(06/28/2020) The Outcomes Of Judgment

Today, reply is on the practice of judgment among Christian believers and acknowledging the already revealed outcomes of divine judgment. Forgiveness is a gift of grace, not an outcome of judgment. Final judgment by divinity results in either eternal life or the second death. Even so, the work of Creation is guided and fulfilled through judgment, and the word of GOD continually operates as a tool for assessments and valuations. Christians are to receive the resurrection life bestowed upon Jesus Christ, and are to conduct themselves as those in the final stages of divine judgment. Properly understood, the benefits and privileges of judgment include admonition, correction, guidance in decision-making, the resolution of conflict, and the settlement of disputes by applying the conditions and sanctions declared within the law. Such judgment is not a sudden, unforeseen condemnation where the meaning and value for ones accountability, authority, merit, and presence are cut off and permanently denied. It is written: 1st Corinthians 11: 31-32, King James Version (KJV): 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shown) posted the following:

God commands us to not judge others. Only God is the Judge. Christians, how will God punish you for being so judgemental towards atheists?
Updated 1 hour ago: I am a Christian.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4: 12, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Law And The Prophets (06/10/2020); Forgiveness A Sacred Practice (05/28/2020); Judge Not The Appearance (01/12/2020); The Perfection Of Divinity (09/17/2019); Atheists And The Word? (09/11/2018); Ye That Work Iniquity (09/24/2018); Scriptures and Judging Others (03/12/2014); Faith Given By GOD (03/13/2014)

Anonymous”, many of the outcomes, principals, and processes for divine judgment have already been made known to mankind and established through the revelation of Jesus Christ. While Christian believers are commanded to avoid practicing judgment against one another and those outside of the body, it remains that day-to-day fellowship and walking with Christ entails making fruitful choices, practicing discernment, responding to fixed and unchanging sacred standards, and acknowledging the final judgments against sin that have already been proclaimed and published by divinity. The tribunals of GOD are to display divine justification, and are not intended to give opportunity for those appearing to offer explanations, or justify themselves. As an aspect of eternal purpose proclaimed through the law and the prophets, judgment is not a one-time event; and judgment speaks to righteousness by the law through both its letter and its spirit. Therefore, judgment addresses transgression of divine law; also judgment examines whether operations of imparted spirit substance that have resided within created beings and living creatures have correctly resembled, reflected, and revealed the character and likeness of Jesus Christ. Without being clairvoyant or enabled to read other peoples thoughts, and without being able to foretell the future, Christians are to recognize the patterns that others willingly display that express their heartfelt convictions, and expose their likely choices (ABCDEFG, xyz is coming). Judgment of the righteous dead and those alive on the earth who belong to Christ will be completed before they are perfected in the first resurrection. The Great White Throne judgment requires that a second resurrection must occur for the wicked dead and those that were not harvested in the first resurrection. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Steve Amerson:

(1.) Isaiah 57: 15, King James Version (KJV): 15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

(2.) 2nd Timothy 3: 1-5, KJV: 1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

(3.) 2nd Corinthians 6: 14-18, KJV: 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

(4.) Malachi 3: 16-18, KJV: 16 Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. 17 And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. 18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

(06/24/2020) Divine Process and Substance

Today, reply is on life as an inseparable aspect of the full process and substance of divinity. Life has not so much been created and then placed within mankind as imparted and shared with mankind using forms such as anointing, utterance, and word. Where there is life as a divine endowment from GOD there also are such elements as balance, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. It is written: John 1: 1-5, King James Version (KJV): 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality who uses the ID “The One” (Level 4 with 2,946 points) posted the following:

Did life just happen out of chance from a chemical reaction or was life created by a diety?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. (John 1: 10-14, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: The Resurrection Of Christ (04/16/2020); Aspects Defining Human Life? (03/02/2020); Spirit Process and Substance (02/27/2020); The Impartiality of GOD (03/18/2019); The Answer Jesus Shared (10/28/2018); Time and Chance Happen... (02/27/2018); Coincidence or Answered Prayer? (11/15/2017)

