(05/31/2020) Knowing The True Messiah

Today, just as correctly recognizing and rejecting the enemies of Jesus Christ is not an earthly process that relies on finite self-promotion, human tools and the flesh, acknowledging that Jesus is the true Messiah is shown to require the presence and operations of the Holy Spirit. It is written: 1st Corinthians 12: 3, King James Version (KJV): 3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. How did the other apostles not know Judas was the bad guy, when Jesus clearly kicked him off the dinner table?
Updated 38 mins ago:
When Jesus broke the news that one of them will betray him, the other apostles all looked to themselves and asked "is it me"?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee? Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts? And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered. Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not. (Malachi 3: 13-18, KJV)

“Anonymous”, the process and substance for recognizing the Messiah among the living on the earth does not rely on finite human tools such as academic instruction, emotions, intellect, logic, carnal reason, secular knowledge, philosophy, politics, and science. Divine operations are to be acknowledged that include atonement, commitment, Incarnation, prophecy, rebirth, resurrection from the dead, sanctification, unselfish service, suffering, and the second death. Properly understood, the process divinity uses in redemption, salvation, and maintaining fellowship with created beings and living creatures on the earth includes imparting inseparable spirit substance from the makeup of GOD (e.g., balance, faith, holiness, longsuffering, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, wrath against sin). Sinners born again are to repent; discover; be edified by GOD; continue praise, prayer, and worship; experience gradual growth; practice discernment; study the holy writings; submit to permanent change; and suffer without complaining, conflict, or despair. Even the chosen 12 were immersed in long-held expectations, vain hopes, and unfruitful traditions associated with misrepresentations of the divine law and covenant relationships of promise that should generate a faith with power and new life. Consider the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Sandi Patti:

(1.) Matthew 16: 13-17, King James Version (KJV): 13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

(2.) John 4: 19-26, KJV: 19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. 20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. 21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. 25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. 26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.

(3.) Luke 24: 22-32, KJV: 22 Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulchre; 23 And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive. 24 And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not. 25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: 26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? 27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself. 28 And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further. 29 But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them. 30 And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them. 31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight. 32 And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcC2x0go5R8.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(12/15/2019) Do Not Spare Them?

Today, reply is on divine wrath against sin, the duty of covenant partners to enforce covenant law, and the faithfulness of GOD as a covenant-keeper. Mankind has ongoing relationship with divinity only through the character, makeup, and operations of GOD, rather than through finite human abilities and self-will. Man must rely on sacred elements that include divine forbearance, grace, faithfulness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, eternal purpose, and wisdom. Correction and punishment from GOD are not arbitrary, capricious, lawless, or imposed without warnings. Those guilty of offenses are granted a season of grace wherein guidance and instruction are available along with opportunities to change, gradually grow, learn, and display improved attitudes and behavior. It is written: Hebrews 12: 3-10, King James Version (KJV): 3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. 4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. 5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. 9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? 10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. "Do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, child and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey" - Is this a command to commit genocide?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Israel hath sinned, and they have also transgressed my covenant which I commanded them: for they have even taken of the accursed thing, and have also stolen, and dissembled also, and they have put it even among their own stuff. Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they were accursed: neither will I be with you any more, except ye destroy the accursed from among you. Up, sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow: for thus saith the Lord God of Israel, There is an accursed thing in the midst of thee, O Israel: thou canst not stand before thine enemies, until ye take away the accursed thing from among you. (Joshua 7: 11-13, KJV)

(10/25/2018); Judgment Against The Canaanites (08/01/2018)

“Anonymous”, the conditions for covenant agreement with GOD include both accepting correction, and cancellation of the relationship with divine fullness. The words you ask about are not being spoken to a gang of liars, thieves, and murderers by a criminal boss to exhort and give license to violence. Rather, they are words from GOD as a jealous, yet, righteous judge spoken against his marriage partners on the earth (the 7 tribes of Canaan) who have betrayed him, entered into adulterous worship with idols and lesser gods, and have scorned all his displays of forgiveness, lovingkindness, and mercy in judgment. GOD speaks to the anointed and ordained officers of the court (we say, the executioners) who are lawfully authorized to carry out sentence against those who repeatedly attack divine order. They are not being surrendered to destruction because of their existence as carnal, finite, and material; because of their ethnicity, race, and national origin; or because of their human limitations and struggles resulting from gender and sexuality. It is not that divinity is pursuing blood because of bias, discrimination, partiality, or prejudice. It is that behaving as incorrigible, their own commitment, process, and substance contradict and oppose the continued existence of divine law, the Lawgiver, and the universe that makes manifest the invisible person of GOD. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Wintley Phipps:

