(01/22/2021) So Help Me GOD!

The United States of America continues as a unified nation through the operations of faith appearing as commitment, integrity, and promise.  The following poem, America Is An Agreement, is shared in remembrance of Reverend, Doctor Martin Luther King, Jr., to express gratitude that Americas Constitution and process of government have been elevated and reinforced through checks and balances, and for our reflection on the Inauguration of our 46th President, Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr.  Nonviolence is not to be associated with cowardice, ignorance, fear, exaggerated pride, or racial inequality so much as with discipline, duty, godliness, maturity, mercy, respect, and self-control. It is written: 2nd Corinthians 10: 3-5, King James Version (KJV): 3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

THE GOLDEN ARROW: 1st Samuel 17: 44-46, King James Version (KJV): 44 And the Philistine said to David, Come to me, and I will give thy flesh unto the fowls of the air, and to the beasts of the field. 45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. 46 This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.

AMERICA IS AN AGREEMENT

A poem for Citizen King Day, January 17, 2021

America is an agreement among people high and low

To share, to trust, to show respect, to build, to learn, to grow

To live as diverse cities, counties, territories, minds

Free people in a covenant that seals, demands, and binds

True sons of the 3-Branch Nation stand guard in the some-day State

Nonviolent demonstrators who display what makes us great

The Executive Branch the Judicial, the only active voice

The House without the Senate endorsed the Peoples choice

The Capitol shrine of freedom had no war force posted there

Its gates were open welcoming all those who would declare

This land a home of Liberty through Justice and through Law

Protected by democracy, humility, and awe

A winter chill confronts us now beneath the righteous dome

Its winter in America, yet, this is our one home

We are still to strive for honor giving life to higher vision

Manifesting our integrity expressed in shared decision

No single man or woman rules despising common cause

Or overturns the mandate because they seek applause

For blind-justice will be roused in truth and armed to press the fight

A battleground appearing in the Citadel of Light

Our process must be one to focus what we will become

And not a game of placing blame to scourge the deaf and dumb

The conduct of a President should not incite complaint

Their balance fosters equity, forbearance, and restraint

Our errors need correction, and with every vote we cast

We come near the day where all may say, “USA is free at last, at last

Thank GOD Almighty, we are free at last.

We agree to be free, at last.”

(06/17/2020) Uniting In The Struggle

A photograph showing George Floyd in an arrest confrontation with a police officer, May 25, 2020, Minneapolis, MN.

Today, I share the comment I wanted to post at FACEBOOK responding to Bishop Elect Marvin L. Winans Statement Against Racism from Perfecting Church (Detroit, MI) posted June 10, 2020, 3:18 PM. Daily, Jesus Christ taught the law and the prophets; and Jesus did not present himself as an heroic military or political figure seeking to expand his territory through conquest and guile. Even so, the Zealots and many among the multitude who had been fed and healed by Christ were preparing to force Jesus to accept a crown ripped from Herod through insurrection and overthrow. These supporters became specially dismayed by the Lord’s lack of outrage at recent tragedies forced by Rome upon the Galileans comparing it to what befell others in Jerusalem by chance (except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish). Those who yearned for Jesus as a prince and an earthly ruler misunderstood the character and nature of the peace and prosperity then being offered by divinity. Believers now must exercise discernment and vigilance to avoid making the same mistakes seen at the Saviors first appearing. The concluding paragraph of the Bishops post (following below) struck me with great power. The many broadcast news and other presentations of recent arrest confrontation deaths across the Nation repeatedly show a single, isolated, victim having no one to turn to, and nowhere to run. Surely, good counsel to black teens, young adults, and even those who are seniors at this time is GET YOU SOMEBODY! Where you see the pattern developing (ABCDEFG, xyz IS COMING). Hit the pause button; freeze the action. Call for immediate assistance before any further action takes place. The crisis is not later at the police station, or in the action that will occur within the courtroom. While yet on the street, there is a need for clear information on options and possibilities for a suspect that police repeatedly have shown they are unable to provide; there is a need for simple agreements (handshakes) and assurances to resolve conflict that police are not authorized to provide. There is a need for impartial decision-making; there is a need for respect; there is a need for trust; and there is a need for unbiased witness. It is written: Romans 13: 1-10, King James Version (KJV): 1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. 5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. 6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are Gods ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. 7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. 8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. 9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

