(12/02/2016) Power Revealed In Truth

Today, divine power, the operations of sin, the force of truth, and witchcraft are topics.  Mature Christian believers accept that their lives belong to GOD, and they are being used in revelation whereby divinity is to become knowable, known, and “visible” in the earth.  There are multiple aspects, forms, and levels of power that exist in the natural and spirit realms that all must conform to the limitations generated by the sovereign will of GOD described as sacred law.  The power to maintain and preserve order is as important as the power to change, permanently alter, and reconfigure order.  Among created beings and living creatures, the features that cause, generate, and maintain attitudes, behavior, continuity, emotion, and thought are regarded as “inner power,” and they regularly appear as expressions of finite self-will.  Included are covetousness, conscience, desire, fear, lust, need, exaggerated pride, and selfishness.  While divinity has provided a fixed, yet broad, pattern of achievements, opportunities and possibilities for life to every one, persons are diverse and vary according to development, individual differences, knowledge, traits, and spirit content.  Often those who respond to the influence that is sin unknowingly oppose the continued existence of all divine law; they deny and refuse to fulfill their own eternal purposes assigned by divinity; they disrupt and undermine divinely established order; they encourage and release malicious actors and unintended consequences that were being divinely restrained; and they threaten the elimination of all that exists including their own and the personal freedom, peace of mind, safety and security of others.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Can the Power of Christ really compel me?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  He came unto his own, and his own received him not.  But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:  Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.  (John 1:  11-14, King James Version, KJV)

“Solitary Wiccan”, you must become “moved” by truth.  The authority and power exercised by the Son of GOD are in no way the same as coercion, domination, force, hidden manipulation, political control, or violence.  For mature Christian believers, the character, nature, and substance of power are to be understood in terms of the multiple actualities and innumerable possibilities of divinity that may only be apprehended through spirit matter and unchanging truth.  Only GOD is immortal, immutable, and incorruptible (i.e., does not age, decay, rot).  The Creator is revealing the makeup, sacred operations, and eternal purposes necessary to continue duration and existence for created beings and living creatures.  Sinners are being shown that their finite consciousness and self-will may be dominated by the operations of sin:  by focusing on an image or object, and acting in accordance with desire, the living repeatedly oppose the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and all Creation.  Sin has not been created by GOD and is not “spirit” substance.  Even so, sin promotes nonexistence and the return to conditions that existed before the founding of heaven and earth.  Those who pursue luck, magic, sorcery, spells and the occult usually are seeking personal power, something that will reside within themselves to amplify and exalt their own will above that in other persons, objects, etc.  Because they disrupt divine order maintained through sacred law, the judgment of GOD has been a sentence of death against witchcraft.  Exorcism comes into view as the divine command, in-filling with sacred truth,  and practice that expels from mankind destructive, rebellious, and unclean spirits.  Consider the following that is shared in the holy writings:
(1.)  Acts 8:  5-22, King James Version (KJV):  5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.  6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.  7 For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them:  and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.  8 And there was great joy in that city.  9 But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:  10 To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.  11 And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.  12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.  13 Then Simon himself believed also:  and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.  14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:  15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:  16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them:  only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)  17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.  18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,  19 Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.  20 But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.  21 Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter:  for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.  22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.
(2.)  Acts 19:  13-20, KJV:  13 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.  14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.  15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?  16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.  17 And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.  18 And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds.  19 Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men:  and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.  20 So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.
There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  Acts 13:  6-12, KJV:  6 And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Barjesus:  7 Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God.  8 But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.  9 Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him.  10 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?  11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.  12 Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
