Admonition and Scripture points are shared, today, on atonement, the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and his unfinished works of salvation.  More than resurrection from death, mankind must obtain mercy and grace.  Thus, the process and works of the Son are united with separate operations from the Father and the Holy Spirit.  Readers at “Yahoo! Answers” have been given this caution:  Stay alert, there are hostile forces here.  Recognize where these questions and challenges are coming from.  It is written:  John 10:  17-19, King James Version (KJV):  17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.  18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.  19 There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings.  Also, important is Hebrews 10:  4-9, KJV:  4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.  5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:  6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.  7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.  8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;  9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. If Jesus died for us then why did he resurrect himself?

“Anonymous”, the appearance (Incarnation) of eternal, immortal GOD as Jesus Christ required Deity display mortality, vulnerability, and all the human processes of birth, acquisition, aging, and growth.  Along with demonstrations of submission to custom, law, and tradition, there had to be challenge, forward-thinking, holy boldness to introduce new divine testimony, and strength to abide as sanctified (i.e., set apart as an instrument of divinity).  In the revelation to Christian believers, Jesus Christ is discovered as Son of the Highest, and a High Priest of the Temple in heaven.  The death of Jesus upon the cross provided the only blood acceptable for atonement of sin.  Christ is returned to the heaven, because more than atonement must be performed by the Savior.  The conditions and processes of salvation require one who is alive forever.  In addition to cleansing the Sanctuary, there are the works of judgment upon the church, the completion of the New Jerusalem, the allotment of portions within the Holy City to believers as well as preparation for the Advent (Second Coming).  Consider again these points from the Bible:

(1.)  John 14:  1-6, King James Version (KJV):  1 Let not your heart be troubled:  ye believe in God, believe also in me.  2 In my Father’s house are many mansions:  if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.  3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.  4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.  5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?  6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:  no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

(2.)  Hebrews 7:  24-28, KJV:  24 But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.  25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.  26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;  27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s:  for this he did once, when he offered up himself.  28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.

(3.)  Hebrews 3:  1-3, KJV:  1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;  2 Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.  3 For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house.

(4.)  Hebrews 4:  14-16, KJV:  14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.  15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.  16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

(5.)  Hebrews 8:  1-3, KJV:  1 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum:  We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;  2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.  3 For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices:  wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.

There are many other verses that should be carefully considered, correctly understood, and spiritually received as a divine word of edification from the Father.  (For example, (6.)  Revelation 19:  9-11, KJV:  9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.  10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not:  I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus:  worship God:  for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.  11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
