Today, reply is on inner peace and stillness before GOD. There are multiple spirit influences and substances that are to exist within the living. The inseparable aspects of imparted spirit content from the makeup of GOD (e.g., faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wrath against sin) are to continually exchange, interact, and stream as active presence. Because the nature and process of divine spirit are primarily cooperative, reinforcing, and mutually supportive, developing believers will be free of ambiguity, conflict, doubt, spiritual confusion, and uncertainty (we say, double-mindedness; halting between two opinions; being drawn in opposite directions at the same time; embracing things that are incompatible). Acceptance, holy boldness, certainty, and conviction allow Christians to be still before GOD as do closure, fulfillment, maturity (i.e., balance, completeness, consistency, stability), resolution, and restraint. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” forum using the ID “Fly G” (Level 5 with 8,000 points, a member since August 16, 2007) posted the following in the Religion and Spirituality section:

“Fly G”, to be still is to trust; to wait calmly; to tarry displaying commanded expectation (hope), longsuffering and patience. Quiet and stillness are important aspects of the process of GOD for developing Christian believers because they allow discovery, focus, and joining at the levels of spirit, rather than the levels of flesh that include emotion, intellect, thoughts, and reflection. Divinity is an active presence that remains invisible and unseen where we are driven by appetite (e.g., hunger, thirst, sexual cravings), sensation (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching), or secular knowledge and mind. Prayer in settings that are set apart for quiet is more suitable for realizing communion (oneness without sameness) and discernment (using ones own spirit content to recognize and respond to spirit content from the makeup of GOD that exists within events, oneself, other persons, the holy writings, etc.). However, heartfelt prayer can still be heard and be answered despite one being surrounded by clamor, being in the midst of a storm, or being on a battlefield. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:
(1.) Psalms 4: 1-5, King James Version (KJV): 1 Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer. 2 O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah. 3 But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him. 4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah. 5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.
(2.) Ecclesiastes 5: 1-2, KJV: 1 Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil. 2 Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.
(3.) James 3: 13-18, KJV: 13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. 14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. 15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. 16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

Job 37: 10-14, KJV: 10 By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened. 11 Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud: 12 And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth. 13 He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy. 14 Hearken unto this, O Job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.
There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (5.) 2nd Chronicles 20: 15-18, KJV: 15 And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s. 16 To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel. 17 Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you. 18 And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the LORD, worshipping the LORD.)