I believe we should unite in this struggle for racial equity and justice. One such step is to become involved in the political process. Not just voting for a President, but your local government as well. The judges, prosecutors, mayor, city council. These positions have a more direct bearing on reigning in the injustices we see at the local level and work on improving your schools and communities.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: There is one alone, and there is not a second; yea, he hath neither child nor brother: yet is there no end of all his labour; neither is his eye satisfied with riches; neither saith he, For whom do I labour, and bereave my soul of good? This is also vanity, yea, it is a sore travail. Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. (Ecclesiastes 4: 8-12, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Law And The Prophets (06/10/2020); Elephant In The Room? (06/05/2020); The Nearness Of Kingdom (06/02/2020); Knowing The True Messiah (05/31/2020); Will There Be Diversity? (10/22/2017); Fulfillment of His Dream? (04/05/2017); Struggling? (05/11/2013); Through Much Tribulation (05/12/2013)

Bishop Winans”, responding to your statement on racism recently published in the FACEBOOK public forum, sound counsel within the black community these days is dont try to face challenges by the police alone, and when there are problems on the street, do not put yourself in the role of a fugitive. An important aspect of the arrest confrontation scenario has been the willingness of victims to operate while outnumbered, and as though they are unaware of the great danger they are being challenged to meet unassisted. For some, this is a matter of exaggerated pride; for some it is that they are guiltless; and for others, it is a misapplication and inaccurate understanding of the promises for civil freedom, free speech, etc. According to what has been displayed in multiple incidents, the police are not trained to “think on their feet.” Properly understood, guilt and innocence are not the primary focus of the police. (Unasked-for explanations are called “excuses” and “too much information.”) Also, the police are representations of the law, and the law will not be changed or altered during their actions on the street. (This is not the time, this is not the place.) The law embodied as the police lawfully can not be argued with, challenged, or quarreled against. (Tell it to the judge, to the legislatures, and to your elected officials.) In their confusion and humanity (that may express an animal, human or divine nature all at the same time), even after striking a victim multiple times with hands, fists or weapons, the police will operate with the idea that their victim does not feel pain until all movement and resistance are crushed. Unknowingly, they demand no complaint, moaning, groaning, cursing and swearing, or other sounds of distress; and their immediate goals for their victim become deny all escape or flight, paralysis, unconsciousness, or death.

With the goal that no one becomes injured through a police action, policies can be established that will allow both a suspect and an officer at the scene to avoid becoming a victim or an assailant by immediately notifying someone of their choice regarding their need for an intervention agent, be it family, friend, co-worker, police supervisor (e.g., desk sergeant, chief, sheriff), or an elected official (city counsel member, county executive, mayor). After exchanging information, a confrontation may be ended with a verbal pledge by the suspect to appear at the police station the next day, in night court, or some other venue. Terms of the pledge may include agreeing to be accountable as a full resident, and having to acknowledge that unwillingness to cooperate with the police implies a rejection of all privileges as a good neighbor granted by the community at large (e.g., driving, parking, trash collection). An attorney could be appointed as a one-time, emergency legal assistant to resolve the developing arrest confrontation. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Hezekiah Walker:

(1.) Proverbs 11: 14, King James Version (KJV): 14 Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.

(2.) Proverbs 12: 15, KJV: 15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.

(3.) Proverbs 20: 18, KJV: 18 Every purpose is established by counsel: and with good advice make war.

(4.) James 1: 5-8, KJV: 5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (5.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LnaHTOUigJM.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(10/17/2019) One Body, Many Members

Today, reply is on describing the church of Jesus Christ as a single body having one Spirit, yet, displaying diversity and plurality. After being cast forth from the Garden of Eden, mankind has existed as a nomad and a wanderer on the earth, seeking his own and the habitation of GOD. While looking for a holy city, and a kingdom whose builder and maker is GOD, men have acknowledged divinity by building both a tabernacle and a temple on the earth, made after the pattern of things in heaven. Through the Incarnation and ministry of Jesus Christ, human flesh was used as a vessel to embody divine law, sacred purpose, and eternal life; and now mankind is in a process of transformation wherein flesh becomes a holy temple through operations of GOD. Men are to exist as did the Son of the Highest being a living sacrifice, and a habitation of GOD. It is written: 1st Corinthians 10: 15-17, King James Version (KJV): 15 I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say. 16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? 17 For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

When Bill is filled with God the Holy Spirit and then Ed is filled with God the Holy Spirit at the same time, how many God the Holy spirits?
exist?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. (John 17: 18-23, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Understanding Oneness Without Sameness (08/27/2019); To Be Jesus Sheep (06/10/2019); Christ Is The Head (07/12/2018); Duties of a Christian? (03/13/2018); Flesh As Divine Vessels? (01/14/2018); A Matter of Conscience (04/07/2017); Frequency of The Lords Supper? (10/30/2016)

