Why is Jesus' resurrection still relevant to Christians today?
What are the main points as to why Jesus' resurrection is still relevant?
Also, can someone explain to me what is meant by atonement and how I could relate it to this question?

“Guest0261”, answers for classroom exams should conform to the material shared by ones instructor in their actual classroom presentations and home assignments. Responses that depart from the syllabus, and added ideas are usually frowned upon, and graded with low marks. Even so, here are a few points relevant to modern Christian belief:
(1.) Christ is alive, today. The resurrection of Christ has been a carnal and material demonstration of divine sovereignty over all Creation. Authority, majesty and power are displayed over such elements as birth, existence, life, death, and rebirth. All things that exist do not have life, and are not intended to have eternal existence. Through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, eternal purposes and divine intent are made known to created beings and living creatures that would otherwise be invisible and unknown.
(2.) It is a truth that can not be reversed or eliminated by a single divine act, that the operations of sin always result in death for mortal beings. The full revelation of GOD includes salvation from permanent death through judgment that appears with such divine operations as atonement, baptism (death of ones inborn spirit, burial in water, being raised having spirit content from GOD), covenant, forgiveness, repentance, and sanctification.
(3.) Resurrection is distinct from simply being returned from the dead to continue ones life upon the earth. Resurrection is for the purpose of appearing before deity in final judgment. Divine judgment is the necessary process for resolution of conflict and the settlement of disputes through sacred law. Thus, judgment permits a full manifestation of divine righteousness. Atonement both establishes one access into the divine presence through prayer and supplication as well as ones status as cleansed from sin and its consequences through application of holy life substance (blood and spirit).
There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) The resurrection of Jesus itself is not the “final answer” to the need of mankind that has been imposed by death and sin. The “ultimate” answer is the imparting of divine gifts through an endowment of divinity. Sacred matter from the makeup of GOD, so to speak, is imparted, and continuously indwells the born again believer who acknowledges the spiritual power in the resurrection of Christ. Included are inseparable aspects from the makeup of GOD such as faith, forbearance, holiness, hope, joy, longsuffering, truthfulness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. The transformation of mankind to become immortal and incorruptible along with permanent changes for the various spheres of live will be completed only at the Advent, or second coming of Jesus.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
