(04/26/2014) Bible and Spirit

Material and visible forms used by divinity, and incarnation are topics, today, along with more on what faith makes possible.  A “Yahoo! Answers” writer using the ID “ChristianAgapeo” (Level 1 with 111 points, a member since April 06, 2014) posted the following:

Christians, what do you believe is the relatioship bettween the Spirit and the Scripture?

I mean, I think both are important. We need the Spirit to demonstrate the power of God, and to understand the Bible . There are so many atheist in part because many people who call themselves Christians trust the Bible, but not the Spirit, and therefore their faith is most of the time powerless, and they have a powerless life (they don't even live a life that shows Christ, because they don't have the power -or the desire- to).
On the other hand, people who acknowledge the Spirit but don't root themselves on the Bible risk to go into error and extremes, and that is also too bad as a testimony and to live a victorious Christian life.

So, Bible and Spirit, be should pursue both of them, in order to have a good balance.
What do you think?

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." 2 Tim 3:16,17

"Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life" 2 Cor. 3:6

THE BATTLE AXE:  What Faith Makes Possible (04/25/2014)—(5.)  Faith, an aspect of ones makeup and full spiritual nature, is often confused with products of ones intellect such as believing and certainty.  The operations of faith accomplish what divine law could not achieve for mankind; and men are justified by faith, rather than the keeping of covenants, ordinances, statutes, and judgments.  For Christian believers, faith pertains to hope (i.e., continuing spiritual focus upon specific conditions and events generated by GOD that are to be awaited and expected because they have already been announced, proclaimed, promised and prophesied, yet, are not complete or finished).  Faith makes possible ones acceptance, awareness, comprehension, and obedience to divine commandments, precepts, and principles for action that continue and maintain relationship with divinity.  Through faith all created beings and living creatures may experience their own awareness, inward nature, and self-will as directed, enduring, permanent and unbounded.  Unending duration and permanence (we say, eternity) are not established through the frameworks of time and space, and appear only by the active presence of divinity.  Consider again Matthew 17:  14-21, Mark 10:  23-28, Romans 5:  1-2, Romans 9:  30-33, Galatians 3:  10-12 with Hebrews 11:  1-3 and 6, KJV.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?  What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:  And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,  Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?  As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.  And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.  (Romans 9:  21-26, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  GOD Inhabits Praise (01/27/2014); Face to Face Like Moses? (01/28/2014); To Live As a Sacrifice (03/08/2014); A Perfected Body (03/09/2014); All Lying Forbidden? (03/04/2014); Wrong Not to Forgive? (03/05/2014); Scriptures and Sayings? (06/09/2013); The End of Pain? (06/10/2013); Words Spoken By GOD? (06/05/2013); Teachings on Judgment (06/06/2013)

“ChristianAgapeo”, here are a few points you may find helpful:

(1.)  GOD is a spirit who has put forth all created beings and living creatures, all material substance, all the conditions and operations describing their contact, duration, and interaction as well as all the spheres wherein they may appear.  As one whose makeup is entirely of spirit matter, GOD does not exhibit or maintain form.  Thus, we say, GOD is not like a cloud, fog, mist, smoke, steam, vapor, or any thing consisting of particles.

(2.)  GOD has used many different forms to register as present (we say, reveal divinity, make the divine appear) within the awareness of created beings and living creatures.  Divine spirit is also known as utterance—we say, breath, fire, life essence, light, and word.  The appearance of GOD in flesh and temporal form as Jesus Christ (called, incarnation) was earlier depicted by the law written in stone.   The holy writings continue as a physical form, and sacred vessel to contain divine life essence.

There is a lot more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  Through baptism (death of ones inborn spirit, rebirth from divine DNA, so to speak), every born again believer receives a fresh endowment of spirit matter from the makeup of GOD.  All are to serve as incarnations of GOD, to carry out sacred operations, establish the active presence of GOD in the earth, and further accomplish all eternal purposes.  Also, along with divine love and sacred law, all believers are to contain the holy writings as a primary focus of consciousness, knowledge, motive, and principle.  Thus, inseparable (where one appears, all are present) aspects of divinity are imparted to believers that are vital to relationship as children of GOD, such as faith, holiness, longsuffering, love, forbearance, humility, joy, truth, wisdom, and wrath against sin.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to the measure of divine faith that resides in you.

And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.  (Acts 20:  32, KJV)
