(08/23/2020) What The Cave Comprehended

I recently heard a sermon broadcast at familyradio.org that included an account of the Cave and the Sun visiting one another so they might understand the other’s repeated references to “darkness” and “light”. As Christian believers, our anchor and focus for answering the challenging discourse and thoughts others share must always be the proclamations, promises, prophecies and unchanging purpose we receive from divinity. In that presentation, the Cave first visited the Sun and was dazzled by the presence of light that appeared to be everywhere. When the Sun made its visit to be with the Cave, the Cave led the Sun to a deep crevice to see gross darkness. However, both the Cave and the Sun saw only light. The Cave displayed isolated pits and other locations to the Sun. However, they all were filled with light. The Cave remarked that these places were filled with darkness until the coming of the Sun; and to me the point of the sermon seemed to be, life throughout Creation was filled with darkness until the coming of Jesus Christ. In reflecting on what I had heard, I realized the Cave and the Sun account is regarded by many as a classic of wisdom, yet, I remained unwilling to become entangled in fleshly truth or discourse that challenges the Bible. Beyond the cycles of darkness that present shadows and night there are multiple aspects of darkness that serve divinity. Included are gross darkness, obscure darkness, unfathomable darkness, and unspeakable darkness. Similar accounts have been found among the Sufi as well as the writings of Plato; and have been held to be an allegory, analogy, or parable distinct from a fable (that provides a lesson using animals and objects that speak). It is written: Isaiah 60: 18-20, King James Version (KJV): 18 Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise. 19 The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory. 20 Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended. Today, reply is on life as an inseparable aspect of the full process and substance of divinity. Life has not so much been created and then placed within mankind as imparted and shared with mankind using forms such as anointing, utterance, and word. Where there is life as a divine endowment from GOD there also are such elements as balance, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. It is written: John 1: 1-5, King James Version (KJV): 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. “The One”, as an aspect of eternal, immortal, incorruptible and invisible GOD, life is only imparted to the living, and is itself not something created. Mature Christians are encouraged to consider that multiple features in our human experience have been imparted to mankind through deposits and endowments of spirit matter from the makeup of GOD. Included are inseparable aspects of humanity that include breath, existence, life, personhood, and spirit. Chemical and mechanical process for material things are regulated through form, fixed sequences, and operations of natural law while exchange, interaction, and progressions of spirit substance are determined and directed through sacred law. Chance appears as the discrete possibilities created by the movement of finite influences and fixed objects; and chance is not an expression of divine prerogative, sacred law, covenant promise, prophecy, eternal purpose, or the sovereign will of GOD. Similarly, the operations of sin may dominate consciousness and self-will (willpower) in the living; and impulses or thrusts to sin themselves do not derive from any divine material. Just as sin does not display or proclaim the divine will, sin does not conform to human logic or carnal reason. Sin opposes the continued existence of divine order, sacred law, the universe, and all divine fullness. (01/28/2020) Divinity Commanded the Void

Today, reply is on preexistence; the commandment by GOD that resulted in illumination to displace the multiple forms of darkness, and institute a process for time; and some of the obstacles to human knowledge concerning mankind’s beginnings. GOD is active presence and spirit. Divine fullness is to be known and spoken of as the source of all light, yet, does not beam or radiate as a glowing, shining object. “🌟👑Stevan 👑🌟”, the major focus of mature Christian believers correctly has been on salvation and the revelation of divinity appearing in human form and using flesh as Jesus Christ, rather than the operations and process of Creation. Even so, many acknowledge the accounts found in the holy writings as complete and satisfactory guidance regarding the origins of heaven and earth, mankind, and preexistence. The active presence did not command a “who”; command was made to the void. What we now know as darkness, and the material and physical forms, objects, and points of focus that mankind relies on today were not in place. Chaos, confusion, and multiple streams of motion without direction continued until divine fullness (we also say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) gave expression to divine order through sacred law expressing dominion, consecrated prerogative, eternal purpose, judgment, and the sovereign will of GOD. Existence and order were emanated (put forth) by the accord and the oneness without sameness that characterized the active presence, the Word, and the Holy Spirit. The major obstacles to mankind having full knowledge of our beginnings result from such elements as dependence on the flesh and on finite human tools such as appetite, emotion (e.g., anger, fear, sorrow), intelligence, irreverence, exaggerated pride, lack of the fresh endowment of spirit substance imparted from the Holy as life essence (i.e., breath; spirit; word), science, secular knowledge, sensation, and the operations of sin. (04/30/2018) Possibilities Through "Active Presence"

