(11/19/2017) About Using "Sacred Logic"

A Depiction of GODhead

A Depiction of the GODhead

Today, reply is on using human logic and other intellectual tools to know divinity.  To know divinity is to have consciousness of things eternal, invisible, and possible for Deity, not merely the things that are seen and temporal.  Sacred truth compasses and embraces immaterial substance and features that include eternity, glory, righteousness, and spirit.  Knowing divinity and being in continuous relationship with divine persons require a higher level of emotional, mental, and spiritual operation than that we apply, and use as academic and secular knowledge.  The core and platform for complete, correct recognition and response to the active presence who we speak of as GOD are only established through operations among spirit substances that we give the name of gifts, endowments, eternal life, new creation, perfection, rebirth, redemption, resurrection, and revelation.  By the indwelling of the Holy Spirit (we also say, the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Prophecy, the Spirit of Truth) sinners are supplied to develop as Christian believers capable of commitment, discernment, and genuine spiritual growth.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Say, this god of yours: he's three, but actually only one? That defies logic. How does that work?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath:  for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner:  but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.  Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.  For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool:   but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation.  (Isaiah 51:  6-8, King James Version, KJV)

“maulporphy”, together, the many tools of “mind” relied on by created beings and living creatures are useful for describing and imposing order on carnal, material, secular, and social life experience, yet, are finite, inadequate and profane when applied to the task of knowing the Holy.  Such features as imagination, intellect, carnal reason, critical thinking, the frameworks of time and space have less value where we focus on divine order, the makeup and process of divinity, and continuing in intimate or personal relationship with the Creator who is immortal and incorruptible.

Where “logic” means rules that should be applied to establish meaning, order, quality, and value, Christian believers may speak of “sacred logic,” divine law, and the order that must appear on the basis of GOD existing as the totality of all divine spirit substance (we say, the Godhead, Father, Son and Holy Spirit) as well as appearing in human form (the Incarnation; the Son of Man, Jesus Christ).  In accordance with sacred logic, the makeup of divinity includes inseparable aspects such as faith, forbearance, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, person, presence, sovereign will, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  In measures that are scaled for their form, service, and sphere of life, spirit content from GOD may be conveyed and imparted to the living as life essence (we say, breath, spirit, Word).

Christians rely on things provided by GOD to make divinity knowable, known, accessible and approachable (we say, divine revelation).  For example, the Bible is a collection (library) of separate sacred books documenting the appearance of GOD on the earth and within the heaven using thousands of events in thousands of lives over the course of thousands of years.  Consider again the following that acknowledges the difficulty of coming into right sacred knowledge and relationship with GOD, and how spirit content must be provided to sinners for them to become believers:

(1.)  Acts 7:  51-60, King James Version (KJV):  51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost:  as your fathers did, so do ye.  52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:  53 Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.  54 When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.  55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,  56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.  57 Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,  58 And cast him out of the city, and stoned him:  and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man’s feet, whose name was Saul.  59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.  60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

(2.)  Philippians 3:  7-14, KJV:  7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.  8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord:  for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,  9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:  10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;  11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.  12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect:  but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.  13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended:  but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,  14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  Romans 8:  5-9, KJV:  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
