(09/18/2018) Baptism, Rebirth, and Resurrection

Noahs Ark, a symbol of salvation and the church of Jesus Christ

Today, reply is on salvation and divine grace; acknowledging baptism in the unchanging process of GOD; and water baptism as an outward and visible display for unseen, sacred operations. Sin and wickedness are re-appearances of the confusion and disorder in place during preexistence that were removed by the divine acts of Creation. Necessarily, the works to convey deliverance and salvation display much of the same process and spirit that appeared in the beginning. The fighter in the Religion and Spirituality forum at “Yahoo! Answers” who uses the ID “GRANNY NORINE” (Level 1 with 46 points, a member since May 16, 2014) posted the following:

"God doesn't change" (Mal 3:6). Why was His first baptism (I Cor 10:1-2) one in which the children of Israel didn't get wet (Exd 13:16;22)?

Update: WHY ARE WE "GETTING WET" YET "OUR EXAMPLES" (I CORINTHIANS 10:11) DIDN'T? THE (((PRINCIPLE OF GOD))) FOR BAPTISM IS FOUND IN EXODUS AND (((NO ONE GOT WET)))! WHAT ARE WE DOING?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. (Genesis 6: 5-8, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Why Jonah Willfully Disobeyed (06/10/2018); Firstborn Of Every Creature (05/09/2018); Lessons From The Flood (01/21/2016); Ark of the Covenant? (03/17/2015); Animals Do Not Sin? (09/29/2013); GOD is Acknowledging (09/30/2013); Destroyed in Noah’s Flood? (04/28/2013); Both Born Holy? (04/29/2013)

GRANNY NORINE”, the themes of rebirth, resurrection and salvation that appear in water baptism (i.e., the death and burial of ones inborn spirit with birth of a new spirit from divine seed) should be understood as the same as those we see in the account of divine judgment appearing as Noahs flood. Part of the full revelation we are being given by GOD so that we might exist in a continuing relationship with divinity includes the demonstration and reminders that mankind has been set apart by GOD to exist separated from chaos, confusion, instability, and lawlessness. Here are some further thoughts on the elements within the plan of GOD:

The operations of divine fullness (we say, the GODhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) that reveal the character, nature, and substance of GOD are inseparable, joined, sequenced and simultaneous events that establish and maintain divine order throughout the universe. Included are Creation, decree (the proclamation of sacred law), judgment (i.e., applying sacred law to resolve conflicts; lawful settlement of disputes), and sovereign rule.

The operations of sin promote death, separation from GOD, nonexistence, and the return to conditions that were in place before the founding of heaven and earth. The divine will must be imposed upon chaos, disorder, and flux (the multiple streams of undefined, unnamed and unfocused matter). This also has been described and portrayed for mankind as the world of Noahs day; Noahs ark as a type representing the church of Jesus Christ; the deliverance of Lot from Sodom and Gomorrah; the deliverance of Israel from Egypt; and Israel walking on dry land through the waters encouraged by Moses and Joshua.

Sin has not been created by GOD or mankind, and may not be eliminated by a simple reversal of a known process. Sin has no spirit substance or power, yet, has direction, effect, and “presence”; and sin may dominate consciousness and self-will in created beings and living creatures. Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Lawgiver, and all the aspects of Creation that rely on lawful order.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, the immutable, unchanging, eternal purposes of GOD that are revealed through the holy writings include the creation of mankind to exist on the earth as a companion to divinity. Divinity has used multiple sacred tools that are not material or physical to accomplish the divine ends. Included are atonement, sacred blood, forgiveness, prophecy, sacrifice, suffering, unselfish service, and the holy writings.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
