(08/09/2017) The Peace of Jerusalem

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:  they shall prosper that love thee.  (Psalms 122:  6, King James Version, KJV)

Today, reply is made on the ongoing divine covenant with Israel, and the condemnation of Israel as “anti-Christ”.  A writer at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “James 1:1” (Level 2 with 478 points, a member since November 27, 2014) posted the following:

Should Christians kiss up to Zionism?

The vast majority of Zionist Jews not only hate Jesus Christ, but oppose everything He stands for. Are the naive Christians who support this element aiding and abetting the anti-Christ? (1 John 2:18, 22, 4:3; and 2 John v. 7-11 identify "anti-Christ/anti-Christs" as any and all who deny that Jesus is the Messiah, i.e., those who deny and confess not that Messiah is---"come in the flesh.")

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.  For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;  Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;  And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:  And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.  For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.  Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;  And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;  In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:  In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.  (Ephesians 2:  14-22, King James Version, KJV)

“James 1:1”, here are some points that also must be considered:
(1.)  A curse broken by forgiveness and atonement from the cross, yet not repented of?  Matthew 27:  24-26, King James Version (KJV):  24 When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person:  see ye to it.  25 Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.  26 Then released he Barabbas unto them:  and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.

(2.)  Divine law and promise may be executed and fulfilled through a remnant (we also say, the elect, those called).  Romans 11:  2-8, KJV:  2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel saying,  3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.  4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.  5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.  6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works:  otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace:  otherwise work is no more work.  7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.  8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

2nd Kings 19:  30-31, KJV:  30 And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall yet again take root downward, and bear fruit upward.  31 For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion:  the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.

Joel 2:  31-32, KJV:  31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come.  32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered:  for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

(3.)  The process of GOD through Jesus Christ is one of multiple ministries performed by an eternal High Priest and includes works that address atonement, covenant-keeping, forgiveness, mercy, revelation, prophecy, sacrifice, rebirth, and reconciliation.  Micah 7:  18-20, KJV:  18 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.  19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.  20 Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.

John 6:  63-65, KJV:  63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing:  the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.  64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.  65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Through operations of the Spirit of GOD, those in Christ are the “new creation.”  Romans 8:  5-9, KJV:  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Colossians 3:  9-14, KJV:  9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;  10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:  11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free:  but Christ is all, and in all.  12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;  13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any:  even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.  14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

Malachi 3:  13-18, KJV:  13 Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee?  14 Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?  15 And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.  16 Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another:  and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.  17 And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.  18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
