(08/22/2019) Comfort Through New Life

The image of one child comforting another depicts what should be the divine process within the church where every member supports the others.

Today, reply is on divinity as the comforter of Christian believers who are continuing in the human predicament. Christians do not have direct and immediate physical access to Jesus Christ as the Head of the church. Therefore, the comfort we speak of as divinity drying all our tears as we continue to meet life challenges and conditions on the earth are imparted to mankind through gifts and operations by the Holy Spirit (also called, the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Prophecy, the Spirit of Truth). Included are higher levels of faith, healing, praise, prayer, prophecy, thanksgiving, and visions from the ministries of Jesus Christ that otherwise could not appear. The present provisions where believers are to display forbearance, forgiveness, mercy and spirit content from GOD to one another are not the same as those that will appear following the Second Coming of Jesus, when Christ will meet in the air those who are members of his body on the earth. Thus, it is written: Revelation 21: 1-5, King James Version (KJV): 1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. A writer in the “Yahoo! Answers” forum using the ID “Peter” (Level 3 with 1,225 points, a member since May 14, 2019) posted the following:

What does it mean in Christianity when they say the Holy Spirit is the comforter?

I picture comforter is like a mother comforting her kid when he’s been bullied at school. Is this the Holy Spirit’s role? My religion is Christianity, Roman Catholic.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; (2nd Corinthians 5: 17-18 King James Version, KJV)

Peter”, here are some expressions of Christian faith that, at first, may not seem familiar to you. The comfort believers are to receive from Jesus Christ while he is attending to duties as the High Priest of the Temple in heaven (even the cleansing of the Sanctuary), requires that the Lord be acknowledged in the earth by his use of appointed agents (e.g., apostles; prophets; priests; lay members of the sacred body, the church), and such devices as gifts from the Holy Spirit who is also an aspect of divine fullness (we say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit). Where believers receive a fresh endowment of the same life essence (breath; spirit; word) that was imparted to Adam, we may say they are “born again” and must “grow up again” while living on the earth. Their transformation to exist as eternal, immortal companions to divinity will be completed as they are instantly made mature/ripe for harvest by the Lord at his coming.

The comfort the church receives must go beyond the day-to-day elements of our lives that focus in things carnal, emotional, material, physical, and social. For Christians, having to be accountable to others is not to be regarded as suffering; nor are being required to pay ones debts, or providing food, meaningful activity, rest, and shelter for ourselves, or others. Believers are to display Christ-likeness (the image of GOD) bestowed on them through inseparable aspects of spirit substance imparted from the makeup of divinity. Included are faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, personhood, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Increasingly, ones lifestyle and daily routine will be permanently changed by the Holy Spirit through experiences of discovery, gradual growth, study, unselfish service, and suffering.

The comfort to mankind must address the human predicament that includes man being finite and mortal; man being subject to the operations of sin; man being powerless to correctly recognize, resist, and respond to sin; and man being unable to establish separation from sin by relying on self-will (human willpower). The tools for sharing divine comfort, therefore, are such things as commitment, faithfulness, hope, and integrity. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. 2nd Corinthians 1: 3-7, King James Version (KJV): 3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; 4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. 5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ. 6 And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. 7 And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.

2. Romans 6: 3-5, KJV: 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

3. 1st Thessalonians 4: 13-18, KJV: 13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

4. Colossians 3: 9-15, KJV: 9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; 10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: 11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. 12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 5. Romans 8: 5-9, KJV: 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(02/03/2019) Divine Revelation Not Showmanship

Today, reply is on the progression of sacred events that will continue the eternal revelation of divine fullness (i.e., divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) through the embodiment and Incarnation of GOD as Jesus Christ. It is foolishness and sin to regard the earthly life and ministry of Jesus that includes death, suffering, atonement, forgiveness of sin, resurrection, and salvation to be a mere trick, a magicians illusion, or a practiced stage performance to entertain an audience. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “John” (Level 1 with 93 points, a member since May 26, 2013) posted the following:

A hard act to follow?