Today, mankind’s accountability for sin, sovereign grace and divine prerogative as well as definitions for “evil” and “temptation” are topics.  In the same way the word “law” appears in the holy writings with many different meanings and uses, the word “evil” has more than a single application.  Where GOD speaks of evil as a divine creation the consequences of judgment and wrath against sin should come into understanding along with the expression of divine disfavor.  Thus, divinity being the cause of disaster, calamity, catastrophe, and upheaval are spoken of more than GOD being the origin of sin, wickedness, and wrongdoing.  The living are to behold the image of GOD, and conform themselves to operations of covenant relationships, divine law, eternal purpose, and sacred will.  Regular communication, exchange, and interaction with divinity should display such features as acceptance, gratitude, humility, obedience, respect, restraint, trust, and truth.  A fighter in the “Yahoo! “?”, a divine declaration is made to those in covenant relationship with GOD in Isaiah 45:  7, King James Version, KJV [I form the light, and create darkness:  I make peace, and create evil:  I the LORD do all these things.] that should not be taken out of its context.  This truth is to further the sacred revelation of divine fullness (we say, the GODhead; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (also called the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Prophecy, the Spirit of Truth) ).  The “evil” that is spoken of is not sin, temptation, transgression of divine law, and wickedness.  Rather, divine authority is proclaimed over possibilities for catastrophe, disaster, and upheaval; the overturning of mechanical and natural laws; and the administration of what appear to created beings and living creatures as conundrums, opposing forces, and paradoxes.

GOD is to be known as the source and origin of all that exists, and that appears as the ordered Creation and universe.  GOD is the divine ruler and sovereign over all, yet, may not be apprehended by created beings and living creatures without displaying as active presence, and through directed revelation.  Mankind is accountable to divinity on the basis of having endowments of spirit content from the makeup of GOD that establish such features as consciousness, existence, life, and self-will (willpower).  Inseparable aspects of Deity are imparted to indwell all created beings and living creatures.  Included are faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Therefore, the living are joined to divinity, and are to share the oneness and sameness that appears within the GODhead.

Divine judgment acknowledges the damage wrought to Creation by the operations of sin.  Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Lawgiver, and divine order throughout the universe.  Sin promotes return to the conditions of chaos, flux, streaming, and spiritual confusion that existed before the founding of heaven and earth as fixed platforms within the expanse.  “Temptation” that is challenge, hardship, and trial are used by GOD to complete and finish preparation of the living that is distinct from enticing and seducing men away from mature accountability, sacred duty, and covenant responsibility.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

“Breakthrough”, for Christian believers blindness is more than a condition of the flesh wherein one is unable to see correctly using their physical organs for sight (i.e., their eyes).  Blindness is a condition describing the spirit content within created beings and living creatures whereby life experience and continued existence become characterized as darkness, ignorance, and lack of complete and correct sacred knowledge.  Those labeled as “blind” are those lacking faith, humility and meekness (readiness and willingness to be taught by GOD).  By their spiritual condition, the blind are separated from those who are sanctified (we say, set apart for holy service), and are unable to distinguish or identify authentic love, prophecy, revelation, and visitation.  Jesus Christ used healing the blind to demonstrate his power over operations within the natural world and his authority to forgive sin as well as to provide correction, mercy and salvation in judgment.  Here are a few points to consider that are provided by divinity through the holy writings, and relied upon by Christian believers:

(1.)  1st John 1:  5-7, King James Version (KJV):  5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.  6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:  7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

(2.)  1st John 2:  10-11, KJV:  10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.  11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.

