Today, I share the comment I wanted to post at FACEBOOK responding to Bishop Elect Marvin L. Winans Statement Against Racism from Perfecting Church (Detroit, MI) posted June 10, 2020, 3:18 PM. Daily, Jesus Christ taught the law and the prophets; and Jesus did not present himself as an heroic military or political figure seeking to expand his territory through conquest and guile. Even so, the Zealots and many among the multitude who had been fed and healed by Christ were preparing to force Jesus to accept a crown ripped from Herod through insurrection and overthrow. These supporters became specially dismayed by the Lord’s lack of outrage at recent tragedies forced by Rome upon the Galileans comparing it to what befell others in Jerusalem by chance (except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish). Those who yearned for Jesus as a prince and an earthly ruler misunderstood the character and nature of the peace and prosperity then being offered by divinity. Believers now must exercise discernment and vigilance to avoid making the same mistakes seen at the Savior’s first appearing. The concluding paragraph of the Bishop’s post (following below) struck me with great power. The many broadcast news and other presentations of recent arrest confrontation deaths across the Nation repeatedly show a single, isolated, victim having no one to turn to, and nowhere to run. Surely, good counsel to black teens, young adults, and even those who are seniors at this time is GET YOU SOMEBODY! Where you see the pattern developing (ABCDEFG, xyz IS COMING). Hit the pause button; freeze the action. Call for immediate assistance before any further action takes place. The crisis is not later at the police station, or in the action that will occur within the courtroom. While yet on the street, there is a need for clear information on options and possibilities for a suspect that police repeatedly have shown they are unable to provide; there is a need for simple agreements (handshakes) and assurances to resolve conflict that police are not authorized to provide. There is a need for impartial decision-making; there is a need for respect; there is a need for trust; and there is a need for unbiased witness. It is written: Romans 13: 1-10, King James Version (KJV): 1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. I believe we should unite in this struggle for racial equity and justice. One such step is to become involved in the political process. Not just voting for a President, but your local government as well. The judges, prosecutors, mayor, city council. These positions have a more direct bearing on reigning in the injustices we see at the local level and work on improving your schools and communities.

“Bishop Winans”, responding to your statement on racism recently published in the FACEBOOK public forum, sound counsel within the black community these days is don’t try to face challenges by the police alone, and when there are problems on the street, do not put yourself in the role of a fugitive. An important aspect of the arrest confrontation scenario has been the willingness of victims to operate while outnumbered, and as though they are unaware of the great danger they are being challenged to meet unassisted. For some, this is a matter of exaggerated pride; for some it is that they are guiltless; and for others, it is a misapplication and inaccurate understanding of the promises for civil freedom, free speech, etc. According to what has been displayed in multiple incidents, the police are not trained to “think on their feet.” Properly understood, guilt and innocence are not the primary focus of the police. (Unasked-for explanations are called “excuses” and “too much information.”) Also, the police are representations of the law, and the law will not be changed or altered during their actions on the street. (This is not the time, this is not the place.) The law embodied as the police lawfully can not be argued with, challenged, or quarreled against. (Tell it to the judge, to the legislatures, and to your elected officials.) In their confusion and humanity (that may express an animal, human or divine nature all at the same time), even after striking a victim multiple times with hands, fists or weapons, the police will operate with the idea that their victim does not feel pain until all movement and resistance are crushed. Unknowingly, they demand no complaint, moaning, groaning, cursing and swearing, or other sounds of distress; and their immediate goals for their victim become deny all escape or flight, paralysis, unconsciousness, or death.

With the goal that no one becomes injured through a police action, policies can be established that will allow both a suspect and an officer at the scene to avoid becoming a victim or an assailant by immediately notifying someone of their choice regarding their need for an intervention agent, be it family, friend, co-worker, police supervisor (e.g., desk sergeant, chief, sheriff), or an elected official (city counsel member, county executive, mayor). After exchanging information, a confrontation may be ended with a verbal pledge by the suspect to appear at the police station the next day, in night court, or some other venue. Terms of the pledge may include agreeing to be accountable as a full resident, and having to acknowledge that unwillingness to cooperate with the police implies a rejection of all privileges as a good neighbor granted by the community at large (e.g., driving, parking, trash collection). An attorney could be appointed as a one-time, emergency legal assistant to resolve the developing arrest confrontation. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Hezekiah Walker:

(1.) Proverbs 11: 14, King James Version (KJV): 14 Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.

(2.) Proverbs 12: 15, KJV: 15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.

(3.) Proverbs 20: 18, KJV: 18 Every purpose is established by counsel: and with good advice make war.