Anonymous”, divine fullness (Christians also say, the sum of all spirit essence; divinity; the Godhead) puts forth and uses finite and material things that are tangible and visible, yet, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit now exist in heaven as immortal, incorruptible, and invisible. Because GOD is spirit that does not exist using one fixed and permanent form, men ought not describe divinity using such measures s amount, how many, how much, and quantity. Spirit does not display measurable dimensions (e.g., density, height, length, thickness/thinness, weight). The church that has been created by divinity appearing on the earth using human form as Jesus Christ should be acknowledged as a collection and gathering of created beings and living creatures who are joined through their content of life essence that has been imparted from the makeup of GOD. Inseparable aspects of divinity should appear in those who repent of their sins to become children of GOD and vessels of sacred spirit. Included are faith, forbearance, holiness, hope, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. The church is to exist and function as a single body having many members who display the image of GOD and Christ-likeness through their lifestyles and daily routines. Developing believers within the church must carry out and perform various sacred and secular works while enduring “growing pains,” meeting life challenges, and rendering unselfish service to GOD. All are to become mature/ripe for harvest by the Lord at his appearing (we also say, the Advent; the Rapture; the Second Coming). The church being those who are prepared will become complete and perfected only within the divine presence. Through operations of GOD all believers now are in the ongoing process of transformation to exist as immortal life companions with divinity. Believers are being built up and edified through atonement, commitment, discovery, gradual growth, sacred practice, and suffering. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a presentation from the music ministry of John Michael Talbot:

(1.) 1st Corinthians 12: 3-11, King James Version (KJV): 3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. 4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. 12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. 14 For the body is not one member, but many.

(2.) Ephesians 4: 4-7, KJV: 4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. 7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

(3.) Romans 8: 5-9, KJV: 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended (for example, 4.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xox5ZKz2haM.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(08/27/2019) Understanding Oneness Without Sameness

Today, reply is on the independent personhood displayed by divinity, and the existence of GOD who is the sum of all spirit content. Just as GOD is to be described as immortal and invisible, his character, process and substance displays authority, dominion, oneness without sameness, and personhood. Ongoing relationship between the Creator and the created should be understood as appearing primarily through consciousness, existence, and operations of will, rather than exchange or interactions using social behavior, intellect, or events and occurrences determined through mechanical and natural law. Even so, it is written: Numbers 23: 19, King James Version (KJV): 19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile is shared) posted the following:

If Father, Son, Holy Spirit are three equal distinct persons that form the Deity of God, does that mean that each by himself is NOT God?

They’re only God when they all get together?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (John 4: 24, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: We Must Acknowledge Christ (08/08/2019); The Requirements for Relationship (06/30/2019); GODs Will Be Done? (03/27/2019); Abraham In Divine Judgment (03/10/2019); Discovering The Holy Spirit (12/23/2018); These Three Are One (10/03/2018); Having Personhood Without Gender? (12/13/2017)

Anonymous”, being spirit, divinity has existence without form. Your reply requires sacred knowledge, and uses concepts and language that has allowed many mature Christians to avoid spiritual confusion when speaking of “divine fullness” (we also say, active presence; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit; the summation of all spirit matter). Once we acknowledge that the makeup and substance of divinity is spirit in its character, form, and process, we also should grasp that spirit does not display the measurable dimensions (e.g., depth, breadth, height, length, weight) associated with carnal and material things. Spirit may operate within the frameworks of time and space; spirit may put forth concrete and tangible matter; and spirit may exist within the consciousness of created beings and living creatures. The inseparable aspects of divine fullness include balance, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, righteousness; wisdom, and wrath against sin. Faith is made only of faith; holiness consists only of holiness; righteousness is only of righteousness.

Independence, influence, and integrity of being exists for all the appearances and manifestations of divine personhood. GOD can not be altered, changed, manipulated, or reconfigured by whatever has origin, existence and life from the expression of divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and sovereign will. Divinity has used visible forms to communicate with the living (e.g., the burning bush; the rainbow about his shoulders; and the form of human flesh, we say, the Incarnation, appearing on the earth as Jesus Christ). The divine actuality transcends being in accord, having agreement, or unity of doctrine and purpose that are all language describing human social behavior. Developing and mature Christians are encouraged to realize that spirit exists as both concentrated and diffuse at the same time; and divinity continues as immortal displaying oneness without sameness. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Genesis 18: 1-6, King James Version (KJV): 1 And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; 2 And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground, 3 And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant: 4 Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree: 5 And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said. 6 And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth.