Jesus coming back with a resurrection was a cracking move coming up with that was brilliant !but a hard act to follow if you could ask him to do something else what would it be

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. (Revelation 1: 7-8, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: A Single Sacred Revelation (01/09/2019); Divinity Embodied In Flesh (12/30/2018); Sacred Characters, Not Fictional (12/12/2018); Watching The Science Channel? (10/17/2018); Doing GOD’s Plan (02/20/2014); “Prayer Death”? (02/21/2014)

John”, where sinners will see only entertainment, melodrama, and stories of crime and suspense, believers who take up the Scriptures are to see the blueprints and practical plans they must follow to raise up the church headed by Jesus Christ and the new creation. Mature Christian believers are encouraged to acknowledge the holy writings and their record of Jesus Christ to be an authentic appearing of divinity that may be apprehended by all created beings and living creatures. The Scriptures themselves convey and infuse spirit matter from the makeup and substance of GOD; and are not dependent on such finite human tools as instinct, intellect, intuition, logic, philosophy, carnal reason, science, and critical thinking. Expressing divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and sovereign will, the active presence who is Creator acts to make himself knowable, known, accessible, and approachable. The revelation of divine fullness (we also say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) is a sacred process that focuses on GOD who is immortal, immutable, invisible, and unchanging. Divine tools are used that project change and motion (e.g., discovery, diversity, growth, mystery, prophecy, repetition, sequence, vision); however, these tools also suspend and transcend the fixed frameworks of natural law along with those of time and space. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. 1st Peter 2: 1-5, King James Version (KJV): 1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, 2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: 3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. 4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, 5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

2. 1st Corinthians 2: 7-13, KJV: 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which mans wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

3. Hebrews 6: 1-3, KJV: 1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, 2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 3 And this will we do, if God permit.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. Revelation 1: 1-6, KJV: 1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: 2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. 4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; 5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, 6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(12/10/2018) How GOD Speaks Today

Today, reply is on the mechanisms for communication within the community of faith that is the church, the spiritual body of Christ. In the same way divinity has appeared embodied as divine law, and using flesh displayed as Jesus Christ (we say, the Incarnation), divinity continues ministering on the earth within the members of the church through a fresh endowment of life essence (we say, breath; spirit; word). The imparted Spirit establishes the character, presence, and substance of GOD (we say, the image of GOD; the divine nature) within the followers of Christ that include faith, forbearance, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. All sacred communication is apprehended and transmitted through operations of spirit (e.g., confession, praise, prayer, prophecy, repentance, revelation, supplication, thanksgiving). Christ as head of the body will direct and focus consciousness and self-will (willpower) within all who become joined to GOD through himself. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile is shared) posted the following:

How does God speak to us today?

THE GOLLDEN ARROW: Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. (2nd Peter 1: 2-8, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: How GOD Is Communicating (10/31/2018); Incurring “The Second Death” (04/02/2018); GOD Appearing As Christ (12/03/2017); In Order To Understand (12/01/2017); Wisdom In A Mystery (11/22/2017); The Device of Incarnation (10/18/2017); Jesus Known As Word (01/17/2016)

Anonymous”, GOD communicates through praise and prayer that are operations of both flesh and spirit. The revelation from divinity is ongoing, and employs multiple devices including baptism (death, burial, and rebirth of ones inborn spirit), covenant relationships, doctrine, enduring hardship, liturgy, parables, promises, prophecy, and unselfish service. Sinners who become developing Christian believers are encouraged to consider the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Hebrews 1: 1-4, King James Version (KJV): 1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high: 4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

2. Ephesians 4: 9-15, KJV: 9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? 10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

3. 1st Corinthians 2: 7-14, KJV: 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. Revelation 2: 10-11, KJV: 10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. 11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(10/25/2018) Transgression of Sacred Law?

