(04/26/2018) The Origin And Source

Today, following a brief period of jury service, reply is made on describing GOD using time and space, the primary human frameworks for ordering and preserving information.  The fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” forum who uses the ID “?” (Level 1 with 48 points, a member since August 17, 2016) posted the following:

When is God?
I keep hearing about God like when/what/who is it like is it a gadget or something? I'm so confused can someone please tell me?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.  (Malachi 3:  6, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Be Not Unequally Yoked (04/16/2018); What Is A Spirit? (03/06/2018); We Begin Within GOD (02/06/2018); “New Creation” and Life (01/01/2018); Thoughts On Divine Personhood (12/07/2017); Reasons for Our Existence? “?”, GOD is now, and ever shall be.  Where the frameworks of time and space are used for describing finite human experience of the Creator who is the origin and source for all that presently exists, has ever existed, and ever will be, how we speak of divinity often fails to acknowledge that GOD is spirit in character, makeup, and substance.  Divine fullness (we also say, the GODhead; the Trinity; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) must be understood as all-encompassing, eternal, and unchanging.  The inseparable aspects of divinity include authority, dominion, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, personhood, purpose, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

Consciousness and life within created beings and living creatures may be described as movement, and a continuous alignment and realignment of focus on objects that are part of ones own distinct form (self-awareness), as well as exchange and interaction with objects in, and the surrounding context and setting itself.  Multiple elements challenge, nourish, and support duration and stability (i.e., balance and completeness along with uninterrupted and continuous streaming of data and information from the emotions, the mind (e.g., imagination, recall, thought), the senses, and the imparted spirit content from the makeup of Deity (we say, the environment; the inner being; and the sphere(s) of life).

Christians rely on the revelation from GOD appearing in human form as Jesus Christ that was provided to establish a new creation by allowing the living to receive fresh deposits of divine spirit.  New levels of benefit, communication, privilege, and personal relationship now appear as shared by divinity with the living.  Included are forgiveness, grace, mercy in judgment, priesthood, salvation, and eternal life.  Mankind is to appreciate (regard; value) divine existence as omnipotent (unlimited; capable of carrying out, performing, and making actual or present numberless possibilities and eternal purposes).  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Genesis 1:  1-3, King James Version (KJV):  1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.  2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.  3 And God said, Let there be light:  and there was light.

(2.)  John 1:  1-3, KJV:  1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  2 The same was in the beginning with God.  3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

(3.)  Hebrews 1:  9-12, KJV:  9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.  10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:  11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;  12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed:  but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Hebrews 7:  19-28, KJV:  19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.  20 And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest:  21 (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)  22 By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.  23 And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death:  24 But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.  25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.  26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;  27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s:  for this he did once, when he offered up himself.  28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