2. John 8: 57-59, KJV: 57 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? 58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. 59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 3. Romans 12: 4-5, KJV: 4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: 5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(01/16/2019) A Wall To Sanctify?

THE GOLDEN GATE OF JERUSALEM (see reference cited below)

Today, reply is on the morality of America using barriers and walls at its Southern border to discourage immigration and to keep out criminals, refugees, the poor, and the homeless. In the light of devastating hurricane and wildfire events around the country, that the Chief Executive Officer for the United States of America would institute a policy of shutting down the government to ensure border security and control immigration has more the appearance of criminal fraud, incompetence, and the violation of trust more than the appearance of sound management. All are being reminded that, in the modern world, there are those who believe government is to control its elected officers, legislators, and the electorate by using every available tool that may manipulate their emotional, material, mental, and spiritual person. Included are propaganda and devices that impose brutality, conflict, cruelty, disappointments, fear, indebtedness, violence, and problems that have no clear solutions. Christians are warned not to indulge judging others and pronouncing damnation, consequently, many Christians feel that all conflict, division, fighting, and quarrels are a bad thing, and should be avoided or concluded as quickly as possible. Even so, mankind also must acknowledge accountability for their own attitudes, behavior and conduct while they live, and for the conditions in the earth as their sphere of life. For Christian believers, questions of moral content for events, operations, and human process should be answered applying discernment of the character, makeup, and spiritual substance that is displayed from the divine fullness (i.e., divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit). Believers are to receive and pass on inseparable aspects of life essence from divinity that include faith, farsightedness, forbearance, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. There are multiple unmet needs and a broad range of motives among those seeking shelter within the Nation; and just as it may not be assumed that every denial of requests by those from other cultures and peoples are expressions of bias, ethnic arrogance, discrimination, hate, prejudice, racism or stubbornness, neither should it be assumed that there is unlawful damnation, wrongful judgment, a hardness of heart, and indifference toward the humanity of others. A writer in the “Yahoo! Answers” Religion and Spirituality Internet public forum who uses the ID “Christian sinner” (Level 7 with 217,275 points, a member since November 28, 2006) posted the following:

There are walls around Jerusalem, there are walls around the Jewish temples and the Christian churches. Are they immoral?

Update: A wall, in my view, is an immorality. It’s the least effective way to protect the border and the most costly. I can’t think of any reason why anyone would think it’s a good idea — unless this has something to do with something else,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said shortly before the government shutdown.
https://thehill.com/opinion/immigration/...

THE GOLDEN ARROW: I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand. Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof. And, behold, the angel that talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him, And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein: For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her. (Zechariah 2: 1-5, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: On Diversity and Equality (05/22/2018); Bible Borders and Walls (08/29/2017); Righteousness Exalts A Nation (07/04/2017); Installing The New President (01/20/2017); Can Christians Be Racists? (07/25/2016); Cultural, Political, Spiritual Growth? (07/10/2016); Religion And Moral Progress? (10/23/2015); Because We Are Certain (12/30/2014)

Christian sinner”, politics have a process and structure different than that for communities of faith, corporations, or government agencies, and therefore may be seen as an overlay, and even, a parasite that seeks to maintain its own life by controlling the distribution of resources belonging to a lawful sovereign body (we say, nation; state). While there has been talk of crisis and emergencies emerging from border security issues, the sacrifice of American government workers we are now witnessing is not in compliance with constitutional principles, standard operations, existing programs, or the projections that now serve as the blueprint and “vision” for the Nations future.

Many developing Christian believers look to the holy writings for commentary and guidance regarding a wall to separate America from her neighbor, because it strikes them that it opposes the will of GOD to use devices that divide and separate kindreds, tongues, peoples, and nations, at a time when his eternal purpose revealed through Jesus Christ is to transform mankind to exist as immortal, incorruptible companions of divinity. The living are to be restored through repentance and rebirth, joined together through workings of imparted, indwelling spirit, and unselfishly serve as vessels of sacred spirit substance who are offspring of GOD and a new creation.

