(04/06/2015) The Core Concepts?

Points are shared from the Bible responding to a question on the central concepts of Christianity.  During stages of our growth, and at certain times, various important ideas may seem more relevant to our daily lives than others.  It must be understood that salvation may only be described using a wide spectrum of equally meaningful and inseparable sacred concepts.  Both sorrow for, and wrath against sin should appear.  There must be communion, contrition, grace, perfection, propitiation, and sanctification.  In addition to atonement, forgiveness, Incarnation, judgment and eternal life, mature Christian believers also embrace the appearance of divinity through sacred law, rebirth, the indwelling of GOD as imparted Spirit, the Second Coming of Christ (we say, Advent) along with unselfish service as a living sacrifice through demonstration and ministry of sacred substance. Divine love is revealed through features of Deity (we say, spirit) such as compassion, discipline, duty, gratitude, forbearance, forgiveness, and longsuffering residing within humanity (we say, flesh), rather than simply through affection, emotion, fantasy, material gifts, passion, and romance.  The “Yahoo! Why are the suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus such central concepts in Christianity?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,  Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.  And this will we do, if God permit.  (Hebrews 6:  1-3, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  The God Concept? (02/13/2015); The Testing of Job? (10/06/2014); Knowing the Spirit is Inside? “cash”, here are a few points from the holy writings shared among Christian believers that bind us to GOD, who only could appear on behalf of all Creation as Jesus, the Resurrected and Glorified One:

(1.)  1st Corinthians 1:  18, KJV:  18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

(2.)  1st Corinthians 3:  11-15, KJV:  11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.  12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;  13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest:  for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.  14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.  15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss:  but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

(3.)  1st Corinthians 3:  1-3, KJV:  1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.  2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat:  for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.  3 For ye are yet carnal:  for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

(4.)  1st Corinthians 2:  5-7, KJV:  5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.  6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect:  yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:  7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

(5.)  1st Corinthians 2:  12-14, KJV:  12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.  13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.  14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God:  for they are foolishness unto him:  neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

(6.)  Colossians 2:  8-9, KJV:  8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.  9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

(7.)  Romans 8:  9, KJV:  9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually understood.  For example, (8.)  1st John 4:  3, KJV:  3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God:  and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.  Love has spoken.
