Covenant practices and signs are in view, today, responding to a question on the frequent discussions of circumcision that appear from the Apostle Paul. The early church was required to demonstrate that they were anchored in the sacred knowledge displayed among the temple elders and the Rabbis. Paul began his apostolic ministry within the synagogues by appealing to believers among those who regularly attended. At first, belief in Christ was put forth as only a further expression of GOD’s covenant promises granted to the Jews. However, many of those who escaped from captivity and exile became grounded in tradition, and were determined to restore and preserve the covenant of Moses along with the Torah as what earlier had been provided as the highest blessings from GOD. Circumcision that had been bestowed on Abraham and his household as a mark of covenant relationship was not correctly acknowledged by the time of Moses, nor was circumcision uniformly practiced when divinity appeared on the earth using human form and life-process as Jesus Christ. Christ received circumcision as part of his inheritance and authentic humanity. Even so, circumcision was never intended by divinity as an outward mark of approval and consecration, or as a mark of disgrace and humiliation. Authentic sanctification (being set apart to serve divinity) appears by conformity to covenant law and sacred practices (e.g., observing the Sabbath; tithing; using the prayer shawl); and while circumcision is to be a visible declaration of commitment to relationship with divinity, a man will display his circumcision to fewer than 100 others during his entire lifetime (e.g., companions, doctors, family, etc.). Just as Christian believers today are to share with skeptics and sinners who seek new lives that release them from the operations of sin, the Apostle Paul was repeatedly challenged to explain what appeared as hidden connections among the operations of divinity through Jesus Christ and the earlier proclamations, sacred promises, and prophecies from GOD. Circumcision was granted to Abraham as a visible sign of covenant relationship between immortal, incorruptible, unseen divinity and mankind. GOD was to be acknowledged as more than an abstract Creator and Maker; divinity was to exist in continuing relationship through spirit process and substance imparted from the makeup of GOD that included balance, commitment, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, mercy for those found guilty in judgment, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. The covenant of Moses that followed some 400 years later provided the divine presence through sacred law, identity as a sacred nation, and as a divine instrument to resemble, reflect, and reveal the character and likeness of GOD. By focusing on the law as the foremost of all divine blessing, many mistakenly rejected and refused to receive and embody an indwelling spirit that would remove the obstacles continued by finite flesh (e.g., appetite; mind; sensation; self-will (willpower) ). Today, reply is on “the law and the prophets” as described in the Scriptures. Through Adam and his sons who served as Patriarchs, a priesthood appeared that made atonement on the earth modeled after that in the heaven. The regular use of judges who would resolve conflicts and settle disputes by applying the law, and the ongoing use of prophets for admonition, guidance, and warning both would be established as part of the perpetual covenant of Israel began through Moses. “andrew”, for many believers today, “the law” means the Torah, the Covenant of Moses, or the Ten Commandments; issues of correction, discipline, living routines, and punishment are foremost. While, “the prophets” mean the major and minor servants of GOD identified as messengers and spokespersons in the Old Testament writings. For Christian believers, “the law and the prophets” can be understood as the two earliest streams of divine revelation to mankind whereby divinity was made knowable, known, accessible, and approachable. The life essence (i.e., breath; spirit; utterance; word) imparted to Adam from the makeup of GOD included inseparable content from the divine fullness such as balance, consciousness, integrity, personhood, self-will, wisdom, and wrath against sin. The endowment of spirit from GOD is what Christians also call the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Prophecy, the Spirit of Truth. Transgression of the sacred law by the male and female pair disrupted divine order throughout the universe, for the divine law and its sanctions are immutable. Mankind became subject to imperatives within the law that require an utter destruction of sin that we speak of as the second death. Mankind presently is in a season of grace wherein, rather than interventions that display authority, dominion, and power to force and impose divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD, graphic and memorable displays of the character and nature of divinity (we say, the image of GOD) are being made that will allow mankind to resemble, reflect, and reveal the character and likeness of Jesus Christ. Those who become born-again also must grow-up again, and become mature and ripe for harvest by the Lord at his appearing. As vessels of divine DNA so to speak, the sons and daughters of GOD who are joint-heirs with Jesus are to develop through discovery, gradual growth, sacred practice, prophecy, unselfish service, study of the holy writings, and suffering. “Anonymous”, in the plan of GOD, by decision-making mankind may determine the outcomes of their own behavior before they take action; and penalties and punishment are not the primary focus for Christian thinkers. Answers shared among mature Christian believers as revelation from divinity include points of consideration you may never have heard or seen before. The following is a sample from the full system of Christian faith:

1. As created beings and living creatures put forth by divinity, the living are to operate as independent from the Maker, and as having completeness and integrity. Mankind is to display discrete and separate self-will (i.e., willpower), emotion/mind, personhood, and responsiveness to divinity. Just as there are no finite and man-made consciousness, existence, or life essence (breath; spirit; utterance; word), there is no finite and man-made “free will.”

2. David voluntarily was in a relationship with divinity that was defined and secured through divine law, eternal purpose, sacred promises, sovereign proclamations, and prophecy. As a condition of covenant, David willingly accepted judgment from divinity. GOD revealed himself to Moses as immortal, incorruptible, and invisible; yet, a God who operates through law, judgment, and inseparable aspects of divine fullness imparted from the makeup of GOD (e.g., faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, righteousness, wisdom, wrath against sin).

3. There are multiple points for exercise of self-will respecting divine law: Know the law, obey the law; err or transgress the law, repent; know the law, abide in the law where “to abide” is to incorporate the law within your lifestyle and daily routine. In the same way seeing ones own opportunities and possibilities for correct spiritual action and decision-making requires the practice of discernment, mature Christians practice discernment to acknowledge the presence, process, guidance, and gifts provided by divinity for judgment.

4. Properly understood, mercy is an artifact of judgment: Along with impartiality, mercy is provided to ensure balance and to lessen the harshness of condemnation for those who are found accountable and guilty following a complete examination of relevant truth. Forgiveness does not fulfill all the requirements for judgment and justice. Just as there can be no finding of “Not guilty!” “Case dismissed!” or “Time served!” without the formal tribunal of judgment, without judgment there is no mercy.

Today, reply is on the events provided by GOD to the followers of Jesus Christ that establish among Christian believers that the Lord is risen from the dead. Rather than the flesh, the Spirit imparted from GOD is the primary evidence for resurrection; and, when Jesus breathed on his apostles to impart the Holy Spirit comes into view as the event that made possible their acceptance of his resurrection and presence in the Upper Room. Many respond to accounts of the dead being raised as “incredible” (i.e., false reports; lies; something not possible, and therefore unbelievable). To have certain knowledge (proof) of ones own redemption and salvation by GOD through his Son, sinners must become aware of things that are invisible, yet, endowed with authority, power, and presence from divinity. Included are divine prerogative, grace, eternal purpose, sacred events (we say, miracles), and the sovereign will of GOD. There must be operations of faith and other aspects of divine life essence. Multiple streams of truth flow to us from the cross proclaiming that Jesus was a lamb of sacrifice slain for atonement of sin. In addition to his death on the cross, the holy writings also document his resurrection, and appearances to the living after his crucifixion. “Anonymous”, faith is the proof for the resurrection of Jesus Christ along with the many inseparable aspects of divine makeup (e.g., balance, forbearance, forgiveness, holiness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin). Usually those who require “proof” for the resurrection of Jesus Christ are attempting to grasp and understand divinity using the finite human tools of intellect and carnal reason. Mistakenly, they insist that academic, scientific, and secular knowledge can be used to analyze and examine things known only by using sacred knowledge. After the crucifixion, when Jesus first appeared among his apostles, he upbraided them for their hardness of heart, and refusing to respect the testimony of the empty tomb, and his appearance as a gardener. Yet, apprehension for things that are divine and sacred is only through features that are spirit in their process and substance, rather than carnal, material, physical, and social. There also must be acceptance of accountability and duty, commitment, discernment, respect, reverence, trust, and truth.