(3.)  Isaiah 42:  6-8, KJV:  6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;  7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.  8 I am the LORD:  that is my name:  and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

(4.)  Leviticus 5:  14-17, KJV:  14 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,  15 If a soul commit a trespass, and sin through ignorance, in the holy things of the LORD; then he shall bring for his trespass unto the LORD a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with thy estimation by shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering.  16 And he shall make amends for the harm that he hath done in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priest:  and the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and it shall be forgiven him.  17 And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the LORD; though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.

THE BATTLE AXE:  Gall Refused on the Cross? (03/20/2015)—(5.)  The death of Jesus of Nazareth by crucifixion has to be understood as both a natural (we say, human, in the flesh, physical) and sacred event (we say, divine, in the spirit, miraculous, spiritual). 

(6.)  Christians also acknowledge divine diversity revealed through various devices for managing and ending physical pain.  Included are acupuncture, amputation, cold and heat, drugs (that block and force change in regular body functions), exercise, faith, herbs (that assist and unblock regular body functions), meditation, rest, and death.

(7.)  In the same way human use of anesthesia and pain-killers in surgery and medicine is different by purpose from use of the noose, electric chair and lethal injections, the suffering of Christ upon the cross is different by sacred operations, eternal purpose, and divine substance from that of the two thieves executed at that same time and place.

(8.)  All carnal creatures upon the earth now must complete or “pass through” the condition of mortality—we say, must die, or be made immortal and incorruptible (transformed) at the Second Coming of Christ in glory.  While angels are not immortal, they are not mortal, and do not “die”.  For humans, the agony of death is experienced on multiple levels all at the same time.  For death is emotional, material, mental, physical, psychological, and spiritual.  In addition to pain there may be anger,anxiety, bereavement (loss, separation), bitterness, condemnation, despair, disgrace, doubt, fear (we say, torment), feeling betrayed, grief, humiliation (we say, shame), impotence, regret and sorrow.

(9.)  The sting (we might say, barb or hook) of death is sin.  The barb enters a person smoothly, without effort, and attaches to establish a fixed bond.  When attempts are made to reject and retract the connection to death, the hook grips and holds more tenaciously; and the more one struggles against it, the more their flesh is damaged and torn.  So to speak, the more violently the victim thrashes about and resists the pull of death, the more they lose strength, and are drained of their life’s blood.  Consider again 1st Corinthians 15:  54-56 King James Version (KJV):  54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.  55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?  56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

“Ruth”, Christian believers are to regard as “darkness” the criticisms and judgments that come from anyone other than our Savior.  Even so, here are a few points on “light” you may find useful:

(1.)  By “being in the light” many mistakenly think that believers are to perform and “show-off” in the public forum and social media (give us a sign, give us a sign!).  Celebrity, controversy, fame, notoriety, and popularity are actually their goals; and the fruits of their labors are usually division, error, schism, and spiritual confusion.  Outsiders will see only a shadow from the intimacy and spiritual power of a Christian life that is correctly personal and private.

(2.)  Many are feeling and groping about because they are blind from misapplying and misusing the light provided by the holy writings.  Their goals are to control and master the light, rather than reflect and shine forth as lights.  Such persons are spiritually dead and unproductive, for they fix their gaze, and stare into light, ever learning and never coming into the knowledge of the truth.  Light intended to allow change, choice and growth should also destroy doubt, ignorance, and lack of accountability.

(3.)  For mature Christian believers, “light” is easily understood as a set of divinely given laws, precepts, and principles that determine the duration, quality, and spirit content of created beings and living creatures along with their communication, exchange and interactions within and because of relationship to divinity. 

