(02/16/2014) Satan Should Stand Trial?

Divine judgment against Satan is the topic, today.  Also, there is more on love.  A “Yahoo! Answers” writer using the ID “C'est la vie” (Level 2 with points, a member since August 18, 2013) posted the following:

Why don't SATAN stand trial?

I listen to people say, it's satan who made him do this and that, the devil the ruler of this world, well if he in in fact responsible then why are people tried in courtrooms why not let criminals go and summons the devil for trial.

THE BATTLE AXE:  A Valentine, 2014 (02/15/2014)—Love appears as unfathomable, and a mystery to so many of us, because love operates apart from self-will, self-discipline, and self-control. Rather than fulfillment and satisfaction that ends excitement and perplexity, love generates continuous longing that is not quenched even where there is initiating and maintaining a relationship by dating and courtship, even where there is promise and union through marriage. The longing among those who are married is as great as longing among those who are not. Thus, it is not unreasonable to understand love as a force that ends the separation we all endure as the stuff of life (the tasks of growing up; and the work of being adult, competent, and mature), yet, at the same time, an explosive emotional power that threatens to become excruciating. Where the need is for something that is broader, greater and simpler than love, the name for this might be “grace”. Consider again:  He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love (1st John 4: 8, KJV); Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm:  for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave:  the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame.  Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it:  if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned (Song of Solomon 8: 6-7, KJV); And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these (Mark 12: 30-31, KJV); And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us (1st John 3: 23-24, KJV); Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also:  knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope:  And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.  For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly (Romans 5: 1-6, KJV); Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen (Ephesians 6: 23-24, KJV).

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice:  for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.  Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.  Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people:  neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.  For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;  Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters:  I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.  Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;  Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer:  their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.  (Isaiah 56:  1-7, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  GOD is Showing You (01/14/2014); Reveal Himself To All? (12/03/2013); Is Science the Right Tool? (12/04/2013); Does Satan Know? (11/06/2013); Unguarded Chocolates? (11/07/2013); The Power of Death? (10/01/2013); Divine Love Revealed? (10/02/2013); A Partnership? (11/05/2012); To See With New Eyes (11/06/2012)

“C'est la vie”,  here are a few points to consider that are being shared with Christian believers who are preparing to acknowledge Jesus when he comes to remove his followers from the earth:

(1.)  The processes of trial in divine judgment are directed to revelation, and are not focused upon discovery, information gathering and truth-finding (as opposed to fact-finding) as we see presently in the courts of mankind.

(2.)  Revelation exposes and makes visible otherwise hidden aspects of divinity.  Divine judgment continues revelation as the most complete and thorough display of righteousness, wisdom and wrath against sin.

(3.)  The actual, indispensable focus of divine judgment is the sacred content of created beings and living creatures as shown through their deeds.  GOD permits an outworking of ones inner spirit that reveals their full makeup.  Ones actions, attitudes, behavior and conduct are all surface, and may be disguised, or covered by multiple layers that misdirect observers and witnesses.  (Similarly, in human judgment, there may be deliberate creation of delays and distractions, deceit, exaggerations, lying, perjury, and false witness.)  Through the processes of revelation there need be no accusations, challenges, and conflict.  Ones true nature appears before all the living host.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended. ( For example, (4.)  Accountability in divine judgment pertains to duty and faithfulness, rather than cause and effect; love and trust, not merely law and obedience.  More than ingenuity and self-expression, there should be commitment and zeal, humility and integrity.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.  Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.  Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.  (1st John 4:  9-11, KJV)
