(04/12/2017) The Way To Know?

As Holy Week continues, reply is to a question on discernment and realizing the presence of divinity.  For Christian believers, sacred knowledge and knowing result only from the spirit content imparted by GOD, rather than from secular knowledge and such features of the flesh as appetite, emotion, intellect, carnal reasoning, and the senses (seeing, tasting, touching, etc.).  By operations of faith, holiness, longsuffering and other substance from the makeup of GOD, Christian believers are made certain that Jesus Christ has appeared from heaven to reveal and make Deity known on the earth.  With this in view, the response, today, is in accordance with the holy writings:  John 14:  1-7, King James Version (KJV):  1 Let not your heart be troubled:  ye believe in God, believe also in me.  2 In my Father’s house are many mansions:  if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.  3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.  4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.  5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?  6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:  no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.  7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also:  and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.  Also, Matthew 20:  27-28, KJV:  27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:  28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.  The fighter at “Yahoo! How would you know if God was standing before you?

How would you identify god and be sure it wasn't a superior being that seemed like a god, like an alien, demon, devil, or some other thing you've never even considered exists?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him:  On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him:  he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him:  But he knoweth the way that I take:  when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.  (Job 23:  8-10, King James Version, KJV)

“Anni” divine spirit must be known through faith.  Thus, it is the faith of mature Christian believers that GOD is a spirit who must be recognized and responded to as an active presence on the basis of his operating in, through, and upon living creatures, physical objects, and the various standards for meaning and value (e.g., authority, duration, ownership).  Those who gathered (on what we call “Palm Sunday”) at the Temple in Jerusalem for the Feast of Tabernacles were from every town and city of Israel.  Many already had been healed, released from unclean spirits, and otherwise profoundly touched by the ministry and miracles of Jesus Christ that even included raising the dead.  Together, their experience, sacred knowledge from the Scriptures, and operations by the Spirit of GOD allowed them to discern (i.e., use ones own spirit substance from the makeup of GOD to realize the character, nature, and origin of the spirit content residing in events, oneself, other persons, holy writings, etc.) a sacred event in the Advent (coming) of Jesus.  The Bible provides a divine point of view (so to speak) and reports the operations of GOD using thousands of events, from thousands of lives, over the course of thousands of years.  In the same way knowing the pattern ABCDEFG allows us to know that X,Y,Z are coming and 12345 says 8,9,10 are coming, believers in Christ do not gain power to read minds or foretell the future:  They have awareness of specific patterns from divinity that are made visible through the commandments of GOD, the holy writings, and the appearance of divinity using flesh and blood as Jesus of Nazareth.  When those at the Temple had examined the ministry of Jesus Christ, they became certain they should welcome him as the heir to the throne of King David, the Prophet foretold by Moses in the holy writings, and a miracle worker.  Some even welcomed him as the One sent from GOD, the divine ruler of the “everlasting kingdom” (Messiah), and an High Priest after the order of Melchisedec who would make atonement for the sin of Israel and all mankind.  Through his death on the cross that would occur before the week was completed, the ministry of Christ would  establish access for mankind to a fresh endowment of spirit content from the makeup of GOD.  Those receiving rebirth now become the offspring and heirs of GOD who are to continuously display inseparable deposits from the Father and Son such as faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, meekness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  Romans 10:  13-17, King James Version (KJV):  13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.  14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?  15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!  16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?  17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

(2.)  Romans 8:  5-9, KJV:  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  1st Peter 2:  21-25, KJV:  21 For even hereunto were ye called:  because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:  22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:  23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:  24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness:  by whose stripes ye were healed.  25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
