(02/04/2016) Correct Awe and Respect

Today, focus is  upon the new meaning for “fear” and other words used by Christian believers that become changed through rebirth and sacred knowledge.  For the disciples and followers of Jesus, all ones life experiences, goals, and priorities are altered and reconfigured in accordance with divine order described as eternal life, harvest, renewal, repentance, salvation, and sanctification.  Secular and technical language are to be put aside, and applications are to be repeatedly made that agree with, crystallize, and promote divine operations, eternal purposes, and spiritual processes.  Where a person’s conversation once centered upon anxiety, deep seated phobias, doubt, or expectations of calamity and loss, they are turned and become expressions of boldness, confidence, daring and reverence, instead.  Consider the following Scriptures, and the discussion below:

Hebrews 10:  19-23, King James Version (KJV):  19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,  20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;  21 And having an high priest over the house of God;  22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.  23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Philippians 1:  19-21, KJV:  19 For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,  20 According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.  21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

2nd Timothy 1:  7, KJV:  7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Jesus said "Fear the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell-Mathew 10:28,Luke 12:5", Do you Fear God?

If so will you continue to live in lies, idolatry, sexual immorality and self-deceiving cowardice and hatred?
Luke 12:4-5 But I say to you, my friends, Fear not those who kill the body and after this have no more that they can do.
But I will shew you whom ye shall fear: Fear him who after he has killed has authority to cast into hell; yea, I say to you, Fear *him*.

Matthew 10:28 And be not afraid of those who kill the body, but cannot kill the soul; but fear rather him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Fear of God is the begining of wisdom-Psalms 111:10, Proverbs-9:10.

Update:  Revelation 21:8 But to the fearful and unbelieving, [and sinners], and those who make themselves abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their part [is] in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone; which is the second death.

Update 2:  Revelation 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Update 3:  Revelation 9:20 - The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands nor give up worshiping demons and idols of gold and silver and bronze and stone and wood, which cannot either see or hear or walk.

Update 4:  Romans 1:16-20 (RSV) For I am not ashamed of the gospel: it is the power of God for salvation to every one who has faith, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
For in it the righteousness of God is revealed through faith for faith; as it is written, "He who through faith is righteous shall live."
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and wickedness of men who by their wickedness suppress the truth.-

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.  Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.  No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.  Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.  And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.  Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.  And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.  Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment:  because as he is, so are we in this world.  There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear:  because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.  (1st John 4:  10-18, KJV)

“Jan Zizka”, Christian believers are those who no longer build their understandings of life experience completely upon the platforms that are earthy, carnal, material, and social.  GOD, who is spirit, is acknowledged as the Creator of heaven and earth.  Therefore, definitions, meanings, and values no longer center in the secular ways of speaking and thinking.  Those born again are discovering and expressing life as a new creation by GOD.  Therefore, such familiar words as “death” (a tool for transformation of mortal beings), “hope” (what we are to expect, wait for from GOD), “love” (commitment, faithfulness) and “violence” (conflict within oneself) now pertain to being in continuous relationship with divinity.  To have “fear of the Lord” is to have a correct awareness that GOD is awesome and terrible not only because of sovereign authority, potential and power; it is also because GOD is perfect in goodness, lovingkindness, righteousness and truth.  Released from the world’s way of thinking, consider again the following:

(1.)  Jeremiah 9:  23-24, King James Version (KJV):  23 Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:  24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth:  for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.

(2.)  Jeremiah 31:  3, KJV:  31 The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love:  therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

(3.)  Jeremiah 32:  17-21, KJV:  17 Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:  18 Thou shewest lovingkindness unto thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them:  the Great, the Mighty God, the LORD of hosts, is his name,  19 Great in counsel, and mighty in work:  for thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men:  to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:  20 Which hast set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even unto this day, and in Israel, and among other men; and hast made thee a name, as at this day;  21 And hast brought forth thy people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with great terror;

There is far more to be said, understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Hosea 2:  16-20,  KJV:  16 And it shall be at that day, saith the LORD, that thou shalt call me Ishi; and shalt call me no more Baali.  17 For I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by their name.  18 And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field and with the fowls of heaven, and with the creeping things of the ground:  and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely.  19 And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies.  20 I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness:  and thou shalt know the LORD.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
