(09/28/2018) Mysteries Of The Kingdom?

Today, reply is on how the ministry of Jesus Christ is a divine tool to continue the profound consciousness of GOD required for existence and life within created beings and living creatures on the earth. Jesus would provide prophetic demonstrations and instruction that would describe and clarify mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, and a body of sacred knowledge pertaining to godliness. The fighter in the Religion and Spirituality public forum at “Yahoo Answers” who uses the ID “GRANNY NORINE ” (Level 1 with 60 points, a member since May 16, 2014) posted the following:

What did Jesus mean "...It is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven.." (Matt 13:11)?

Update: How do we get to "know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven?"
Update 2: THE LOVE OF GOD: I love you all so much it breaks my heart to see how MANY have been taught the wrong doctrine. I CRY!

THE GOLDEN ARROW: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter; The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches. (Revelation 1: 18-20, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Did The Prophets Know? (05/23/2018); A Descendent of David? (03/18/2018); Proclaiming A New Kingdom? (04/13/2017); Benefits of His Kingdom? (04/11/2017); First Seeking the Kingdom (03/03/2017); The Lion of Judah (01/22/2017); Thoughts On The Kingdom? (11/18/2015)

GRANNY NORINE ” the seven parables of the kingdom are not so much a matter of dealing with unanswered questions as a matter of fitting together and understanding what we already have been privileged to see and hear from GOD. Having explanations, intellectual knowledge, and information are only one part of correctly apprehending divinity. The Incarnation of all divinity (i.e., the GODhead) as the person of Jesus Christ has been used as a divine tool to further make known and approachable the sacred character, makeup, and substance of Deity. The first pair (Adam) dismissed and transgressed sacred law that made known the dominion, personhood, divine prerogative, and sovereign will of GOD. While GOD would continue with eternal purposes unchanged, mankind became subject to the consequences of their disobedience that included loss of spirit content required to have uninterrupted consciousness of GOD; mortality (death); and the experiences of time and space made vulnerable through further operations of sin.

GOD continued to communicate with humanity, however, mankind became increasingly contrary. The things from GOD to ensure the duration and survival of the earth were treated as abstract, diffuse, and disconnected. Included were commandments, covenants, proclamations, promises, and prophecy that shared a range of divine meanings, principles, standards, and values to prepare the living to exist as immortal, incorruptible companions to GOD. The full plan of GOD remained hidden and unseen because the finite and temporal process of man heavily focuses on appetite, emotion/mind, sensation, and self-will. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.) Deuteronomy 29: 29, King James Version (KJV): 29 The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

(2.) Revelation 10: 5-7, KJV: 5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, 6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: 7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

(3.) Luke 17: 20-21, KJV: 20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

(4.) Ephesians 3: 8-12, KJV: 8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; 9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: 10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, 11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: 12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

(5.) 1st John 5: 9-13, KJV: 9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. 10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (6.) Romans 8: 20-23, KJV:  20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, 21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(01/31/2018) Divine Priesthood on Earth

A depiction of Adam as High Priest making sacrifice for atonement that must be received by GOD through fire from heaven.

Today, the Bible is discussed as a record of the divine priesthood in heaven appearing on the earth through mankind.  Those in the office of prophet are to serve as spokespersons in the relationship between GOD and mankind while only those consecrated to serve in the office of priest are to offer blood for the remission of sin.  From skins to holy garments, from the blood of circumcision to the blood of the cross, the priesthood has performed the works of atonement, manifesting the active presence who is GOD, and countering the operations of sin through divine provisions.  A writer in the “Yahoo! Answers” forum using the ID “Jim” (Level 1 with 90 points, a member since December 21, 2015) posted the following:

Whose idea was it to create the Bible?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,  As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:  If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.  To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,  Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.  Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious:  and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.  Unto you therefore which believe he is precious:  but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,  And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient:  whereunto also they were appointed.  But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;  Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God:  which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.  (1st Peter 2:  1-10, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  The Divinity of “Word” (01/26/2018); What Would Moses Say? (10/27/2017); Christ Our High Priest (10/25/2017); The First Book of the Bible? (11/20/2014); The Beginning of Wisdom? (11/21/2014); Recognizing True Prophets (05/02/2013); Jesus, A Party Animal? (05/03/2013)

“Jim”, the Bible began through what we call “oral tradition” before the development of reading and writing.  Adam and others of the Patriarchs lived for nearly a millennium (1,000 years); and it is thought that worship was held “in the gate” (i.e., at the entrance) to the Garden of Eden, and in the witness of the angel posted there.  In addition to understanding the Bible to be a written record of GOD revealing divinity to created beings and living creatures by using thousands of events within thousands of lives over the course of thousands of years, another important way for Christian believers to apprehend the many streams of truth from the Bible is to acknowledge that the holy writings document the development on earth of the sacred priesthood from heaven that is carried out and performed by Jesus Christ as High Priest within the Temple of Heaven.

The priesthood of Jesus as Son of the Highest was demonstrated to Adam, and shared with mankind replacing their lost inheritance.  Through the mechanism of the priesthood the offspring of Adam would become the new creation; would continue as “joint-heirs” with Christ; would receive words of comfort, promise, and prophecy to be proclaimed and repeated to future generations; would be granted sacred knowledge to practice the mysteries of atonement and propitiation for sin; and would continue the sacred work of reconciliation.

Many Christians believe that, under the guidance through Moses, the many oral traditions held among the Hebrews who formed the tribes of Jacob were blended with those from the mixed multitude that left Egypt.  In order to survive the years of famine, the Egyptian people and many others literally sold their land, their livestock, and themselves as slaves to Pharaoh.  As absolute ruler over a one-world empire, Pharaoh presented himself as a false god.  Details of the idolatry, occult practices, and impure worship that existed among the Egyptians were carefully separated from the doctrines and teachings that were to be a platform for a new nation and covenant people of GOD.  The Pentateuch that serve as the first five books of the Bible establish the pattern for all authentic holy writing.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Genesis 3:  21, King James Version (KJV):  21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

(2.)  Exodus 28:  1-3, KJV:  1 And take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office, even Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons.  2 And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty.  3 And thou shalt speak unto all that are wise hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron’s garments to consecrate him, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office.

(3.)  Hebrews 7:  11-17, KJV:  11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?  12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.  13 For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.  14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.  15 And it is yet far more evident:  for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,  16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.  17 For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

(4.)  Hebrews 7:  21-28, KJV:  21 (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)  22 By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.  23 And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death:  24 But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.  25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.  26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;  27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s:  for this he did once, when he offered up himself.  28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  [For example, (5.)  Hebrews 9:  19-24, KJV:  19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,  20 Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.  21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.  22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.  23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.  24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:]  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

(04/14/2017) The Holy Week Continues

Today, commitment, expressions of Spirit, and the celebration of Easter are in view.  Many will acknowledge Jesus Christ this “Good Friday” as a day of both joyful celebration and somber observances that include foot-washing (called the “Ordinance of Humility”).  The Holy Week begun on what we call “Palm Sunday” did not end or finish with the crucifixion of Jesus.  Correctly understood, the conclusion of Holy Week is “Resurrection Sunday.”  Men are to apprehend that GOD is a spirit who is to be worshiped “in spirit and in truth.”  Jesus would die on the cross as a passover lamb and the “ram caught in the thicket” who is the heir to Abraham.  He would be raised from the grave as the High Priest of the Temple in heaven to complete atonement, and as the One to oversee and conclude the tribunals of final judgment.  The work of his appearance in flesh (we say, the Incarnation) and his divine visitation to the earth was not so much to establish Israel, any other nation, or a new geopolitical state as to demonstrate the kingdom of GOD is a specific lifestyle, and a spiritual condition wherein all created beings and living creatures might have access to a personal relationship with divinity characterized by forgiveness, mercy and divine grace that now are to ever be an ongoing and permanent aspect of duration.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