Today, reply shares Christian beliefs regarding adultery, fornication, the betrayal of divinity, and the seventh commandment of the Decalogue. Husbands and wives are not merely to show respect to one another; they are to reverence (acknowledge) the sacred presence, eternal purpose, and divine qualities residing within one another. The fighter using the ID “GenuineGuy” (Level 1 with 1 point, a member since August 30, 2011) posted the following in the “Yahoo! Answers” Religion and Spirituality public forum:

What is adultery?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband. (Ephesians 5: 22-33, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Two Become One Flesh (01/07/2018); Faithless Israel, Unfaithful Judah? (08/18/2017); On Law and Sin (06/07/2017); The GOD Named “Jealous” (09/15/2016); Iniquity Forgiven? (02/16/2016); We Call Him Jealous? (10/25/2015); GOD and Adultery? (06/11/2014); A Hardened Spirit? (06/12/2014)

GenuineGuy”, many of the understandings among mature Christian believers at first appear harsh and imposing. Adultery is more than simply an issue of joint ownership of material property, forswearing oneself (we say, breaking your promise; not keeping the marriage vows), and sharing sexual behavior or pursuing romantic relationships outside of ones marriage. Adultery is conduct that opposes the continued existence of divine law (we say, iniquity; sin; transgression; wickedness). Adultery annuls, overturns, and undermines the integrity and soundness of personal accountability; duty; covenant relationships; proclamations of divine will; prophecy; sacred promises as well as the immutability and weight of final utterance (we say, breath; speech; spirit; truth) that establish lasting bonds. Adultery usually entails fornication (i.e., the defilement of ones own spirit makeup and that of their spouse through sexual joining with unknown and unseen partners who earlier had sexual contact with the adultery-partner that are not physically present and visible).

Throughout the holy writings, the dominion and sovereign rule of divinity over Creation is described and expressed using language and names that indicate GOD is not a mere abstraction or product from the human mind; and divinity operates through continuous relationship such as seen with marriage and parenting. While GOD, whose name also is Jealous, will remain immortal and invisible, Deity is to be known as accessible and approachable like ones own father, or their own spouse. Thus, the figures and types that created beings and living creatures are to use when speaking of GOD include, betrayal, divorce, fidelity, forgiveness, holy matrimony, inheritance, joining, permanence, playing the whore, and reconciliation. Consider again the following from the Bible:

(1.) Isaiah 54: 4-9, King James Version (KJV): 4 Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more. 5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called. 6 For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God. 7 For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. 8 In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer. 9 For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.

(2.) Titus 2: 1-8, KJV: 1 But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine: 2 That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience. 3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; 4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. 6 Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded. 7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, 8 Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.

(3.) Ezekiel 23: 36-39, KJV: 36 The LORD said moreover unto me; Son of man, wilt thou judge Aholah and Aholibah? yea, declare unto them their abominations; 37 That they have committed adultery, and blood is in their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery, and have also caused their sons, whom they bare unto me, to pass for them through the fire, to devour them. 38 Moreover this they have done unto me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day, and have profaned my sabbaths. 39 For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and, lo, thus have they done in the midst of mine house.

(4.) Galatians 5: 19-23, KJV: 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (5.) Revelation 21: 1-3, KJV:  1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(01/20/2017) Installing The New President