The One”, as an aspect of eternal, immortal, incorruptible and invisible GOD, life is only imparted to the living, and is itself not something created. Mature Christians are encouraged to consider that multiple features in our human experience have been imparted to mankind through deposits and endowments of spirit matter from the makeup of GOD. Included are inseparable aspects of humanity that include breath, existence, life, personhood, and spirit. Chemical and mechanical process for material things are regulated through form, fixed sequences, and operations of natural law while exchange, interaction, and progressions of spirit substance are determined and directed through sacred law. Chance appears as the discrete possibilities created by the movement of finite influences and fixed objects; and chance is not an expression of divine prerogative, sacred law, covenant promise, prophecy, eternal purpose, or the sovereign will of GOD. Similarly, the operations of sin may dominate consciousness and self-will (willpower) in the living; and impulses or thrusts to sin themselves do not derive from any divine material. Just as sin does not display or proclaim the divine will, sin does not conform to human logic or carnal reason. Sin opposes the continued existence of divine order, sacred law, the universe, and all divine fullness. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Deitrick Haddon:

(1.) Isaiah 55: 6-13, King James Version (KJV): 6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. 12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. 13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

(2.) Galatians 5: 19-24, KJV: 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christs have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

(3.) Romans 8: 5-9, KJV: 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2YfMZ4_JQI.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(06/21/2020) Acknowledging And Confessing Sin

Like newborn babes require continuous contact and nourishment from their caretakers and parents, Christians should desire an ongoing relationship with divinity.

Today, reply is that mankinds need for fellowship and ongoing relationship with divinity through prayer and confession of sin is more correct and necessary than self-reflection. Many men seek to escape having to face divine judgment because the tribunals of GOD must be complete, exacting, impartial, and incontrovertible; and outcomes can not be influenced or manipulated by created beings and living creatures. Because the goals of self-evaluation and seeking to judge oneself often focus on a desired outcome of self-approval, bias, prejudice, and subjective assessments of behaviors and goals repeatedly appear that skewer and disqualify the results that emerge by carnal soul-searching. Subtlety (barely visible differences; hidden meanings and values) may be ignored and given far less weight than is appropriate. Pursuing a mature relationship with divinity (e.g., the Father; the Good Shepherd; the Judge; the Son; the Redeemer; the Savior) requires taking accountability, communicating in prayer, commitment, discernment, focus, humility, integrity, obedience, responding to guidance, and willingness to apprehend divine expressions of joy, meaning, purpose, and value. It is written: Romans 8: 14-17, King James Version (KJV): 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. The fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality who used the ID “Regwash” (Level 7 with 131,994 points) posted the following:

Might critical self reflection be just as good as confessing sins to Jesus or whatever?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. (Galatians 4: 3-6, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Multiple Relationships With GOD (06/16/2020); Chances To Determine Outcomes (06/07/2020); Knowing The True Messiah (05/31/2020); A Habitation of Spirit (04/05/2020); The Purpose Of Worship (10//10/2019); Let Us Reason Together (08/07/2019); Reasoning Together With GOD? (03/11/2019)

Regwash”, it is not only important to Christians that we acknowledge the authority, power, and sovereignty of GOD, there also must be an affirmation of his goodness, grace, mercy, and righteousness. Those who are willing to receive the guidance and instruction that all things that have existence and that have life were created and put forth by divine fullness (i.e., divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) also are challenged to understand that GOD is not an abstraction, a mechanical device, or another phenomena that occurs by chance within the natural world. To have a full and correct consciousness of divinity requires there be sacred knowledge that comes through regular contact, ongoing exchange, and meaningful interaction with GOD whose process and substance are immortal, incorruptible, invisible spirit. Self reflection is a product of such finite human tools as intellect, introspection, logic, philosophy, carnal reason, and science. The flesh is subject to the operations of sin that may dominate appetite (e.g., hunger, thirst, sexual cravings), sensation (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching), emotion/mind (e.g., anger, fear, recall), and self-will (willpower). At Creation mankind was endowed with life essence (breath; spirit; utterance; word) from the makeup of divinity. Similarly, through Jesus Christ, mankind is to receive a fresh endowment of the inseparable aspects of divinity. Included are balance, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Relationships allow affection, communication, discovery, gradual growth, learning, practice, and unselfish service. Relationships with divinity fosters and thrives by acknowledgments of error, forgiveness, sacred law, divine proclamations, promises, eternal purpose, repentance, suffering, and expressions of the sovereign will of GOD received as rebirth and the divine nature. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Steve Amerson:

(1.) Jeremiah 9: 23-24, King James Version (KJV): 23 Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: 24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.

(2.) 1st Peter 2: 1-3, KJV: 1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, 2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: 3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

(3.) Ephesians 1: 3-11, KJV: 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. 7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; 8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; 9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: 10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: 11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

(4.) Ephesians 1: 17-23, KJV: 17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

(06/17/2020) Uniting In The Struggle

A photograph showing George Floyd in an arrest confrontation with a police officer, May 25, 2020, Minneapolis, MN.

Today, I share the comment I wanted to post at FACEBOOK responding to Bishop Elect Marvin L. Winans Statement Against Racism from Perfecting Church (Detroit, MI) posted June 10, 2020, 3:18 PM. Daily, Jesus Christ taught the law and the prophets; and Jesus did not present himself as an heroic military or political figure seeking to expand his territory through conquest and guile. Even so, the Zealots and many among the multitude who had been fed and healed by Christ were preparing to force Jesus to accept a crown ripped from Herod through insurrection and overthrow. These supporters became specially dismayed by the Lord’s lack of outrage at recent tragedies forced by Rome upon the Galileans comparing it to what befell others in Jerusalem by chance (except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish). Those who yearned for Jesus as a prince and an earthly ruler misunderstood the character and nature of the peace and prosperity then being offered by divinity. Believers now must exercise discernment and vigilance to avoid making the same mistakes seen at the Saviors first appearing. The concluding paragraph of the Bishops post (following below) struck me with great power. The many broadcast news and other presentations of recent arrest confrontation deaths across the Nation repeatedly show a single, isolated, victim having no one to turn to, and nowhere to run. Surely, good counsel to black teens, young adults, and even those who are seniors at this time is GET YOU SOMEBODY! Where you see the pattern developing (ABCDEFG, xyz IS COMING). Hit the pause button; freeze the action. Call for immediate assistance before any further action takes place. The crisis is not later at the police station, or in the action that will occur within the courtroom. While yet on the street, there is a need for clear information on options and possibilities for a suspect that police repeatedly have shown they are unable to provide; there is a need for simple agreements (handshakes) and assurances to resolve conflict that police are not authorized to provide. There is a need for impartial decision-making; there is a need for respect; there is a need for trust; and there is a need for unbiased witness. It is written: Romans 13: 1-10, King James Version (KJV): 1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. 5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. 6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are Gods ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. 7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. 8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. 9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

I believe we should unite in this struggle for racial equity and justice. One such step is to become involved in the political process. Not just voting for a President, but your local government as well. The judges, prosecutors, mayor, city council. These positions have a more direct bearing on reigning in the injustices we see at the local level and work on improving your schools and communities.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: There is one alone, and there is not a second; yea, he hath neither child nor brother: yet is there no end of all his labour; neither is his eye satisfied with riches; neither saith he, For whom do I labour, and bereave my soul of good? This is also vanity, yea, it is a sore travail. Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. (Ecclesiastes 4: 8-12, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Law And The Prophets (06/10/2020); Elephant In The Room? (06/05/2020); The Nearness Of Kingdom (06/02/2020); Knowing The True Messiah (05/31/2020); Will There Be Diversity? (10/22/2017); Fulfillment of His Dream? (04/05/2017); Struggling? (05/11/2013); Through Much Tribulation (05/12/2013)