Is it a obligation for a Christian to celebrate Easter?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;  Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord:  peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.  And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.  And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.  (Luke 19:  37-40, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Benefits of His Kingdom? (04/11/2017); Differences Among Sacred Events (04/10/2017); Hosanna In The Highest (04/09/2017); The Extravagance of Love? (04/02/2017); Frequency of The Lord’s Supper? (10/30/2016); The Purpose of Resurrection (07/05/2016); The Cross and Resurrection Sunday? (03/16/2016)

“Anonymous”, the Holy Week associated with salvation is like that for the Creation.  Thus, for many Christians Easter is no longer marked by carnal, material, or social features; and is respected as a season set apart by the active presence and operations of GOD.  Just as in their daily routines, believers are to discern and display the Holy Spirit (we also say, the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Prophecy, the Spirit of Truth), inseparable aspects from the makeup of GOD now should be visible including faith, holiness, hope, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, meekness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Mature Christian believers will continue observances that acknowledge sacred events (some say, mysteries) from the life and ministry of Jesus Christ.  Included are his birth, baptism, sanctification and temptation in the wilderness, his consecration and transfiguration, his death on the cross, his resurrection, and his return to heaven by ascension.  While Jesus appeared primarily to reveal the image of GOD the Father, the Savior also was to depict mankind as the sons of Adam, and Israel as a covenant partner of divinity.  Christ would transform the old feasts and remembrances that over millennia sometimes had been replaced by the golden calf and idol worship, forgotten, and corrupted through exaggerated pride and worldliness.  The Son of the Most High would provide a new testament in his blood.  Because these sacred events demonstrate and further encourage trust that the promises from GOD are truly being fulfilled, believers embrace their memorial as opportunities to express toward divinity increasing gratitude, great joy, and heartfelt love.  Even so, acknowledgment and response are made more on the basis of commitment, divine process to establish eternal life, and intimate relationship than the basis of commandment, discipline, obedience to sacred law, or tradition requiring annual feasts and festivals.  Consider the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  1st Corinthians 15:  21-24, King James Version (KJV):  21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.  22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.  23 But every man in his own order:  Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.  24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

(2.)  1st Corinthians 5:  6-8, KJV:  6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?  7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:  8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

(3.)  Romans 8:  5-9, KJV:  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Luke 22:  15-20, KJV:  15 And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:  16 For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.  17 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:  18 For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.  19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you:  this do in remembrance of me.  20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

(02/14/2017) Benefits of the Rosary

Prayer-Mysteries.jpg

Today, the full benefit and use of the Rosary is considered.  It continues to be very challenging for those on the earth to accept that our own words and deeds are “weak and beggarly elements” that reek and make us appear as adorned wearing “filthy rags.”  Intercession, the prayers of the church, and offerings from saints (who include the mother of Jesus) become fragrant before the Father only as expressions by and with the Son or Holy Spirit.  Thus, believers may also say, “if God be for Mary, who can be against Mary?”  A writer at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “David” (Level 1 with 95 points, a member since February 14, 2017) posted the following:

Do you have to use the rosary as a meditation tool? Can I just use it for prayer?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities:  for we know not what we should pray for as we ought:  but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.  And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.  For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.  Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called:  and whom he called, them he also justified:  and whom he justified, them he also glorified.  What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?  (Romans 8:  26-31, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Salvation By Faith Alone? (01/19/2017); The Power in Prayer? (08/22/2014); The Rosary and Other Prayers? (08/23/2014); Faith, Language, and “Mystery”? (04/11/2013); GOD Knows Tomorrow? (04/12/2013); Outgrowing Childhood Prayers? (04/07/2013); Confessing Only to GOD? (04/08/2013)

