Scripture points are shared, today, to answer disguised opposition to the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and his Creation that relies upon law for divine order. In their effort to abolish and eliminate divine demands for judgment, the enemies of Christ and the Gospel of Salvation repeatedly assault and contend against the continued acknowledgement and practice of all sacred law. The spiritual knowledge and truth shared through Jesus Christ enable the necessary discernment that allows believers to call such attacks by their proper name—sin. Those who foolishly insist that judgment is cruel and oppressive because there is punishment, often have failed to correctly appreciate that divine awe, balance, confession, correction, forbearance, forgiveness, impartiality, restoration and righteousness also are aspects of judgment. “Anonymous”, the body of law in family court and landlord/tenant court is not the same as “the law” in patent or tax court because of the many diverse issues and procedures that must come under review. Similarly, all divine commandments, law, legislation, and standards within the holy writings are not the same in their application, focus, purpose, and revelation. While divine law expresses the intent and will of Deity, sacred law also must address and expose multiple subtleties (i.e., barely visible differences; hidden shifts in meaning and value) associated with sin. Christian believers are being taught to recognize that the immutable and non-negotiable laws that pertain to being, existing, and continuing relationship with divinity are distinct from laws that describe ceremonies, rituals, and sacred practices of the tabernacle and temple as well as from those intended to create and maintain a nation under GOD through social conformity. Rather than a tool to deny and exclude created beings and living creatures, divine law is to be embraced as sacred knowledge that further makes GOD active and present within ones consciousness. Just as law ensures condemnation and destruction of wickedness, law provides a blue-print and guidelines to escape all divine wrath against sin. Here are some points to consider that have been useful to many Christian believers:
(1.) James 4: 11-12, King James Version (KJV): 11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. 12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
(2.) Luke 11: 52, KJV: 52 Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.
(3.) Romans 7: 5-7, KJV: 5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. 6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. 7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
(4.) 1st Corinthians 6: 2-3, KJV: 2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? 3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
There is far more that could be said, and that must be correctly understood and spiritually taken into account. (For example (5.)
