(11/08/2020) Appeals Directed to Spirit

Today, I share a statement on Spirit as the process and substance for the divine conversion, salvation, and transformation of mankind. It is not that churchmen and clergy attempt to “dumb it down” or understate the lofty discourse and themes from GOD that pertain to the new life-process provided through Jesus Christ. Where there is a lack of vision or a poverty of spirit substance imparted from the makeup of divinity, believers repeatedly rely on such elements as accusing one another, complaining, debate, gossip, name-calling, pointing the finger, and slander. Properly understood, the process of GOD is one where divinity makes appeals to the spirit in mankind, rather than simply to human flesh. The flesh is not just the physical limbs, organs, and tissues that are the material body; and it is the flesh that is subject to the operations of sin. The flesh brings together aspects of human form and mind such as appetites, attitudes, dreams, emotions, habits, intentions, memories, motives, preferences, sensations, and thoughts. It is written: Galatians 5: 19-25, King James Version (KJV): 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christs have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. (2nd Peter 1: 2-11, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: The Spirits Are Subject (10/28/2020); Awe Confused With Fear? (10/12/2020); Our Desires Are Weighed (09/01/2020); Always Connected By Spirit (08/30/2020); Divine Character Must Appear (08/13/2020); The Outcomes Of Judgment (06/28/2020); Knowing The True Messiah (05/31/2020)

Many in the church founded by Jesus Christ continue to use language to speak of divinity that describes GOD as no more than an unseen person who practices and displays the same emotional, psychological, and social needs as other men. For mature Christian believers, the processes of conversion, salvation, and transformation are discerned and recognized through sacred events wherein divinity communicates with mankind and becomes embodied within created beings and living creatures on the earth through spirit process and spirit substance from the heavens. Multiple operations by divinity that include immaterial, intangible, and invisible aspects of finite human existence and life essence (breath; spirit; utterance; word) are required that become manifest and present through sacred law, judgment, divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD. Believers are to realize that frameworks and structures for sacred knowledge are being provided from GOD that are simple yet profound, and that go beyond appeals to elements of the flesh and mind such as appetite, curiosity, emotion, imagination, intellect, logic, sensation, and superstition. The spirit in mankind must be addressed by the spirit that abides within divinity. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible and a selection from the music ministry of Sandi Patty:

(1.) Isaiah 66: 1-4, King James Version (KJV): 1 Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? 2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word. 3 He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dogs neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swines blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations. 4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

(2.) 1st Corinthians 12: 3, KJV: 3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

(3.) Revelation 3: 20-21, KJV: 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) There is a Saviour by Sandi Patty @ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E9qTQfuiqpg.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(11/05/2020) On Giving and Tithing

Today, reply is on the differences among charitable giving and the rendering of a holy tithe to divinity. There must be a sacred transformation provided by GOD. For many, tithing is primarily an institutional practice for funding evangelism, maintaining ordained priesthood, and sustaining communities for praise and worship. Yet, the promises and prophecies of GOD declare that there will be a holy city (New Jerusalem) that will come down to the earth from heaven; and a time must come when giving and sharing are no longer acceptable as works of repentance because they are to be permanent features of everyones ongoing lifestyle. Giving to GOD and receiving from GOD are to be like breathing, a continual life-process required for created beings and living creatures. The revealed goal and purposes of divinity are intended to provide an enduring relationship with divinity and the living. There are multiple traditions among Jews and Christians that proclaim the offering of blood sacrifices to atone for sin, that celebrate harvesting the earth, that certify and make a covenant agreement binding, and that dedicate or provide material tributes to GOD. Rightly understood, such offerings as burnt sacrifices from your own flock on a holy altar that serves as a point of contact for heaven and earth are divine transactions. Common fire may not be used to separate divine substance from material features such as form, shape, size and texture, and can not convey from mankind to GOD the inseparable aspects of his spirit that include commitment, gratitude, humility, life essence, oneness without sameness, personhood, rejoicing, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Tithing confuses many because paying a tithe also speaks to mankinds dependence on one another, and therefore may trigger finite human emotions of anger, anxiety, embarrassment, guilt, rebellion, and shame. Elements from human economies appear such as boasting, debt-dodging, duty, obligation, reward, and self-promotion. Even so, it remains correct to acknowledge GOD as the origin and source of all physical and spiritual things needed for life (e.g., companionship, food, healthy relationships, shelter). The salvation we are offered in Jesus Christ extends assurances that mankind will be made to exist as perfected, and will reside on the earth made new having immortality and eternal life that have been paid for and purchased through the blood and body of Jesus Christ. Because the gifts from GOD are freely given, the measureless abundance, grace, lovingkindness, and righteousness the Father has revealed to the Son are displayed to the full Creation. It is written: 1st Corinthians 2: 11-13, King James Version (KJV): 11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which mans wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. [Kehillah in Corinth I 2: 11-15, Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB): 11 For who of Bnei Adam has da’as of the things of Bnei Adam except the ruach of a man in him? So also the things of G-d no one has known except the Ruach Hashem. [Jer 17:9; Prov 20:27] 12 Now we have not received the ruach of the Olam Hazeh but the Ruach Hakodesh from Hashem, that we may have da’as of the things having been freely given to us by Hashem, 13 Which things also we speak, not in dvarim (words) taught by chochmah haBnei Adam, but in dvarim taught by the Ruach Hakodesh, making midrash [exposition, interpretation] of the things of the Ruach Hakodesh [2:12] by means of the words of the Ruach Hakodesh. 14 But a natural person does not receive the things of the Ruach Hakodesh of Hashem, for they are narrishkait (foolishness 1:21-24) to him, and he is not able to have personal saving da’as of them, because they are discerned in the Ruach Hakodesh. 15 Now the man of the Ruach Hakodesh discerns all things, but, by no one is he discerned.] A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality who uses the ID “Deana” (Level 3 with 1,756 points) posted the following:

Can we donate instead of paying tithes?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded. (Romans 11: 5-7, KJV) [Kehillah in Rome 11: 5-7, OJB: Thus, therefore, also in the zman hazeh, there has come into being a she’erit (remnant, remainder) in accordance with the bechirah (election) of chesed (free, unmerited favor or grace). But if on the mekor (basis) of chen v’chesed (unmerited favor, grace), then not on the mekor (basis) of [loin (wages), batsolen (pay) for] ma’asim (works), vi-bahlt (since) otherwise chesed would no longer be chesed (4:4-5). What then? What Yisroel sought for, that is what it did not obtain; but hannivcharim (the elect, the chosen ones) obtained it. And the rest were hardened (9:17-18)]

Deana” here are some ideas that may seem strange because they are not familiar. The practice of tithing is continued among Christian believers as part of the permanent change to acquire sacred discipline that sinners must undergo through the operations of the Holy Spirit. Correctly understood, there must be a sharing with divinitya “giving” without out giving; an exchange, release, and transfer of dominionwhere sacred gifts and an unchanging inheritance of spirit substance will be continually acknowledged rather than possessed. Because they are often driven by emotions and feelings (the flesh), charitable giving, community gatherings, and social programs for assistance and relief to others are very different in process and purpose from those that continue consecrated ministry, that establish and maintain opportunities and possibilities for ongoing and lasting relationships with divinity, and that manifest the unseen presence of divinity within the behavior and conduct of others. Consider again the following that uses language from the King James and Orthodox Jewish translations of the Bible with a selection from the music ministry of Steve Amerson:

(1.) Ephesians 2: 4-9, King James Version (KJV): 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

[Kehillah in Ephesus 2: 4-9, (OJB): 4 But Hashem, being rich in rachamim (mercy), because of His ahavah harabba (great love) with which He loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in our peysha’im, He made us alive together with Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach (by the unmerited Chen v’Chesed Hashem you have been delivered in your personal Geulah and the Yeshu’at Eloheinu), [TEHILLIM 103:12] 6 And raised us up with Moshiach and seated us with Him in Shomayim in Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach Yehoshua, 7 In order that, in the Olam HaBah, He might display the surpassing osher of the Chen v’Chesed Hashem of Him in chesed toward us in Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach Yehoshua. 8 For by unmerited Chen v’Chesed Hashem you have been delivered from Hashem’s Mishpat (Judgment) and granted a share in the Geulah (Redemption), through emunah; and this is not [an einfal (intuitive idea)] of yourselves, it is a matnat Hashem (gift of G-d); 9 Not the result [of the zchus (merit)] of doing ma’asim (works) [Ac 15:1; Ga 5:3 4], so that before Hashem no man should be a ravrevan (boaster, braggart). [DEVARIM 9:5] ]

(2.) Isaiah 65: 17-25, KJV: 17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. 18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. 19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying. 20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed. 21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. 22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. 23 They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them. 24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. 25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpents meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.