Thomas and the other apostles of Jesus Christ were chosen to be eye-witnesses of sacred events (we say, miracles); to be members of a spiritual team that would prepare communities to receive Jesus as a traveling evangelist (we say, itinerant preacher); and to assist in maintaining order during the public meetings and open-air sessions. More than this, the apostles were to be the living documentation that Jesus is alive following his divine resurrection. Also, the apostles were to acknowledge, authenticate, and certify the falling of the Holy Ghost; continue their apostolic ministry (e.g., baptism, exorcism, feeding, healing, teaching); display the spiritual gifts provided to continue the ministry of Jesus on the earth; and invoke anointing by the Spirit through the laying on of hands.

The apostles and the believers from the Upper Room received more than instruction regarding things past and current events. They were given guidance and visions regarding eternal purpose, the end times, and the appearing of Jesus to harvest the earth. As members of the early church granted the gifts of prophecy, the apostles were spokespersons from GOD who shared comfort, edification, and exhortation. Today, reply is on accounts in the Bible indicating that Moses continued to have favor with GOD, despite having been denied the privilege of entering the land of Canaan. Moses did not appear as one having place among divine fullness (i.e., divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit); and Moses was called to serve. There is no record that Moses was seen in vision seated or standing at the right hand of GOD as was Jesus Christ. Jesus used the parable in Luke of the rich man and the beggar to endorse the prophetic ministry of Moses. When the rich man asked that Lazarus be sent to warn his five brothers at home declaring to father Abraham, if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. Jesus affirmed, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. Also, the Gospel of John declares that the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. “Tracy”, the apostles of Jesus could have claimed they were eye-witnesses to the forgiveness granted Moses, and the majestic love of GOD. Many Christian believers trust that Moses continued to have favor with GOD on the basis of the fact that, before his death, Moses was permitted to see the features and qualities provided by GOD for Israel within the Promised Land (e.g., the plains and prairie land; the hills and valleys; the rushing streams and standing pools of water) just as Moses was allowed to see the train of glory that followed GOD. Others are convinced that Moses continued to find grace on the basis of his appearing with the Prophet Elijah during the Transfiguration of Jesus that provided further witness to Jesus as the Son sent from the Father. As part of the vision revealing the Promised Land, we also see Moses alive and receiving the fulfillment of his own proclamations of a prophet who would come; for Moses was permitted to acknowledge Jesus as the Prophet, Sceptre, and Star who would come, raised up from among the brethren in the Transfiguration to reinforce and strengthen the Lord for his trial, and death on the cross. In his excitement and spiritual confusion from the scene, Peter immediately acknowledged the divinity of Jesus and the two prophets by proposing that three tabernacles be established at the spot so that each one might be worshiped. Today, reply is on Moses, Pharaoh of Egypt, and the revelation of sovereign divinity to the 12 tribes of Jacob who were the heirs of Abraham. Nomads do not receive or provide land and territory as an inheritance to their own offspring. Entry to the Promised Land would be denied to Moses as well as to everyone except 2 (Caleb & Joshua) from the army of more than ½ million men who had left Egypt. Believers are given an account that goes beyond the correction and punishment of Moses for losing his temper. Israel was in a process of transformation whereby they would exist as a peculiar people displaying inseparable spirit substance from the makeup of GOD that included faith, holiness, humility, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. “Tracy”, when GOD sent Moses to them, the sons of Jacob were in covenant through Abraham, yet, did not continually acknowledge the governance, power, presence, and sovereignty of GOD as a unified people. Because we mistakenly focus on Moses as important along with other human figures spoken of in the holy writings, many of us fail to realize that the Scriptures primarily are provided to give us a clear “picture” (revelation) of divinity who is immortal, incorruptible, and invisible. The Bible is a record of divine fullness (we also say, the Godhead; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) appearing on the earth using thousands of events, within thousands of lives, over the course of thousands of years. Many think that Moses was denied the privilege of entering the Promised Land because he incurred the wrath of GOD by expressing finite human anger, frustration, and exaggerated pride, rather than speaking in a manner to exalt divinity. More correctly, we are to see that Israel had endured for hundreds of years within Egypt, a land that existed as a one-world empire under the rule of Pharaoh. From the time of Joseph and the famine, the people of Egypt, their livestock, and their land were purchased, and became the personal chattel (i.e., material goods; private property; slaves), estate, and inheritance of the Pharaohs. Not only was it necessary for Israel to be separated from Egypt for the heirs of Abraham to own property and goods maintained and transferred to their descendants by operations of law, their acknowledgment of GOD following the example of Abraham (e.g., building altars; circumcision; digging wells; herding animals for offerings and sacrifices of blood in atonement for sin, and for thanksgiving) could not be safely continued. Divinity would separate the twelve tribes and mixed multitude (we say, various Gentiles) by an exodus from Egypt that would fulfill the promise and vision granted Abraham, and break both the long-standing patterns and traditions of “man-made” government (we say, the world), and of those of heathen worship that included exalting the Pharaoh. GOD himself, not Moses, was to be acknowledged as the one who led, created, and formed Israel as a new kingdom among the nations. Today, reply is on divine mercy as an aspect of things sacred, eternal, everlasting and perpetual, rather than “infinite”, material and temporal. It is written: Isaiah 54: 7-9, King James Version (KJV): 7 For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. 8 In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer. 9 For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee. There is not a single word/sentence in the entire Bible to say that "God's mercy is infinite".

