More is shared on America, benefits from the death of Jesus upon the cross, and racism. Diversity as the tool of divinity is used to establish beauty as well as movement and process apart from change. Racial hatred opposes the continued existence of divine love, of GOD as impartial in judgment, and of such intimate relationship as a friend of GOD (as was granted Abraham) or a child of GOD (as granted to Adam). In the process of GOD, men will be set apart (we say, anointed, endowed, sanctified) or used within hierarchies, yet, not arbitrarily exalted above other men. Judgment and salvation are from GOD; racism, sin and wickedness are not. Condemnation on the basis of divine law is far different from condemnation on the basis of class, politics, privilege, reputation, social standing, and status. Moved by the Spirit of GOD, believers are separated from others by their attitude, convictions, desires, lifestyle, sacred knowledge, their message, and their vision. Among most nations, today, issues of race can not be easily separated from the practical issues of discrimination, imbalance, injustice and prejudice concerning employment, income and poverty, inheritance, opportunities for advancement through education, ownership of real property (we say, land), and recurring ungodly expressions of anger, fear, and hatred. In Scripture, conflict and marked differences often appear as divine tools to crystallize and distinguish the will of GOD, who is otherwise invisible and unseen. Because divine law establishes equity, freedom, and justice, mature Christian belief often promotes cultural diversity, ethnic pluralism, a birth right to exercise ones own conscience in deciding specific spiritual matters for oneself, varieties of spiritual expression, and unity through shared purpose. Thus, where arbitrary differences and expressions contrary to divine purpose (e.g., atonement, eternal life, rebirth, salvation, sanctification) are exalted, Christians take it that sin, idolatry, and death are being promoted. Repeated attempts were made to assimilate the Jews, and end their existence as a nation, and people. At no time has their preservation by GOD as his peculiar people and chosen endorsed any practice by them of egotism, pride, self-promotion, and vanity as though their ethnicity and human characteristics were uppermost, and not divine grace. During his ministry upon the earth, Jesus encountered conflicts and prejudice on the basis of cultural differences, historical divisions among the Hebrews, his own ethnic origin, and his status as a prophet sent from GOD. Similarly, the holy record identifies what we today label as “hate crimes,” malice, and racism. In the same way divine law describes and details transgression and sin so that believers are shielded by discernment (i.e., the use of spiritual things to recognize and respond to other spiritual things), the holy writings also depict and expose various instances of bias, ethnic arrogance, false judgment, hypocrisy, persecution, and racism. Like bragging and gossiping to entertain others, complaining and condemning a shared enemy is often practiced as though it correctly establishes a lasting bond between total strangers. Believers are cautioned against such common features of life experience as covetousness and entitlement (claiming a right to, and wanting whatever you see others have); envy (denying that others may have whatever they enjoy); family feuds; suspicion and violence against the rich; and despising politicians and government officials (often called publicans, scalawags, tax collectors, turncoats).
