(11/15/2018) Asking Questions in Heaven?

Today, reply is on communication within the household of faith, and among those created, saved, and sanctified in heaven. On the earth, many pose questions in ways that are not godly and transparent. On surface, questions are harmless and useful tools that call forth assistance and support for those who have unmet needs and are vulnerable. However, questions also may be used for reasons that are malicious and are not in agreement with divine law (e.g., to challenge the integrity and righteousness of others; to confront authority; to continue vainglory and self-promotion; to demoralize and implant poisonous seed within the minds of those who are developing accord; to encourage doubt, skepticism and uncertainty, or even to display defiance and foment rebellion against the Most High). A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality, who uses the ID “No Summertime” (Level 2 with 258 points, a member since June 17, 2016) posted the following:

Am I allowed to ask questions in heaven?

When I get there, can I ask many questions or do I have to keep my mouth shut and don't speak unless I'm spoken to?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. (Revelation 21: 1-5, King James Version, KJV)

No Summertime”, Christian believers today all are to acknowledge that sacred events and possibilities for what will occur in heaven may be known best through the record of divine promises, prophecies, revelation, and visions shared in sacred scripture and the holy writings. Asking that makes petition and requests for material goods and provisions or sacred substance from GOD is understood as different from asking to receive reliable information and sacred knowledge. Even so, consider the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.) Deuteronomy 4: 32-33, King James Version (KJV): 32 For ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that God created man upon the earth, and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other, whether there hath been any such thing as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it? 33 Did ever people hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as thou hast heard, and live?

(2.) 1st Samuel 2: 2-4, KJV: 2 There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God. 3 Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed. 4 The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength.

(3.) Isaiah 55: 7-12, KJV: 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. 12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

(4.) James 1: 5-6, KJV: 5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

(5.) 1st Timothy 1: 4-5, KJV: 4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do. 5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (6.) 1st Corinthians 2: 9-11, KJV: 9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
