(11/10/2020) Made Perfect By Divinity

Today, reply is on the requirement that covenant relationship as a Christian demands “perfection”. Followers of Jesus Christ are to be made divine in their nature and possibilities through the final sacred acts that complete the transformation of mankind to exist as an eternal companion to divinity. Like depending on Jesus to provide immortality and incorruptibility, submitting to be made perfect through the operations of GOD does not discourage, intimidate, or go beyond what followers of the Lord will accomplish by relying on the finished works of Christ. It is written: 1st Corinthians 15: 50-57, King James Version (KJV): 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality who uses the ID “jimmie” (Level 1 with 242 points) posted the following:

Since even the prophets weren't perfect people how are we supposed to be perfect?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. (James 1: 2-4, KJV)

jimmie”, among Christians, to be “perfect” is to lack nothing, and to be in a divine process of transformation, yet, to display fullness, integrity, and soundness. There are assurances and promises from GOD that seal and make divine proclamations and prophecy as if already done. Perfection may be attributed to someone (i.e., imputed) even though it is developing and ongoing. In the same way our becoming adult requires that we increasingly display maturity (such features as accountability, balance, consistency, sobriety, stability) and do not simply age or get older, sinners who become “born again” following the death and burial of their inborn spirit through water baptism must “grow up again” and be made ripe for harvest from the earth by Jesus Christ at his coming. The final operations to establish perfection are completed as those in resurrection and those lifted up go to meet the Savior in the air. While still on the earth, sinners are to acknowledge forbearance, forgiveness and divine restraint that are expressions of celestial grace, rather than the direct outcomes and results of divine judgment. Every Christian believer must undergo permanent change that is provided by multiple operations of the Holy Spirit. Included are edification, gradual growth, justification, repentance, reconciliation, sanctification, and willingness to perform unselfish service. Along with demonstrating the “patience of the saints,” those who will follow Christ are to exist as the new creation displaying divine substance such as longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, praise, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Believers are to resemble, reflect, and reveal the character and likeness of Jesus within their own lifestyle and daily routines. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible and a selection from the music ministry of Babbie Mason:

(1.) 1st Kings 8: 57-66, King James Version (KJV): 57 The LORD our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us: 58 That he may incline our hearts unto him, to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and his statutes, and his judgments, which he commanded our fathers. 59 And let these my words, wherewith I have made supplication before the LORD, be nigh unto the LORD our God day and night, that he maintain the cause of his servant, and the cause of his people Israel at all times, as the matter shall require: 60 That all the people of the earth may know that the LORD is God, and that there is none else. 61 Let your heart therefore be perfect with the LORD our God, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day. 62 And the king, and all Israel with him, offered sacrifice before the LORD. 63 And Solomon offered a sacrifice of peace offerings, which he offered unto the LORD, two and twenty thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the children of Israel dedicated the house of the LORD. 64 The same day did the king hallow the middle of the court that was before the house of the LORD: for there he offered burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings: because the brasen altar that was before the LORD was too little to receive the burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings. 65 And at that time Solomon held a feast, and all Israel with him, a great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt, before the LORD our God, seven days and seven days, even fourteen days. 66 On the eighth day he sent the people away: and they blessed the king, and went unto their tents joyful and glad of heart for all the goodness that the LORD had done for David his servant, and for Israel his people.

(2.) Matthew 5: 43-48, KJV: 43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? 47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? 48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

(3.) Romans 4: 8-13, KJV: 8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. 9 Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness. 10 How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision. 11 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also: 12 And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised. 13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) Pray On by Babbie Mason @ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agh0uZZ0Bxc.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(10/21/2020) Prayer and Mental Health?

The image depicts David playing the harp and providing music therapy to King Saul who experienced episodes of madness caused by unclean spirits.