“David”, we may not separate the wet from the water.  It is correct for the followers of Jesus Christ to seek every available benefit and blessing shared through the discipline of Rosary prayer.  As we start, answering the Rosary may seem to be merely a matter of memorization and recitation.  However, the believer truly is submitting to operations by the Holy Spirit that are to produce permanent changes in their consciousness and self-will.  We are to keep in mind, the sacred things we are receiving are to fit us as servants who will minister to others.  Our gaze must fix upon the image of GOD in Christ.  All the revelation from GOD is to make divinity clearly active and present within the life of believers.  Through the Savior, we enter into the divine process of change and transformation that provides atonement, new creation, and the beginnings of eternal life, now.  While the utterance of the Rosary prayers can be simply understood as saying “I love you,” the commitment, conviction, and separation of the Rosary proclaim the believer’s participation in multiple aspects of profound sacred practice.  Included are anointing, baptism, circumcision, forgiveness, Incarnation, oneness without sameness within the GODhead, rebirth, and resurrection.  The things of our salvation are provided as gifts on the basis of faith, grace, divine prerogative, and eternal purpose, rather than the extent of our intellect, knowledge (both sacred and secular), carnal reason, and finite wisdom.  We are correct to repeatedly examine the holy mysteries (events) from the lives of Christ and his mother, for they impart to us an abundance of spirit from the makeup of GOD.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:
(1.)  1st Timothy 3:  16, King James Version (KJV):  16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:  God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
(2.)  Colossians 1:  26-28, KJV:  26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:  27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:  28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
(3.)  Numbers 21:  8-9, KJV:  8 And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole:  and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.  9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.
(4.)  Isaiah 42:  1-3, KJV:  1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him:  he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.  2 He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.  3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench:  he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.
There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  2nd Corinthians 3:  17-18, KJV:  17 Now the Lord is that Spirit:  and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.  18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

(05/10/2016) A Learned Council of Elders?

Councils as a device for decision-making, incarnation of divinity, managing human resources, and sharing revelation from GOD are topics, today.  A fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Dajjal” (Level 4 with 3,545 points, a member since May 16, 2013) posted the following:

Should God be replaced with a learned council of elders from Harvard?
It'll be better

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And Moses said, The people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand footmen; and thou hast said, I will give them flesh, that they may eat a whole month.  Shall the flocks and the herds be slain for them, to suffice them? or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, to suffice them?  And the LORD said unto Moses, Is the LORD’s hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not.  And Moses went out, and told the people the words of the LORD, and gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people, and set them round about the tabernacle.  And the LORD came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders:  and it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease.  But there remained two of the men in the camp, the name of the one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad:  and the spirit rested upon them; and they were of them that were written, but went not out unto the tabernacle:  and they prophesied in the camp.  And there ran a young man, and told Moses, and said, Eldad and Medad do prophesy in the camp.  And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Moses, one of his young men, answered and said, My lord Moses, forbid them.  And Moses said unto him, Enviest thou for my sake? would God that all the LORD’s people were prophets, and that the LORD would put his spirit upon them!  And Moses gat him into the camp, he and the elders of Israel.  (Numbers 11:  21-30, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  On Transmitting Sacred Truth (05/06/2016); The Cross and Critical Thinking? (04/13/2016); The Only One Sent? (02/19/2016); Academic Language? (12/10/2015); To Study the Book of Judges (09/09/2015); American Culture and Law? (07/13/2015); GOD Rules (07/07/2015)

