Law and divine order are to be understood as aspects of the process for creating existence, life, the heaven, and the earth. Grace, judgment, impartiality, mercy, and righteousness are displayed in the process for making known and revealing the character and nature of GOD. Forgiveness, redemption, and salvation are divine responses to the profound human predicament that results by mankind having discrete and separate existence from that of the Creator appearing as integrity through self-will. Sin is not a creation from GOD, and should not be regarded as a finite human problem that involves no more than the confession of wrong-doing and a sinner promising to change. Sin will not be eliminated or removed by sinners expressing emotion, refusing pleasures of the flesh, or altering human responses to sensation. Multiple operations of divinity are required such as atonement; the death, burial, and rebirth of the sinner’s inborn spirit; modeling authentic humanity using of mankind’s form and life-process (we say, Incarnation); and imparting a fresh endowment of sacred content from GOD (e.g., faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, personhood, oneness without sameness, wisdom, wrath against sin). It is written: Romans 7: 7-14, King James Version (KJV): 7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. 8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead. 9 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. 10 And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death. 11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me. 12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. 13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? “cool”, the profound challenges and consequences generated by sin are harsh, and sin must be made visible to Creation as corruption (we also say, decay, rotting). Sin is not a man-made problem, and can not be eliminated using finite human ability. All sin opposes the continued existence of sacred law, the continued existence of the Lawgiver, and the continued existence for the spheres of life established to support the living (i.e., heaven and earth; what we know as the universe). Sin has not been created or put forth by divinity, yet, the working of sin may dominate consciousness and self-will (willpower) within created beings and living creatures. Sin promotes non-existence and a return to the conditions that were in place before Creation (e.g., chaos, lack of fixed form, and movement without direction). The mercy, righteousness, and wrath of GOD against sin are displayed through both divine judgment that is impartial, and through divine grace that expresses forbearance, forgiveness, love, repentance and sorrow for win within sinners, and reconciliation. Mankind was to be a companion to divinity who is immortal, incorruptible and invisible. Even so, the life essence (breath; spirit; divine utterance; word) that was imparted from the makeup of GOD to mankind has become altered by transgression, and now appears as mortality and death working upon the earth. The mercy of GOD is poured out as the blood and life of Jesus Christ that has provided atonement, opportunities, and possibilities for mankind that otherwise can not exist. Man now may become “the new creation” and may live on the earth eternally once perfected by GOD. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.) Matthew 22: 29, King James Version (KJV): 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

(2.) Ecclesiastes 9: 18, KJV: 18 Wisdom is better than weapons of war: but one sinner destroyeth much good.

Galatians 5: 19-25, KJV: 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Every inheritance entails more than a transfer of goods and wealth. Accountability, acknowledgment, duty, renewal, and respect also should appear.

Today, reply is on mankind’s inheritance from the living GOD, and the duty of those abiding on the earth to perform divine service as chosen agents on behalf of the deceased. In addition to blessing, glory and revelation the inheritance from divinity to those on the earth includes covenant relationships, divine law, praise, prayer, promises, prophecy, rebirth, resurrection life through Jesus Christ, sacred events (miracles), sacraments (practices to sanctify believers), and the holy writings. Mankind is correct to confess and proclaim an inheritance from GOD as the heirs of Adam and the Patriarchs. Yet, many respond as did Jacob the son of Isaac, who connived and schemed to gain the benefits and privileges that were to be given his older brother. Jacob first saw the manifestations of the inheritance from GOD hours following the blessing of Isaac. Until then, despite having obtained the birthright of the firstborn from his brother Esau, Jacob experienced only an inheritance directed by and to the flesh. Jacob acknowledged that the vision of angels ascending and descending a ladder to heaven truly was sent by GOD, and he was able to receive the revelation that Christ is above, and is served by the angels. Even so, for Jacob, GOD continued to be only the GOD of Abraham and the GOD of Isaac, and not yet the GOD of Jacob. Properly understood, the living are to fulfill human potential as well as divine proclamation, promises, and prophecy. As agents of those departed, the living are to carry out such necessary tasks as forgiveness, praise, repentance, sacrifice, and thanksgiving. Where the Holy Spirit is present in the awareness and self-will of created beings and living creatures, inseparable aspects of divinity will appear as a fresh endowment of the same life essence that was imparted from GOD to Adam (i.e., breath; spirit; utterance; word). The Incarnation of divinity as Jesus Christ has been provided to further the transformation of mankind to exist as immortal and incorruptible. It is written: 1^st Peter 5: 2-4, King James Version (KJV): 2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; 3 Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock. 4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away. My father verbally promised money to his church before he passed away, but his written will didn't include any such gift?