Today, points are shared on the use of prayer to regain emotional and mental health. The things from GOD to provide balance, hope, joy, order, and security in our lives are numberless, even so, believers do not experience change as magic and overnight success. There must be discovery, gradual growth, learning, patience, persistence, and hard work that demonstrates faith. Fasting, prayer, and other sacred practices can not be used to influence or manipulate divinity. Healing of body, mind, or spirit must be understood in accord with sacred law, divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD. It is written: Mark 12: 29-31, King James Version (KJV): 29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: 30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! THE GOLDEN ARROW: For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2nd Timothy 1: 7, KJV)

Anonymous”, here are some points you may find helpful that address prayer among mature Christian believers:

1. Prayer should be understood as a sacred discipline and practice to establish and maintain regular communication, exchange, and interaction with GOD who may be known as divinity, the Godhead, or the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Properly understood, those offering prayer are to resemble, reflect, and reveal the same spirit presence and process that was in Jesus Christ while he was on the earth using human form and life-process.

2. Prayer is a sacred event wherein a person gives expression to their own divine content imparted as “life essence” (breath; spirit; word) from the makeup of GOD, received as a fresh endowment of spirit substance in rebirth, or carried out in ones lifestyle and daily routine as resurrection-life from Jesus Christ.

3. Christian believers use many different displays and gestures when presenting their prayers to divinity such as females covering/males uncovering the head; making the sign of the cross; and speaking in tongues, speaking aloud, or speaking silently through thought. In addition to asking for help and material resources from GOD, confession and truth-speaking should always be primary goals during prayer.

4. Prayer is provided by divinity to address spiritual needs, and should be practiced in balance with other sacred practices (e.g., praise; unselfish service; worship). The material and social patterns identified as immaturity; behavioral, emotional, mental, and psychological illness; insanity; exaggerated pride; the operations of sin; and temporary confusion often are best regarded as expressions of the flesh rather than as defining expressions of a persons integrity and spiritual fullness from GOD.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, from the music ministry of Christine Wrytzen, The Fire @ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CRbZKJXeIRI.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(10/17/2020) Why So Many Churches?

Today, reply is on the operations of divinity as omnipresent, and why there are countless churches and houses of worship on the earth. Correctly understood, the church founded by Jesus Christ is not so much a material location within the frameworks of time and space as it is an ongoing spiritual relationship between the Creator and the created. Through finite, human church assemblies there is access for mankind to otherwise hidden and unseen sacred resources that must be received through discovery, gradual growth, ministry to others, sacred practice, mutual respect, study of the holy writings, unselfish service, and suffering. In the same way the New Jerusalem that now is being constructed in heaven will serve as a habitation for mankind upon the earth made new, the flesh of mankind is to exist as the new creation and a habitation of GOD through the Spirit. It is written: Ephesians 2: 11-22, King James Version (KJV): 11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; 12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: 13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. 14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; 15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; 16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: 17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. 18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. 19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow-citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. If God is everywhere the why do people go to church ?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word. He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dogs neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swines blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations. 4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not. 5 Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my names sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed. Lol”, properly understood, church buildings exist as areas for regular assemblies and gatherings of developing and mature followers of Jesus Christ that are consecrated and set apart (we say, sanctified through prayer, unselfish service, and suffering). Christian beliefs pertain to the Creation of heaven and earth, the duration of existence and life as well as the possibilities for mankind to continue in an eternal relationship as a living companion to immortal, incorruptible, invisible divinity. The process and substance of divine fullness (we also say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) is spirit in its character, makeup, process and substance. Divinity has used human form and life-process to exist on the earth (as seen through their Incarnation as Jesus Christ). Even so, GOD only appears to created beings and living creatures as life essence (i.e., breath; spirit; utterance; word) that is diffuse, measureless, and without physical dimensions. GOD may not be influenced and manipulated by the living through finite human social behavior such as begging, deceit, and weeping, for divinity holds to immutable principles and sacred law that proclaim the integrity of GOD through attributes of faithfulness, holiness, oneness without sameness, and righteousness. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible and a selection from the music ministry demonstrating the cleansing and restoration to purity provided for the Sagrada Familia Cathedral in Barcelona, Spain:

(1.) Acts 17: 24-31, King James Version (KJV): 24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; 25 Neither is worshipped with mens hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; 26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; 27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: 28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. 29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and mans device. 30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: 31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

(2.) 1st Corinthians 3: 16-17, KJV: 16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

(3.) 1st Corinthians 6: 19-20, KJV: 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are Gods.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) (10/11/2020) Why Are Sinners "saved?"