Today, topics include using the Bible in America when affirming oaths of office, and the separation of church and state.  Millions of Americans from every faith will appeal to GOD and make petitions through prayer on behalf of the Nation and its leadership.  Yet, the inauguration to install our 45th President will be a secular ceremony, not an act of anointing, consecration, ordination, or worship.  Affirming an oath is like agreeing to be accountable by signing ones own signature.  Despite “pomp and circumstance,” many mature Christian believers acknowledge the holy writings as a form of the divine presence, and will continue to call forth and evoke other benedictions, sacred blessings and displays of divine power.  Similarly, the gesture of placing ones hand upon the Bible continues to be widely understood as a silent prayer for divine gifts and tools that may include approval, courage, guidance, hope, miracles of order instead of chaos and confusion, prosperity, virtue, vision, and wisdom.  Lawful citizenship for all Americans is a status established by the giving and fulfilling of promises.  Where one makes or swears to an oath, they jeopardy and place at risk their good name and reputation as having honesty and quality.  So to speak, their words are to be validated by the excellence, fruitfulness, and integrity of their unselfish actions and service.  A fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “2017” (Level 7 with 61,448 points, a member since December 25, 2008) posted the following:
Why is the bible used to swear in official things like the inauguration and in courts, when church and state is supposed to be separate?
THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,  Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.  And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.  For men verily swear by the greater:  and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.  Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:  That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:  Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;  Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.  (Hebrews 6:  13-20, King James Version, KJV)

“2017”, in effect promises and solemn oaths are taken agreeing to forfeit and suffer loss of ones most precious possessions in payment for failure to complete the terms of a contract.  The system of government for America is a Democracy among representatives of the populace (we say, a Republic).  The goal of the Nation’s founders was to fashion a social covenant that would combine and secure the highest known benefits, influences, principles, values, and visions.  While there may be a huge percentage of the Nation’s citizens committed to systems of belief such as Christianity, a constitutional structure is in place to insure balance, fairness, and full participation for all through law.  The church is to always have a presence through the citizens as they exercise franchise being a free people, rather than by operating as a controlling institution.  The social traditions where a person is “sworn in” to serve in government offices, various roles during legal procedures (e.g., expert witness, jury member, translator), and positions that entail continuing trust (e.g., first responders, law enforcement officers, medical practitioners) acknowledges that endorsement and evidence for the validity of a person’s word must come from a higher and objective source, and may not merely be subjective and on the authority of that person’s opinions of himself.   Completeness and integrity for every living creature goes beyond the “gang of three” (i.e., me, myself, and I), and pertains to the absolute sum of their total substance and worth that appears through their acts of self-will), exchange within ongoing relationships, and utterance (we say, breath, life essence, speech, spirit, word).  Described in simple language, we say, A man is as good as his word.  By “good” reference is made to aspects of character and maturity such as accountability, consistency, dependability, honor, nobility, predictability, reliability, righteousness, stability, and trustworthiness.  At the onset of their service, there must be a clear display of a person’s determination to carry out and ethically fulfill the contracts, duties, and obligations of citizenship—even at the cost of their lives.  Thus, their committed and principled conduct will mark and set apart the entire Nation as distinguished and excellent.  Consider again the following:
(1.)  Numbers 30:  2, King James Version (KJV):  2 If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.
(2.)  Deuteronomy 23:  21-23, KJV:  21 When thou shalt vow a vow unto the LORD thy God, thou shalt not slack to pay it:  for the LORD thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee.  22 But if thou shalt forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in thee.  23 That which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt keep and perform; even a freewill offering, according as thou hast vowed unto the LORD thy God, which thou hast promised with thy mouth.
(3.)  Matthew 23:  16-22, KJV:  16 Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!  17 Ye fools and blind:  for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?  18 And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty.  19 Ye fools and blind:  for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?  20 Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon.  21 And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein.  22 And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon.
(4.)  James 5:  12, KJV:  12 But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath:  but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.
There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  Matthew 12:  35-37, KJV:  35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things:  and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.  36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.  37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

(01/17/2017) Servants To The Body?

