(12/28/2017) The Most Important Thing

Today, reply focuses on the fact that Jesus is alive right now, and will be seen soon by all upon the earth.  Because Jesus is alive, divine spirit substance is going forth from divinity that allows men, women and children on the earth to exist having a different sense of direction, purpose, and value.  One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” forum using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

What is the most important thing to know about Jesus?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.  And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.  Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you:  as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.  And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:  Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.  But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.  The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.  And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them:  then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.  Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side:  and be not faithless, but believing.  And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.  Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed:  blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.  (John 20:  19-29,King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Christ Is The Firstborn (12/26/2017); Heaven Temporal, GOD Eternal (12/12/2017); “Occupy Till I Come” (08/30/2017); Divinity Appears Using Form (07/26/2017); Waiting On The Lord? (06/16/2017); Become Like Jesus Christ? (10/27/2016); Word, Son, and Christ? (08/24/2016); The Imminent Return of Christ? (07/19/2015)

“Anonymous”, one of the simplest points of truth regarding Jesus—that also seems to be the most challenged, the most denied, and the most overlooked—is that he lives!  Like the tribes of Jacob and the mixed multitude (Gentiles) who left with Moses, who survived the slaying of the first born, who walked through the walls of water at the Red Sea, and who later behaved as disbelieving, faithless and skeptical, many today, who are not continuous in the fellowship, work and worship within the church community are quick to forget the accounts of Christ’s resurrection and return to heaven.  More than this, they usually are unaware of the rich promises and prophecies shared to prepare mankind for the Savior coming to harvest the earth.

Those who are “born again” also must “grow up again,” and as developing believers they are to display spirit content from the makeup of GOD (e.g., faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, wrath against sin) and maintain vigilance.  Because many respond to the true teachings shared by the church with fear, resentment, and spiritual confusion, the eternal life of Jesus is often dismissed along with his participation in the fullness of divinity (we say, the GODhead; the Father, the Son, and The Holy Spirit).

Where Jesus Christ appeared earlier as prophet, servant, healer, and teacher, he is next to appear as Judge, High Priest, Savior, and King.  The Advent of Jesus (also called, his appearing, “the Day of the Lord,” the Rapture, and the Second Coming) is a sacred event that must occur for the completion of ongoing divine judgment, revelation, and new creation.   Those who are ripe (i.e., spiritually mature) and belong to Christ will be taken from the earth.  Those who have died will be restored to life in what is called the first resurrection, and will “meet him in the air” with the living who are his followers.  Those who are left behind must be taken up in a second resurrection that focuses on judgment of the wicked and the final elimination of sin.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, 1st Thessalonians 5:  1-6, King James Version (KJV):  1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.  2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.  3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.  4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.  5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day:  we are not of the night, nor of darkness.  6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