A depiction of a seraph from the vision granted to the Prophet Ezekiel.

Today, reply is on divine salvation to preserve sacred content within the living, and the idea that men are granted wings and become angels when they die. Properly understood, sinners are not “saved”, rather the divine substance that remains within them is to be saved. The present process of GOD for mankind upon the earth provides forbearance, grace, reconciliation, and renewal through Jesus Christ. Among Christians the continuous worship of angels as equals or substitutes for Jesus is accounted as little different from the keeping of idolatry, the practice of occultism, or plain superstition. Divinity is the origin and source of all that has existence or life; and despite the transgression of sacred law committed by the first pair (Adam), mankind continues as an authentic expression of divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD. Sinners are to practice repentance, and mercy is bestowed on those found guilty in judgment in keeping with their identity as the offspring and vessels on the earth that embody divine substance, yet, that require cleansing, death, the Incarnation of divinity as Jesus Christ, and the gifts of resurrection life. Continuing with counsels intended for the people of GOD through Jesus Christ, it is written: 2nd Corinthians 5: 14-20, King James Version (KJV): 14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: 15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. 16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christs stead, be ye reconciled to God. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality who uses the ID “N Harmonia” (Level 2 with 870 points) posted the following:

So why should you sinners be saved? You wouldn't be free without wings?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past. And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there. I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work. I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts. For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity. All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again. Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth? (Ecclesiastes 3: 15-21, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Death Normal For GOD? (10/05/2020); GOD Can Forgive Us (09/13/2020); Always Connected By Spirit (08/30/2020); Divine Forgiveness Ministers Grace (07/20/2020); Forgiveness A Sacred Practice (05/28/2020); Demonstrating Dependence on GOD (04/20/2020); The Resurrection Of Christ (04/16/2020)

N Harmonia”, among mature Christian believers salvation for sinners who acknowledge GOD through repentance appears as an immutable and unchanging aspect of the makeup, process, and eternal purposes displayed by divine fullness (i.e., divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit). Judgment is the assignment of value, and the examination of created beings and living creatures for their content of spirit-matter imparted from GOD as life essence (we say, breath; spirit; utterance; word), or as a fresh endowment of the divine nature made possible by Jesus Christ. The image of GOD is to appear within mankind and be a stamp upon all Creation. Multiple divine operations are carried out to acknowledge, preserve, recover, and restore the sacred content provided to Adam in the Creation. Included are balance, commitment, faith, holiness, humility, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. While on the earth, the followers of Jesus are to exist as the new creation, and are to resemble, reflect, and reveal the character and likeness of Jesus. Just as dogs do not become cats or goats become horses, where men complete their mortality (die), they are not made by GOD to become angels or any other living creature. Rather, those chosen through judgment will become perfected as humans who are immortal companions to GOD. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Acapeldrige, High Above the Seraphim:

(1.) Ezekiel 1: 1-10, King James Version (KJV): 1 Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God. 2 In the fifth day of the month, which was the fifth year of king Jehoiachins captivity, 3 The word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there upon him. 4 And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire. 5 Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man. 6 And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings. 7 And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calfs foot: and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass. 8 And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings. 9 Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward. 10 As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.

(2.) Colossians 2: 6-12, KJV: 6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. 8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: 11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: 12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

(3.) Colossians 2: 18-19, KJV: 18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, 19 And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.

(10/05/2020) Death Normal For GOD?