(1.) Deuteronomy 7: 1-10, King James Version (KJV): 1 When the Lord thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou; 2 And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them: 3 Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son. 4 For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly. 5 But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire. 6 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. 7 The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people: 8 But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. 9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations; 10 And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.

(2.) Leviticus 26: 13-21, KJV: 13 I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright. 14 But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments; 15 And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant: 16 I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. 17 And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you. 18 And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins. 19 And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass: 20 And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.

(3.) Hebrews 10: 26-29, KJV: 26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. 28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

(12/13/2019) Sin Opposes All Existence

A depiction of Joshua and the miracle at Aijalon

Today, reply is on mankind being in covenant with divinity, the problem of sin as an obstacle to all existence, and the miracles at Aijalon where GOD caused the sun and moon to stand still. The holy writings report more than simply the ongoing human predicament that has resulted from sin; there are multiple accounts of one-time events on a divine scale that should be acknowledged as the primary focus of the Scriptures. The process and substance of GOD are revealed through expressions of sacred law, divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and divine fullness as the origin of life. The natural event of astronomical objects becoming fixed in the sky and suspending the operations of time and space is overshadowed and surpassed in its significance by an incontestable display of authority, power, and sovereign majesty from the Creator acting in judgment and divine wrath against sin. It is written: Joshua 24: 14-24, King James Version (KJV): 14 Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD. 15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. 16 And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to serve other gods; 17 For the LORD our God, he it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed: 18 And the LORD drave out from before us all the people, even the Amorites which dwelt in the land: therefore will we also serve the LORD; for he is our God. 19 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD: for he is an holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins. 20 If ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good. 21 And the people said unto Joshua, Nay; but we will serve the LORD. 22 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye are witnesses against yourselves that ye have chosen you the LORD, to serve him. And they said, We are witnesses. 23 Now therefore put away, said he, the strange gods which are among you, and incline your heart unto the LORD God of Israel. 24 And the people said unto Joshua, The LORD our God will we serve, and his voice will we obey. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality who uses the ID “Lighting the Way to Reality” (Level 7 with 10,947 points) posted the following:

Bible believers, what is the REAL problem in Joshua 10:12-13: “Let the sun stand still over Gibeon, and the moon over the valley of Aijalon”?
13 So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, till the nation avenged itself on its enemies..."

and its supposed result of sunlight lasting into what would have been night so that the Israelites would have time to slaughter their enemies?

Never mind the problem of god stopping the rotation of the earth, or any other such “explanation” that is typically given.

If you are able to comprehend and think about that quote rationally and with an understanding of what it states, you should be able to realize what would ACTUALLY occur concerning that verse in the context of today's knowledge.

A response of “God can do whatever he wants to do” instead of stating the problem is not an answer.

So, what do you think the REAL problem is, even if you believe your god could work around it?
Updated 45 mins ago:
Joe, passing a belief in the supernatural for an answers is an excuse, not an answer.

Regardless, what I was getting to is that if you are able think about it rationally, you should be able see what would ACTUALLY occur concerning that verse in the context of today's knowledge.

The point is whether you have the rational capability of recognizing the problem REGARDLESS of whether you go on to pass it off to the supernatural.

