(05/12/2014) GOD Permits Evil?

Judgment by and against divinity are topics, today.  Also, there is more on the body of Moses, glory, and resurrection.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using ID “FAT MAN” (Level 4 with 2,594 points, a member since May 31, 2008) posted the following:

Why wouldn't a loving G-d punish evil and wickedness?

I see many people claim that G-d isn't loving because there's so much evil in the world, an they're generally the same people who say a loving G-d wouldn't send anyone to hell.

Doesn't this violate the law of non-contradiction?

Can G-d be wrong both for permitting evil and for not permitting evil?

THE BATTLE AXE:  The Body of Moses (05/11/2014)—(6.)  The Scriptures report the glorification of Moses through two separate accounts of “mountain-top” encounter:  (1) following being set apart for 40 days and nights, fasting, praying, and communing with GOD, the face of Moses shone and emitted divine glory when he returned to the camp of those with whom he had left Egypt; and (2) Moses appeared in a resurrected and glorified body when he was seen with Jesus and Elijah before the trio of witnessing apostles in the mount of transfiguration.  Moses ministered to Jesus in accordance with the prophetic works of comfort, edification, and exhortation.  This display was primarily for the benefit of Jesus, supplying added measures of faith and other spirit substance necessary to fulfill the spiritual demands of crucifixion, burial, resurrection, and ascension.  Additionally, the apostles were further prepared for their participation in the events to come, particularly, the outpouring of divine gifts by the Holy Ghost at Pentecost.  Where Moses was excluded from entering the Promised Land by virtue of disobedience, irreverence, and ungodly rage, Moses is granted entrance into the Holy City, New Jerusalem, through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus as High Priest applying the blood of the cross.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour:  for we are members one of another.  Be ye angry, and sin not:  let not the sun go down upon your wrath:  Neither give place to the devil.  Let him that stole steal no more:  but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.  Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.  And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.  Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:  And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.  (Ephesians 4:  25-32, KJV)

“FAT MAN”, here are a few points shared among Christian believers that also may be useful to those in authority to judge GOD:

(1.)  Both judgment (we say, truth-finding) by and judgment (we say, condemnation) against divinity demand acknowledgment of myriad subtleties (i.e., barely visible differences; hidden shifts in meaning and value).  This is particularly true regarding divine operations, sacred processes, motives and eternal purposes as well as the spirit matter or consecrated content of created beings and living creatures, objects, and events within life experience.

(2.)  Many lack the awareness and focus that allow exchange and personal relationship with GOD as Comforter, as Creator, as Law Giver, as Maker, as Savior.  Seeking to pursue their point(s) without correct knowledge of divine terms and procedures, they repeatedly dismiss “vital evidence,” “jump to conclusions,” overturn what might be called “due process,” and violate the rights of the accused.  Their effort to establish a truth that GOD is at fault generally collapses into a mere display of defiance, ignorance, lack of respect, and enslavement to sin.

(3.)  In Scripture, GOD plainly states that he creates “evil”.  However, GOD does not create sin and wickedness.  Evil is sudden and widespread destruction (we say, calamity, disaster, upheaval) that demonstrates the active presence, authority, and sovereignty of GOD. Just as GOD has created the earth, and mankind has created “the world”—a system of interrelated devices for communication, exchange and survival—there are many differences between the things from GOD and the things from men.

There is a lot more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  As surely as love is not the only aspect of divine action, the outcomes of judgment include more than simply destruction, pain, punishment, and the use of divine force.  There also may be such features as baptism (death of ones inborn nature, rebirth having divine DNA, so to speak), correction, forbearance, forgiveness, longsuffering, repentance, and sanctification.).  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;  And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.  (Ephesians 5:  1-2, KJV)