A depiction of the crucifixion by Salvador Dali

Today, reply is on the integrity of divine fullness being in a continuing relationship with created beings and living creatures on the earth along with whether it is “normal” to believe that GOD may die. The death of Jesus Christ on behalf of all divinity was a sacred event that must exist as a one-time act of GOD never to be repeated; and that must be apprehended and received through faith. Among developing and mature Christians, to manifest grace is “normal” for divinity. Because GOD is understood as the origin and source for all material things that exist including the full universe it is in line with human intellect, logic, and carnal reason to assume that divinity is all-powerful, immortal, and invincible. It remains a result from the operations of sin and of the flesh that divine process and sacred substance are required whereby mankind receives the appearance of GOD on the earth (we say, Incarnation) using authentic human form and life process (e.g., birth, aging, maturation, death). It is written: 1st John 4: 7-11, King James Version (KJV): 7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” Religion & Spirituality who uses the ID “kei” (Level 1 with 43 points) posted the following:

Christians believe that Jesus died. As a God, is it normal. ?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2: 20, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: A Matter Of Self-will? (10/04/2020); Incarnation, Death and Resurrection (05/11/2020); The Resurrection Of Christ (04/16/2020); Grace Abounds Much More (04/02/2020); Born Mortal or Immortal? (03/11/2020); Entered Into Divine Glory (09/03/2019); That Not Of Yourselves (08/13/2019)

kei”, among Christian believers divine fullness (we also say, divinity; the Creator; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) are active and present within the existence and life of all living creatures and created beings. Divinity resides within a special sphere of life (we say a celestial, sanctified, and set-apart realm; heaven), yet, communicates, has exchange, and interacts with those who are alive on the earth. There is a divine connection between GOD and the living. Mankind has received life essence (i.e., breath; spirit; utterance; word) from the makeup and substance of GOD that includes inseparable aspects of the divine nature such as balance, commitment, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Even so, the Creation has come under the influence of divine sanctions (i.e., statements within the law of GOD that require consequences both for obedience and for transgression that is understood as sin). The first pair (Adam) became subject to death as a result of transgression, and could only be preserved by operations of divinity that include an extensive array of sacred provisions. Included are atonement, forbearance, forgiveness, inheritance, mercy granted to those found guilty in judgment, justification, rebirth, redemption, restoration, resurrection for the dead, salvation, sanctification, the completing of mortality, the sacrificial death of Christ on the cross, and the second death. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Steve Amerson:

(1.) Romans 6: 3-14, King James Version (KJV): 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7 For he that is dead is freed from sin. 8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: 9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. 10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. 11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. 12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

(2.) John 3: 16-21, KJV: 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

(3.) Romans 14: 7-9, KJV: 7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. 8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lords. 9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

(4.) Hebrews 10: 12-21, KJV: 12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; 13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. 14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. 15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, 16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; 17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. 18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; 21 And having an high priest over the house of God; 22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

(10/04/2020) A Matter Of Self-will?

A depiction of Jesus Christ acknowledging GOD the Father at Gethsemane.

Today, reply is on the opposition against divinity that resides within mankind through self-will. Human obedience, respect, reverence, and submission to GOD often appear to be predicated on mankinds willful acceptance and insistence that human traits appear within the divine fullness. It is more consistent with the holy writings that mankind be recognized as a vessel containing divine deposits and endowments from the makeup of GOD. It is by mutuality of a divine character, consecrated presence, and a sacred nature that there are opportunities and possibilities for clear accord, and ongoing communication between the Creator and the created. Discussions of the sacred duty, sacrifice, and unselfishness carried out by Jesus Christ also require affirmation of divinity demonstrating consecrated grace, expressing divine prerogative, fulfilling eternal purpose, suppressing self-will, and manifesting the sovereign will of GOD. Within Christ, sacrifice is no longer a matter of formal ceremony and ritual, rather it is an act of dedication, lovingkindness through judgment, sanctification, and voluntary surrender. It is written: Psalms 40: 5-10, King James Version (KJV): 5 Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered. 6 Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required. 7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, 8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart. 9 I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, thou knowest. 10 I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation. 'Jesus was a willing sacrifice': can anyone please explain what this means?