Apparently you don't.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies. The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet. He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth. The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein. Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him. The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies. What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time. For while they be folden together as thorns, and while they are drunken as drunkards, they shall be devoured as stubble fully dry. (Nahum 1: 1-10, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: More Required Than Crucifixion? (12/10/2019); The Tools Of Divinity (12/09/2019); Eternal Judgment With Mercy (11/19/2019); Understanding Existence and Life (10/15/2019); The Word From GOD (12/11/2018); Judgment Against The Canaanites (08/01/2018); On Law and Sin (06/07/2017)

“Lighting the Way to Reality”, we need to see with new eyes; to grasp the miracles at Aijalon, our focus has to be on the eternal purpose divinity addressed by making the sun and moon stand still, rather than the human aims and practical goals involved. Mature Christian believers acknowledge the existence of sin that is no imagined, occult, or supernatural thing. Sin is no carnal or material object created by GOD or man, contains no spirit substance, and has not been put forth by divinity. Even so, sin is described as having direction, effect, and presence; and sin may dominate awareness and self-will within created beings and living creatures. The operations of sin can be observed conforming to mechanical process and natural law; yet, sin itself is an enigma and a puzzle that has no answer and can not be eliminated, explained or dissolved by mankind relying on finite human tools such as intellect, logic, science and self-will (willpower). Sin opposes the continued existence of sacred law, the divine order that is our universe, the Lawgiver, and the existing spheres of life. More than simply destruction through weather events or eruptions that are natural occurrences on the earth, sin promotes a return to the conditions of chaos, confusion, and flux that were in place before the founding of heaven and earth (we say, preexistence).

For man on the earth to apprehend the problem of sin requires more than carnal reason, secular knowledge, and mental focus on material existence. Sin appears as the controlling aspect within the betrayal of divine trust made visible by covenant relationship, the transgression of divine law, and the rejection of sacred provisions for cleansing, correction, healing and restoration. Sinners who turn to divinity seeking relief from sin through Jesus Christ are granted sacred knowledge and divine resources that include a fresh endowment of life essence (breath; spirit; word) imparted from the makeup of GOD. Included are inseparable aspects of divine fullness such as balance, completeness, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, personhood, oneness without sameness, righteousness, self-government, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

The process within covenant relationship between the Creator and the created is one of revelation whereby divinity is being made knowable, known, accessible, and approachable to the living. Believers are provided with the same mind-set and consciousness that was in Jesus Christ through discovery, fellowship, gradual growth, observing sacred practices (e.g., fasting, praise, prayer, worship), study of the holy writings, unselfish service, and the godly endurance of suffering. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of the Gaither Vocal Band:

(1.) Deuteronomy 29: 29, King James Version (KJV): 29 The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

(2.) Isaiah 55: 7-13, KJV: 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. 12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. 13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

(3.) Jeremiah 6: 11-19, KJV: 11 Therefore I am full of the fury of the LORD; I am weary with holding in: I will pour it out upon the children abroad, and upon the assembly of young men together: for even the husband with the wife shall be taken, the aged with him that is full of days. 12 And their houses shall be turned unto others, with their fields and wives together: for I will stretch out my hand upon the inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD. 13 For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely. 14 They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace. 15 Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the LORD. 16 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein. 17 Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken. 18 Therefore hear, ye nations, and know, O congregation, what is among them. 19 Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it.

(05/19/2019) Judas Chosen By Jesus

A contemporary depiction of Jesus identified in the darkness of night to be arrested by the kiss of Judas (image reference below).

Today, reply is on the choosing of Judas as an apostle of Jesus in spite of the Savior’s awareness that Judas was likely to betray him. Judas represented Israel defiled through captivity and exile, that nevertheless was in perpetual covenant with divinity. It is written: 2nd Kings 17: 14-15, King James Version (KJV): 14 Notwithstanding they would not hear, but hardened their necks, like to the neck of their fathers, that did not believe in the LORD their God. 15 And they rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he made with their fathers, and his testimonies which he testified against them; and they followed vanity, and became vain, and went after the heathen that were round about them, concerning whom the LORD had charged them, that they should not do like them. Jesus did not covet a large donation from the Temple at Jerusalem, as did Judas. Thus, the character of divinity revealed through the ministry of Jesus Christ includes faithfulness (fidelity), forbearance, forgiveness, grace, longsuffering, and wisdom. Jesus behaved with a conviction that the doctrine and tools provided by the Father and the Spirit would allow every man missing opportunities for repentance, and a portion as the new creation. The fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “David” (Level 7 with 173,130 points, a member since September 05, 2009) posted the following:

Why Did Jesus Choose Judas Iscariot as One of the Twelve While Knowing in Advance Judas Would be the Betrayer?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple. (Psalms 65: 4, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Blaspheming the Holy Spirit (05/08/2019); Accounts To Reveal Divinity (04/28/2019); The Use of Money? (01/07/2019); The Discernment of Godliness (07/13/2018); Judas Kept The Bag (03/22/2018); Someone Who Is Kidding? (03/24/2017); A “Successor” To Jesus? (02/22/2018); Doing GOD’s Plan (02/20/2014); “Prayer Death”? (02/21/2014)

“David”, Jesus’ choice of Judas must be seen in the light that all have sinned and come short of the glory of GOD. Developing Christians are to understand that, because Adam and Eve transgressed the divine law, mankind is to exist displaying a condition of mortality, and now experiences life under a continuing sentence of condemnation and death. Even so, ongoing operations, relationships, and the official tribunals of judgment allow mankind to communicate, exchange and interact with divinity without bias, prejudice, and prejudgment. Sinners are granted opportunities to display their own integrity of being, their own content of divine substance, and their willingness to be returned to GOD through operations of the divine fullness (we also say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, Son and Holy Spirit).

The assessment and weighing of human attitudes, behavior, and conduct are more to identify and reveal the character and nature of sin than to attach a list of offenses to someone’s name (reputation). Many are blind to the “exceeding sinfulness of sin,” and fail to realize that sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Lawgiver, and the entire Creation. Sin is contrary to both divine and human nature; yet, sin may dominate consciousness and self-will (willpower) within created beings and living creatures. Through judgment, the harshness of divine condemnation appears balanced against sacred completeness, discernment, impartiality, lovingkindness, mercy, restraint, and righteousness.

Jesus knew “what was in mankind” (i.e., understood the possibility for a man to express either an animal, human, or divine nature—or even a nature that is a confusion of the three). He understood that those to whom he was sent were capable of hatred, murder, and violence against himself. Even so, he trusted that the outcome of operations by GOD through Incarnation would provide redemption, renewal, and salvation for both heaven and earth. A new creation and the fulfillment of eternal purpose would be accomplished by imparting fresh endowments of spirit substance from the makeup of GOD; immutable assurances, covenant, and testimony as well as forgiveness, clear expectations (hope), rebirth, sacred knowledge, and greater strength to endure suffering.

The ministry of Jesus was to provide grace to mankind. Jesus did not choose Judas desiring that Judas be a betrayer; and the Lord acknowledged Judas (and all the others) were capable of treachery. Jesus admonished and warned the twelve; however, he made no angry declaration of punishment against Judas or any one of the others. Jesus remained steadfast, and did not despair or quit his efforts to guide and prepare the full twelve. At the time they were introduced, Jesus recognized the pattern presented by Judas (ABCDEFG...XYZ is coming); and understood Judas would most likely be the one to betray the Christ. Even so, Judas was given opportunities to discover, to fellowship, to learn, repent, and be made new. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Ezekiel 18: 19-24, King James Version (KJV): 19 Yet say ye, Why? doth not the son bear the iniquity of the father? When the son hath done that which is lawful and right, and hath kept all my statutes, and hath done them, he shall surely live. 20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. 21 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die. 22 All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live. 23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live? 24 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.

2. Matthew 26: 20-25, KJV: 20 Now when the even was come, he sat down with the twelve. 21 And as they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me. 22 And they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto him, Lord, is it I? 23 And he answered and said, He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me. 24 The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born. 25 Then Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto him, Thou hast said.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 3. Romans 6: 15-23, KJV: 15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. 16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? 17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. 18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. 19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. 20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. 21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. 22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(05/08/2019) Blaspheming the Holy Spirit

