(07/05/2014) The Point of Wisdom?

Discernment, divine wisdom, and law are in view, today.  Also, there is more on the separation of Church and State.  A “Yahoo! Answers” fighter using the ID “Pheby” (Level 6 with 15,506 points, a member since July 10, 2012) posted the following:

What wisdom means to God? God knows the entire universe is His then what is the point of His wisdom?

THE BATTLE AXE:  Separation of Church and State (07/04/2014)—(6.)  The State Has a Duty to Promote Dialog, Diversity, Inquiry and Research.  Where the charter and constitution of a State is a contract and solemn pledge taken up by a group of people to be duty and honor bound as companions who share the burdens, difficulties, and fruit of shared labor, there is also agreement to share materials, means and methods for growth, learning, and continuing progress.  An atmosphere, mechanisms, and opportunities for communication and exchange must be established along with devices for disseminating, distributing, and determining the value of information and ideas.  Public schools, colleges, and university systems are one form of the many tools the State may provide or support.  Additionally, there may be libraries, broadcast media (such as radio, TV), public forums (including the Internet), and publishing houses.  The shared objective of survival also entails acknowledging differences, correctly managing available human resources, responding to multiple changes and crises as well as fostering, storing, and quality control for the pool of shared life experience (we say, heritage, tradition).  Thus, ensuring freedom of expression, open and public debate of issues, and a right to free speech are priorities that characterize genuinely prosperous and stable nations. Consider again Jeremiah 29: 4-7, Matthew 6: 24-34, Matthew 18: 3 and Revelation 11: 14-16, KJV.

(7.)  Salvation is Based on Ones Content not Affiliation, Ancestry or Nationality.  Achieving American citizenship does not automatically make those immigrating to the United States a Christian, also.  Every American has not accepted, or secured a place within the kingdom of GOD.  While America is not the kingdom of GOD—nor is Great Britain, India, Ireland, Israel, Jordan, Pakistan, Russia, Saudi Arabia, the Vatican, or any other state that may be named as members of the United Nations—every country now includes citizens who do have place in the kingdom of GOD as believers in Jesus Christ.  Such features as climate, family, geographical location, and rural or urban setting often determine the routine experiences available to a person, and therefore, determines the choices and decisions that appear as ones lifestyle.  Yet, where permanent changes occur within a person’s spirit content, changes should also become visible in their alertness, attitudes, behavior, conduct, deportment, readiness for spiritual instruction, receptiveness, and their overall sense of priorities and purpose.  To date, there is no evidence indicating that America has been more effective or successful as a nation attracting, building up, nourishing, or preserving the Spirit of Christ among its citizens.  Just as believers do not achieve salvation on the basis of how many books of holy writing they have read, the overall quality of public education in the communities where they reside, or the number of churches and cathedrals that appear, no one gains their salvation on the basis of where they are baptized, whether they make a pilgrimage and the “holy land” tour, the amount of alms and tithes they give, or how many hours they volunteer to charity.  Certainly such practices and resources can make a difference in ones confidence, poise, and the content they will share with other believers, and with those to whom they minister.  However, salvation is only by grace, through faith.  See again Psalms 33: 12, Matthew 3: 8-10, Luke 17: 20-21, John 18: 36, 1st Corinthians 12: 3, Ephesians 2: 8-9 and Galatians 3: 13-14, KJV.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame:  and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot.  Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee:  rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.  Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser:  teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.  The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom:  and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.  (Proverbs 9:  7-10 KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  The Right Place to Get Knowledge? (02/17/2014); Arguing Against the Bible in Church? (02/18/2014); A Start for the Idea of GOD? (09/09/2013); The Bible and Genealogy (09/10/2013); Life Given By Knowledge? (04/03/2012); A Spirit Church? (04/04/2012); Before the Fruit? (11/10/2012); Why "Mysterious" (11/11/2012)

“Pheby”, here are a few points needed for Christian belief that may help you gain understanding:

(1.)  Wisdom pertains to continuing existence, to the quality of life experience, and to survival.  Created beings and living creatures have been endowed with aspects of wisdom from GOD.  Thus, it is by wisdom that men seek correct and full knowledge of GOD.

(2.)  Divine wisdom allows the living to address things that can not be immediately detected by their senses (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching), and that escape awareness because they are internal as a part of oneself (we say, too close).  Examples are bias, prejudice, racism, and sin.  Because such things have no material form, and cannot be held in ones hand or put into your pocket, we count them as invisible, yet knowable through their consequences and effects.

(3.)  Law and discernment are forms of wisdom from GOD that may be found among mankind.  Discernment is the ability to use ones own spirit content to recognize the spirit substance in such features of experience as events, objects, other persons, prophecy, purposes, and holy writings.  The living must have divine wisdom in order to embrace the full revelation of GOD (i.e., what GOD is displaying, showing, and wants us to know about divinity), and to be in a fruitful relationship with the Almighty.  Wisdom also allows one to detect things that are diabolical, subtle (characterized by barely visible differences; having hidden shifts in meaning and value), or remote and unseen, yet, are threatening to mankind.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  For example, (4.)  Christian believers receive a readiness to learn and apply wisdom through the process of baptism (death of ones inborn spirit, rebirth from divine DNA, so to speak).  Those born again must “grow up” again by meeting the same challenges of life given to all upon the earth.  Sacred wisdom is acquired gradually through experiences of the new life in Christ that come by such features as fellowship with believers who have attained wisdom, by praise and prayer, by regular practice of sacraments, by correct study of the Scriptures, by giving and unselfish service, and by continual reverence and right worship.  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