[Yeshayah 65: 17-25, OJB: 17 For, hinei, I create Shomayim Chadashim and eretz Chadashah; and the rishonot shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. 18 But be ye glad and rejoice forever in that which I create; for, hinei, I create Yerushalayim a rejoicing, and her people a joy. 19 And I will rejoice in Yerushalayim, and joy in Ami; and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying out. 20 There shall be no more in there an infant of days, nor a zaken (old man) that hath not filled his days; for he that shall die a hundred years old will be regarded a na’ar; but the choteh (sinner), a hundred years old, will be accursed. 21 And they shall build batim (houses), and inhabit them; and they shall plant kramim (vineyards), and eat the fruit of them. 22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat; for as the days of HaEtz are the days of Ami, and Mine Bechir shall long enjoy the ma’aseh of their hands. 23 They shall not labor in vain, nor bring forth for misfortune; for they are the Zera Beruchei Hashem (Seed of the Blessed ones of Hashem), and their offspring with them. 24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet medaberim (speaking), I will hear. 25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the ox; and aphar shall be the lechem of the nachash. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My Har Kadosh, saith Hashem. [T.N. This last chapter makes a reference to Gehinnom and the just retribution coming.]

(3.) Revelation 21: 1-4, KJV: 1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

[Hisgalus 21: 1-4, OJB: 1 And I saw Shomayim Chadashim (New Heavens) and Eretz Chadasha (a New Earth), for the shomayim harishonah (the first heaven) and haaretz harishonah (the first earth) were passed away, and there is no longer any Yam (Sea). 2 And I saw the Ir Hakodesh, the Yerushalayim HaChadasha coming down and descending out of Shomayim from Hashem, having been made ready as a Kallah adorned for her Ba’al (Husband). [NECHEMYAH 11:18; YESHAYAH 52:1] 3 And I heard a kol gadol (loud voice), a Bat Kol from the Kisse (Throne) saying, "Hinei, The Mishkan of Hashem is with men, and He shall tabernacle with them, and they shall be His people, and Hashem Himself shall dwell among them. [SHEMOT 25:8; DIVREY HAYAMIM BAIS 6:18; YECHEZKEL 48:35; ZECHARYAH 2:10] 4 “And He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there shall not be any longer Mavet, nor Avelut nor weeping nor pain; the former things have passed away.” [YESHAYAH 25:8; 35:10] ]

(06/21/2020) Acknowledging And Confessing Sin

Like newborn babes require continuous contact and nourishment from their caretakers and parents, Christians should desire an ongoing relationship with divinity.

Today, reply is that mankinds need for fellowship and ongoing relationship with divinity through prayer and confession of sin is more correct and necessary than self-reflection. Many men seek to escape having to face divine judgment because the tribunals of GOD must be complete, exacting, impartial, and incontrovertible; and outcomes can not be influenced or manipulated by created beings and living creatures. Because the goals of self-evaluation and seeking to judge oneself often focus on a desired outcome of self-approval, bias, prejudice, and subjective assessments of behaviors and goals repeatedly appear that skewer and disqualify the results that emerge by carnal soul-searching. Subtlety (barely visible differences; hidden meanings and values) may be ignored and given far less weight than is appropriate. Pursuing a mature relationship with divinity (e.g., the Father; the Good Shepherd; the Judge; the Son; the Redeemer; the Savior) requires taking accountability, communicating in prayer, commitment, discernment, focus, humility, integrity, obedience, responding to guidance, and willingness to apprehend divine expressions of joy, meaning, purpose, and value. It is written: Romans 8: 14-17, King James Version (KJV): 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. The fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality who used the ID “Regwash” (Level 7 with 131,994 points) posted the following:

Might critical self reflection be just as good as confessing sins to Jesus or whatever?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. (Galatians 4: 3-6, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Multiple Relationships With GOD (06/16/2020); Chances To Determine Outcomes (06/07/2020); Knowing The True Messiah (05/31/2020); A Habitation of Spirit (04/05/2020); The Purpose Of Worship (10//10/2019); Let Us Reason Together (08/07/2019); Reasoning Together With GOD? (03/11/2019)