Today, the reply addresses blaspheming the Holy Spirit as a transgression of relationship with divinity that will never be forgiven or tolerated, rather than a transgression of sacred law that may be covered and dismissed. Forgiveness for sin may only appear within the framework of a living relationship with divinity who is immortal, incorruptible, and invisible. Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Lawgiver, and divine order throughout the universe. Just as there must be the workings of sacred knowledge within the awareness and self-will of the living for them to correctly grasp divine meanings and values, those coming to GOD through Jesus Christ are to be in accord with the full Godhead through the character, makeup and life process of Jesus. Maturity and unchanging elements for relationship are to appear that include acknowledging atonement for sin through the blood and body of Jesus as well as receiving justification from the Father through the righteous works of the Son. The followers of Christ are to develop willingness to be held accountable for ones own choices and decisions, integrity, respect, and unselfishness. It is written: Yeshayah 57: 15, Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB): 15 For thus saith the High and Exalted, Shokhen Ad (the One Who abideth forever, i.e., the Shekhinah) Kadosh Shmo; I dwell in marom v’kadosh (the high and holy place), with him also that is of a contrite and lowly ruach, to revive the ruach of the shefalim (humble, lowly ones) and to revive the lev nidka’im (contrite of heart). Isaiah 57: 15, King James Version (KJV): 15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. The writer in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Yoel Cohen” (Level 5 with 5,112 points, a member since December 22, 2017) posted the following:

Christians why is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit unforgivable?

For example the Pharisees in the New Testament accused Jesus of being possessed with evil spirits/demons. At other times they accused him of following Satan. Apparently this is unforgivable. Why?
__________________________________
32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

"But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation." Mark 3:29

"Are they not the ones who blaspheme the honorable name by which you were called?" James 2:7

"Attributing the Holy Spirit’s work to an impure spirit (v. 30) is roughly tantamount to calling God Satan. " - BibleGateway

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For if you live in accordance with the basar (old fallen humanity under slave master Chet Kadmon) you will certainly die; but if by the Ruach Hakodesh you put to death the [shameful] acts of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Ruach HaElohim, they are bnei HaElohim. For you did not receive a spirit of avdut, falling back into pachad (fear); but you received the Ruach of Mishpat HaBanim (Adoption), having Ma’amad HaBanim (the standing as Sons [9: 4]), by which we cry, "Abba, Avinu"! The Ruach Hakodesh himself bears eidus (witness) with our [regenerate, Yn 3: 6] ruach that we are bnei HaElohim. And if bnei HaElohim, then also yoreshim (heirs) of G-d and co-heirs (Ro 4: 13) together with Moshiach, provided that we suffer with him in order that we might also be set in kavod (glory, eschatological glorification) with him. (Kehillah 8: 13-17, Orthodox Jewish Bible, OJB)

For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. (Romans 8: 13-17, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: From Spirit Not Mud (02/26/2019); Discovering The Holy Spirit (12/23/2018); Saying “In God’s Name” (10/22/2018); Completeness, Integrity And Wholeness? (06/21/2018); Iniquity Forgiven? (02/16/2016); When GOD Never Forgives? (12/28/2015); Blasphemy Against the GODhead (05/06/2014); Offenses to GODhead (05/07/2014)

“Yoel Cohen”, blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is more than simply a verbal behavior, defaming and denying the Spirit, or the use of profanity and vulgar language. To blaspheme the Spirit (we also say, the Comforter; the Holy Ghost; the Spirit of Prophecy; the Spirit of Truth) is to betray, despise, lie against, and refuse to be in accord with the Spirit. Divinity has appeared among mankind on the earth using flesh as Jesus Christ (we say, the Incarnation). Where transgressions of divine law destroyed relationship between the Creator and the created, Christ revealed and made known unseen divine forgiveness, rebirth, reconciliation, sacrifice, and sanctification as sacred operations for repairing divine relationship with the living. The Holy Spirit continues the sacred works begun and demonstrated on the earth through the ministry of Jesus, yet, does not carry out a discrete agenda that is his own, and that exists as independent from Christ.

Among mature Christian believers, multiple streams of truth come together when seeking to apprehend the prohibition against blaspheming the Holy Spirit. In addition to acknowledging the character, makeup and process of divine fullness (we also say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) there must be a realization that personhood (we say, the image of God) imparted to mankind is to display the inseparable aspects of personhood that exist among the Godhead. Included are commitment, faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Communication, exchange and interaction with divinity for created beings and living creatures occurs through divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD.

