(12/03/2017) GOD Appearing As Christ

Trinity
A Depiction of Jesus with Mary, Joseph,
The Father and the Holy Spirit

Today, the divinity and humanity of Jesus Christ are considered.  Many experience some spiritual confusion seeking to understand what, on surface, are discrete states of being and conditions for life that are contradicting and mutually excluding.  Correctly understood, looking upon Christ is not looking upon a man in a process intended for GOD, rather it is looking upon GOD in a process intended for men.  The fixed patterns, regularities, and standards whereby we recognize an active presence having attributes of person and purpose that we label “divinity” are not the same as those that apply to mankind as a living creature.  It is no violation of law put forth by GOD to govern mankind that an aspect of divine fullness would appear on the earth using human form and substance to be visible, and to continue in exchange and ongoing relationship with mankind.  Even though the Christ would appear as the agent and image of the Father, while existing within the earth as a sphere of life, and for the sake of those with whom he would abide, the attitude, conduct, and expression of the Christ had to constantly be within the ranges for human communication, consciousness, and operations of self-will.  The writer in the “Yahoo! Questions for TRINITY believing Christians?

No JW'S please, I want to know what Trinity believers have to say about these things.

Jesus is quoted in the NT to say the Father is Greater than himself, calling out 'my God' on the cross, becoming like a servant by becoming man (Philliphians), and not knowing the hour of his return.

How do these fit with the trinity? I'm seeking truth and I'm really struggling to understand and see how thd trinity works,

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill?  But, lo, he speaketh boldly, and they say nothing unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ?  Howbeit we know this man whence he is:  but when Christ cometh, no man knoweth whence he is.  Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am:  and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.  But I know him:  for I am from him, and he hath sent me.  (John 7:  25-29, King James Version, KJV)

“AbdulRahman”, the benefits we receive and expect from Jesus Christ are not those men are capable of bestowing upon one another without anointing from divinity.  Just as my responding to you is an act of my faith and an expression of my own spirit content from GOD (Christians also say, life essence, breath, spirit, Word), the action and process of accepting Jesus Christ as an appearance of divine person and substance are only by operations of divine spirit content, rather than finite human intelligence, logic, carnal reason, and secular knowledge.  With this in view, genuine belief only emerges from the exchange and interaction among the inseparable aspects of divine fullness such as faith, forbearance, forgiveness, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

Regarding the authority, eternal person, and divine purpose whereby divinity appears having human form (we say, Incarnation), believers are to receive fresh endowments of the same spirit content from the makeup of GOD that resided within Jesus Christ, and will exist within him always.  As the “body” (church) and joint-heirs with Christ), his followers are to share through him the same oneness without sameness that exists among the persons of the GODhead.  Developing believers are instructed to rely most on the testimony and witness that comes from heaven more than on what has been spoken and recorded about Jesus on the earth:  His baptism, his transfiguration, the visions of John.

While on the earth and in the flesh, Jesus had to speak, think, and operate in accordance with natural law as do all men.  Where acts of faith, exorcism, and sacred events (miracles) unfold, it is by the power of GOD and the Holy Spirit that may work through flesh.  Thus, Jesus appears as part of a full revelation of divinity that uses thousands of events within thousands of lives over the course of thousands of years.  The Son of the Highest is to be the fulfillment of sacred promises, and is to complete multiple sacred operations to transform mankind to exist without sin.  In prophetic demonstration, Jesus dies on the cross, and is destroyed as an embodiment of all sin; he is raised from the dead and returns to heaven having already endured judgment for sin; he is restored as the High Priest who must make atonement within the Temple of Heaven; and he returns to claim all those from the earth who belong to him.

Jesus has shown that it is possible for men to exist on the earth and experience permanent change of their makeup and spirit content while they are living.  There must be rebirth, discovery, gradual growth, learning, and sanctification.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  1st Corinthians 12:  3, King James Version (KJV):  3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed:  and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

(2.)  1st John 5:  5-12, KJV:  5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?  6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost:  and these three are one.  8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood:  and these three agree in one.  9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater:  for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.  10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself:  he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.  11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.  12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

(3.)  Matthew 17:  1-6, KJV:  1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,  2 And was transfigured before them:  and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.  3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.  4 Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here:  if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.  5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them:  and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.  6 And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.

(4.)  2nd Peter 1:  16-21, KJV:  16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.  17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.  18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.  19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:  20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.  21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man:  but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  Romans 5:  5-9, KJV:  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