The attorney followed the will and his church didn't get any money. Now the church is harassing me demanding I give them money.

Is there ever a sutuation where a written and recorded will can be successfully challenged based on a deathbed verbal promise when the person has dementia and is only occassionally lucid?

“Anonymous”, the living may not save the dead through apologies, baptism, and good works; yet, the deceased are to be “remembered”, rather than condemned, and the resurrection life of Jesus is to appear by the dead also. For Christian believers, the character, operations, and substance of inheritance are not to center only on public displays of affection; the transfer of material goods and wealth; the recognition and development of connection and relationship on the basis of shared physical skills, talents and traits (e.g., eye, hair or skin color, height, weight, etc.); or the lawfulness of mandates imposed on ones siblings, spouse, and extended family. There also should be an acknowledgment of personal relationship, and otherwise unseen things that include commitment, enlightenment, intent, and purpose. Rightly understood, inheritance pertains to delegation of sacred authority, dominion, judgment, and priesthood. Just as the outcomes of judgment are not by inheritance and the son is not punished for the sins of the father, forgiveness, repentance and grace are provided as gifts from divinity and expressions of divine prerogative. The primary heir is usually granted a double portion of an inheritance so the “unfinished business” of the deceased may be carried out (e.g., among 3 heirs there are 4 portions; among 6 heirs there are 7). The deceased, who may have been corrupt, wicked and vain, is to be presented to the community at large having a new image and a new name from GOD. Where possible, their remaining debts are to be paid; and benefits and privileges are to be provided in their name that heal, nourish and revitalize the community. The proof that we have truly known the deceased is not that we celebrate or indulge the same appetites and weaknesses they embraced through their lifetime. There will be an acknowledgment of who they could have become, and the affirmation of their hearts, their spirit needs, and their unspoken requests for the things in life that they found to be higher and out of reach. Focus is not on their failures and sins; eternal purpose and what they (and we) may yet accomplish through Christ are the agenda. Today, reply is on “the law and the prophets” as described in the Scriptures. Through Adam and his sons who served as Patriarchs, a priesthood appeared that made atonement on the earth modeled after that in the heaven. The regular use of judges who would resolve conflicts and settle disputes by applying the law, and the ongoing use of prophets for admonition, guidance, and warning both would be established as part of the perpetual covenant of Israel began through Moses. “andrew”, for many believers today, “the law” means the Torah, the Covenant of Moses, or the Ten Commandments; issues of correction, discipline, living routines, and punishment are foremost. While, “the prophets” mean the major and minor servants of GOD identified as messengers and spokespersons in the Old Testament writings. For Christian believers, “the law and the prophets” can be understood as the two earliest streams of divine revelation to mankind whereby divinity was made knowable, known, accessible, and approachable. The life essence (i.e., breath; spirit; utterance; word) imparted to Adam from the makeup of GOD included inseparable content from the divine fullness such as balance, consciousness, integrity, personhood, self-will, wisdom, and wrath against sin. The endowment of spirit from GOD is what Christians also call the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Prophecy, the Spirit of Truth. Transgression of the sacred law by the male and female pair disrupted divine order throughout the universe, for the divine law and its sanctions are immutable. Mankind became subject to imperatives within the law that require an utter destruction of sin that we speak of as the second death. Mankind presently is in a season of grace wherein, rather than interventions that display authority, dominion, and power to force and impose divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD, graphic and memorable displays of the character and nature of divinity (we say, the image of GOD) are being made that will allow mankind to resemble, reflect, and reveal the character and likeness of Jesus Christ. Those who become born-again also must grow-up again, and become mature and ripe for harvest by the Lord at his appearing. As vessels of divine DNA so to speak, the sons and daughters of GOD who are joint-heirs with Jesus are to develop through discovery, gradual growth, sacred practice, prophecy, unselfish service, study of the holy writings, and suffering. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of John Michael Talbot:

Today, just as correctly recognizing and rejecting the enemies of Jesus Christ is not an earthly process that relies on finite self-promotion, human tools and the flesh, acknowledging that Jesus is the true Messiah is shown to require the presence and operations of the Holy Spirit. Today, reply is on forgiveness as a response on behalf of divinity more than a response by sinners to one another in human displays of contrition, humility, and regret for bad conduct. Jesus affirmed “the law and the prophets,” yet, he could not extinguish the sin that gripped the High Priest and elders of Israel, the Sanhedrin court, Pontius Pilate representing the government of Rome and all mankind, or the betrayal by multitudes who gladly had received healing and miracles from his ministry. As a sacred practice, forgiveness does not eliminate sin; even so, forgiveness may operate on the earth within human consciousness and self-will to establish opportunities and possibilities for mankind’s spiritual growth and transformation. Where guilt, shame, uncertainty, and fear of judgment appear with sacred law, forgiveness centers in expressions of divine personhood that include humility, impartiality, longsuffering, lovingkindness, and respect. Forgiveness appears as an act of GOD that encourages continuing exchange, reconciliation, renewed covenant relationship, repentance, and fruitful social interaction. While forgiveness displays active presence and other inseparable aspects of divine spirit, forgiveness does not convey the full authority and power of atonement, redemption, godly restraint, and salvation. Thus, no one openly asked that Jesus forgive them as the heirs of Adam whose cruelty, disbelief, irreverence, and scorn were displayed throughout his arrest, trial and crucifixion. Jesus prayed from the cross that men would be forgiven of their transgression against his Father in heaven, rather than their offense against himself. “Regwah”, both as a duty to GOD and a benefit to others, Christians are to practice forgiveness. Among mature Christians, forgiveness is to make visible the grace of GOD who is immortal, incorruptible, and invisible. Grace may be understood as undeserved, unmerited favor, and a feature of the full image of GOD provided to mankind. Thus, forgiveness is an expression of divine prerogative, eternal purpose, sacred law, and the sovereign will of GOD. That we forgive is more than a matter of expressing our own affection, our desires, or our emotions. Divine fullness (we also say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) is manifest and present within all sacred process and spirit substance. Sinners who repent receive a fresh endowment of the life essence (breath; spirit; word) that was granted to Adam in Creation. Inseparable aspects of divinity are imparted to those who become “born again” that includes balance, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Christian believers are the new creation of Jesus Christ; and his followers are to resemble, reflect, and reveal the character and likeness of Jesus in their lifestyle and daily routines. Forgiveness is a first step toward ending conflict, healing, peacemaking, reestablishing trust, resolving dispute, and accomplishing full reconciliation. The present season of grace wherein created beings and living creatures may choose to acknowledge or deny divinity will have been ended. Divinity has appeared alive on the earth using human flesh and life process as Jesus Christ; and the living have been allowed many opportunities and possibilities to resemble, reflect, and reveal the image of GOD, and the character and likeness of Jesus. Even so, using a process of self-promotion and self-selection, many have relied on such finite human tools as emotion, intellect, opinion, philosophy, carnal reason, science, critical thinking, and self-will (willpower), rather than embracing the gifts from GOD. When Jesus comes, the benefits and fruit of divine grace are to be present in those who belong to GOD and are to reside within the saved as their life essence (breath; spirit content; utterance; word) and as divine seed imparted from the makeup of GOD. Those born-again will have been changed through sacred knowledge and the revelation of GOD as Christ. Being the new creation of Jesus Christ, his church will have prepared themselves to meet the Lord in the air through consecrated works of discovery, gradual growth, practice, prophecy, repentance, unselfish service, study, and suffering. The natural world as our sphere of life is a sacred expression from divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD. Even so, mankind relies heavily on the finite tools of intellect, logic, carnal reason, science, and self-will (willpower). Academic studies and secular knowledge do not permit complete and correct knowledge of divinity. The operations of sin that oppose the continued existence of sacred law also promote a return to the conditions of preexistence, and challenge the integrity of the divine order that appears as the universe. Sin disrupts and undermines mechanical process and sequence, and therefore, results in evil (catastrophe) and upheaval. Our human potential for self-expression can be displayed in behavior that is animal, human or godly, for the earth and we ourselves bear the image and marks of GOD as our Creator. Amen. 14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

AN AFTERTHOUGHT: In addition to anger and resentment, forms of unwillingness to forgive include betrayal, bitterness, distancing, forswearing promise, harboring a grudge, neglect, and unfaithfulness. As an act or expression of renewed trust, forgiveness must appear between parties in dispute for there to be a continuing relationship of mutual respect and shared purpose.