Bishop Winans”, responding to your statement on racism recently published in the FACEBOOK public forum, sound counsel within the black community these days is dont try to face challenges by the police alone, and when there are problems on the street, do not put yourself in the role of a fugitive. An important aspect of the arrest confrontation scenario has been the willingness of victims to operate while outnumbered, and as though they are unaware of the great danger they are being challenged to meet unassisted. For some, this is a matter of exaggerated pride; for some it is that they are guiltless; and for others, it is a misapplication and inaccurate understanding of the promises for civil freedom, free speech, etc. According to what has been displayed in multiple incidents, the police are not trained to “think on their feet.” Properly understood, guilt and innocence are not the primary focus of the police. (Unasked-for explanations are called “excuses” and “too much information.”) Also, the police are representations of the law, and the law will not be changed or altered during their actions on the street. (This is not the time, this is not the place.) The law embodied as the police lawfully can not be argued with, challenged, or quarreled against. (Tell it to the judge, to the legislatures, and to your elected officials.) In their confusion and humanity (that may express an animal, human or divine nature all at the same time), even after striking a victim multiple times with hands, fists or weapons, the police will operate with the idea that their victim does not feel pain until all movement and resistance are crushed. Unknowingly, they demand no complaint, moaning, groaning, cursing and swearing, or other sounds of distress; and their immediate goals for their victim become deny all escape or flight, paralysis, unconsciousness, or death.

With the goal that no one becomes injured through a police action, policies can be established that will allow both a suspect and an officer at the scene to avoid becoming a victim or an assailant by immediately notifying someone of their choice regarding their need for an intervention agent, be it family, friend, co-worker, police supervisor (e.g., desk sergeant, chief, sheriff), or an elected official (city counsel member, county executive, mayor). After exchanging information, a confrontation may be ended with a verbal pledge by the suspect to appear at the police station the next day, in night court, or some other venue. Terms of the pledge may include agreeing to be accountable as a full resident, and having to acknowledge that unwillingness to cooperate with the police implies a rejection of all privileges as a good neighbor granted by the community at large (e.g., driving, parking, trash collection). An attorney could be appointed as a one-time, emergency legal assistant to resolve the developing arrest confrontation. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Hezekiah Walker:

(1.) Proverbs 11: 14, King James Version (KJV): 14 Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.

(2.) Proverbs 12: 15, KJV: 15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.

(3.) Proverbs 20: 18, KJV: 18 Every purpose is established by counsel: and with good advice make war.

(4.) James 1: 5-8, KJV: 5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (5.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LnaHTOUigJM.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(06/16/2020) Multiple Relationships With GOD?

The image depicts the outpouring of the Holy Spirit to mankind that was received by the disciples of Jesus at Pentecost.

Today, reply is on the multiple relationships with divine fullness that are made possible through the revelation of divinity as Jesus Christ and as the imparted Spirit of GOD (we also say, the Comforter, the spirit of burning and judgment, the Spirit of Prophecy, the Spirit of Truth). Promise and prophecy are recorded in Genesis assuring mankind that their sacred content and spirit substance lost through transgression by the first pair eventually would be restored through one of their offspring. It is written: Acts 2: 1-4, King James Version (KJV): 1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality who uses the ID “E. L.” (Level 1 with 106 points) posted the following:

what is the meaning of romans 8:26-27? What is Paul teaching here?
I'm trying to learn the bible

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. (Romans 8: 5-9, KJV)