From ancient times, landmarks, natural features (e.g., forests, lakes, rivers), walls, and other structures were used as barriers against enemy invasions, and boundaries to specify the property and territory within their dominion and jurisdiction. An example of this is seen with the city of Jericho. For Jerusalem and the regions within Canaan that were visited by Abraham, the Friend of GOD, covenant promises, divinely provided law, inheritance, priestly relationship, prophecy, and a lifestyle that included worship of a living GOD who continued among them (within the Tabernacle/the Temple), divinity would be as a wall of fire by day and a pillar of cloud by night sanctifying (we say, setting apart) the tribes of Jacob as a “peculiar people” for service to divine fullness, and to be those who would occupy the land. Similarly, the followers of Jesus as High Priest and Messiah are to be recognizable through their lifestyle and day to day routines that include discovery, gradual growth, praise, prayer, renewing ones mind, rest, unselfish service, and worship. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Ephesians 1: 9-14, King James Version (KJV): 9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: 10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: 11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: 12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

2. Ephesians 4: 4-7, KJV: 4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. 7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

3. Ephesians 4: 11-16, KJV: 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. Romans 8: 5-9, KJV: 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(11/08/2018) A Possible "Home Remedy?"

Today, reply is to a teen on family prayer and shared Bible study as a remedy to conflict and division within the home. Because the goal is to establish family unity, a full reading aloud of as few as 12 books may be taken up and treasured as a familys own sacred inheritance from divinity, and their own special anchor and grounding from GOD. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality, who uses the ID “Nicholas” (Level 1 with 41 points, a member since June 24, 2017) posted the following:

Am I crazy?

Ill try to make this quick. Im 19. Ive been a baptist for 4yr now. My Catholic parents dont allow me to go to the church i want and say under there roof i need to go to a catholic church. I finally decided to leave. I have 500.00 and no car. I dont have a job either. Am i crazy to leave home cause of religion? Am i in the right or are my parents? Im thinking of trying to get into job corps. Any advice on what i should do?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican. Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. (Matthew 18: 15-20, King James Version, KJV)

Nicholas”, put your thoughts about leaving your parents aside until you have considered these points that have been helpful among mature Christian believers whose household needed a “home remedy” that would supply divine healing:

1. Sinners must be “born again,” become “developing believers,” and “grow up again” (i.e., there must be rebirth of a persons inner character and makeup; they must receive a fresh endowment of life essence (breath; spirit; word) from the makeup of GOD). Water baptism depicts the sacred operations wherein the inborn spirit is slain, buried, and raised from the dead, so to speak.

2. Inseparable aspects of divinity are imparted to indwell and gradually increase within the believer. Included are faith, forbearance, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

3. The followers of Jesus Christ are all admonished: In the same way religious customs and traditions have been mistakenly respected as though they were sacred law, young people often confuse conscience, independence, integrity of personhood, and self-will; while parents and other caretakers often confuse self-control and holding to personal regimen with discharging sacred authority and the ministry of divine will.

4. Within the home a primary, yet, often unmet need is for shared experiences of discovery, fellowship, learning, and service. Through cooperative communication and exchanges such as family prayer and Bible study, spiritual maturity can be nourished, and will become visible through such elements as accord, adult accountability, balance, completeness, consistency, sobriety, and stability.

5. Where those within the shared household can come together and agree that (1.) no one present is an enemy, (2.) there is a clear need for something that may provide spiritual benefit to everyone present, and that (3.) it is not likely to harm anyone to participate in a family reading of a minimum of 12 books from the Bible, take turns reading aloud and let the reader share their thoughts and feelings. The declaration from the Apostle Paul may help to get things started: I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. (1st Timothy 2: 1-6, King James Version, KJV)

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 6. Romans 8: 5-9, KJV: 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(10/11/2018) Catholic and Protestant Bibles?

The List of Bible Books Also Showing “the Apocrypha”

Today, reply is on the differences among Catholic and Protestant Bibles. Developing believers are wise to embrace the holy writings as sources and tools to nourish spirit content from the makeup of GOD, provide divine guidance, and further supply sacred knowledge. Even so, the permanent change and transformation of the believer is through operations of the Holy Spirit (also called, the Comforter; the Holy Ghost; the Spirit of Prophecy; the Spirit of Truth). All those on the earth who will be acknowledged by Jesus Christ as his harvest at his coming will not be labeled Catholics, Jews, or Protestants, yet, all will be children of the Father and joint-heirs with Christ. Acknowledging the truth that all have sinned and come short of the glory of GOD, it is correct to consider that (1) there are only two kinds of people in the world, impenitent and penitent sinners; (2) there are no black Christians, there are no white Christians, there are only “Christian” Christians; (3) there will be no denominations of believers, only those who are perfected through GOD; and (4) the elements that now contribute to disunion (e.g., arrogance; ethnicity; exaggerated pride; racism; regionalism; relying on earthly languages and tongues such as Greek, Hebrew, or Latin) will not exist within the perfected church of Jesus Christ. The fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” Religion and Spirituality public forum who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