Today, reply is made on differences among roles as clergy within the body of Christ, his church upon the earth.  While it is the duty of all Christian believers to display the active presence of GOD as vessels of the imparted, indwelling Spirit, there are specific duties and tasks within assemblies and congregations that set some members apart through accountability, anointing, authority, division of labor, hierarchy, and witness.  Included are apostles, bishops, deacons, pastors (to oversee the gathering and waiting of flocks), and priests.  A writer at “Yahoo! 7 Answers (Australia)” using the ID “Parka” (Level 2 with 611 points, a member since November 12, 2016) posted the following:
What is the difference between a priest, preacher, and a minister?
THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:  So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.  Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;  Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering:  or he that teacheth, on teaching;  Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation:  he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.  (Romans 12:  4-8, King James Version, KJV)
THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  A Servant and More (08/17/2016); Holy Garments? (09/24/2015); Those Having the True Secrets? (04/14/2015); How Many Apostles? (04/30/2014); The Ruler Of the Earth? (05/01/2014); On Judging Preachers as “Fake” (12/23/2013); Jesus Arose Bodily (12/24/2013)
“Parka”, many mature Christians believers acknowledge Jesus Christ as a divine High Priest as well as a sacrificial lamb offered to the Most High.  Among Christians there are several offices representing divinity that display authority as ordained and set apart (consecrated) to be sacred servants (we say, clergy).  Many confuse the terms “priest”, “preacher”, and “minister” because they think they all are to carry out the same tasks and provide the same benefit within a congregation.  Correctly understood, only priests are those sanctified to make offerings and sacrifices of blood and life upon the holy table (i.e., the altar) that may be thought of as the “point of contact” between heaven and earth.  Otherwise “common” things that are offered to GOD must be cleansed, sanctified by prayer, and transferred to heaven by being burned upon the altar in holy fire.  The fire (that also represents judgment) destroys separation, sin and uncleanness while releasing the spirit content of the gifts that may include awe (i.e., fear of the Lord), gratitude, joy, praise, respect, reverence, and wonder.  Preachers are those whose duty is to make proclamations from the sovereign ruler of the divine kingdom.  Thus, they operate as those who prophesy (i.e., comfort, edify, exhort), as teachers of the holy writings, and as spokespersons sent from GOD.  Ministers are those who maintain the house of GOD by providing “behind the scenes support” and assistance to those in consecrated office.  Ministers, therefore, are important through their work to foster the administration, distribution and management of spirit substance and sacred gifts.  Included among ministers are deacons, prayer and study leaders as well as those who prophesy through music (choir, orchestra, etc.).  Consider the following points from the Bible:
(1.)  Ephesians 4:  10-12, King James Version (KJV):  10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)  11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;  12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
(2.)  Luke 9:  46-48, KJV:  46 Then there arose a reasoning among them, which of them should be greatest.  47 And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took a child, and set him by him,  48 And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me:  and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me:  for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.
(3.)  1st Corinthians 12:  1-6, KJV:  1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.  2 Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.  3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed:  and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.  4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.  5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.  6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Romans 8:  5-9, KJV:  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

(01/01/2017) Fundraising A Sacred Practice?

Today, the first day of 2017, a reply is shared on GOD supplying money to the church, instead of believers raising funds.  Born-again Christian believers are to practice offering and sacrifice as challenges within their new life that must be met for their accomplishment of permanent changes in their attitudes, focus, and power of self-will.  While the source of all flesh is Spirit, the process of flesh must be specific to the character and nature of flesh.  When flesh and form become vessels of divine substance, there must be multiple sacred operations to transform what is carnal, material and social to be in accord with immortal, incorruptible Spirit.  Finite, physical things produced and used by created beings and living creatures such as buildings, money, and property become representative devices to express exclusive devotion, love, and reverence toward GOD once they are anointed (i.e., made fragrant), set apart (we say, cleansed, sanctified), and consecrated to bind believers in lasting relationships with divinity.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Nobody Knows Anything” (Level 4 with 3,204 points, a member since December 29, 2012) posted the following:

Why doesnt God fund the churches he supports, instead of his followers raising the money?
It just seems like that would be a really good way to know which church has the right idea.
Why wouldn t God support the churches that preach his true message?
No Atheist/Agnostic answers, please.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.  And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul:  neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.  And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus:  and great grace was upon them all.  Neither was there any among them that lacked:  for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,  And laid them down at the apostles’ feet:  and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.  (Acts 4:  31-35, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  A New Year’s Message, 2015:  Great Expectations? (01/01/2015); To Him That Hath... (07/08/2016); A $1,000 Dollar Seed? (11/02/2015); More On Sacrificial Giving (11/03/2015); Money Is No Object? (10/14/2015); A Price for Religious Liberty? (06/30/2015); Sacrificial Relationships? (10/23/2013); Relationship by Unselfish Giving? (10/24/2013); Prosperity Destroys Fools (09/25/2012); Life and Death (09/26/2012)

“Nobody Knows Anything”,  the funding work is to benefit the Flesh, and therefore, must be carried out by the Flesh.  Mature Christian believers trust that sacred knowledge and practices are being shared among the living by the Creator through such devices as divine law, covenants, promises, prophecy, revelation, and the death of Jesus on the cross.  All the necessary operations to establish a sphere of life for human existence, material processes for their communication, exchange and interaction as well as natural law, regularity, and the frameworks of time and space have been provided by divinity.  Even so, the living must display accountability, balance, coherence, continuity, person, presence, stability and validity to participate in relationship with Deity.  Mankind’s integrity, value and worth must be expressed as his own unique nature and substance; however, the character and makeup of mankind also must always display inseparable aspects of the makeup of GOD.  The life essence (we say, breath, spirit, word) from GOD includes faith, forbearance, forgiveness, holiness, hope, longsuffering, lovingkindness, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  While it is our separation from GOD that makes it necessary there be communication such as confession, petition, praise, prayer and thanksgiving, it is also separation that endows the simple things among mankind with authority, beauty, power, and enduring purpose.  On the basis of counsel and instruction from GOD, men are to offer, return, and sacrifice to GOD what they most feel has value in their living.  This also may be done using substitutes, surrogates, and symbols.  Thus, most correctly understood, the divine process has never been one of simply supporting believers by providing goods, money, and services to men in the earth.  Rather, there is a stream of spirit content to equip men for ongoing challenges, growth, the work of judgment, and eternal life.  Life for the body of Christ is not about currency, economies, and exchange rates among men any more than it is about men showing off as “perfect” using mere human standards.
There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

(11/18/2015) Thoughts On The Kingdom?

Today, some thoughts are shared on the idea of divine rule over the church and earthly nations as well as over divine kingdoms.  In addition to speaking of GOD as a partner with mankind implementing multiple covenants, many Christian believers speak of both “the kingdom of God” and “the kingdom of heaven;” and the two expressions are used interchangeably.  Consider again the following from the Bible, and the discussion appearing below:  Matthew 4:  12-17, King James Version (KJV):  12 Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee;  13 And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim:  14 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,  15 The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles;  16 The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.  17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent:  for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.  Also, Matthew 4:  23, KJV:  23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.  Luke 19:  12-14, KJV:  12 He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.  13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.  14 But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.   John 18:  33-38, KJV:  33 Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews?  34 Jesus answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of me?  35 Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me:  what hast thou done?  36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world:  if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews:  but now is my kingdom not from hence.  37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.  38 Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.  One of the fighters at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

What is God's kingdom?