GOD is active presence whose makeup and substance is spirit (we also say, breath; life essence; word). Spirit is diffuse, invisible, and has no material limits. Thus, men do not continue in direct personal relationship with the Holy Spirit so much as they serve as vessels that may contain gifts from the body and makeup of divinity (divine DNA, so to speak). Containing divine spirit, men and women are the children of GOD, sacred offspring, and joint heirs with Jesus Christ. Since the fall of Adam, and the condition of mortality being made constant for mankind, men on the earth may only connect, be joined to, or express themselves in continuing relationship with divinity through the ministry and works of Jesus Christ as spokesperson, Redeemer and Savior, and the Holy Spirit as the agent of the Lord. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Yochanan 16: 7-15, Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB): 7 But I tell HaEmes (the truth), it is better for you that I go away. For if I do not go away, the Melitz Yosher (Praklit, Advocate, Counselor, Helper in Court) will not come to you. But if go, I will send Him (the Ruach Hakodesh) to you. 8 And having come, that one will expose and convict the Olam Hazeh concerning Chet and concerning Tzedek and concerning Mishpat: 9 Concerning Chet (Sin), because they do not have emunah in me; 10 Concerning Tzedek [DANIEL 9: 24] because I go to HaAv and no longer do you see me; 11 And concerning Mishpat (Judgment) because the Sar HaOlam Hazeh has been judged. 12 Yet many things I have to tell you, but you are not able to bear them now. 13 But when that One has come, the Ruach Hakodesh, the Ruach HaEmes, He will guide you in all truth. [TEHILLIM 25: 5] For He will not speak on His own authority, but what things He will hear, He will speak, and the things that are to come He will announce to you. 14 That One will give kavod to me, because He will receive of what is mine, and will announce it to you. 15 All things which HaAv has are mine; therefore, I said that of mine He receives and will announce it to you.

John 16: 7-15, King James Version (KJV): 7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. 8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 Of sin, because they believe not on me; 10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; 11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. 12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. 13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. 15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

2. Yehudim in Moshiach 10: 28-31, OJB: 28 Anyone who was doiche (rejecting or setting aside) the Torah of Moshe Rabbeinu, upon the dvar of SHNI EDIM O AL PI SHLOSHA EDIM ("Testimony of two or three witnesses" DEVARIM 19: 15), dies without rachamim.
29 By how much worse onesh (penalty) do you think the one will be considered worthy who trampled on the Ben HaElohim and also treated as mechallel kodesh (profane) the Dahm HaBrit which set him apart mekudash and also committed Chillul Hashem gidduf against the Ruach Hakodesh of Hashem’s chesed? 30 For we have da’as of the One who said, LI NAKAM V’SHILEM ("Vengeance is mine and I will repay") [DEVARIM 32: 35] and again YADIN HASHEM AMMO ("The L-rd will judge his people" DEVARIM 32: 36). 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Elohim Chayyim.

Hebrews 10: 28-31, KJV: 28 He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 3. Kehillah in Rome 8: 3-9, OJB: 3 For what the Torah was unable to do in that it was weak through the basar (fallen human nature under Chet Kadmon and without hitkhadshut renewal and regeneration by the Ruach Hakodesh), G-d sent his own Ben HaElohim [Moshiach] in the very demut (likeness) of the basar of sinful humanity and as a chattat (sin offering, sin atoning sacrifice, 2C 5: 21) and both pronounced and effected a sentence of death on HaChet baBasar (Sin in the Flesh, in the fallen old humanity) 4 In order that the maleh chukat haTorah (the full statute requirement of the Torah, see VAYIKRA 18: 5) might be fulfilled in us whose halakhah is in the Derech [HaChayyim] (the Way of Life) according to the Ruach Hakodesh and not in accordance with the basar. 5 For those who exist in terms of the basar take the side of the basar, whereas those who exist in terms of the Ruach [Hakodesh] take the side of the Ruach Hakodesh. 6 For the way of thinking of the basar is mavet (death), whereas the way of thinking of the Ruach Hakodesh is Chayyim and Shalom. 7 Because the way of thinking of the basar is hostility, eyvah (enmity BERESHIS 3: 15) toward G-d, for it does not submit itself to the Torah of G-d; for it cannot. 8 And those who are in the basar are not able to please Hashem. 9 However, you are not in the basar [i.e., unregenerate] but in the Ruach Hakodesh, assuming that the Ruach Hakodesh of Hashem does indeed dwell in you—if anyone does not have the Ruach HaMoshiach, that person does not belong to Moshiach.