Regwash”, it is not only important to Christians that we acknowledge the authority, power, and sovereignty of GOD, there also must be an affirmation of his goodness, grace, mercy, and righteousness. Those who are willing to receive the guidance and instruction that all things that have existence and that have life were created and put forth by divine fullness (i.e., divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) also are challenged to understand that GOD is not an abstraction, a mechanical device, or another phenomena that occurs by chance within the natural world. To have a full and correct consciousness of divinity requires there be sacred knowledge that comes through regular contact, ongoing exchange, and meaningful interaction with GOD whose process and substance are immortal, incorruptible, invisible spirit. Self reflection is a product of such finite human tools as intellect, introspection, logic, philosophy, carnal reason, and science. The flesh is subject to the operations of sin that may dominate appetite (e.g., hunger, thirst, sexual cravings), sensation (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching), emotion/mind (e.g., anger, fear, recall), and self-will (willpower). At Creation mankind was endowed with life essence (breath; spirit; utterance; word) from the makeup of divinity. Similarly, through Jesus Christ, mankind is to receive a fresh endowment of the inseparable aspects of divinity. Included are balance, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Relationships allow affection, communication, discovery, gradual growth, learning, practice, and unselfish service. Relationships with divinity fosters and thrives by acknowledgments of error, forgiveness, sacred law, divine proclamations, promises, eternal purpose, repentance, suffering, and expressions of the sovereign will of GOD received as rebirth and the divine nature. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Steve Amerson:

(1.) Jeremiah 9: 23-24, King James Version (KJV): 23 Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: 24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.

(2.) 1st Peter 2: 1-3, KJV: 1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, 2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: 3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

(3.) Ephesians 1: 3-11, KJV: 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. 7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; 8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; 9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: 10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: 11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

(4.) Ephesians 1: 17-23, KJV: 17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

(03/08/2020) Acknowledging Christ as Son

A depiction of the Roman soldier who acknowledged Jesus as the Son of GOD following the Savior's death on the cross.

Today, reply is on the birth of Jesus Christ through the operations of GOD, rather than the operations of the flesh. The birth of Jesus is a part of a larger operation by GOD to redeem mankind. The full array of divine actions that were performed by GOD for the nativity of Jesus are not reported in the holy writings. Even so, Christian believers apprehend the birth of Jesus as agreeing with revealed prophecy, promise, and eternal purpose. In addition to appetite (e.g., hunger, sexual cravings, thirst), sensation (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching) and the effects of emotion/mind (e.g., anger, fantasy, fear, recall), the flesh continues to generate organic changes and shifts in ones conscious focus, reactions, and responses. To continually acknowledge the character and nature of Jesus Christ as consecrated and sacred, one must rely on sacred process such as discernment, and the use of ones own spirit content to realize and respond to the spirit matter within events, oneself, other persons, presentations of doctrine, prophecy, etc. It is written: Luke 1: 30-38, King James Version (KJV): 30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. 34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. 36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. 37 For with God nothing shall be impossible. 38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality using the ID “Yesterday Strikes Back” (Level 6 with 10,556 points) posted the following:

Is Jesus the biological son of the god?
Whom did the god impregnate?

And what are the christian sects which deny that Jesus is the only biological son of the god?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. (John 1: 10-17, KJV)