Is it the church?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;  That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:  Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;  Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see:  to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.  (1st Timothy 6:  13-16, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  The Sum of the Saved? (11/04/2015); A Kingdom Now and One To Come? (09/05/2014); Comfort? (09/06/2014); Inheriting the Kingdom? (06/27/2014); Points on Bible Study (06/28/2014); The Ruler Of the Earth? (05/01/2014); Parables About the Kingdom? (05/02/2014); Loving Someone Unseen? (05/03/2014)

“Anonymous”, for many Christian believers, the idea of a kingdom upon the earth where divinity has all sovereign authority has been very useful to focus their understanding of such features as allegiance, divine order, duty, and eternal purpose.  Also, given that GOD is a spirit, many are comfortable with language that speaks of a celestial kingdom that is a sphere of life separate from the earth.  The character and nature of Deity as creative, exalted, generative, holy, and preeminent requires language that continuously acknowledges and affirms divine merit and superiority as well as divine ownership.  When divinity is understood as capable of personal communication, self-expression, exchange, and interaction with created beings and living creatures, GOD is more than an intellectual abstraction.  So that he may be correctly known, GOD provides covenant relationships, revelation, and a living presence within the beings put forth by GOD.  Applying language to GOD that we ordinarily use to describe things that exist in human experience as carnal, material and social, we speak of divine operations through sacred law as accomplishing control, judgment, and rule administered by a single person (we say, caliphate, empire, monarchy).   Consider again the following from the Bible:

(1.)  1st Chronicles 29:  11-13, King James Version (KJV):  11 Thine, O LORD, is the greatness and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty:  for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.  12 Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.  13 Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.

(2.)  Psalms 24:  7-10, KJV:  7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.  8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.  9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.  10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory.  Selah.

(3.)  John 10:  14-16, KJV:  14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.  15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father:  and I lay down my life for the sheep.  16 And other sheep have I that are not of this fold:  them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  1st Timothy 1:  17, KJV:  17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever.  Amen.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

(08/25/2014) Sermons About Good Sex?

Today, points are shared on instruction by the church regarding how to achieve sexual satisfaction.  Also, there is more on whether the Scriptures teach that some people are “just bad.”  The “Yahoo! Answers” fighter using the ID “Connie” (Level 4 with 3,523 points, a member since September 30, 2013) posted the following:

Why do pastors never give a sermon about good sex?

THE BATTLE AXE:  Some People Are Just Bad? (08/24/2014)—(6.)  Given that all have sinned, from the divine point of view, there now are only two kinds of people in the world:  repentant sinners (those having godly sorrow for sin, who have claimed the revealed mercy of GOD) and impenitent sinners (those experiencing neither godly sorrow for their own sins nor divine wrath against sin as an obstacle to their own eternal life, and are determined to continue a life of offenses against GOD and mankind).  As with rebirth through baptism, acquiring forgiveness and salvation are instantaneous operations of GOD, that must be followed by continuing change and gradual growth for a believer to reach the status of spiritual maturity and divine perfection.

(7.)  The Scriptures teach that certain functions, life processes, operations, and roles were put into place in the beginnings of Creation along with admonitions, sacred laws, and sanctions to preserve and maintain divine order.  Thus, an unnamed blind man appears in Scripture who was sightless from birth in order that GOD’s glory and power would be demonstrated, and revealed through Jesus healing him in the Temple at Jerusalem.  While it was predetermined that someone would betray Jesus into the hands of the corrupt priests at the Temple, no specific person was named by GOD, or prophesied in the Scripture to carry out the task:  Judas Iscariot was self-appointed.  As with the judgment of Achan by Joshua, the penalty for ones crime or transgression may be announced long before any offense is committed; yet, does not cancel or deter its being carried out.  That a person performs works that carry out destructive or negative aspects within the divine plan (e.g., Korah, Dathan and Abiram; Caiaphas; Pontius Pilate) does not relieve the persons who commit those acts of their accountability before GOD.  With this in view, we understand that no infant is born automatically condemned to become a thief; it is through self-promotion and by self-selection that a child may end its life upon that path.  Similarly, no child is born predestined through the workings of GOD to some day marry in a same sex wedding ceremony.  Everyone who experiences being sexually attracted to a person(s) of the same gender, do not commit themselves to a gay or lesbian lifestyle.