Do catholic and protestant bibles have a significant difference in their bibles?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. (John 6: 63, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Christ Is The Head (07/12/2018); Knowing What To Believe? (12/31/2017); The Apocryphal Books? (08/07/2015); Those Who Read? (02/17/2015); Catholics, Protestants and The Trinity? Anonymous”, among the followers of Jesus Christ, many hold that authentic Christian belief and practice appear only by believers becoming “born again” and receiving fresh endowments of spirit substance from the makeup of GOD (e.g., faith, gratitude, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, wrath against sin), rather than by church attendance, doctrine, policy, sacrifice, and service. The differences among the Bibles shared by Catholic and Protestant believers result from significant differences in their discernment and acknowledgment of oneness without sameness among sacred texts; their apprehension of covenant relationships and sacred law; their historical development as institutions and social organizations that express carnal, material and political views; their reliance on sacred knowledge rather than academic, scholastic, and secular knowledge as well as the differences among what they acknowledge as their continuing divine commission, their eternal purpose and work in the things yet to be fulfilled, and the nearness of the Advent of Jesus Christ (we also say, his appearing; the harvest; the Rapture; the Second Coming). Correctly understood, the Bible is a collection of holy writings (we say, a library of sacred books) that share a divine “point of view” with finite created beings and living creatures, and has been provided by GOD using thousands of events occurring within the lives of thousands of people over the course of thousands of years. Inseparable aspects of the divine fullness (we say, the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) will be conveyed to every believer as rebirth (life essence, breath, spirit, word). However, the instantaneous and sudden process of GOD is gradual and progressive in such a way that divinity is not to be understood as being “everywhere” “all the time” responding to the specific needs of believers, for believers will go “up and down” Jacobs ladder, so to speak, and believers will exist having different levels of insight, maturity, and strength. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.) Ephesians 4: 4-7, King James Version (KJV): 4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. 7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

(2.) Romans 6: 3-6, KJV: 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

(3.) Ephesians 4: 11-16, KJV: 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

(09/30/2018) Believers Must Receive Gifts

Today, reply is on the provisions of GOD for new life within the body of Christ, and for serving as the spokesperson of Christ. Because the church is to apprehend the reality of GOD through Spirit, such elements as acceptance, faith, grace, divine process, promises, and trust are primary more than intellect, logic, and carnal reason. The apostle Paul shares this sensitive point in the following: 2nd Corinthians 12: 7-10, King James Version (KJV): 7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. 8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christs sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. All in the church will not be prophets; and every illness and sickness in the church will not be removed immediately, before the Advent of Christ. Yet, where one member has received a revelation or vision, it is accounted present for all. Where one has received healing, the presence of healing is accounted present for all. Where one has the ability to prophesy, prophecy is accounted present for all. The fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” Religion and Spirituality forum who uses the ID “GRANNY NORINE” (Level 1 with 13 points, a member since May 16, 2014) posted the following:

Is it true that you have to have a "Spiritual gift" to be a Christian (I Corinthians 12:7-10; 13)?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. GRANNY NORINE”, all Christians must receive and make use of various spiritual gifts imparted from divinity by the Holy Spirit. Developing and mature believers are called to exist in a new relationship with divinity, with one another, and with the world at large as the offspring of GOD through spiritual rebirth, and as those on earth who serve as apostles, priests, prophets, and kings within the kingdom of GOD. In the same way, every believer does not receive the same education, skills, and talents, all do not receive the same anointing, gifts, testimonies, and witness. Yet, because they are present through others within the full bodyincluding those recorded within Scripturethe believer may correctly say, I now have them also. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.) 1st Corinthians 12: 3-7, King James Version (KJV): 3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. 4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

(2.) 1st Corinthians 12: 13-21, KJV: 13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. 14 For the body is not one member, but many. 15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? 16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? 17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling? 18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. 19 And if they were all one member, where were the body? 20 But now are they many members, yet but one body. 21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.

(3.) Romans 15: 1-7, KJV: 1 We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. 2 Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification. 3 For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me. 4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. 5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: 6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. 7 Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) Romans 8: 5-9, KJV: 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