E. L.”, here are some points of understanding that mature believers are encouraged to share within the church founded by Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is an inseparable aspect of the divine fullness (we also say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Ghost) that has appeared on the earth and has been made manifest to mankind. The primary sacred knowledge, process, and revelation for mankind to be in a continuous relationship with GOD derives from divine law, life essence (breath; spirit; utterance; word) imparted from the makeup of GOD, and the appearance of divinity using human form and life process as Jesus Christ. GOD is experienced as more than an abstraction, an origin, or a source; and becomes knowable, known, approachable and accessible through ongoing exchange and interaction with the living. Thus, men are not simply material “things” created by an invisible superior being. There are multiple agreements, covenants, and consecrated operations that make possible a number of diverse personal relationships with divinity. Included are adoption, anointing, atonement, birth, death, inheritance, justification, praise, promise, prophecy, rebirth, reconciliation, redemption, resurrection from the dead, servitude, and glorification. The aspects of divine fullness all display completeness, oneness without sameness, interdependence, integrity, longsuffering, lovingkindness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. GOD exists within created beings and living creatures as active presence, and may reside within their consciousness and self-will (willpower). Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible and a selection from the music ministry of Carol Dennis:

(1.) Isaiah 55: 6-12, King James Version (KJV): 6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

(2.) Isaiah 11: 1-5, KJV: 1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: 2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; 3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: 4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. 5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

(3.) Zechariah 4: 1-6, KJV: 1 And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep. 2 And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof: 3 And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof. 4 So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord? 5 Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. 6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

(4.) Romans 8: 26-27, KJV: 26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

(06/10/2020) Law And The Prophets

The image is from a frieze depicting the Law and the Prophets with Moses, Elijah and Joshua by John Singer Sargent

Today, reply is on “the law and the prophets” as described in the Scriptures. Through Adam and his sons who served as Patriarchs, a priesthood appeared that made atonement on the earth modeled after that in the heaven. The regular use of judges who would resolve conflicts and settle disputes by applying the law, and the ongoing use of prophets for admonition, guidance, and warning both would be established as part of the perpetual covenant of Israel began through Moses. It is written: Matthew 5: 11-20, King James Version (KJV): 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. 13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. 17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality using the ID “andrew” (Level 1 with 100 points) posted the following:

how prophets are described ?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. (2nd Peter 1: 16-21, KJV)

andrew”, for many believers today, “the law” means the Torah, the Covenant of Moses, or the Ten Commandments; issues of correction, discipline, living routines, and punishment are foremost. While, “the prophets” mean the major and minor servants of GOD identified as messengers and spokespersons in the Old Testament writings. For Christian believers, “the law and the prophets” can be understood as the two earliest streams of divine revelation to mankind whereby divinity was made knowable, known, accessible, and approachable. The life essence (i.e., breath; spirit; utterance; word) imparted to Adam from the makeup of GOD included inseparable content from the divine fullness such as balance, consciousness, integrity, personhood, self-will, wisdom, and wrath against sin. The endowment of spirit from GOD is what Christians also call the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Prophecy, the Spirit of Truth. Transgression of the sacred law by the male and female pair disrupted divine order throughout the universe, for the divine law and its sanctions are immutable. Mankind became subject to imperatives within the law that require an utter destruction of sin that we speak of as the second death. Mankind presently is in a season of grace wherein, rather than interventions that display authority, dominion, and power to force and impose divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD, graphic and memorable displays of the character and nature of divinity (we say, the image of GOD) are being made that will allow mankind to resemble, reflect, and reveal the character and likeness of Jesus Christ. Those who become born-again also must grow-up again, and become mature and ripe for harvest by the Lord at his appearing. As vessels of divine DNA so to speak, the sons and daughters of GOD who are joint-heirs with Jesus are to develop through discovery, gradual growth, sacred practice, prophecy, unselfish service, study of the holy writings, and suffering. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of John Michael Talbot:

(1.) Exodus 20: 18-21, King James Version (KJV): 18 And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off. 19 And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die. 20 And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not. 21 And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was.