“Dajjal”, guidance by “learned elders” as a tool for government, prosperity, and security can be easily corrupted, misdirected, politicized, and made the tool of tyrants.  This is also true regarding those entrusted with divine mysteries and the sharing of sacred revelation to identify the character, nature, and substance of divinity.  We see a “failure of the council” appearing as sin that brings about the crucifixion of Jesus Christ as well as in the inability of the present United States Supreme Court to maintain its status, and resolve pressing issues within a democratic government having three branches.  In addition to accounts of covenants, divine law, patriarchs, priests, prophets, and angelic visitations to provide guidance and instruction upon the earth, the Bible also reports the formation of councils to embody divine “life essence” (we say, breath, spirit, word) from GOD, and continually make present inseparable aspects of the divine makeup.  Included are faith, forgiveness, holiness, joy, longsuffering, love, mercy, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Sin is a non-material, non-spirit influence that opposes the continued existence of divine law, the breath of life, and the entire universe.  Sin may dominate awareness and self-will in created beings and living creatures.  Finite human tools such as debate, discourse, intellect, logic, philosophy, science and technology can not correctly and consistently detect, eliminate, and perfectly resist sin.  There must be sacred knowledge, godly practice, and consecrated oneness (we say, unity).  Even with a council, there must be a single figure (high priest, monarch, prophet?) having authority to manage development of consensus and unanimous decision.  Consider again the following from Scripture:
(1.)  Proverbs 11:  14, King James Version (KJV):  14 Where no counsel is, the people fall:  but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.
(2.)  Daniel 6:  4-9, KJV:  4 Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.  5 Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.  6 Then these presidents and princes assembled together to the king, and said thus unto him, King Darius, live for ever.  7 All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions.  8 Now, O king, establish the decree, and sign the writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.  9 Wherefore king Darius signed the writing and the decree.
(3.)  Matthew 26:  59-63, KJV:  59 Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death;  60 But found none:  yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses,  61 And said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days.  62 And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?  63 But Jesus held his peace, And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.
There is far more to be said, understood, and spiritually taken in.  (For example, (4.)  Acts 23:  6-9, KJV:  6 But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee:  of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question.  7 And when he had so said, there arose a dissension between the Pharisees and the Sadducees:  and the multitude was divided.  8 For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit:  but the Pharisees confess both.  9 And there arose a great cry:  and the scribes that were of the Pharisees’ part arose, and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man:  but if a spirit or an angel hath spoken to him, let us not fight against God.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

(05/06/2016) On Transmitting Sacred Truth

Today, points are shared to show that the processes to proclaim and preserve truth regarding Jesus Christ must be carried out by divinity.  Correctly understood, Christ is experienced and known only as the Lord continuously abides within his living believers and followers in the form of spirit content from the makeup of GOD.  Multiple sacred operations that are carried out by Deity must come into awareness such as atonement, forbearance, forgiveness, Incarnation, priesthood, sacrifice, resurrection, Transfiguration, and ascension.  Because they typically focus on things that are carnal, material and social, even a detailed biography and other forms of documentation and formal writing from ancient times would not convey prophecy and spirit content as do the holy writings.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “fumblesmcst00l” (Level 2 with 453 points, a member since January 05, 2011) posted the following:

Why didn't anyone bother recording the life of Jesus while he was actually alive? Why did it take some 80 years to write about 'god's son'?

Update:  Point being, a super-human god walking around performing magic and a whole fan-club in tow seems like something to scribble into the diary. I'd expect thousands of different perspectives to turn up from all over the world. There just isn't.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:  Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.  For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man:  but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.  (2nd Peter 1:  19-21, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  The Words Are Spirit? (06/03/2015); The GOD Part of Jesus? (05/06/2015); Why Jesus Authored No Books (05/01/2013); Recognizing True Prophets (05/02/2013); A Guide to Salvation? (04/10/2013); Faith, Language and “Mystery” (04/11/2013); The Childhood of Jesus? (03/06/2013); Non-existent Debt? (03/07/2013)

fumblesmcst00l”, most correctly understood, the communication of divine truth and sacred knowledge is not accomplished using finite human tools such as intellect, logic, philosophy, science, and technology.  Revelation (i.e., divinity being made knowable and known to created beings and living creatures) must be accomplished through the “active presence” of Deity.  Thus, the visceral event of Jesus dying upon the cross is required along with exchanges and interactions among imparted spirit matter (we also say, breath, life essence, word) from the makeup of GOD.  Included must be inseparable aspects of divinity such as faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, law (the expressed will of GOD), wisdom, and wrath against sin.

