(11/02/2016) What Will Stop Me?

Today, iniquity, genuine repentance, reconciliation, and righteousness are topics.  The imparted, indwelling Spirit of GOD comes into view as an unstoppable control mechanism that instills authority, freedom, integrity, and self-government within Christian believers.  For those granted new life in Jesus Christ, the force of truth and zeal compel, and prompt believers, both to take godly action and to suppress the operations of sin.  Aspects of the flesh and “what we do” (e.g., attitudes, behavior, conduct) may appear to remain the same, yet, are transformed in divine judgment in terms of such elements as consequence, meaning, purpose, value, and weight.  Thus, as joint heirs and those having new relationship with the Father and the Spirit through the Son, believers speak of propitiation, reconciliation, repentance, and newness of life.  The writer at “Yahoo! Answers (Malaysia)” using the ID “Amelie” (Level 1 with 6 points, a member since July 07, 2015) posted the following:

If Christians were actually right, what would stop me from indulging my whims to torture innocent people to death, and then repenting?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:  old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.  And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;  To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.  Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us:  we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.  For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.  (2nd Corinthians 5:  17-21, King James Version, KJV)

“Amelie”, to “stop us,” the seed of GOD that makes us his children must grow and have power within the sinner.  Sin—that we ignorantly embrace as a necessary aspect of our being normal, natural, and “like everybody else”—is contrary, disruptive, and cannot be correctly recognized and resisted without the godliness intended as our true nature.  In becoming mature Christian believers, sinners must experience multiple levels of growth and stages of change that are initiated and completed through operations carried out by divinity.  In the same way the Creation of heaven and earth established the angels, animals, and mankind as created beings and living creatures, the ministry of Jesus Christ upon the earth having the cooperation and support of the Father and the Holy Spirit makes it possible for sinners to become transformed, first to exist as a new creation during their life time.  Then, following Advent (i.e., the harvest of those that belong to Christ and are “ripe”; the Rapture; the Second Coming) and the completion of Judgment, believers will exist as immortal, incorruptible companions to GOD for eternity.  Sinners are said to be “born again” only when they begin to acquire and apply sacred knowledge and spirit content that are imparted from the character, makeup, and substance of the Creator (we say, breath, life essence, spirit, word).  Included are faith, forbearance, forgiveness, holiness, love, meekness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Sin is no material thing that may be broken, eliminated and destroyed without specific actions possible only for GOD (e.g., Incarnation, resurrection, sanctification).  Sin has not been put forth or created by divinity; has direction, effect, and presence; and may dominate awareness and self-will within the living.  Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and the entire Creation.  Sin may well be the residue from  chaos and flux (i.e., random order and confused, moving streams made of nothing that now exists) that were in place before divine law manifest and revealed authority, coherence, duration, and order as emanated from the sovereign will of GODhead.  The difference between the mature believer and the sinner is spoken of as discipline, spiritual maturity, love expressed as restraint and self denial, respect, reverence, righteousness, and trust.  I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