Yesterday Strikes Back”, here are some points that may help. Jesus was born from the flesh of a woman, yet, not through the animal and human process of sexual reproduction. Those who acknowledge Jesus Christ as the son of GODand who have no spiritual confusion or unanswered questionsdo so by continuing within a “closed system” for knowledge and truth (we say, staying inside the box; conforming to the dictates of faith). Rather than his height, weight, and other features, focus must be on the spirit matter and substance of Christ that expresses divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD. Sinners who turn to GOD through Jesus Christ must become developing believers who undergo a transformation that is so comprehensive we say, You must be born again; grow up again; and become mature/ripe for harvest by the Lord at his appearing. Mature Christian believers only rely on sacred knowledge that entails specific definitions, language, meanings, standards, and values that are distinct and separate from those for such disciplines and studies as history, academic instruction, philosophy, politics, science, and secular knowledge. The finite human tools of intellect, logic, carnal reason, and “critical thinking” are expressions of the flesh, rather than of the spirit substance within mankind that was imparted as breath and life essence from GOD at the time of Creation. The sum of all divine substance (we say, divine fullness; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) is alive, exists as spirit in form, and displays multiple discrete, yet inseparable, aspects. Included are balance, commitment, faith, forgiveness, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. While spirit is manifest as invisible and unseen, and does not always use material and physical form, spirit can be known as active presence, cause, influence, and power. Mankind should be understood as fashioned in the image of GOD; and Christians are to resemble, reflect, and reveal the character and likeness of Jesus Christ. Even so, consciousness and self-will within created beings and living creatures may be corrupted and dominated by the operations of sin that oppose the continued existence of sacred law. Jesus appeared on the earth through operations of GOD that went beyond the ongoing frameworks for time and space, mechanical process, and natural law. While on the earth he was subject to aging, gradual growth, having to get and process shared knowledge through communication, and mortality.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, consider the following from the music ministry of Steve Amerson: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQEPqhn-M28). Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(11/07/2018) Acknowledgment Rather Than Surrender

Hannah Childless, But Her Prayer Answered
Frank William Warwick Topham (1838-1924)

Today, the reply addresses sinners coming to GOD on the basis of their acknowledgment of active presence and divine spirit substance, rather than through surrender because of the flesh and conditions that are carnal, material, and social. Despite being raised in the idolatry and spiritual confusion within Egypt and the household of Pharaoh, Moses had an inheritance from GOD through Levi. When GOD spoke to him from a burning bush that Moses had only stopped to examine from curiosity, Moses prostrated himself immediately. Job was challenged and tested by Satan, who did not appear to Job using a visible figure. Multiple disasters were heaped on him, and Job openly complained against divine injustice. Finally, GOD appeared and spoke to Job requiring that he minister to others who were not members of his own family and household. The acknowledgment of Job is seen in that he repented immediately, not that he surrendered. The writer at “Yahoo! Answers” in the Religion and Spirituality forum using the ID “Nami” (Level 3 with 1,128 points, a member since May 06, 2014) posted the following:

Surrendering to God?
Simple question. Do you think God will let a situation get so bad due to the unknown that it forces you to do nothing else but to surrender it to him?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe. And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. (John 20: 24-29, King James Version, KJV)

Nami”, divinity offers salvation using fixed methods and operations, yet, salvation is never coerced or forced on anyone. Among Christians, the answer to your question that is to be shared with sinners who become “developing believers” is not simple, for it pertains to divine prerogative; eternal purpose; sacred inheritance and ones participation in existing covenant relationships; and the sovereign will of divinity. The conditions and events endured by those within the household of faith are to be accounted as benefits, edification, and privilege. Thus, different examples may be taken from the holy writings that report incidents from the lives of the prophets. Joseph, who became second in command to Pharaoh of Egypt, and Samuel, who was consecrated and served the High Priest and his sons within the tabernacle even though he was not from the tribe of Levi, never wavered from their sacred visions, and their early experiences of GOD that were granted to them as children. Where Samuel grew up on holy ground, Joseph endured Egypt that represents spiritual confusion. The prophet Jonah was commanded to go and preach repentance to heathens and Gentiles in Nineveh (the capitol city of the Assyrians). He tried to escape the duty by taking ship to Tarshish; and was cast into the sea during a great storm. Jonah was swallowed up by a great fish that had been prepared and sent by GOD. Buried alive within the fish, Jonah prayed prayers of repentance, and was heard. Even so, when the city repented with prayer and fasting, Jonah became angry against GOD for displaying mercy in judgment, rather than punishing them with destruction. There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. For example, when Jacob fled for his life from the home of his father Isaac, the son and heir of Abraham, through deception Jacob had received the sacred blessing for the firstborn. Even so, Jacob knew GOD only as “the GOD of my fathers.” During sleep, he received a sacred vision of angels on a ladder from earth to heaven that filled him with awe and terror. Because he did not understand that his inheritance was one of priesthood, Jacob sought to bargain with GOD. Jacob offered to regard GOD as his own divinity on condition that GOD would protect and prosper himhe also offered to pay and share with GOD a tenth of whatever he might accumulate by all his travels. Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(10/11/2015) For The Sake of The Created

Why worship is important to continuing right relationship with divinity is in view, today.   The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Love Unites” (Level 7 with 35,316 points, a member since May 08, 2013) posted the following:

Why would a god desire humans to bow to him? In what way does this benefit the god?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master:  if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?  Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the LORD is contemptible.  And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the LORD of hosts.  And now, I pray you, beseech God that he will be gracious unto us:  this hath been by your means:  will he regard your persons? saith the LORD of hosts.  Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the LORD of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.  For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering:  for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts.  But ye have profaned it, in that ye say, The table of the LORD is polluted; and the fruit thereof, even his meat, is contemptible.  Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the LORD of hosts; and ye brought that which was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering:  should I accept this of your hand? saith the LORD.  But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the LORD a corrupt thing:  for I am a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen.  (Malachi 1:  6-14, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Awe? (08/09/2015); Prayer Behavior? (04/07/2015); The Meaning of Worship? (07/09/2014); Should Men Take Their Hats Off? (05/15/2014); The Issue Is Not Accuracy (05/16/2014); Fear & GOD? (12/30/2013); Continuously Tested (12/31/2013)

“Love Unites”, may I share some thoughts with you.  As a Christian believer, I can not give you an “easy” answer, here, for there are aspects of sacred knowledge involved.  No one having “a brow of brass and neck of iron” can comprehend the peculiar truths shared through the ministry of Jesus Christ without applying their own spirit content that must come from the makeup of GOD.  Given the principle that spiritual things (e.g., confession, sacred events (we say, miracles), forgiveness, incarnation, judgment, repentance, revelation, salvation, sanctification) are only recognized by using other spiritual things, Christians rely upon the holy writings as a major resource to understand the workings of divinity upon the earth, and through the living.  By faith, believers hold that GOD lacks no necessary element for eternal existence, sovereignty, and total supremacy.  Therefore, while divinity appears through divine law, sacred operations, and eternal purpose, GOD has no “desire”, lack, need, or want.  The fundamental imperatives (we sometimes say, basic demands for existence; the force of truth), and the standard operations for life (i.e., the cycles for continuous growth and maturation) require all created beings and living creatures be in communication, exchange, and interaction with their Creator and Maker, who is spirit.  Saying this another way, survival requires acknowledgement (respect, reverence, worship) like breathing in and out.  Consider the following:

(1.)  John 3:  6-12, King James Version (KJV):  6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.  8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth:  so is every one that is born of the Spirit.  9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?  10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?  11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.  12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

(2.)  Isaiah 42:  5-8, KJV:  5 Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:  6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;  7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.   8 I am the LORD:  that is my name:  and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

(3.)  Genesis 3:  17-19, KJV:  17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it:  cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;  18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;  19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken:  for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Exodus 34:  5-8, KJV:  5 And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD.  6 And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,  7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.  8 And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

(08/14/2015) No Other gods?

Scriptures points are shared, today, on idolatry, false worship, and the existence of no other gods besides the Creator.  It is written:  The secret things belong unto the LORD our God:  but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law (Deuteronomy 29:  29, KJV).  Because mankind is finite and temporal, the operations of the one holy, sanctified (we say, set apart) and true GOD to make known the full control, power, eternal purposes, immutability, range and scope of divinity must encompass multiple manifestations of existence through detail and subtlety (i.e., barely visible differences; changes that are difficult to detect; hidden shifts in meaning and value).  Saying this another way:  GOD must use measurable dimension, form, material being, and even incarnation (appearing in flesh) to establish the most complete and correct revelation of divinity.  GOD is a spirit, and otherwise invisible to the eye.  Deity becomes known, therefore, using thousands of events appearing within and through thousands of lives over the course of thousands of years.  The human predicament is not that GOD has denied necessary sacred knowledge to humanity; it is that many upon the earth prefer human error, disbelief, and presumption.  A fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Nathan” (August 12, 2015) posted the following:

When God said: worship no other gods beside me(or whatever it was, you know what I mean), was he acknowledging that other gods exist?