(4.) James 1: 5-8, KJV: 5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Today, reply is to a developing believer who was asked to lead the women’s ministry program within a congregation where she faces challenges and testing despite that her parent is the pastor. In all things there must be gradual growth and learning. Properly understood, his daughter has spent all her life preparing—not for an opportunity to lead others—for an opportunity to follow by serving the Lord. Rather than academic credentials, professional experience, or special social skills, the fundamental requirements for those serving one another within the body of believers are that one resemble, reflect and reveal the character and likeness of Jesus Christ. Inseparable aspects of the divine fullness should be displayed including balance, commitment, decisiveness (the ability to make and hold to sound choices without showing stubbornness), faith, holiness, humility, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, perseverance, unselfishness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. It is written: Matthew 23: 11-13, King James Version (KJV): 11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. 12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted. 13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. If my dad (the pastor) thinks I am ready to lead the women's ministry...why are the other women at our church questioning my ability to lead?

My dad is the new pastor at our Fundamental Baptist Church, and he wants me to lead the women's ministry, even though I have no leadership skills whatsoever. I am only 22, and I am the youngest among the adults of our church. My dad also knows that I am not ready, and he only appointed me this role because I am his daughter, and he doesn't trust anyone else.

“Sparkles”, where we seek counsel from Jesus, it is often best first to turn to either the Scriptures or to our private prayer chamber. Many of the challenges and problems we face will be resolved by careful meditation and reflection during prayer and study. The Bible presents many excellent examples of women who also were challenged to serve; choose to portray one of them. Included are Mary the sister of Lazarus, Mary Madalene, Dorcas, and Lydia. Where others have the knowledge and skill you yourself lack, seek their advice, their service, and their support in the Lord. The following scriptures are from the epistle written by the Apostle Paul instructing Timothy to recruit and ordain officers for the early church. Rather than continue relying on evangelists, fugitives from persecution and itinerant preachers, a core of Bishops and deacons were to be ordained as part of a stable structure to carryout the tasks of ministry.

(1.) 1^st Timothy 4: 16, King James Version (KJV): 16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

(2.) 1^st Timothy 4: 6-7, KJV: 6 If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained. 7 But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.

(3.) 1^st Timothy 4: 12, KJV: 12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Today, Scriptures are shared that provide counsels from divinity for leaders and rulers among the covenant people of GOD. While followers, citizens, and those under leadership often are most influenced and swayed by the character, charisma, and passion of those in authority, the correct administration and supervision of those in covenant relationship with GOD is to go forward through the indwelling Spirit from divinity endowed through baptism and rebirth (we say, the Comforter; the Holy Ghost; the Holy Spirit; the Spirit of Prophecy; the Spirit of Truth). Sinners must be built up and edified in becoming Christ-like to display the image of GOD. Along with commitment and discernment, inseparable aspects of spirit substance from the makeup of GOD should appear at every level of organized activity and shared living. Included are faith, holiness, humility, longsuffering, lovingkindness, personhood, righteousness, and wrath against sin. Thus, the holy writings record divine law and sacred wisdom commanded for those charged to serve over families, households, schools, law enforcement, health care, and other institutions as well as for cities, empires, kingdoms, and nations. “Anonymous”, those who are called to lead and rule are to be anointed with spirit substance from the makeup of GOD that supplies them with necessary features and tools that include balance, completeness, gravity, impartiality, perspective, restraint, sobriety, wisdom, vision, and zeal. In addition to being held accountable for the completion of specific duties and tasks, leaders and rulers will direct and manage multiple projects and programs, and must serve as judges who resolve conflicts and settle disputes in accordance with policy, standard practices, and law. Consider again the following counsels using language from the Bible provided to guide leaders among the people of GOD:

1. Ecclesiastes 5: 2, King James Version (KJV): 2 Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.

4. Proverbs 16: 32, KJV: 32 He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.

(05/27/2018) When Christians Attend Funerals

Today, reply is on the duty of Christians to proclaim hope, share divine ministry, and acknowledge genuine sacred events (miracles; resurrection) when attending funerals.  Within the church, only apostles have been granted lawful authority and faith by being charged and ordained to raise the dead as representations of Jesus Christ.  Therefore, like atonement accomplished only by Christ as High Priest, raising the dead is not a benefit, duty, or privilege routinely imparted to born-again followers of Jesus Christ.  The raising of the dead is not intended to cause confusion, intimidate, strike fear among, or threaten the living.  For Christian believers the raising of the dead is a divine operation and entails sacred processes that reveal the authority, power, and eternal purposes of divine fullness.  Responding to the needs or requests of loved ones, Jesus raised multiple persons from the dead (e.g., Jairus’ daughter; the son of the Widow at Nain; Lazarus) in demonstration of his divine origin (“I am the resurrection”); none of them are alive on the earth today.  This helps us understand that the aspects for resurrection that pertain to eternal life are very different.  Followers of the Lord will not endorse accounts and explanations that continue antichrist sentiment; horror movie and fictional characters along with so-called living things created or re-animated by science (e.g., clones, Frankenstein, flesh-eating ghouls, vampires, zombies); superstition; beliefs in the occult and the supernatural; sorcery and witchcraft; or other forms that allow and generate spiritual confusion.  A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” Religion and Spirituality forum using the ID “?” (Level 4 with 3,457 points, a member since August 31, 2014) posted the following:

“?”, it is a Christian’s duty to counsel and assist those who are in mourning to practice forbearance, forgiveness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, and “the patience of the saints.”  The raising of the dead pertains to the deceased appearing alive before GOD through the harvesting of the earth by Jesus Christ (we say, Advent; his appearing; the Rapture; the Second Coming) as well as the restoration of the dead to appear in tribunals of final judgment.  Resurrection of the dead provides more than a response to human needs that are emotional, financial, and social in nature.  The primary purpose of a funeral is a public witness to the burial and internment of the physical remains (body; cadaver; corpse) of someone deceased.  With this in view, Christians are to attend funerals as acquaintances, co-workers, family, and friends who respond to the bereavement and loss of others through personal expression more than as spiritual spokespersons sent to alter the beliefs of others, to make prophetic demonstrations, or to be witnesses who authenticate and testify regarding divine operations and sacred process.  Believers may not raise the dead by the application of their own self-will, on the basis of their own emotions and feelings, or as a practice of personal power.  Christians are to establish the active presence of divinity by being those who prophecy (i.e., comfort, edify, exhort) and share testimony in divine judgment.  The believer is to display humility, glorify GOD, and avoid magnifying his own office and self-promotion.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Luke 9:  57-60, King James Version (KJV):  57 And it came to pass, that, as they went in the way, a certain man said unto him, Lord, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.  58 And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.  59 And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.  60 Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead:  but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.

(2.)  1st Corinthians 15:  12-14, KJV:  12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?  13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:  14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

(3.)  1st Corinthians 15:  50-57, KJV:  50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.  51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,  52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump:  for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.  55 O death, where is thy sting? (05/07/2018) Speaking According To Faith

Today, reply is on the state of the dead, the difference between angels and spirit content from men, and Christian ministry to children in their bereavement.  At death the spirit content that projects the character, personality, and spirit makeup within the living is removed, and separated from the flesh.  The lifeless body (we say, cadaver; corpse) may be buried or interred; while the spirit matter returns to GOD.  The tool Christian believers have been given for comforting one another during their bereavement is called “prophecy”.  How sacred truth is presented and shared with children may vary from how the same truth is shown to adults, however, there is only one faith, one Lord, one baptism, one God and Father of all.  There is no teaching from the Bible that says spirit content that leaves a human body and goes to live and interact in heaven among the angels and other sacred creatures there.  The dead praise not GOD; do not watch over and protect the living; and the dead have no carnal, mental, and social abilities (e.g., communication, talking, exchange).  The dead must be restored to life (i.e., there must be resurrection) for judgment according to divine law.  One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! “Anonymous”, non-biblical teachings on the angels often result in spiritual confusion; this is also true during times of bereavement when honest expressions of ones developing belief and faith may contain and impart errors and misunderstandings.  Expressions of our own individual affection and feelings of love can not replace, or accomplish all the sacred work required to be done within the household of faith by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the love of GOD.  Among Christian believers there also are specific sacred things that are to be shared as comfort with those who endure bereavement.  Believers are to minister to one another from what they themselves have received as deposits and endowments of spirit substance from the makeup of GOD through Jesus Christ.  Included are expectation (we say, hope), faith, gratitude, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, purpose, resilience, regeneration, and renewal of the mind.  Such consolations are effective during grief and mourning because a believer’s consciousness is centered on, and interwoven with streams of prophecy and divine revelation.

The Creator has made it that every man, woman, and child must be prepared to endure the completion of their own mortality and separation(s).  Loss of a parent, a child, a spouse, and other loved ones will be experienced throughout every aspect of the emotional, material, psychological, social, and spiritual order fitted together within ones own person.  Thus, many experience bereavement as a form of temporary insanity.  The sudden introduction of absence and imbalance should not be met by dismissing reality and truth, or relying on exaggeration, fantasy, and extremes of imagination.  Regaining balance, self-discipline, firmness, purpose, and stability are reasonable goals and practices.  Existing as “born again,” finite, and mortal, children and adults who belong to Christ are continually challenged to “grow up again” (mature/ripen) on the earth before being harvested by Jesus Christ at his appearing (we also say, the Advent, the Rapture, the Second Coming).

