(03/12/2014) Scriptures and Judging Others

The connection between divine judgment and sharing the Scriptures are considered, today, along with condemnation of ones witness as “judging others.”  A “Yahoo! Answers” writer using the ID “Crusader” (Level 1 with “undefined Points,” a member since March 06, 2014) posted the following:

If you post a Biblical verse on here why do some people think you're judging others?

I posted a Biblical verse and everyone called me judgemental when I wasn't judging anybody at all I was just letting the Bible speak for itself. "1Cor 6:9 Or don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, 6:10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit the Kingdom of God." that's all I wrote and yet somehow I'm judging people lol unbelievers will think of anything. Those are not my words those are the Bible's words.

And besides the vast majority of those people listed in there are bad people in the secular world as well

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them, The LORD shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth.  A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the LORD.  Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.  And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth:  they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.  Howl, ye shepherds, and cry; and wallow yourselves in the ashes, ye principal of the flock:  for the days of your slaughter and of your dispersions are accomplished; and ye shall fall like a pleasant vessel.  And the shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the principal of the flock to escape.  (Jeremiah 25:  30-35, KJV)

“Crusader”, here are a few points Christian believers also consider as they apply and share the Scriptures:

(1.)  The holy writings are a complete library reporting sacred events, divine operations among and through created beings and living creatures as well as a source of language and ideas for exchanging sacred truth.  In addition to commandments and counsels that serve as divine law believers find blessings, multiple covenants, curses, examples in the life and service of others, history, origins, praises, prayers, proclamations, promises, and prophecy.

(2.)  Judgment is the resolution of conflict and the settlement of dispute through the application of divine law and sacred standards.  Thus, peace is the outcome of judgment, not of war.  The Bible records many judgments (in our courts today we say, precedents).  Included are events from GOD that display evil (catastrophe, disaster, reversal, upheaval, widespread destruction), plagues (events that express divine wrath against sin), and warnings.

(3.)  GOD is a spirit who has put forth all material beings and the sphere of their existence.  Therefore, we describe GOD as having authority, intellect, and person.  GOD reveals sovereign divinity through living processes such as change, development, diversity, growth, and learning.  Even more than with Creation and Salvation, Judgment is that aspect of revelation wherein the love, the righteousness, and the wisdom of GOD are to be seen, and most completely understood.

There is a lot more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example (4.)  Judgment is eternal, continuous (occurring even now), and cannot be avoided.  When GOD passed before Moses, and proclaimed by what he was to be known and acknowledged, he identified judgment as a fundamental process and eternal purpose of all divinity.  Saying this another way, he announced himself to be a GOD who judges.  The many provisions from GOD that include the Gospel, and the imparted, indwelling Spirit, are intended to complete their judgment, and to bring believers into right relationship with GOD.)   Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;  And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them:  he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.  (Deuteronomy 7:  9-10, KJV)