If not, why wouldn't he say don't worship other things, or have worded it differently?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake.  Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God?  But our God is in the heavens:  he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.  Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.  They have mouths, but they speak not:  eyes have they, but they see not:  They have ears, but they hear not:  noses have they, but they smell not:  They have hands, but they handle not:  feet have they, but they walk not:  neither speak they through their throat.  They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.  (Psalms 115:  1-8, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Sun Worship? (07/27/2015); Covenants and Relationships (01/29/2014); Salvation is Conditional? (01/30/2014); GOD is Acknowledging (09/30/2013); The Power of Death? (10/01/2013); Why Would GOD Worry About Us? (04/16/2013); How To Accept Bible Truth? (04/17/2013); Unto Caesar...? (11/09/2012); Before the Fruit? (11/10/2012)

“Nathan”, divine law proclaiming that no other gods are to be worshiped acknowledges not the existence of multiple gods, instead, the existence of widespread human error, and the desperate need of created beings and living creatures for divine revelation.  Most mature Christians believe that from the beginning of this Creation that focuses upon and serves mankind, divinity has appeared and revealed the GODhead (i.e., made Deity known) by being in intimate relationships with those living upon the earth.  For nearly 1,000 years, Adam was upon the earth, and shared oral history and living testimony to the origins of the human race, the changes that occurred in the human condition as the result of sin, and the divine provisions for atonement, cleansing, correction, and the eternal existence of mankind as immortal and incorruptible.  Other descendants from Adam (we say, Patriarchs) also served as priests, rulers and spokespersons (we say, prophets) from GOD.  However, as portrayed in the account of Abel and Cain—both sons of Adam, who worshiped the same “one true GOD”—error, lack of sacred knowledge, murder, pride, sin and unacceptable worship continued to spread among mankind.  Responding to Abraham and others, GOD chose to create Israel as a nation that would be in a permanent relationship with divinity through divine love, sacred law, judgment, promise, and prophecy.  Seven nations had been in covenant before the tribes of Jacob were chosen; and all were judged by GOD as “worthy of destruction” (i.e., to be totally removed from existence upon the earth).  The seven all had betrayed GOD through practices that included backsliding, blasphemy, idolatry, impenitence, irreverence, treachery, false worship as well as the worship of demons and devils.  Here are a few points from the holy writings that may make some of this clearer for you:

(1.)  Leviticus 18:  2-4, King James Version (KJV):  2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am the LORD your God.  3 After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do:  and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do:  neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.  4 Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein:  I am the LORD your God.

(2.)  Ezekiel 20:  13-17, KJV:  13 But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness:  they walked not in my statutes, and they despised my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; and my sabbaths they greatly polluted:  then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them.  14 But I wrought for my name’s sake, that it should not be polluted before the heathen, in whose sight I brought them out.  15 Yet also I lifted up my hand unto them in the wilderness, that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands;  16 Because they despised my judgments, and walked not in my statutes, but polluted my sabbaths:  for their heart went after their idols.  17 Nevertheless mine eye spared them from destroying them, neither did I make an end of them in the wilderness.

(3.)  1st Corinthians 1:  18-21, KJV:  18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.  19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.  20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?  21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

(4.)  1st Corinthians 1:  26-31, KJV:  26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:  27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;  28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:  29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.  30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:  31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

(5.)  Revelation 1:  1-3, KJV:  1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:  2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.  3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein:  for the time is at hand.

There are many other Scriptures that should be carefully considered, correctly understood, and made a permanent part of ones own sacred knowledge.  (For example, (6.)  Revelation 9:  17-21, KJV:  17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone:  and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.  18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.  19 For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails:  for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.  20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood:  which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:  21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith, sacred knowledge, and the continuing operations of GOD for your perfection.

(06/13/2014) Mary

Acknowledgement of Mary as mother to the Son of GOD is the topic, today.  Also, there is more on the hardened spirit of Pharaoh, and a Battle Cry from the music ministry.  A “Yahoo! Answers” fighter using the ID “Watertribe” (Level 1 with 20 points, a member since May 16, 2014) posted the following:

Why do some christians worship mary?

like the rosary and all that when first of all mary is not a virgin she had sex and had other kids she was a virgin when she gave birth to jesus thats all and she didnt die for our sins or is she capable of forgiving us of our sins only the son of god the lord and savior of the world jesus christ can so why are some of you praising mary

