(08/22/2014) The Power in Prayer?

Today, points are shared on the benefit in prayer when using the Rosary.   A “Yahoo! Answers” writer using the ID “Suzy” (Level 7 wit 32,721 points, a member since June 09, 2007) posted the following:

So, why would people keep saying the rosary?

Update : (Matthew 6:7) But when praying, do not say the same things over and over again, just as the people of the nations do, for they imagine they will get a hearing for their use of many words.

Update 2: FIREBALL, all I did was ask a question to try to understand why they would do this when Jesus said not to. Why did you put "NOT OUR BUSINESS...WE ARE NOT THE RELIG COPS"?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene.  When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!  Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.  (John 19:  25-27, KJV)

“Suzy”, here are some points to consider that may further improve and perfect your prayer life:

(1.)  The process of prayer using the Rosary is one of turning away from the harshness, treachery, and violence of the World to focus upon the beauty, and glory of Mary and her Son, our Savior.  Believers willingly direct their emotions and thoughts to events (some say, mysteries) in the lives of the holy mother and son.  For Christians, continuous and uninterrupted meditation upon the things given from GOD for eternal life and salvation establish spiritual discernment (the ability to recognize and respond to sacred content within life experiences such as events, motives, objects, other persons, purposes, sacred practices (we say, sacraments), and the holy writings.

(2.)  The challenge against the Rosary because of repetition is a trick from the Adversary to distract ones attention away from divinity.  Common sense dictates that all divine standards and tools provided as gifts to created beings and living creatures must be employed and put to work on the basis of conditions and needs that may vary over time, yet, are themselves immutable and unchanging.  The recognition of Christ (and of his mother) is only by operations of the Holy Spirit.

(3.)  Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the lawgiver, and the Creation that relies upon sacred law for divine order.  The attack by sin is always through awareness and self-will.  The prayers of the Rosary are still a shield and weapon against sin.  The power in offering Rosary and other scriptural prayers include alertness, clarity, peace of mind, and a heightened consciousness of divine presence.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  For those in an intimate relationship, to repeatedly say “I love you,” is not regarded as boring, insulting, or offensive. Those who pray the Rosary confess their continuing joy, their need, and their respect.  Also, the Savior has taught that believers should importune (persist, repeat) in their prayers that make petitions and requests of GOD until they are answered (and, even, after they are answered) as acknowledgement of divine authority and sovereignty.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