Did he feel he was doing something good by allowing people to execute him?

Was it not a pre-decided or predetermined outcome, just some events, and a guy accepting that he will be executed, and not trying to avoid it, even though he could have?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done. (Matthew 26: 42, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Divine Character Must Appear (08/13/2020); Divine Process and Substance (06/24/2020); Spiritual Integrity and Maturity (05/12/2020); Divine Fruit From Suffering? (12/19/2018); Yes, Jesus Did Die (04/01/2018); Comparing Sacred and Secular (03/15/2018); His Suffering At Gethsemane (03/12/2018)

Anonymous”, the focus must be on self-will and its place in determining the integrity of human existence. Among mature Christian believers the transgression (i.e., violation of sacred law; sin) committed by Adam should be seen as an expression of the life essence and sacred substance imparted to mankind from the makeup of divinity as well as a display of the content of human consciousness and self-will (willpower). Inseparable aspects of divinity were provided to man that included balance, commitment, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Although GOD has not put forth any aspect or spirit of sin, divinity shares in the accountability humanity must acknowledge for the origins of sin. The male and female existed as an appearance of divine authority and power, and as an expression of sacred love, yet, the pair were subject to mechanical process and natural law. Following the sin of Adam, the priesthood being carried out within heaven then was made available on the earth using divine operations for atonement, expiation, remission, and sacrifice that made visible the otherwise unseen operations of GOD through divine grace and the Holy Spirit. Divinity appeared on the earth using the form and life process of humanity (we say, the Incarnation as Jesus Christ) to demonstrate to mankind the authentic process and substance for fulfilling the demands (sanctions) of divine law (death) as well as for human repentance, rebirth, reconciliation, and for man to exist as the new creation. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Steve Amerson:

(1.) Romans 5: 10-15, King James Version (KJV): 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: 13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adams transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. 15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

(2.) Romans 5: 18-21, KJV: 18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. 19 For as by one mans disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. 20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: 21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

(3.) 1st Timothy 3: 16, KJV: 16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

(4.) Hebrews 10: 12-18, KJV: 12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; 13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. 18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

(06/16/2020) Multiple Relationships With GOD?

The image depicts the outpouring of the Holy Spirit to mankind that was received by the disciples of Jesus at Pentecost.

Today, reply is on the multiple relationships with divine fullness that are made possible through the revelation of divinity as Jesus Christ and as the imparted Spirit of GOD (we also say, the Comforter, the spirit of burning and judgment, the Spirit of Prophecy, the Spirit of Truth). Promise and prophecy are recorded in Genesis assuring mankind that their sacred content and spirit substance lost through transgression by the first pair eventually would be restored through one of their offspring. It is written: Acts 2: 1-4, King James Version (KJV): 1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality who uses the ID “E. L.” (Level 1 with 106 points) posted the following:

what is the meaning of romans 8:26-27? What is Paul teaching here?
I'm trying to learn the bible

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. (Romans 8: 5-9, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Knowing The True Messiah (05/31/2020); The Ones Called “Sheep” (05/29/2020); The Return of Yeshua (05/21/2020); A Habitation of Spirit (04/05/2020); Spirit Process and Substance (02/27/2020); A Complete Divine Revelation (11/15/2019); The Spirit and Prophecy (01/04/2017)

E. L.”, here are some points of understanding that mature believers are encouraged to share within the church founded by Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is an inseparable aspect of the divine fullness (we also say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Ghost) that has appeared on the earth and has been made manifest to mankind. The primary sacred knowledge, process, and revelation for mankind to be in a continuous relationship with GOD derives from divine law, life essence (breath; spirit; utterance; word) imparted from the makeup of GOD, and the appearance of divinity using human form and life process as Jesus Christ. GOD is experienced as more than an abstraction, an origin, or a source; and becomes knowable, known, approachable and accessible through ongoing exchange and interaction with the living. Thus, men are not simply material “things” created by an invisible superior being. There are multiple agreements, covenants, and consecrated operations that make possible a number of diverse personal relationships with divinity. Included are adoption, anointing, atonement, birth, death, inheritance, justification, praise, promise, prophecy, rebirth, reconciliation, redemption, resurrection from the dead, servitude, and glorification. The aspects of divine fullness all display completeness, oneness without sameness, interdependence, integrity, longsuffering, lovingkindness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. GOD exists within created beings and living creatures as active presence, and may reside within their consciousness and self-will (willpower). Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible and a selection from the music ministry of Carol Dennis:

(1.) Isaiah 55: 6-12, King James Version (KJV): 6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. 12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

(2.) Isaiah 11: 1-5, KJV: 1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: 2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; 3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: 4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. 5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

(3.) Zechariah 4: 1-6, KJV: 1 And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep. 2 And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof: 3 And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof. 4 So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord? 5 Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. 6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

(4.) Romans 8: 26-27, KJV: 26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

(06/10/2020) Law And The Prophets

The image is from a frieze depicting the Law and the Prophets with Moses, Elijah and Joshua by John Singer Sargent

Today, reply is on “the law and the prophets” as described in the Scriptures. Through Adam and his sons who served as Patriarchs, a priesthood appeared that made atonement on the earth modeled after that in the heaven. The regular use of judges who would resolve conflicts and settle disputes by applying the law, and the ongoing use of prophets for admonition, guidance, and warning both would be established as part of the perpetual covenant of Israel began through Moses. It is written: Matthew 5: 11-20, King James Version (KJV): 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. 13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. 17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality using the ID “andrew” (Level 1 with 100 points) posted the following:

how prophets are described ?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. (2nd Peter 1: 16-21, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Why Is Passover Important? (03/01/2020); The Place to Start (12/23/2019); A Death Penalty Necessary? (11/27/2019); Moses Appearing Having Glory (11/25/2019); Prophets After Jesus Christ? (06/04/2019); How GOD Speaks Today (12/10/2018); The Priesthood of Adam (11/02/2018)

andrew”, for many believers today, “the law” means the Torah, the Covenant of Moses, or the Ten Commandments; issues of correction, discipline, living routines, and punishment are foremost. While, “the prophets” mean the major and minor servants of GOD identified as messengers and spokespersons in the Old Testament writings. For Christian believers, “the law and the prophets” can be understood as the two earliest streams of divine revelation to mankind whereby divinity was made knowable, known, accessible, and approachable. The life essence (i.e., breath; spirit; utterance; word) imparted to Adam from the makeup of GOD included inseparable content from the divine fullness such as balance, consciousness, integrity, personhood, self-will, wisdom, and wrath against sin. The endowment of spirit from GOD is what Christians also call the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Prophecy, the Spirit of Truth. Transgression of the sacred law by the male and female pair disrupted divine order throughout the universe, for the divine law and its sanctions are immutable. Mankind became subject to imperatives within the law that require an utter destruction of sin that we speak of as the second death. Mankind presently is in a season of grace wherein, rather than interventions that display authority, dominion, and power to force and impose divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD, graphic and memorable displays of the character and nature of divinity (we say, the image of GOD) are being made that will allow mankind to resemble, reflect, and reveal the character and likeness of Jesus Christ. Those who become born-again also must grow-up again, and become mature and ripe for harvest by the Lord at his appearing. As vessels of divine DNA so to speak, the sons and daughters of GOD who are joint-heirs with Jesus are to develop through discovery, gradual growth, sacred practice, prophecy, unselfish service, study of the holy writings, and suffering. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of John Michael Talbot:

(1.) Exodus 20: 18-21, King James Version (KJV): 18 And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off. 19 And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die. 20 And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not. 21 And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was.

(2.) John 4: 23-24, KJV: 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

(3.) James 5: 9-11, KJV: 9 Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door. 10 Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience. 11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

(4.) Revelation 22: 8-10, KJV: 8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. 9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellow-servant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. 10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (5.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6E91OE5u1wA.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