Sacred truth is preserved as living routines and sacraments maintained by communities chosen to serve in witness (we say, congregations of the anointed, the elect).  This agrees with evidences derived from academic and secular studies showing only devotees within an exclusive priestly class are initiated into the “mysteries” or seen endowed with “holy writings” in cultures relying upon oral history, and where literacy was not widespread.  The publishing of public information regarding Jesus as Son of GOD was strictly controlled by the Romans and Jews through oppression and persecution that included excommunication from the synagogues and the Temple, imprisonment, torture, and death.  With this in view, even private communications such as epistles and letters, had to be encoded, guarded, and made so personal they would be useless to disbelievers.

There is far more that should be said, understood, and spiritually taken in.  (For example, mature Christian believers trust that, through operations of the Holy Spirit, blood, correction, and truth from the cross are flowing to here and now.  Even so, preaching the cross is not clearly heard in cultures that breed consumerism, deceit, fantasy, idolatry, ignorance, materialism, politics, pride, pseudo-intellectualism, and skepticism.  Many who will hear and read this statement will dismiss it because they lack discernment that comes only by spiritual practice and application.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

(05/05/2016) In The Divine Household?

Today, points are shared on adoption by, and of Mary the Mother of Jesus for Christian believers, and the full pattern of divine relationships.  Completing rebirth through baptism, sinners become members of the household of faith.  The lives of Christian believers become interlaced with that of Jesus Christ through deposits of spirit substance from the makeup of Deity.  Sharing mind, heart and spirit content from the person of Jesus, we have oneness with the Son of GOD.  To fully acknowledge Mary, there must be the same operations of the Holy Spirit within a believer that established in the Son both consciousness of communion with Mary as well as the everlasting bond with GOD the Father.  Only the Spirit (we also say, Comforter, Spirit of Prophecy, Spirit of Truth) may initiate and nourish the genuine sense of relatedness to Mary as her protectors, her siblings, and her children.  Mary and John were eyewitnesses to the death of Jesus upon the cross while most of his apostles and disciples were in hiding to avoid arrest.  Eventually, they came together in an upper room as a household that numbered some 120 members, and would tarry together fasting and praying until the falling of the Holy Ghost on the day of Pentecost.  A household in Bible times included family members, trusted servants, workers and their families.  Thus, though Abram (later Abraham) was a nomad dwelling in tents, the Patriarch’s household was like a small town or city.  Its men, women and children may have numbered in the thousands, and included more than 300 men of an age who would serve as an army to recover Lot, his sizeable household, and their possessions.  Every male in the household of Abraham also voluntarily entered themselves and the families under their authority into covenant with GOD through circumcision.  A fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “SUPERSTAR” (Level 6 with 12,842 points, a member since November 28, 2009) posted the following:

Do Christians believe that Jesus is our brother and his Father is our Father and Mary is our mother?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;  That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:  But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.  For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;  Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;  And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:  And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.  For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.  Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;  And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;  In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:  In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.  (Ephesians 2:  11-22, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Family at The Cross? (04/11/2016); Heirs of The Cross? (04/01/2016); Offspring of GOD? (12/23/2015); Why Was Lot Spared? (12/20/2015); Is Mary A Goddess? (08/25/2015); Judgment Begins at Believers? (08/16/2015); Mary (06/13/2014); The Estate of His Handmaiden (06/14/2014); A Kindness to Mary? (04/21/2013); When GOD Controls? (04/22/2013)