Romans 8: 3-9, KJV: 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

AN AFTERTHOUGHT: The Decalogue (the Ten Commandments) does not use the words “blasphemy”, “blaspheming”, “the Godhead,” or “the Holy Spirit.” Even so, developing and mature Christian believers usually discern and recognize the first commandments as the divine statements that provide instruction for genuine reverence and continuing relationship with divine fullness. It is written: Shemot 20: 1-7, Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB): 1 Then Elohim spoke all these words, saying, 2 I am Hashem Eloheicha, Who brought thee out of Eretz Mitzrayim, out of the bais avadim (house of slaves). 3 Thou shalt have no elohim acherim in My presence. 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any pesel, or any temunah of any thing that is in Shomayim above, or that is in ha’aretz beneath, or that is in the mayim under ha’aretz. 5 Thou shalt not tishtacheveh to them, nor serve them; for I Hashem Eloheicha am an El kanna, visiting the avon Avot upon the Banim unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me; 6 But showing chesed unto thousands of them that love Me, and are shomer over My mitzvot. 7 Thou shalt not take the Shem Hashem Eloheicha in vain; for Hashem will not hold him guiltless that taketh Shmo in vain.

Exodus 20: 1-7, King James Version (KJV): 1 And God spake all these words, saying, 2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. 7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

(12/04/2018) On Seeing The Father

James Tissot (1836-1902), He That Has Seen Me, Has Seen the Father

Today, reply is on mankind seeing the Father while on the earth through Jesus Christ. Throughout his Incarnation, appearing in flesh, the Word consistently displayed authentic humanity and personhood. Jesus was so “average” in his appearance that he had to be betrayed with a kiss from someone close to him when the temple guards and Roman soldiers came to arrest him at the Garden of Gethsemane in the dark of night. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality, who uses the ID “Mario” (Level 3 with 1,960 points, a member since September 26, 2006) posted the following:

Is there a physical description of Jesus in the bible?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further. But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them. And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them. And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight. And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures? (Luke 24: 28-32, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: The Mystery of GODhead (10/21/2018); GOD Has Come Down (10/09/2018); These Three Are One (10/03/2018); What Is A Spirit? (03/06/2018); Certainty, Conviction and Faith (01/05/2018); Knowing the Invisible GOD (09/17/2017); Yet In My Flesh... (06/07/2016); Seeing Jesus While Alive? (02/05/2016)

“Mario”, the Scriptures do not include a plainly worded description of the appearance and physical features of Jesus Christ. Mature Christian believers are not to dwell on the Savior’s physical traits, or any similitude that could become an idol. The Savior is to be apprehended through the sacred operations of spirit we call discernment whereby ones own endowment of spirit content from the makeup of GOD is used as the standard that permits recognition and response to the same spirit as it appears within events, other persons, messages, promises, prophecy, etc. We acknowledge that Jesus was nondescript, and an “every-man” who made a lasting impression and was memorable through direct exchange, interaction, and sacred experiences granted to provide revelation, witness and testimony. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. John 14: 5-10, King James Version (KJV): 5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. 8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father? 10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

2. Luke 7: 19-23, KJV: 19 And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another? 20 When the men were come unto him, they said, John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another? 21 And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight. 22 Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached. 23 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 3. John 20: 24-29, KJV: 24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. 25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe. 26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. 27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. 28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. 29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(11/22/2018) Forgiven Yet Not Reconciled?