However, if God is resolved to condemn such people then there is absolutely nothing they can do or say that would sway the end result of his Judgment.

Because there is actually NOTHING at all in the Bible to say that "God's mercy is infinite", and therefore, God is never required to forgive those individuals who have trespassed.

Such wishful thinking is nothing more than a concoction by dishonest people who are frightened out of their wits.

However, based on God's omniscient knowledge of their "iniquity" (or "lawlessness") in the past and present tense He has every right to reject (and thereby, condemn) those very same individuals: Matthew 7:23.

But nowhere at all in the Bible does it actually say that "God's mercy is infinite".

“Political Commentator”, GOD is a spirit who exists without material form or limitation from the finite frameworks of human consciousness, self-will, or time and space. Mature Christians understand that, when divinity appeared to Moses becoming visible by using a burning bush, the GOD who earlier had made covenant with mankind through promise to Abraham also proclaimed his character, process, and substance to be that of a divine judge. In the same way, the sons of Jacob were challenged to enter into a perpetual covenant, they were called to embrace ongoing judgment that entailed correction, life, transformation, and the second death that are to be eternal. Divine mercy is an artifact of sacred judgment; without judgment compassion may appear, yet, mercy will not be manifest. Mercy pertains to the righteousness of GOD that is demonstrated by judgment. Included are balance, completeness, detail, focus, holy boldness, impartiality, integrity, resolution, rest, and sobriety. Today, reply is on converting others, prophecy, the duty of believers, and the testimony serving as witness from divinity to mankind. The disciples of Jesus are commanded and ordained to proclaim the gospel from GOD to others on the earth. However, rather than a process of verbal exchanges among men, humans lecturing one another, or the divine voice being heard from mountains and from the sky, on earth, the testimony of GOD is shared as an embodiment of spirit content from divinity whereby the living are made Christ-like. “Anonymous”, Christian beliefs are not shared as a matter of influencing others, manipulation, and persuasion. Christian believers all are to acknowledge that they have been called and recruited to minister sacred knowledge, spirit gifts, and divine substance on the earth. The finite human tools for such academic and secular focus as argument, debate, carnal reason, and critical thinking may not be relied on for growth and nourishment of ones life essence (breath, spirit, word imparted from the makeup of divinity). (1.) 1^st Corinthians 2: 1-5, King James Version (KJV): 1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. 2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. 3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. 4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: 5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

(2.) Romans 8: 15-17, KJV: 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

(3.) 1^st John 5: 9-13, KJV: 9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. 10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.