“SUPERSTAR”, mature Christian believers trust that, through operations of the Holy Spirit, blood, correction, and truth from the cross are flowing to here and now.  Through Jesus Christ dying upon the cross, the relationship of created beings and living creatures with their Creator has been revealed to be more than one of authority, hierarchy, and finite participation within a formal structure describing ceremonial interactions among the living.  The GODhead as the source for existence and life is being made knowable and known through continuous exchange and ongoing operations that are intimate, organic and personal.
Within every congregation of believers, the mysteries, sacred knowledge, and sacraments regularly practiced are spoken of using language and terms we associate with families and kinship.  Included are adoption, brotherhood, care, duty, holy matrimony, household, inheritance, love, obedience, respect, separation, trust, and truth.  The term “household” may include devoted servants (once called, living sacrifices and slaves) as well as those who depend upon and support the family by sharing and willing participation.
Jesus is the Son of Adam (we say, Son of Man), thus, all acknowledging Adam as father also embrace Jesus as brother.  Jesus is the Son of GOD, and those acknowledging rebirth through the Holy Spirit, answer an anointing and endowment of spirit substance from the makeup of divinity that installs believers as offspring (sons and daughters) of GOD, and  joint-heirs with Christ.  Inseparable aspects of Deity are imparted to those who are born again such as faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, love, meekness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.
There is far more that should be said, understood, and spiritually taken in.  (For example, as an offspring of Adam, Mary, the mother of Jesus is a sister to all the other children of Man.  More than this, among those answering in faith, many accept the charge given to John from the cross as also commanded of themselves.  Thus, Mary is to be cared for and embraced as our mother, also; and we are to acknowledge that, by operations of divinity, her present exalted place before the GODhead within heaven is as one resurrected, Incarnate, favored, immortal, incorruptible, and a perpetual virgin.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

(09/16/2015) The Creation Of Mankind?

I share some ideas, today, on the various creation stories that feature Adam and Eve, on divine revelation through utterance (the Word), and on the accuracy of a believer’s sacred knowledge.  A reader at thoughts.com requested I share my understanding of what are found by many to be conflicting and confusing accounts of Creation from the holy writings.  In accordance with the faith from GOD deposited within me, there are no contradictions or errors within the Scriptures.  GOD is a spirit, and we must worship him in spirit and in truth.  Saying the Scriptures are “the word of GOD,” we say, the Scriptures are put forth by a spirit.  The Scriptures, therefore, must be understood through spirit content, spirit process, and spirit substance.  When taken as a product of flesh (carnal, material, social beings), the Scriptures display multiple patterns and similarities among the accounts found there that some will attribute to human characteristics, human error, and human nature.  While there are multiple ways to apply, explain and relate the information shared through sacred documents only a narrow band of these acknowledge, describe and demonstrate divine consciousness, holiness, and eternal purpose.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.  Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.  And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.  Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.  And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.  (1st John 4:  12-16, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  To Express the Fullness of GOD? (07/09/2015); The Words Are Spirit? (06/03/2015); Getting It Right About Angels (05/10/2015); Those Who Read? (02/17/2015); The First Book of the Bible? (11/20/2014); The Beginning of Wisdom? (11/21/2014); The Male, the Female, and GOD (02/09/2014); Destroying the Resurrected Body? (02/10/2014); Before Abraham Was… (03/14/2013); A Golden Ticket? (11/30/2012); And This Was Good News (12/01/2012); Before the Fruit? (11/10/2012); Why "Mysterious" (11/11/2012)

Many seek to read and study the holy writings as a narrative using chronological order, and having a beginning, a middle, and an end.  However, the intent and process of divinity is one of introducing permanent change and transformation of ones spirit content.  While the narrative can be absorbing, rich, and riveting, it is incidental and minor.  The narrative is only a device to foster spiritual focus (we say, attention), and generate an appetite for genuine sacred power.  Those who hear, who understand, and who submit to Christ are to be used as living stones for a spiritual house of GOD upon the earth.  Those in error, who want to introduce other architectural plans and blueprints, fantasies, and vulgar notions of beauty and symmetry also are willing to use foreign materials and non-biblical resources they have seen others display in houses and structures to promote philosophy, science, technology and the world.  Christian believers are challenged to operate having a new consciousness of GOD that is to gradually overcome their inner process that now upholds continuing arbitrary differences, complacency, denial, digression, inconsistency, irregularity, and straying from the path of righteousness.