(4.)  There is a superabundance of light.  Covenant, law, the Gospel, and the Revelation of Jesus Christ are all spoken of as “light”.  Believers may vary in the extent of experience and the fullness of instruction they have received regarding the things of prophecy and salvation (no one knows it all, so to speak); yet, all are accountable for the measure of light they have been exposed to, now comprehend, and should practice.  All are to operate in accordance with their own knowledge of divinity, and the light will anchor their understanding to acknowledge Jesus Christ at his appearing.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  Believers use the language of “light” because light is a condition that allows directed motion.  Changes in the amount and intensity of light support our frameworks of time and space as well as our sense of opportunity and possibility.  The imparted Spirit from GOD (we say, the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Prophecy, the Spirit of Truth) is emanated as light and utterance (we say, word).)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

“Derek”, Jesus Christ is answering you to open your blind eyes.  Your focus has been darkness and death, and so you are failing to see the beauty and blessing of GOD upon those whom he justifies.  Consider the following points shared among mature Christian believers:

(1.)  Those who die as minor children (including fetuses), who may have received no formal instruction regarding the things of GOD, are nonetheless endowed with spirit content from the makeup of divinity.  Such are called the just, and they are carried into the necessary judgment of GOD supported through the dispensations of divine grace, forgiveness, and love.

(2.)  While children must be embraced as extensions of Adam, and vessels of the sin nature, death does not come against them as punishment so much as a mechanical feature within the natural order.  Children also must complete mortality (now a condition of material duration upon the earth).  Their experiences of death may describe agony, pain and suffering no different than that for adults.  However, as for adults, the basis of their judgment is not so much their own attitudes, behavior and conduct as it is their spirit content from divinity.  We all will be examined for such inseparable aspects of GOD as active presence, faith, forgiveness, holiness, humility, joy, longsuffering, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  The just will be altered and changed (we say, transformed) through operations of GOD, made immortal and incorruptible on the basis of qualities found in Jesus Christ.  What the world (society) calls “innocence” or “purity” is measured by such standards as experiencing conflict within relationships, exercising a conscience that may become flawed, acquiring worldly knowledge (and therefore, ignorance), displaying infirmity (we say, weakness), or pursuing human sexuality.  The perfection of Christ centers in a perfect peace and unity with GOD the Father and the Holy Spirit.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  In the name of Jesus be healed, and see with new eyes.

Where the holy writings speak of light, the revelation of GOD to created beings and living creatures should come into view along with the things spoken of as the gospel, the vision of the holy city, and the promises of eternal life.  Through the ongoing operations of the Holy Spirit, all death, foolishness, sin, and works of darkness are being dispelled by light.

SOME THOUGHTS ON

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned:  but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

(09/22/2014)—(4.)  Commitment, conviction, faith and trust toward GOD are responses to hearing the Gospel, because the word of GOD that a hearer receives is divine substance from the full makeup of divinity.  Seeds for the various inseparable aspects of sacred being are added to the existing spirit makeup of the hearer.  Included are forbearance, forgiveness, holiness, joy, longsuffering, love, meekness, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  While many forms of delusion are generated by exaggeration and unhealthy focus upon oneself (e.g., depression, despair, self-criticism, self-justification, self-promotion), there is no revelation from GOD to created beings and living creations that is produced by human self-awareness and self-will.  The divine process of revelation is intended as a benefit to all the living throughout the universe of GOD, and does not confuse, damage, distort, or pervert the existence of sentient beings.

