(12/08/2017) Heaven Denied to Mankind?

Today, reply is on the operations of sin, mankind populating the whole earth, and Christ as High Priest in heaven.  Noah and his family were blessed and supplied to cleanse the “sanctuary” of the earth that had been ravaged by the waters of the flood, and covered with debris from the judgment event that included cadavers, mud, slime, and uprooted trees.  Even so, they were commanded to replenish the earth not to construct a pathway to heaven.  Access to heaven and eternal life would become possible later through Jesus Christ as “the way, the truth, and the life.”  A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” forum who uses the ID “NONAME” (Level 3 with 1,718 points, a member since July 07, 2017) posted the following:

Why did God punish Man for building a Stairway to Heaven...people just wanted to go to Heaven?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.  (Genesis 9:  1, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  A Lawless, Violent GOD? (11/16/2017); Adam, Family and Law (07/05/2017); Kingdom and One-world Empire (09/08/2016); Diversity and Divine Purpose (08/28/2016); Lessons From The Flood (01/21/2016); Finite Will, Self-will and Sin? (06/01/2015); Sin and the Great Flood (11/03/2014); Remembering Lot’s Wife? (11/04/2014); Destroyed in Noah’s Flood? (04/28/2013); Both Born Holy? (04/29/2013)

“NONAME”, because we speak and think using the frameworks of time and space, heaven has been promoted as a place physically located above the earth.  It is more correct, however, for our focus to be on the inseparable aspects of spirit content from the makeup of GOD that now may exist within mankind through the ministry of Jesus Christ.  Included are faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, meekness, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Christian believers are required to understand that the issues and problems of sin are profound, for the operations of sin go far beyond the bad attitudes and behaviors forbidden in the Ten Commandments.  Much of the wickedness we see on the earth results from operations of the flesh such as appetite (e.g., hunger, thirst, craving sex), sensation (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching), and emotion/mind (e.g., anger, imagination, recall, sorrow), rather than operations from mankind’s divine aspect imparted from GOD (we also say, breath, life essence, spirit, Word).
All appearances and forms of sin oppose the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and the full Creation.  Sin promotes non-existence; the elimination of authority, meaning, quality and value from GOD; and the return to conditions of chaos and flux that existed before the founding of heaven and earth.  While sin is no material object one may see with their eyes, hold in their hand, or put in their pocket, sin has direction, effect, and presence; and sin may dominate awareness and self-will within created beings and living creatures.  Consciousness and knowledge of sin have been  established through divine law, because to the living, sin does not appear as contrary to ones own character and makeup.  Sin seems natural, normal, and even, part of oneself that should be acknowledged, accepted and approved.  Cherished and hidden sin must be exposed by sacred law, yet, the results from sin plainly can be seen in adultery, cruelty, deceit, lack of godliness, murder, foul speech, selfishness, and violence.
For sinners taking their first steps to full sacred knowledge the accounts recorded in the Bible are important for gaining a “divine point of view” and understanding.  The holy writings reveal the active presence who is GOD appearing through thousands of events within thousands of lives over the course of thousands of years.  Developing believers are shown that Noah’s flood to destroy all living would only have eliminated sin on the earth.  Sin among the angels, and the stain of sin within the Temple of heaven must be addressed by the divine High Priest, Jesus Christ, who makes atonement and cleanses the Sanctuary in heaven by using his own blood.  Building the tower of Babel was a positive display of human cooperation and peace.  Yet, it was a rebellion thought necessary to ensure the survival of mankind in case of a second flood.  GOD said there would be no second flood; and mankind was to overspread the earth, rather than remain together in a single area.  Babel did not express desire to be “nearer to GOD;” Babel depicts disbelief, disobedience, lack of faith, and mankind having lost the “image of GOD.”
There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and made a part of our own developing belief.  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
