, it is possible for created beings and living creatures that have consciousness and self-will to receive benefits and privileges sharing relationships with GOD that become possible through spirit substance imparted from the makeup of GOD, divine law, sacred promises, prophecy, eternal purpose, and the sovereignty of GOD. Through devices such as Incarnation, the use of anointed spokespersons (we say, prophets, kings, apostles), the establishment of governments and nations, and the founding of a church on the earth, the existence of GOD is experienced as that of a sentient being who determines multiple aspects of human duration and survival. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Hebrews 11: 6, King James Version (KJV): 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

2. Isaiah 55: 6-12, KJV: 6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

3. Hosea 6: 5-7, KJV: 5 Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and thy judgments are as the light that goeth forth. 6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings. 7 But they like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. Jeremiah 9: 23-24, KJV: 23 Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: 24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(06/23/2019) Preserved As Life Companions

Today, reply is on sinners receiving a new heart, a new mind, and new spirit; becoming the new creation of Jesus Christ; being made immortal to serve in heaven; and being received into a new heaven and earth created by GOD. Many are making the mistake of seeking to put away guilt, sin, and shame by denying GOD, ignoring Jesus Christ, and responding as skeptics to the Holy Spirit, rather than embrace the gifts from divinity for salvation. For Christian believers, remembrance of sin is to operate as admonition, guidance, and warning, and is not to continue as a lingering form of corruption, decay, and rottenness. Truth is to remain unchanged, yet, fear, guilt and shame are to be put away. To receive Christian belief is to become permanently transformed through multiple operations of divinity that separate the living from sin. The hearts and minds of all in heaven will be emptied of such thoughts as grudges, pay back, relationships of obligation, and revenge. All will be on the plane of perfection where no one will question the correctness of forgiveness imparted through the grace and judgment of GOD. The truest manifestations of accepting divine rule, accountability, forgiveness, and godly love always will appear. On the question of Levirate marriage commanded in the law and the prophets to maintain stability for inheritance and property ownership within Israel, it is written: Mark 12: 18-26, King James Version (KJV): 18 Then come unto him the Sadducees, which say there is no resurrection; and they asked him, saying, 19 Master, Moses wrote unto us, If a mans brother die, and leave his wife behind him, and leave no children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother. 20 Now there were seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and dying left no seed. 21 And the second took her, and died, neither left he any seed: and the third likewise. 22 And the seven had her, and left no seed: last of all the woman died also. 23 In the resurrection therefore, when they shall rise, whose wife shall she be of them? for the seven had her to wife. 24 And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God? 25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven. 26 And as touching the dead, that they rise: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? 27 He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err. The fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality with the ID “Greg” (Level 1 with 4 points, a member since September 05, 2015) posted the following:

If you end up in heaven with someone who killed your loved one (and your loved one is in hell), are you truly yourself in heaven?

Imagine the following scenario:

A loving married couple (who are atheists) are attacked by a bugler in their home. The burglar ends up murdering the wife. The wife ends up in hell.

Later on in life, the burglar ends up converting to Christianity while in prison. The husband ends up converting to Christianity also later in life. Both the burglar and the husband die of natural causes and are in heaven. According to Christianity, all people in heaven are happy and there is no sorrow.

So, will the husband truly be himself if he's in heaven with the guy who murdered his wife while his wife is burning in hell?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil. Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christs sake hath forgiven you. (Ephesians 4: 21-32, King James Version, KJV)

Greg”, believers do not go to heaven as a holiday or a vacation. By mistakenly focusing on the cruelty, sins, transgressions of divine law, and wickedness that the living commit on the earth, many also fail to apprehend the eternal purpose, process, and substance of divine judgment along with resurrection of the saints for service, and the truth that heaven, as we speak of it now, will not exist forever. Where sinners turn to GOD through Jesus Christ, they are guided and supplied with spirit gifts from the makeup of divinity that include faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, repentance, wisdom, and wrath against sin. As those who are “born again”, developing Christians must “grow up again” to become mature/ripe for harvest by the Lord at his coming. Christians must face the same life challenges and growing pains endured by others on the earth; and all will be examined against the life and work of Jesus Christ for their fitness to endure as immortal, incorruptible companions to divinity.

Those who go to heaven do so as immortal companions of Jesus who will complete divine works already begun in heaven and on the earth. Included will be completing construction and allotments for the Holy City, completing the white throne judgment, executing the second death, and repopulating the earth. Divine judgment proceeds on the basis of multiple levels of lawful demands and requirements by the active presence of spirit from GOD, rather than on finite human desires, discrete events, emotions, and carnal reason. No one will be admitted to heaven “by accident,” neither will any be overlooked and unjustly denied. Following their judgment, those in heaven from the earth will be acknowledged as offspring of GOD, joint-heirs with Christ, and the new creation from the Son of the Highest. Their awareness and self-will, once dominated by operations of sin, will be forever impermeable, sealed and shielded through their anointing and fresh endowments from the Lord. Their character, personalities, personal relationships, sins, and struggles while on the earth, will not be remembered. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. 1st Corinthians 15: 50-57, King James Version (KJV): 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

2. Revelation 3: 11-12, KJV: 11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. 12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 3. Revelation 21: 3-5, KJV: 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write:  for these words are true and faithful.)
