(09/17/2015) If You Knew When?

Scripture points are shared, today, on anticipation, hope, sacred knowledge, unity and the Second Coming of Christ.  Given the church has been endowed with a wealth of information regarding the end times and prophecy to prepare believers for their harvesting from the earth (we say, Advent, the Rapture), that GOD is silent and withholds specific information about divine plans (e.g., the day and the hour) appears strange to many believers.  However, the process of divine prophecy is always for comfort, edification and exhortation.  Believers are to be further knit together and united realizing their eternal life is already begun.  Consider again from the King James Version (KJV), The secret things belong unto the LORD our God:  but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law (Deuteronomy 29: 29).  The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2nd Peter 3: 9).  Also recall Galatians 6:  8-10, KJV:  8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.  9 And let us not be weary in well doing:  for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.  10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.  The fighter at “Yahoo! What would you do if you knew, with great certitude, when Jesus will come back?

What I know is more important than that coming back of Jesus. Can you believe that!? because I know when Jesus will come back, as I know something bigger than that, much bigger. Can you believe I am not lying? I have facts but the issue is bigger for someone like me... None will believe me.

Is it worth tell people and let them think I am crazy? how much many to tell? Or should I just relax, let them err, wait until somehow they find it themselves?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Be ye therefore ready also:  for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.  Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all?  And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?  Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.  Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.  But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;  The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.  And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.  But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required:  and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.  (Luke 12:  40-48, KJV)

“Anis”, stay the course.  Often the issue among Christian believers is not what you know or whom to tell it to so much as the best way to go about routinely sharing what’s been bestowed upon you from GOD.  Christian believers are to become increasingly selfless and yoked to the will of GOD through the person of Jesus Christ.  As a result, what a believer receives is to continue the ministry, monarchy and priesthood of Jesus by serving the full body of believers.  Excitement and zeal are an ongoing aspect of life in Christ such that balance and perspective also are achieved that suppresses the appearance of fanaticism, hysteria, and sensationalism.  When granted special experiences of insight, testimony, visitation and witness, believers are to remain grounded, and to “stay on course” sharing within the body with humility and meekness.  Consider the following from the Scriptures:

(1.)  Matthew 12:  18-20, King James Version (KJV):  18 Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased:  I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.  19 He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets.  20 A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.

(2.)  James 1:  26, KJV:  26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain.

(3.)  1st Corinthians 13: 1-3, KJV:  1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.  2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.  3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

(4.)  1st Corinthians 14:  26, KJV:  26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.

(5.)  James 1:  5-10, KJV:  5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.  6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.  7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.  8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.  9 Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:  10 But the rich, in that he is made low:  because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.

(6.)  James 3:  13-18, KJV:  13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.  14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.  15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.  16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.  17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.  18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

There is much more that could be said, and that must be correctly understood and spiritually taken into account.  (For example, (7.)  Ephesians 2:  8-10, KJV:  8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:  9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.  10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