(5.)  There is a prophecy in the Scriptures where GOD declares that delusion, fear and lies will be a divine tool used in judgment against idolatry, false worship, presumption, and pride (Isaiah 66:  4, KJV).  In addition, there are statements revealing divine intent, the mystery of iniquity, and events just before the coming of Jesus.  Assurances are given to the church, the Antichrist is described, and the wicked are sealed in eternal condemnation through delusion and believing lies (see 2nd Thessalonians 2:  1-15).  In other passages, delusion is described as blindness and madness, yet, is shown to be a tool for divine admonition, correction, destruction, punishment, and warning that serves to further the fulfillment of divine operations.  Consider also Deuteronomy 28:  28-29, Deuteronomy 29:  29, 2nd Kings 6:  18, Ecclesiastes 9:  3, Zechariah 12:  2-6, Luke 6:  1-11, John 9:  1-5 and 39-41, Romans 11:  24-26, Ephesians 4:  14-25 and 2nd Peter 2:  9-19, KJV.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (6.)  Christian believers understand that delusions may appear as fantasies regarding wealth and power.  It is often missed and overlooked that delusions also appear as claims of innocence and purity; avarice and covetousness; desire for grandeur; fantasies of closeness and intimacy within relationships marked by separation; presumption and unrealistic notions of personal power.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Divine law, sacred authority, sin and the GODhead are among the topics, today.  Also, there is more on the Sabbath.  A “Yahoo! Answers” writer using the ID “Brett”  (Level 1 with 180 points, a member since December 25, 2013) posted the following:

THE BATTLE AXE:  To Keep It Holy (02/23/2014)—(5.)  The Sabbath is an event that occurs within spirit, rather than an event that occurs within the framework of time.  The temporal cycles known to mankind are all marked by recurring changes of the moon and the sun (e.g., harvest, planting, days, months, years, the rainy season).  Additionally, continual observance of the Sabbath is a condition for lawful covenant, and an act of covenant-keeping.  The Sabbath is marked primarily by the spirit of worship, and is carnally recognized through light and darkness even on days with rain or snow (i.e., when the sun does not shine, and the stars do not come out).  In spite of being finite, mortal, and dependent upon frameworks of time and space, mankind is further endowed through the Sabbath to have continuous relationship with GOD who is eternal.  The keeping of Sabbath may be an act of faith or an act of obedience, yet, full participation in Sabbath is more than a simple “good work,” or a work of the flesh.  See Exodus 20:  9-11, Exodus 31:  15-17, Isaiah 56:  1-7 and Isaiah 58:  6-14, KJV.

“Brett”, where you are adult enough and strong enough to receive it, here are a few points to consider that are repeatedly overlooked and rejected by atheists, fools, and those harboring an antichrist spirit; however, Christian believers have found them very meaningful:

(1.)  Divine Law.  GOD is a spirit who has put forth all created beings and living creatures as well as their environment and sphere of existence.  Awareness, intellect, eternal purpose, and sovereign-will are inseparable aspects of full divinity.  Therefore, sacred law conveys and expresses the makeup and substance of GOD.  Included are faith, forgiveness, gratitude, holiness, humility, joy, longsuffering, love, truth, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

(2.)  Divine Sovereignty.  The authority of GOD binds (we say, gives cohesion) and maintains the universe as an emanation of divine substance.  Given that GOD is the source of all that exists, all Creation continues as an object to the Almighty, is subservient (we say, beneath GOD), and is totally dependent.  Sentient creatures (those having awareness and self-will) interact with and respond to GOD in such a way that intimate relationship to GOD is possible.  However, such intimacy depends upon peculiar operations of GOD such as atonement, baptism, birth, death, election, incarnation, judgment, rebirth, resurrection, revelation, and sanctification.

(3.)  Condemning GOD.  Among believers, it is usually pride that makes an issue of authority, rather than zeal to finish ones job quickly and smoothly (we say, well done).  It is usually hate that makes an issue of divine love, rather than appreciation and respect.  Sin opposes the continued existence of sacred law, of divinity, and of all things created.  Sin is not a divine substance, or anything that can be detected simply using things of the flesh (e.g., appetite, sensation, mental functions).  Sin may alter and dominate awareness and self-will in created beings and living creatures.  However, sin does not influence divine will.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended. ( For example, (4.)  Limits Upon GOD.  GOD does acknowledge demands  that exist as aspects of being and interaction for the full process of GODhead (we say, of his own inner being); and the Almighty actively maintains the integrity of all divine utterance (we say, out-breathing, outpouring of his holy spirit, the word of GOD).  In this sense, GOD is “allowed” to act above all because there is agreement, oneness, and unity that goes beyond, resides in, and transcends all.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