The print by Gustave Dore depicts David mourning his son Absalom

Today, points are shared on the account of King David allowing his son Absalom to return home from exile, and the matter of divine forgiveness unaccompanied by reconciliation. The full gravity of a person’s offenses against GOD may not be discerned immediately; and a crime having serious spiritual consequences and outcomes may be shown less attention than a sin against mankind that is carnal such as fratricide. Because godly and righteous judgment require forgiveness, impartiality, and mercy be shown to transgressors (sinners), where parents and other family are charged to put aside and suppress feelings of love or obligation to serve as judge, they also will distance themselves to establish and maintain balance, integrity, and soundness for the process of law. In response, those who receive the benefits of judgment are to acknowledge what they have received through their regular displays of discretion, gratitude, repentance, reverence, and reconciliation, rather than ambition, irreverence, politics, or self-promotion. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality, who uses the ID “She Dances With Love” (Level 7 with 59,145 points, a member since August 27, 2007) posted the following:

Why isn't Absalom pardoned?

The king said, “Let him dwell apart in his own house; he is not to come into my presence.” So Absalom lived apart in his own house and did not come into the king’s presence.
(2 Samuel 14:24)

David shows mercy to Absalom. He does not enforce the penalty of the law that condemned his son. But Absalom is not pardoned. Why?

There is no reconciliation. Why? What was missing?

Romans 3:25 speaks about what God did for his people until the coming of Jesus Christ into the world: “in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins.” God left the matter of justice for another time. Is there a connection to us in the story of David and Absalom?

That is what God had done with regard to David’s sin, and that is what David did with regard to Absalom; he “passed over former sins.”

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And it came to pass after this, that Absalom prepared him chariots and horses, and fifty men to run before him. And Absalom rose up early, and stood beside the way of the gate: and it was so, that when any man that had a controversy came to the king for judgment, then Absalom called unto him, and said, Of what city art thou? And he said, Thy servant is of one of the tribes of Israel. And Absalom said unto him, See, thy matters are good and right; but there is no man deputed of the king to hear thee. Absalom said moreover, Oh that I were made judge in the land, that every man which hath any suit or cause might come unto me, and I would do him justice! And it was so, that when any man came nigh to him to do him obeisance, he put forth his hand, and took him, and kissed him. And on this manner did Absalom to all Israel that came to the king for judgment: so Absalom stole the hearts of the men of Israel. (2nd Samuel 15: 1-6, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: A Descendent of David? (03/18/2018); The Operations of Sin (07/25/2017); Reconciliation Provided By Christ (05/30/2017); Carrying Out Divine Law? (03/20/2017); Restoring the Divine Presence? (03/09/2017); The Death Penalty? (10/08/2015); Why So Much Murder? (01/12/2013); Confusion 2013 (01/13/2013)

“She Dances With Love”, here are some points Christian believers may consider to further apprehend mankind’s inheritance from divinity and the figures of David and his son, Absalom:

1. While fratricide by Cain, the son of Adam, was a terrible transgression and violation of divine law, Cain also transgressed by dishonoring his father and mother, Adam and Eve. More than this, Cain despised and rejected his inheritance of divine priesthood with its sacred operations for atonement, judgment, offering, sacrifice, and salvation for the earth that was modeled after the divine priesthood within the temple in heaven.

2. While GOD set a mark and seal upon Cain for the defense and protection (we say, deliverance; salvation) of one who committed murder, and Cain goes on to live a life of repentance, Cain is not to be seen pleading for or acknowledging divine forgiveness; thus, reconciliation does not appear so much as the divine bestowal of mercy that is revealed and made visible primarily through judgment. It is Seth, the son of Adam, who appears as the chosen heir to the priesthood, and who prefigures the ministry of Jesus Christ on the earth.

3. While Absalom also was guilty of killing his own brother, his transgression attacked the dynasty bestowed to David through divine promise. Absalom denied and despised the divine anointing of David as the monarch (chief; king) over Israel, his own accountability as an heir to the throne of David (not that of his grandfather), and the duty of his father David to deliver justice and serve as the chosen spokesperson (we say, prophet) from GOD to administer and proclaim divine law.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. Absalom as the son of King David is most a figure of Jesus Christ when he is ordered to be killed by Joab (the commander of the army, and nephew of the king). The hair on his head became entangled in the branches and limbs of a tree, and Absalom was plucked from his mount, and suspended in the air. The betrayal by Judas is depicted, and the rejection of Christ by the elders of Israel.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
