(12/01/2015) A GOD of Judgment

Scripture points are shared on accountability and whether mankind is being held to divine standards.  Various principles for judgment, trust, and sanctified relationship are in place between divinity and mankind through the ministry of Jesus Christ.  The bonds that continually connect the created and the Creator include duty, exclusive devotion, expectation (hope), fidelity, respect, imparted spirit, and sacrifice.  As aspects of the full Divine Person who is eternal and immutable, judgment and wrath against sin also must be revealed, and may not be manipulated; however, the basis and focus of judgment can be altered and transformed.  In Christ, it is secondary that men are accountable for sins; believers are accountable instead for such aspects of new life as acknowledgment, divine gifts, gratitude, praise, reverence, producing spiritual fruit, serving divinity, and worship.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Why do some Christians say god holds us accountable for our actions, yet other Christians say god does "NOT" hold us accountable?

So, we have Christians here insisting god does 2 "opposite" things. This proves that Christians make it up as they go along and have NO IDEA of what their god thing is or isn't.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:   And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?  Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.  Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.  But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;  The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.  And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.  But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required:  and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.  (Luke 12:  47-48, KJV)

“Jay”, there are numberless things that explain the differences between and among Christian believers (for example, age, birth order, culture, ethnicity, geographical origin).  Even so, regarding the sacred operations for redemption, salvation, and the maintenance of divine Creation, there is only one faith, one baptism, one GOD and Father of all.  The divinity we serve as Christian believers is what some call a “god of judgment.”  Divinity continues to display and reveal eternal purposes, and impart sacred substance through divine law, judgment, prophecy, and truth. Consider again the following points from the Bible:

(1.)   Exodus 20:  1-7, King James Version (KJV):  1 And God spake all these words, saying,  2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.  3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.  4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.  5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them:  for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;  6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.  7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

(2.)  Ezekiel 18:  19-21, KJV:  19 Yet say ye, Why? doth not the son bear the iniquity of the father? When the son hath done that which is lawful and right, and hath kept all my statutes, and hath done them, he shall surely live.  20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son:  the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.  21 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

(3.)  Ephesians 4:  4-6, KJV:  4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;  5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,  6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

(4.)  2nd Timothy 4: 1-3, KJV:  1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;  2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.  3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  2nd Timothy 1:  7-10, KJV:  7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.  8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner:  but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;  9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,  10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: )  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Many are called, but few will show themselves to be the elect.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
