(03/16/2016) The Cross and Resurrection Sunday?

Today, points are shared on the death of Jesus Christ upon the cross, and his resurrection from death as a prophetic demonstration and sign.  Many still fail to grasp that the revelation granted to mankind from divinity goes beyond the carnal, material, and social aspects of human experience.  Readers are cautioned to keep the following in mind as they consider the presentation below:
2nd Corinthians 4:  17-18, King James Version (KJV):  17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;  18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen:  for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
John 11:  24-26, KJV:  24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.  25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life:  he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:  26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
John 5:  44, KJV:  44 How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?
John 20:  1-3, KJV:  1 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.  2 Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.  3 Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre.

Why is Easter always on a Sunday?
When Christians took over Christmas as Jesus's birthday, they let it move along the week. So why isn't his resurrection on a set date instead of a set day ?
Update:  The question is an honest one, and there's nothing rude about it. The day was originally in honor of the goddess Istar. It was annexed as Jesus's rising from the dead. That doesn't explain why the date keeps moving around unless it's just an empty tradition. And not meant to mark the actual day of resurrection.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.  Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord:  for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,  And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:  That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;  If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.  Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect:  but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.  Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended:  but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,  I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.  Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded:  and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.  (Philippians 3:  7-15, KJV)

“Anonymous”, increasingly, the name “Resurrection Sunday” is used instead of “Easter”.  Many mature Christian believers trust that, despite time and space, through operations of the Holy Spirit, blood and truth from the cross are flowing to here and now.  Their faith is an aspect of inseparable spirit substance from the makeup of divinity that has been imparted to indwell mankind.  (Included also are gratitude, holiness, humility, joy, longsuffering, sorrow for sins, wisdom, and wrath against sin.)  To assist those who continue in spiritual confusion because of their dependence upon non-biblical sources and secular history, the name-change has been instituted.  The full humanity and mortality of Jesus is made to be more recognizable, remarkable, and unforgettable by the death of our Savior upon the cross.  Even so, only his resurrection provides the demonstration of sacred process for eternal life, final judgment, and the necessary sign that the divinity of his ministry and prophecies are authentic.  Consider again how this is stated using language from the Bible:
(1.)  Revelation 1:  4-7, King James Version (KJV):  4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia:  Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;  5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,  6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.  7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him:  and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
(2.)  Romans 1:  3-5, KJV:  3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;  4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:  5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:
(3.)  Revelation 20:  4-6, KJV:  4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them:  and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.  5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.  6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection:  on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
There is far more to be said, understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Revelation 20:  11-15, KJV:  11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.  12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened:  and another book was opened, which is the book of life:  and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.  13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them:  and they were judged every man according to their works.  14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.  15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