The Holy Spirit has encouraged me to understand that the books of Moses and other scriptures (e.g., Proverbs) have been developed from collections of oral histories and tribal legacies along with ancient ceremonies, mysteries (i.e., special knowledge shared only with those initiated), practices, rites, and rituals provided by divinity for a priesthood upon the earth.  Such facts as dates or names of persons, places, and bodies of water may have had more than one spelling, may have been lost, and may have become different from local group to local group among the tribes of Jacob that were challenged to escape assimilation and genocide within Egypt as a cosmopolitan empire.  In addition to introducing civil code (we say, a formal system for recording and publishing legal statutes) with a written covenant and ceremonial law, Moses began the work to transform the diverse tribesmen and a raw multitude into a polished nation before GOD.

Because our study is to gain knowledge about the attributes, character, nature, and power of the Creator and Savior who is divine, the Bible allows believers to discover and realize the existence of GOD as divinity appearing through thousands of events, occurring within thousands of lives, over the course of thousands of years.  So to speak, readers are provided a divine listening post and point of view where even the feelings and private thoughts of others are audible and visible.  Quotations and references to things spoken by others do not have to be by-the-letter, exact, and word-for-word.  It is the gist, and intent that must be conveyed.  Where multiple accounts appear, their effect is to be additive (edification; more information is being supplied through distinctive details).  The goal is not to have the peace that comes by arrogance, ignorance, neglect, presumption, or self-importance.  Rather, it is to acquire balance, certainty, fullness, maturity, peace of mind, and stability.

Information that seems absent or missing from Scripture accounts, in fact, are supplied through operations of the Holy Spirit.  Many of the facts that appear within the Bible are in the nature of abbreviations, suggestions, and a vocabulary intended to provide possible approaches, examples, guidelines, outlines for understanding, general principles, and useful terms; and are not to serve as an accurate and exact compendium of all sacred knowledge that a believer must rely upon for all truth.  Thus, there is no list naming all the children born to Adam and Eve; and, while the Egyptian name given to Joseph appears, such names do not appear for his two sons Ephraim and Manasseh.  There is much that can be dealt with as secular knowledge irrelevant to ones continuing in faith.  For this reason, readers should receive peculiar translations and versions of the Bible as aides and tools, never as idols and mandates. The reader’s need is less for accurate and exhaustive data, an ability to recall and recite obscure details of esoteric information, or the skill to amuse and entertain as would a court storyteller.  The divine intent is to provide information that lifts and maintains awareness on a cosmic scale for comprehension, discernment, exchange and revelation.

Revelation is accomplished by divinity acting to show or speaking to provide new and otherwise hidden perception as well as by reconfiguring consciousness to establish fresh comprehension or insight.  The process of divinity for salvation even includes groanings which cannot be uttered (Romans 8:26, KJV).  Sacred knowledge is not solely by the finite and mechanical operations of intellect (we say, logic, reason) or sense (e.g., seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting) within created beings and living creatures.  Flesh must be overshadowed by living Spirit.

There is much more I could say that readers should carefully consider and spiritually internalize.  (For example, for the sake of completeness, the things revealed through the Scriptures also must address preexistence, the conditions and events before the creation of heaven and earth.  Yet, how much must believers know for their salvation and eternal life established through grace, by faith?  It is consistent with conceptions of divinity as having all authority, knowledge, and power that Deity should exist being immortal and sovereign as well.  Additionally, that GOD would breathe and impart substance permanently existing within divine person into figures and forms set apart to become living souls is no less appropriate as a clear and legitimate explanation for the origins of human life than the acknowledgment that mankind is an outcome of operations by an exalted will to complete deliberate, directed action upon an object composed and constructed within the divine mind.  Where we trust GOD to have given us the answers we need through the Bible, we stop asking questions to get the answers we don’t need.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