Where we counsel children and those who are only beginning the long journey to fullness and maturity in their bereavement we must acknowledge the existing level of their grasp and understanding; and it is not incorrect or unkind to speak to them using (1) their own language, (2) the shared language within relationship as well as (3) the new language provided from GOD intended to carry them forward in the divine will.  Often, where children mistakenly appear to be lying by adult standards, the young ones are answering with responses that correctly and sincerely express their heartfelt desire, their faith imparted from GOD, their intent, their perseverance, and their efforts to apply and focus their own self-will (willpower).

Even within the communities and families of Christians those enduring a loss may operate as though it is acceptable to use commonly held and familiar doctrine and teachings that are not found within the holy writings.  Some feel they are justified on the basis of the importance of behaving as accepting, non-judgmental, supportive, and understanding.  Others feel that children may be weaned from the devices used as short-term solutions while they are being brought gradually to the fullness of Christ.  Because there are many subtleties (barely visible differences; hidden shifts in meaning, quality, and value) involved, those who take up alternatives to Christ should be cautioned, for in effect they say, “I am right when I am wrong, because….”  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  1st Corinthians 12:  25-27, King James Version (KJV):  25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.  26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.  27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

(2.)  Matthew 18:  10, KJV:  10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

(3.)  Colossians 2:  8-12, KJV:  8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.  9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.  10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:  11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:  12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

Today, reply is made to a teen requesting guidance for further growth as a Christian.  Like others, followers of the Lord do not always get to have their own way.  There is no formula, “magic words,” or single catchword for developing believers; and, for many, insight and understanding only will come as they endure regular life challenges and hardships.  The life of a Christian does not center in enjoying oneself and pursuing various pleasures.  Every believer is called (we may say, recruited) to participate in the work of spreading the Gospel, and preparing a harvest for the Lord.  Consider again the following from the Bible and the recommendation that appears below:  Hebrews 5:  7-10, King James Version (KJV):  7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;  8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;  9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;  10 Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.  Also, 1st John 2:  15-17, KJV:  15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. How to be more Christlike ( how to be a better man)?

Hello I'm 15 and experienced a calling from the lord yesterday, I found him, I'm sure of it. I can't explain it but I was in tears, of joy. I have been raised as a Christian but up until yesterday I haven't truly found him. Im not sure I worded that properly but that's the only way I can explain in words. I want to follow the teachings of god and desire to become the best man I can. My question now is how can I become a better mam, more Christ like. I know its not that simple but what can I do in my everyday life to become a better person? I also want other advice for a young man that I should hear

“XX”, every Christian believer must undergo a process of learning and growth to become “ripe”.  Following water baptism (death of ones inborn spirit, rebirth from divine DNA, so to speak), the disciples of Jesus gradually experience changes within their character and substance.  All are being prepared and made ready to be taken from the earth at the return of Jesus Christ (called Advent, the harvest, the Rapture, and the Second Coming).  Born again, believers must “grow up again” and become mature facing the same “growing pains” and life challenges as all others alive upon the earth.  To be mature is to be balanced, complete, focused, and stable.  More than this, believers must become perfected.  Because our efforts to accomplish self-improvement are finite, and only continue our focus upon the flesh and the world (e.g., ambition, prestige, status, success), to be made perfect believers submit to operations of the Holy Spirit that are eternal.  Believers must participate in and submit to operations that are completed by divinity.  Included are confession, communion, praise, repentance, and sanctification.  The believer should engage in such actions as fellowship with more experienced believers, continuing study of the holy writings, service to GOD, and unselfish giving.  We acquire and apply sacred knowledge in our routine activity and daily living that then serves as our own inner preferences, principles and standards.  With this in view, reading the entire Bible is a goal for many believers, and the teachings from the Book of Proverbs have been very useful.  Even so, consider the following points out of the Scriptures:

(1.)  2nd Timothy 3:  16-17, King James Version (KJV):  16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:  17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

(2.)  Galatians 6:  8-10, KJV:  8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.  9 And let us not be weary in well doing:  for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.  10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

(3.)  1st Peter 4:  12-14, KJV:  12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:  13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.  14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you:  on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

Today, Scriptures are shared as counsel to a writer who was asked to relinquish a family heirloom Bible that he has purchased.  In stating the dilemma, the personal and spiritual value of the Bible was not addressed; and the new owner is uncertain how to respond to the possibility of  legitimate claims by the heirs.  Even within ones home and family circle, when the holy writings are treated as private property or something costly, precious, a relic, and untouchable, the Bible may become another idol and source of spiritual confusion.  Superstition and occult belief become attached to the Scriptures when commitment to acquire sacred knowledge is not supported by fellowship with experienced believers, observing sacraments, prayer, and careful application of study.  A “Yahoo! Should I return the old bible to the descendants?