(8.)  The Scriptures also teach there are classes of created beings and living creatures who are already sealed in judgment, and labeled as “an evil and adulterous generation,” apostates, children of disobedience, infidels, heretics, and “those who kept not their first estate.”  Such continue to operate within the spheres of life (earth and heaven), yet, there is no teaching that encourages belief that the things provided through Jesus Christ for mankind will also be applied to their condition.

(9.)  Knowing that GOD can open hearts and minds that are otherwise closed and shut to clergy, co-workers, family, and friends, believers are instructed to avoid “jumping to conclusions” (i.e., condemnation; final judgments) of others.  Believers may appear indifferent, and uncaring, yet, they are not to repeatedly challenge, confront, and harass others.  Those in Christ also must accept the divine limits upon their own ministry.  Believers are to “bide their time” submitting themselves in judgment to GOD without bias and prejudice against others.  Every offense believers are able to recognize in the attitudes and behavior of others exist within the full spectrum of their own inner life.  This includes desires, errors, fantasies, and lusts that may be disguised or maintained having an altered form.  Being truly released from all the operations of sin requires what only GOD may do, and proceeds through connections and interactions structured by divinity, rather than flesh.  Consider again Jude 1:  3-8, Psalms 53:  1-4, John 8:  23-45, 1st Corinthians 4:  5, 2nd Corinthians 6:  14-18, Colossians 3:  5-7, Titus 3:  1-11, 2nd Timothy 3:  1-9, Matthew 25:  41-46 and Revelation 21:  8, KJV.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.  For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh:  and these are contrary the one to the other:  so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.  But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,  Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,  Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like:  of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.  (Galatians 5:  16-21, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Condemned by the Church? (08/19/2014); Principles of Correct Belief? (08/20/2014); Pornography from the Bible? (11/26/2012); More Than Salvation (11/27/2012); Double Standard? (10/12/2012); Family and Romance (10/13/2012)

“Connie”, here are a few points that should advance the growth of your spirit in agreement with Christian belief:

(1.)  The most necessary and urgent work for the church is the establishment of an added, fresh endowment of divinity from the makeup of GOD within those who are carnal, yet are seeking new life through Jesus Christ.  Ones inborn spirit that focuses upon appetite (e.g., hunger, thirst, sexual cravings), sensation (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching) and emotion/mental functions (e.g., anger, fantasy, fear, imagination, recall) must be replaced by spirit matter that is constantly in harmony with divine person.  Believers must be prepared to receive inseparable aspects of divinity such as faith, forgiveness, holiness, humility, longsuffering, truthfulness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

(2.)  Where pastors speak about satisfaction through sexual intimacy their focus may be upon chastity, fornication or marriage, because all sexual behavior is more than a simple, physical act.  There are emotional, psychological, and spiritual dimensions as well.  All sexual behavior—even holding hands and a kiss on the cheek—may establish a joining of spirits.  Thus, for example, joining oneself to a sex worker introduces multiple spirits from unknown and unseen persons that may confuse, defile, dominate, and otherwise weaken ones inborn spirit.  Even within marriage, there must be a preparation for, and an acceptance of permanent changes within ones own person through their spouse.  Only by death, or the operations of the imparted, indwelling Spirit from GOD, can such joining be dissolved.

(3.)  There are many secular settings that provide counseling and instruction on the mechanics of sexual arousal and intercourse.  The duty of the church is not to compete against or replace the instruction by educated, skilled, and thoughtful caretakers, parents, medical professionals, and others.  However, many see the church as imposing discipline and law upon sexual matters because there also must be a focus upon the maintenance of sexual innocence, and purity.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  The church must be understood as a diverse body made up from persons who have achieved varying levels of emotional, intellectual and spiritual maturity.  Through the provision of GOD, a particular sermon will deliver to all who hear exactly what their spirit has confessed in prayer to be their most heartfelt offerings as well as their most pressing needs.  While only 30 seconds of a 20 minute presentation may seem relevant, because it is from GOD, it operates on multiple levels to cleanse, heal, and nourish.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