(2.) John 4: 23-24, KJV: 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

(3.) James 5: 9-11, KJV: 9 Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door. 10 Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience. 11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

(4.) Revelation 22: 8-10, KJV: 8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. 9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellow-servant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. 10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (5.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6E91OE5u1wA.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(06/07/2020) Chances To Determine Outcomes

Today, reply is on sin as an artifact and outcome of decision-making before action, and mercy as an artifact of accountability and guilt in judgment. It is written: Exodus 33: 18-20, King James Version (KJV): 18 And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory. 19 And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy. 20 And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information appears) posted the following:

When god offered three penalties to David, where’s the free will if punishment was inevitable? Also, where was god’s mercy?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the childrens children, unto the third and to the fourth generation. And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped. (Exodus 34: 6-8, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Grace Abounds Much More (04/02/2020); The Challenge of Covid-19 (03/22/2020); “GOD, I Thank Thee...” (03/16/2020); Mankind A Divine Instrument (02/16/2020); Eternal Judgment With Mercy (11/19/2019); Blame and Punishment Removed? (12/22/2019); The Penalty of Death? (04/26/2019)

Anonymous”, in the plan of GOD, by decision-making mankind may determine the outcomes of their own behavior before they take action; and penalties and punishment are not the primary focus for Christian thinkers. Answers shared among mature Christian believers as revelation from divinity include points of consideration you may never have heard or seen before. The following is a sample from the full system of Christian faith:

1. As created beings and living creatures put forth by divinity, the living are to operate as independent from the Maker, and as having completeness and integrity. Mankind is to display discrete and separate self-will (i.e., willpower), emotion/mind, personhood, and responsiveness to divinity. Just as there are no finite and man-made consciousness, existence, or life essence (breath; spirit; utterance; word), there is no finite and man-made “free will.”

2. David voluntarily was in a relationship with divinity that was defined and secured through divine law, eternal purpose, sacred promises, sovereign proclamations, and prophecy. As a condition of covenant, David willingly accepted judgment from divinity. GOD revealed himself to Moses as immortal, incorruptible, and invisible; yet, a God who operates through law, judgment, and inseparable aspects of divine fullness imparted from the makeup of GOD (e.g., faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, righteousness, wisdom, wrath against sin).

3. There are multiple points for exercise of self-will respecting divine law: Know the law, obey the law; err or transgress the law, repent; know the law, abide in the law where “to abide” is to incorporate the law within your lifestyle and daily routine. In the same way seeing ones own opportunities and possibilities for correct spiritual action and decision-making requires the practice of discernment, mature Christians practice discernment to acknowledge the presence, process, guidance, and gifts provided by divinity for judgment.

4. Properly understood, mercy is an artifact of judgment: Along with impartiality, mercy is provided to ensure balance and to lessen the harshness of condemnation for those who are found accountable and guilty following a complete examination of relevant truth. Forgiveness does not fulfill all the requirements for judgment and justice. Just as there can be no finding of “Not guilty!” “Case dismissed!” or “Time served!” without the formal tribunal of judgment, without judgment there is no mercy.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, from the music ministry of Steve Amerson (5.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owkc0PZWigc.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(06/05/2020) Elephant In The Room?

Today, focus is on “the elephant in the room,” the critical issues, opportunities, and problems that are ignored, neglected and suppressed as if they do not exist at a time when public outcries are being made. The failure of problem-solving efforts to respond to the elephant in the room increases stumbling blocks that include rush-to-judgment behavior, exaggerated pride, emotional imbalance, self-promotion, silence where there should be dialogue, stubbornness, and “Im right when Im wrong, because...”. Rather than evading accountability, dodging duty, and selective blindness, there must be commitment to continuing practical efforts that will build lasting solutions. Healthy change will come when the people of our country realize that, right now, there are increased possibilities for benefit and good. All must see with new eyes and truly godly vision when up against the recurring issues and ungodly problems of racism in America, police violence, the goals and outcomes for protest events, and the fruit (take-away) that should come by leadership from those in the streets as well as from elected officials. Where the honest intent of everyone involved is to improve the quality of life, and share the benefits and privileges of working and keeping our homes within the U.S., the first response to arrest confrontations and similar outrages should be in providing and recording a public statement of agreement that encourages attitudes and expressions that support the lawful and thoughtful process that must be used to achieve justice while increasing understanding. A form that peaceful protest might assume that would give voice to the community at large and allow citizens to go on record would be a kind of petition or pledge to carefully investigate and pursue full disclosure of questionable, criminal and unlawful acts by public servants. Our law does not condone condemnation and punishment before the hearing of evidence and trial: those who administer the law also must minister discipline, self-control, and restraint. Consider again John 18: 19-24, King James Version (KJV): 19 The high priest then asked Jesus of his disciples, and of his doctrine. 20 Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing. 21 Why askest thou me? ask them which heard me, what I have said unto them: behold, they know what I said. 22 And when he had thus spoken, one of the officers which stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, Answerest thou the high priest so? 23 Jesus answered him, If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil: but if well, why smitest thou me? 24 Now Annas had sent him bound unto Caiaphas the high priest.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. (Matthew 22: 35-40, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: The Meaning Of “Persecution” (02/12/2020); White People Becoming Atheists? (10/03/2019); Catholic and Protestant Bibles? (10/11/2018); Will There Be Diversity? (10/22/2017); No Less GODs Creation (12/01/2016); Diversity and Divine Purpose (08/28/2016); Can Christians Be Racists? (07/25/2016); The Provision Against Racists? (01/19/2016)