THE BATTLE AXE:  A Hardened Spirit? (06/12/2014)—(5.)  GOD did not change or “harden” the heart of Pharaoh so much as he permitted all to view the corruption of Pharaoh’s spirit content.  The enmity between GOD and Pharaoh that resulted because of sin was that of a created being denying the Creator, and insisting upon independence and self-will.  Pharaoh was chosen as an instrument for divine prophecy and sacred revelation whereby GOD would expose things from heaven using things in the earth.  Thus, the sin of Pharaoh, Egypt, and the Hebrews who sought to be a part of Egyptian society is more than a matter of character flaws, individual weaknesses, and defects in personality such as arrogance, blasphemy, defiance, and pride.  Pharaoh is a figure of Satan, and Egypt represents a belief system, a kingdom, and the entire earth opposing divinity and the kingdom of GOD in the form of an empire dominating and ruling the then known world.  Like Satan, Pharaoh refused to confess sin and repent, and refused to confess a need for guidance, instruction and wisdom from GOD.  The sin of Egypt appeared as idolatry, unbelief, witchcraft, and false worship.  Such sin also is a counterfeit of divine influence, and results in a false appearance of divine love being refused to those in need, and of the endowment of divinity being withdrawn.  Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, of GOD as the lawgiver, and of all Creation generated and maintained through law.  Sin actually may alter patterns of consciousness, conduct, personality and character by controlling aspects of flesh and human functioning such as appetite (e.g., hunger, thirst, sexual craving), sensation (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching), and emotion/mental operations (e.g., depression, fantasy, fear, recall, sorrow).  Yet, sin can not alter or control ones divine content, for the Spirit from the Almighty is immutable and unchanging.  See Exodus 5:  1-23, KJV.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.  And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.  And he came by the Spirit into the temple:  and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law,  Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said,  Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:  For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,  Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;  A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.  And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him.  And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;  (Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.  (Luke 2:  25-35, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Belief, Faith, and Proof (03/02/2014); Miracles and Visitations? (03/03/2014); The “Talking Cross”? (04/22/2013)

THE BATTLE CRY:  Readers are encouraged to hear “Marvelous” sung by Walter Hawkins & the Love Center Choir.  This amazing gospel selection features Bishop Hawkins, his brother Edwin, and a choir member, Patrick Sturgis.  Together, they create a crescendo that becomes more and more intense, and expresses a love to GOD that carries the listener higher and higher.  While celebration, rejoicing, and praise are often the most precious focus in music ministry—for our GOD inhabits praise—prophecy (i.e., to comfort, edify, and exhort) is never to be accounted as less than vital for continuing the Holy Spirit within the church body.  Conservative believers have often condemned this style of music, and complain that this form of ministry is too ecstatic, emotional, and even should be avoided as hysterical.  Nevertheless, rightly carried out, the important goal of lifting up praise is inseparable from that of building up and edifying the church.  By “Marvelous”, and through operations of the imparted Spirit, the hearts and minds of all are placed as it were upon an altar of sacrifice to become a pleasing fragrance carried before GOD.  “Marvelous” continues to be available as the second track within the 1998 Love Alive, Vol. 5:  25th Anniversary Reunion:  Vol. 1 & Vol. 2 [Original recording reissued, Live] and as an MP3 file from the February 10, 2009 Intersound album THE SINGING BISHOPS VOL 2.  On July 11, 2010, Bishop Walter Hawkins died of pancreatic cancer at the age of 61.  Honor to GOD.

“Watertribe”, here are a few points to consider that are usually shared among believers in Jesus :

(1.)  Mary is acknowledged as having served Almighty GOD by bearing, and giving birth to Jesus.  Even before she was conceived and born, divinity began to prepare Mary for her sacred work through operations of the Holy Spirit that purified and set Mary apart for divine service (we say, sanctified her).

(2.)  Where Mary is counted as only another believer who tarried in the upper room until Pentecost along with the apostles and disciples of Jesus, it still would be fitting to show respect to Mary as one of the first to receive the blessings of the Father, and the falling of the Holy Ghost.  Through further operations of the Holy Spirit, believers, today, are not fixed and limited by the frameworks of time and space, and so many admire and acknowledge Mary along with those of the early church.  All acknowledgment is not worship.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  Respect to Mary as the Mother of GOD, the Queen of Heaven, or as a Perpetual Virgin is not based upon any commandments, doctrine, or displays of divinity that she herself has put forth.  Rather, it is by operation of the same Holy Spirit that appeared in Creation to form the earth and the heaven, and that was also in Jesus Christ.).  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought:  but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.  And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.  (Romans 8:  26-27, KJV)
