Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life:  no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (see John 14:  6, King James Version (KJV).

Today, reply identifies some truths to live by from the Bible.  Where young people traditionally have  lived by the rules of “wine, women, and song” such changes as cocaine, gun violence, and opioids now appear along with “live fast, die young, and leave a good-looking corpse.”  In addition to guidance through sacred law, praises to GOD, and prophecies revealing divine intent, the holy writings include instruction and godly councils from parables, proverbs, and reports that may be applied to maintaining balance, prosperity, and stability in ones own lifestyle and daily routines.  The writer at “Yahoo! Answers” who uses the ID “2FollowHim” (Level 7 with 127,029 points, a member since January 24, 2010) posted the following:

(1.)  Numbers 23:  19, King James Version (KJV):  19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent:  hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

(2.)  Numbers 30:  2, KJV:  2 If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.

(3.)  Romans 13:  8-9, KJV:  8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another:  for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.  9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

(4.)  John 4:  23-25,  KJV:  23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth:  for the Father seeketh such to worship him.  24 God is a Spirit:  and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
