(06/30/2017) Salvation Goes Beyond Forgiveness

Today, reply is on why salvation requires more than forgiveness of sin.  Divine operations on multiple levels are required to continue and restore relationships of the Creator with created beings and living creatures.  In addition to betrayal, covenant-breaking, and transgression of the law, sinners deny GOD through violations of their own and divine purity as well as of sacred trust.  Finite acts that rely on human knowledge, logic, carnal reason and willpower can neither expose and permanently eliminate sin, nor reestablish love, respect, and the unselfishness essential for oneness without sameness.  With forgiveness there also must be a sacred use of blood to remove sin (we say, remission), to apply life essence (we say, breath, spirit, word), and to convey continuity, duration, eternal purpose, virtue and righteousness from the Son of GOD.  Answering the demands of divine law, fulfilling promise and prophecy, there must be atonement, propitiation, and a transfer of sin onto a disposable or “neutral” body.  Through Jesus Christ, divine operations have come into view that include both the embodiment of divinity and sin (we say, Incarnation) upon the cross; the depiction of mortality completed and sin destroyed along with resurrection, eternal life, judgment and the second death.  A fighter at “Yahoo! Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds.Did"God" say he had to die for our sins when all in reality he could have just forgivenUs?

Update:  Ever living and dies and ever living again, there is no such entity/being ever existed. If one is ever living no death could ever come near.God is eternal and ever living that flat out mean no interruption for even a period.

Update 2:  For a man is possible to forgive and for God that is not possible??? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgN6kONT...

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;  Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:  Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;  To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness:  that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.  (Romans 3:  23-26, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Forgiveness, Grace and Merit (06/22/2017); Atonement, Repentance and More (06/06/2017); Convinced/Convicted? (05/16/2017); Proclaiming A New Kingdom? (04/13/2017); Salvation Takes A Lifetime (04/06/2017); The Remission of Sin? (06/02/2016); To Foster Godly Sorrow (03/11/2016); Believing In The Cross? (03/04/2016)

“Mr”, those returning to GOD through Jesus Christ are accounted as a “new creation.”  With our Creator, an apology and promise not to disobey again are not enough:  words must be armored with deeds and divine substance.  To avoid spiritual confusion it is always important to acknowledge that such elements as grace, divine law, sin, forgiveness, atonement, and remission are not physical devices or objects that appear in ordinary transactions like purchasing food at the grocery.  For salvation, operations on multiple levels must be carried out that are exchanges and interactions of spirit substance within the makeup of GOD.  Included are faith, forbearance, holiness, hope, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

Sacred events must occur, rather than those that are simply abstract, carnal, intellectual, material, mechanical, secular and social.  Forgiveness that is important to continuing relationship where covenant agreements and law have been violated does not do the same work as confession, rebirth, repentance, sacrifice, and sanctification.  The language used to abbreviate and simplify talking about what are applications of exalted authority, eternal purposes, and expressions of sovereign will is often misapplied and misunderstood.  Consider again the following from the holy writings:

(1.)   Ezekiel 18:  20-24, King James Version (KJV):  20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son:  the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.  21 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.  22 All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him:  in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.  23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GODand not that he should return from his ways, and live?  24 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned:  in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.

(2.)  Romans 8:  5-9, KJV:  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

(3.)  2nd Corinthians 5:  17-21, KJV:  17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:  old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.  18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;  19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.  20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us:  we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.  21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  1st Peter 1:  18-23, KJV:  18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;  19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:  20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,  21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.  22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:  23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
