Today, points are shared on judgment, divine revelation, the workings of sin as seen through the contrasts between Moses and Pharaoh, and Bible accounts of the ten plagues against Egypt. Also, there is more on GOD, adultery, and fornication. A “Yahoo! Answers” writer using ID “Sherry” (Level 1 with zero points, a member since July 19, 2007) posted the following:

THE BATTLE AXE: GOD and Adultery? (06/11/2014)—(5.) Many want to criticize the teachings of the Bible on sexual relationships as too strict. For example, our Savior, Jesus Christ, has taught that adultery and the many crimes against ones own flesh begin through desire that results in sin. A person may become guilty of adultery by merely looking upon a man or woman with lust. Silently indulging a sexual fantasy is the same as having engaged in intercourse with that person. Those who seek a name and reputation for Christian innocence, righteousness and sexual purity are challenged to maintain virginity and integrity within marriage as clear demonstrations of divine discipline, and that their flesh and mind are ruled by an endowment of the same Holy Spirit that was in Jesus. When awareness, imagination, reason, self-will, and careful thought become dominated by sin, ones knowledge of divine law and sacred truth are suppressed. The spirit nature they display is that of an animal, and no longer shows forth the aspects of divine grace that are to indwell men and angels. (6.) Fornication (joining of spirits through sexual activity) is spoken of in Scripture as a sin against ones own body, because fornication results in subtle (barely visible differences, hidden shifts) and permanent changes in ones own spirit content, and that of each sexual partner. Even where only two spirits are joined in holy matrimony, and a couple shares completing their virginity, the pair must experience inner conflict until ones inborn spirit is reconciled to the spirit from their spouse now being always present. This reconciliation progresses smoothly where there is also the continuing presence of the Spirit of GOD. Where a couple has repeatedly engaged in casual sex, they are joined to spirits from persons they do not know, and with whom they may never have direct sexual contact. Thus, where a male has had 10 partners (1 + 10), and a female has had eight partners (1 + 8), together they will contain multiple spirits (do the math), that may not be in agreement with their inborn spirit. While some of the spirits introduced may improve, reinforce and strengthen the inborn spirit, the host risks an imbalance of 19 against 1. (Suppose the 10 also each have had ten, and the 8 each have had eight…do the math.) As surely as the fornicator may contract a sexually transmitted disease (STD), or encounter unwanted pregnancy, they may begin to display unfamiliar attitudes, desires, and impulses. Depression, despair, fear, and an increased sense of loneliness may appear from “out of nowhere.” As with disease and pregnancy, family, friends and others may become aware of change and strangeness in their behavior and conduct, before the fornicator can understand or realize a difference within themselves. At first, ones spouse will only have a vague feeling that their mate is engaged in an extramarital affair. Once jealousy (a divine spirit of accountability and commitment in relationship) has been stirred, the faithful spouse will not rest until the attack against their marriage has been overturned, and their spouse who has strayed is returned. Where a person repeatedly shares themselves with prostitutes or professional sex workers the number of joined spirits may be phenomenal. The demoniac spoken of in the Bible called Legion, because he contained thousands of unclean spirits, may have welcomed and acquired them by fornication. In a similar way, those committing rape, gang rape, and who violate others by similar crimes expose themselves to total ruin, and practice self-destruction. There is no medical cure or remedy for fornication. Aggressiveness, hostility, pride, selfishness and violence will not cover, or hide spiritual confusion and infirmity. The chains and lasting spirit bonds made through fornication can only be broken and removed by experiences of divine presence, faith, and infusions of virtue from GOD. “Sherry”, here are a few of the points Christian believers use to correctly understand Bible teachings about the nature of divinity as seen through the conflict between Moses and Pharaoh:
(1.) The ten plagues are not merely punishments intended to destroy Pharaoh and the people of Egypt. They are divine revelations through judgment (the resolution of conflict by applying the standards from divine law; the settlement of disputes through law), and are intended to supply many different sacred displays. Included are authority, correction (indications of what one must do to avoid repeating error), encouragement to learn and grow (we may say, change), operations by the unseen Spirit of GOD, eternal purpose, power, sacred events (we say, miracles), truth, and warning.
(2.) The language of the Bible is that Pharaoh’s heart was hardened; and many take this to mean his emotions and feelings became angry and negative. Showing both differences and sameness for Pharaoh and Moses, GOD portrays the outcomes for the workings of sin among all created beings and living creatures—including the holy angels in heaven among whom sin was first discovered. Without provisions from GOD, the living are unable to discern and recognize that sin is present, or to resist sin as something contrary to their own nature, foreign, and strange.
(3.) The divine will has not created or generated sin, and is not subject to sin. However, sin may dominate awareness and self-will in the created. Sin cannot be eliminated as though it were made of physical or spirit material; and sin may not be removed by a single, act of destruction from GOD without also causing upheaval for order throughout the universe. Like sacred law, the account of the ten plagues is intended to make sin known and visible, and clarify the operations of GOD for salvation.
There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) GOD does not cause Pharaoh to deny Moses by introducing or increasing a spirit of cruelty, hatred, hostility, and stubbornness. Rather, GOD turns against Pharaoh by withdrawing himself (i.e., no longer supplying and supporting the divinity contained within Pharaoh). Pharaoh was deprived of inseparable (where you find one, you have all) aspects of the same spirit that formed heaven and earth. Included were faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, love, truthfulness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.). Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