I bought an old bible. Through genealogies and online ancestry information, I found the descendants. I contacted her and told her I can scan the genealogies pages and send to her because I think her familly members might be interested in their early ancestors. However, now she is asking for the actual bible. What should I do? I am not willing to give this bible or sell it to her. How to respond? Does she has legal right to claim this bible? “jeremy”, I heard your question as, Should I change my attitude, behavior, intent and purpose?  For you that Bible appears to be a snare:  something secular to be coveted and desired, merchandise, and another person’s inheritance.  Here are a few things that also should be weighed in the balance that are still being shared with those that desire salvation from GOD, and will undergo permanent change and transformation:

(1.)  Matthew 6:  19-21, KJV:  19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:  20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:  21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

(2.)  Luke 14:  25-27, KJV:  25 And there went great multitudes with him:  and he turned, and said unto them,  26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.  27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

(3.)  Luke 3:  7-9, KJV:  7 Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?  8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father:  for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.  9 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees:  every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Points on dreams, judgment, prophecy, and rejection are shared, today.  Where dreams are not devices used to make the character and nature of divinity known, dreams are a by-product of being alive in flesh and responding to appetite (e.g., hunger, thirst, sexual cravings), sense (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching) and emotion/mental functions (e.g., anger, fear, imagination, recall).  With GOD, the future is not foretold and shown to mankind as knowledge to benefit an individual, as instructions and messages for only one person and their family, or to announce discrete events and their outcomes.  Rather, the future is declared and proclaimed in such forms as law, prophecy and Scripture that reveal divine intent, ongoing sacred process, and eternal purpose.  A new writer at “Yahoo! Dreams about being rejected by God?

Lately I have been having so weird dreams. They all come in different ways but they all end up with me getting rejected by God. I don't go to hell or anything but I'm in this really weird purgatory and I'm trying to find God and I can hear angels singing. As soon as I get close to him I just get pushed back. It s really got me messed up.

“Lindsay”, it is usually best to avoid giving personal or intimate spiritual advice (we say, pastoral counsel) to others when we have no clear knowledge of their preparation to receive sacred fruit from the ministries of Jesus Christ.  Those who intercede and intervene for strangers also must be accountable for unforeseen and unintended outcomes within experiences, and lives they can not control.  Even so, there are many principles and seeds for correct understanding that believers may share to further release others from spiritual confusion.  Consider the following:

(1.)  The operations of GOD to reveal divinity through dreams only appear as a further presentation of prophecy—demonstrations and messages from divinity through specially prepared agents (we say, apostles, prophets, spokespersons, those sent) intended to build up (we say, edify), comfort, and exhort (we say, urge to immediate action) the entire church.

(2.)  GOD is not the author of confusion, thus, dreams, miracles and visions are not the most important features for Christian believers.  While there is diversity for the multiple gifts and messages ministered among mankind, they all agree (we say, corroborate) and support one another as expressions of a single Deity, of clearly documented eternal purposes, and of specific principles that continue doctrinal and historical unity.

(3.)  The interpretation of dreams sent by GOD certainly can be supplied by the Holy Spirit (as seen with Joseph in Genesis, or the Apostle Peter in the Book of Acts).  However, all believers are not given that specific gift.  Like sin that overwhelms human awareness and self-will, fascination with death, occult, and supernatural teachings influence mankind to oppose the holy writings.

(4.)  For many, admonition, caution, and warnings are most clearly provided through the sanctions (declaration of consequences, effects and results of disobedience including punishments) proclaimed as divine law.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and properly apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  Through Jesus Christ, believers should be able to grasp that the process of GOD has not been focused upon damnation and death.  Rather, the focus is salvation, eternal life, and love.  Christ has avoided cruelty, threats, and violence.  The Lord has gone forward using such tools as fellowship with experienced believers, forbearance, forgiveness, healing, repentance, and truth.  All are correct to be in awe, for GOD does appear.  However, anxiety, dread, and fear that signal deep human emotions are useless to establish and maintain right relationship with our Creator.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith and spiritual maturity.