While we are yet in a season of divine grace, Christian believers are to speak up and call attention to the elephant in the room, even where “the room” may be the pulpit, the Internet, the prayer chamber, the throne room, or the consecrated Sanctuary. Where earthly challenges, difficulties, and formidable obstacles are not to be downplayed or overlooked, neither are simple and godly solutions to be despised, refused, and underestimated:

(1.) There is a need for a process that will not employ violence where public expressions of protest may be openly presented, recorded, and made accessible for public exchange and response. More than simply making statements of anger, fear, frustration, and other feelings, all will be welcome to offer useful conclusions and specific recommendations that can be further researched and serve as the beginning of action plans, goals for growth, and targets for development.

(2.) Late one night, the President of the United States of America chose to walk over to a nearby church in his home neighborhood. It could not be assumed that the President would be safe to walk within his own familiar area. There were no believers on look-out to see the presidential party approaching. No one was there charged to watch and pray or to greet the President at his coming. There was no one immediately available to serve as a crisis counselor, a comforter, a prayer partner, or an emergency spiritual adviser. Even so, those “looking for an occasion” and hiding to attack came out to condemn the President for lacking and not applying the sacred knowledge found in the Bible, and they have yet to provide an authentic standard for the use of the Scriptures by those in our Nations public offices and worship congregations.

(3.) Where Christ prayed, Father forgive them, they know not what they do, many have come forward to criticize the President (who, like a drowning man, can be seen clutching at straws). Those who acknowledge his need and that of those around him will be making efforts (in private as well as public displays) to comfort, edify, and reinforce the faith and resolve of those in the Oval Office.

(4.) There is a need for a process where, when a police officer feels that his or her actions have initiated a pattern of arrest confrontation, (ABCDEFG, we know XYZ is coming) they should be free to negotiate a handshake agreement with the suspect that will avoid escalation of conflict and disagreement. There can be an offer to share assistance by telephone contact with an attorney, police officials, a member of the city council, or even, an emergency conference call with the Mayor. Someone trusted by all must clarify for them the rights of the many involved parties, the lawful process, and their questions on what they are to do next.

(5.) An Archbishop of the Anglican Church (UK) with whom I have been sharing prayer and contemplation published the following tweet on June 2, 2020 that continues to advance subtlety and error as harmless and unintended (i.e., as therefore innocent and acceptable): @JustinWelby Jun 2 I pray that those of us who are white Christians repent of our own prejudices, and do the urgent work of becoming better allies to our brothers and sisters of colour.
9:11 AM · Jun 2, 2020·Twitter for iPhone My response was: @JustinWelby The battle is for the mind; and this is the gulf between us: There are no white Christians; there are no black Christians; there are only developing and mature Christians. Saying this another way, Ephesians 4: 4-6 (KJV): 4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, from the music ministry of John Michael and Terry Talbot (6.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4TP81Uy72Q.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
