(02/22/2015) Forced To Attend Church?

Today, points are shared on church attendance as a benefit and duty for developing Christian believers, and conversion to Islam to avoid “god”.  Those having nothing to offer, and who do not participate to add value, are useless and their absence will be ignored.  A fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using an ID “Luca” (Level 1 with 4 points, a member since February 27, 2014) attacked with the following:

Why do I have to go to church?

I lost my faith in this thing people call a god and I want to convert to Islam but my parents won't let me I want to follow a religion of peace

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;  I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot:  I would thou wert cold or hot.  So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.  Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:  I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.  As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten:  be zealous therefore, and repent.  (Revelation 3:  14-19, KJV)

“Luca”, here are some points to consider on young people attending church, a place to gain sacred knowledge:

(1.)  Going to church without faith is like going to a movie without eyes to see.  You must depend upon what you hear to grant you “inner sight;” and you go to get what you lack and are missing—even the miracle of baptism whereby your inborn spirit that is dead to GOD finally will be buried, and you can be granted new life (we say, rebirth) from divine DNA, so to speak.

(2.)  Going to church is not simply about you as an individual, it is also about you as a family member displaying love; having respect to friends, neighbors and parents; and sharing what you receive that has spiritual value to others.

(3.)  Spirit content in life events can only be recognized, received, applied, responded to, and properly understood (we say, discerned) through association with those having greater levels of spiritual awareness than your own, and through careful practice that extends over time.  Spiritual maturity does not occur by abracadabra or presto change-o.

(4.)  Your idea that Islam does not acknowledge any god is very dangerous as well as insulting to those who worship Allah.  If one of your friends said to you, “Give me your word, and promise me something.”  Wouldn’t you ask, “What?” before making a commitment that might mean life and death?  Make sure you know the meaning of peace (among men?  with divinity?  through divine judgment or human wars?); and accept you will be required to change so that you continually demonstrate discipline, right knowledge, and unselfish service (as all Christians must do).

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  Lasting relationships within families are only on the basis of accountability, shared experience, a one-of-a-kind common heritage (we also say, inheritance), obedience, respect, trust, and truth.  More benefits are involved than a defiant or rebellious child can possibly grasp through a verbal explanation.  For those who are still developing, being required to attend church is no more brain-washing or bullying than being required to be in bed by a certain hour.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith and spiritual maturity.
